More Media Attacks on Homeschooling
The Washington Post continues its series of attacks on homeschooling—this time going after research studies on the effectiveness of home education in the US. Yet, favorability towards homeschooling among the American public is at an all-time high, and favorability towards public schools among the American public is at an all-time low. We point out that sociological studies on education and every other part of social life are fairly useless. How does one identify the best way to educate a child? Go to God, the Source of all wisdom. Rely on God's Word as the highest form of wisdom in these matters.

The Benefits and Challenges of Raising Sheep
Families raise chickens, goats, and cows. But why not sheep? We catch up with the “Shepherdess.com” to discover how she went from $0 to $100,000 in three years with a small flock on thirty acres. Here’s another excellent idea for a family economy in the 21st century.

Homosexuals Chewing Away on Ministries
Homosexuals, transgenders, and even Christians have been chewing away on business owners, curtailing their freedoms to hire and fire whomever they will. Now ministries like World Vision have lost three court decisions in the attempt to hire and fire whom they will. When will Christians as well as homosexuals respect the property rights of business owners to make their own decisions about whom they will hire and fire? When will pastors take up the principled position and preach against affirmative action, government enforced hiring quotas, and minimum wage laws?

Lapsed Christian Nations Revert to Paganism
Increasing numbers of Americans are approving of polygamy, and this introduces a discussion on how Christian nations ridded themselves of both polygamy and slavery. This took about 1,000 years. But now, a post-Christian pagan society is going back to things like homosexuality, polygamy, and slavery. We provide a biblical argument against polygamy and point out that Mohammed and Joseph Smith were wrong on polygamy (and slavery).

Are You a Real Believer?
The vast, vast majority of Catholics and Muslims are nominal "believers." But what about Protestants and Evangelicals? What is the difference between a nominal believer and a real believer who actually believes what he says he believes—or the fundamental propositions of a particular faith? We discuss what the average everyday Catholic, Muslim, and Protestant believes these days—agnosticism, deism, keeping "god" happy with a little church attendance . . . maybe. What is it to be a true believer? How would you know that you were a true believer?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Time’s Impactors—For Better or Worse
Dictators and pop stars made the list of Time Magazine Person of the Year finalists. Xi Jinping, Taylor Swift, Barbie, King Charles III, Vladimir Putin, the people who have prosecuted Trump, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman all made the list. We contrast this with God’s hall of heroes from 2023 and throughout Christian history—the poor wise man who saved the city, the persecuted saints, the homeschool leaders in tough places like South Africa and Brazil, and others. Training Our Sons to Be Leaders
There is no greater need today than to invest in mentorship and discipleship—especially for our young men. Preparation for family, life, marriage, work, and leadership calls for far more than what mere book-learning and college can provide. How do we dial in calling, character, and competencies by mentorship? Here are some super helpful tips from Dr. Phillip Kayser from BiblicalBlueprints.org.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

What Revival Looks Like
Is America doing that much better than Russia? Perhaps with Judah we could say, "She has been more righteous than I." We speak of revival, but what does revival look like? Here's a brief, encouraging historical survey of the greatest revivals in history.

The Key Motivator to Work
The number of people quitting their jobs is still higher than it has been in 20 years . . . about 3.6 million a month. This was averaging around 2.5 million per month for 20 years. But why the lack of retention? How does the younger generation view work and cultivate dependability? We give the key to success for this character trait in this edition of Generations.

Woke Movies and Stereotyping
Wokism is like to rewrite modern perspectives of everything, including Snow White the Seven Dwarfs. We walk through the woke agenda of feminism, homosexuality, stereotyping, victimization, and racism. We define sin, not by some autonomous human definition . . . but by God's laws.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

God Is Sovereign Over Wars
Iran has finally achieved sufficient Uranium to make two nuclear bombs about the size of those dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We trace the worldview of the five key scientists who put together the first nuclear bomb at Los Alamos. This follows the pattern of the Nephilim in the pre-flood world, and the Nephilim Philosophers of the 19th century. But the real question is this—who brings judgement on the world? God or man?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Failing Christian Education?
After 18 years of Sunday school, youth group, and even Christian school, many Christian children still graduate from high school thoroughly indoctrinated in a humanist worldview, later becoming big humanists in college. And then they just walk away from the faith. In this interview that Kevin Swanson conducted with World Magazine founder Joel Belz, we look at several different problems with Christian education 50 years into this new movement. Joel is one of the most experienced voices on this issue of Christian education in the country. What makes Christian education so ineffective, and what can we do to bolster it?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Evangelism vs. God’s Law in the Civil Sphere
The West is under God's judgment because they have increasingly broken more of God's laws in the most egregious possible ways. But what about colonialism? Were there sins committed by the colonial governments as well? The metric by which to determine right and wrong still must be the law of God. Nonetheless, the failure to disciple our own nation in the commandments of God has yielded a capitulation to governance by bad worldviews, and a gradual loss of liberty, prosperity, and justice and righteousness, biblically defined. The Risks of Free Speech
Free speech has never been more accessible . . . or more at risk. Florida's law preventing children from accessing drag shows didn't quite pass muster with the US Supremes. What are the boundaries to free speech? Both right and left seemed concerned. The American founders were right when they saw the necessity of self-government in order to maintain liberties (such as free speech), but are Americans self-governed enough to preserve the first amendment?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Argentina Plays Trump Card
Just when the establishment is pretty sure they've got the reset in place, it turns out they don't. Argentina shocks the world by electing a president that turns the whole agenda on its head. But what is this anarcho-capitalism of Javier Millei? Anarchy and totalitarianism are best friends—they play off on each other in all the wrong ways.

God’s Remarkable Providences in History
This Thanksgiving we are thankful for God's providential interpositions and powerful workings throughout history. But, here are ten of the most critical turning points in human history—especially as far as we see the advancement of Christ's kingdom and liberty from evil powers that would destroy the Church of Jesus Christ. Have you heard these stories . . . Columcille on Iona, Cyril and Methodius and the Cyrillic Bible, the Moravian Pentecost, the first Bible translated into an Asian language, the planting of Canada as an escape for the Huguenots, the saving of Protestantism in Europe by a Swedish King, the 95 Theses at on the Wittenberg church door, the Magna Carta, and Kings Mountain in South Carolina. Here's an exciting summary of the greatest works of God over the last 1,500 years of world history.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Police State Mentality on the Rise
The United States has taken concerted steps towards police-state type activities . . . especially in relation to the treatment of conservatives and Christians. How do average, ordinary people turn into Gestapo and KGB-like operators? Dinesh D'Souza is the Director/Producer of a powerful new documentary on the rise of the modern police state. What can local magistrates do to oppose this? What about Congress? Will we avail ourselves to the balance of powers necessary to quell tyranny?

Death Culture Rising for 15 Years
The death culture is rising year by year without respite. A full 80% of the post-Christian Dutch in the Netherlands are for doctor-assisted suicide for any reason, and the US may not be far behind. What is the root of the death culture, and why is suicide completely opposite a right view of God, man, the universe, Jesus, and salvation? Modern man has given up the possibility of knowledge, truth, purpose, the right and the good, and the certainty of existence. To interact with the program, e-mail [email protected]. A Geo-political Irony of the Highest Order
There is a great irony here—that these nations that once brought Christianity into India and Muslim Sudan . . . in the 18th and 19th centuries . . . are now led by Hindus and Muslims. We analyze the impetus behind this—pluralism and a spite for a Christian heritage. But ultimately, it is the humbling of the West, and the judgment of God upon a radically immoral people. History of Big Government in US
Big government has been let loose upon America . . . but now, Bidenomics has introduced flagrantly irresponsible government void of all restraint. Federal deficits are completely out of control now. The legacy of big government begins with Abraham Lincoln, and picks up again with Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, FDR, and Donald Trump.

The Gulag Archipelago Legal System
The freedom of speech is increasingly precarious here and elsewhere around the world. More journalists were killed last year than ever before. Christians are dragged into court and face long, drawn-out legal battles lasting 5-10 years. Kristen Waggoner, chief counsel for the ADF, said the case is a "stark reminder of the rising tide of censorship on a global scale." Is the FBI (and the courts) increasingly weaponized and politicized, and how will this bode for the nation in future elections?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Most Severe Persecutions in the World
The most intense persecution in the world, the most dangerous place in the world for Christians, is Nigeria. We catch up with Judd Saul on the progress of the Village Security programs, support for widows, building refugee homes, and ministering to the least of these Jesus' brothers and sisters. If Jesus were here today, He would be ministering over there. Are you ready to help?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Why the Devil Wants Your Children
The Cuban government has claimed ownership of all the children and made it a crime for Christian families to tell their kids about Jesus. What's with that? Why do governments, the schools, the media, and demonic forces target our children? What should parents do if the government attempts to take their children away, force them into government schools, or kill them in the River Nile? What would you do?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Racism, Wokism, and Hatred on the Rise
Mass shootings have increased pretty substantially since the 1930s. As well, persecution of Christians has increased at least ten-fold around the world. Are the systemic encouragements to hatred and murder to blame, or does the individual take responsibility for hatred and acts of malicious violence? We take a quick look at Audrey Hale, who participated in the Nashville school murders, and her professed hatred for "white privilege." There are plenty of reasons and motives for hate and murder, but mostly it is the human heart that sources it all. Also, we provide five reasons for antisemitism, still alive and kicking on planet Earth.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Most Financially Prudent Nations
Using a biblical metric, we take a look at the most financially prudent nations and the most financially imprudent nations in the world. Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, the US, and the UK are right at the top as those nations that are most in debt to foreign nations. The most prudent nations are Iran, India, Pakistan, Russia, and China. The West is cruising for a bruising as defined by Deuteronomy 28—in a cursed state.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Ohio Sets the Direction for the Nation
After Kentucky, Kansas, and Montana, now the Ohio electorate has voted to kill babies at will. We compare the US Supreme Court decision in 1973 to the heart of the nation in 2023 (fifty years later). That leaves only 6-7% of America that is pro-life, and who would elect a pro-life Congress. America is pro-abortion. What will the churches do now? Will the pastors repent, and will repentance begin in the household of God? The future of the nation is in the balance now.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Extraordinary Woman, Extraordinary Grace
It's the American story of abuse, hypocrisy, and brokenness. And it's a story of healing, restoration, repentance, and reconciliation. Author and speaker Lee Ann Garfias shares her story as a homeschool graduate, and a homeschool mother herself. We make two mistakes. We believe that the ideal life is achievable, and then we consider ourselves a total failure when we fail to achieve it. This interview will encourage you if you are in the thick of it—raising children, nurturing a marital relationship, maintaining friendships, and trying to do ministry and hospitality. This program originally aired in 2016.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

All You Need Is Love, Love, Love
The Christian church has always respected the commandments of God, but the modern age has increasingly abandoned the commandments. Were the Beatles right? All you need is love? Or what about the guy who started by loving his neighbor and ended by loving his neighbor’s wife? Antinomian Christianity is deceptive. It allows for a slipshod way to define right and wrong . . . and a lot of left-wing Christians try to claim more gray area when it comes to issues like homosexuality and incest. They claim the ethic of love . . . and then approve of “gay love.” But what is the proper handling of the law, given Romans 6-8? Here is an in-depth analysis on the law of God. The Bad Everything EV Car
Data is finally emerging on EV cars. At $17.33 per equivalent gallon of gasoline to power these monsters, this thing has turned into an economic nightmare. Even the environmentalists are concerned that manufacturing and operating the vehicles runs at 2X the carbon than its gasoline counterpart. When really bad science, really bad politics, and bad economics gang up on us, this is what we end up with. But more fundamentally, the fool has said in his heart "There is no God," and there is no fear of God before their eyes. This is the problem with modern science and government, especially in Europe and North America.

Prison for Pro-lifers
While a 74-year-old pro-life grandmother faces 11 years for trespassing on the grounds of an abortion-killing center, BLM protesters get $80 million in compensation for their closing down highways and the $8 billion of damage done to businesses and buildings during 2020. What gives? Does the Bible allow for trespassing if somebody's getting killed over there? Rest assured that very little justice comes by government—but God brings every work into judgment according to the standards of His law. As Christians, we have a responsibility to advocate justice by the standard of God's law and mercy by the cross of Christ. That's a both-and.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Homeschooling Secularized and De-relationalized
Homeschooling growth provides some good things—more free market in education and release from the "matrix" for those who were forced into the monolithic public school model. But, new surveys are discovering a massive secularization of home education—a fall-off from 67% to 33% of homeschooling families committing to a faith. Also, homeschooling is morphing into online and the absence of relationship and parental involvement. The vision is disappearing.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Caring for Loved Ones with Alzheimer’s and Dementia
At least 5 million Americans have Dementia, and about 50% of our fathers and mothers will have the disease by the time they reach 90 years of age. As Christians, we can rest assured that God has a reason for this disease as it afflicts our loved ones. What is it like to experience Dementia? Do personalities change? Are there certain things that cause dementia . . . or hasten the onset of it? Here is a Christian view of a common affliction as provided by Dr. John Dunlop, author of the book, Finding Grace in the Face of Dementia.

Faithful Christians in the 20th Century
After reviewing the heroes in the city of man, we contrast the heroes of faith in the 20th century, of whom the world is not worthy. Kevin Swanson lists those who maintained a strong faith despite the massive apostasy that blew across England, America, and the West. They stood for the centrality of God against the centrality of man while humanism was on the rise. They are theologians, pastors, cultural leaders, creation science apologists, evangelists, and persecuted saints of the 20th century (and the 21st century).New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Angst Increasing Among Partisans
Almost half of Republicans and Democrats admit they would resort to violence to advance their agenda. Is the problem a slip in faith in democracy, or a wrong view of the state? What everybody has right is that there is something very wrong with the nation. It's the root cause and the antidote that folks are not getting right. The solutions to social challenges will only be found in a rebuild of family and church. The solution for the state is always reformation and regeneration, not revolution.

Political Shifts in Europe and UK
Hungary, Poland, and Russia are moving pro-life. But now, Western Europe is getting worse and worse. What gives? The UK labor party threatens two years in the quod for misgendering. But now, is J.K. Rowling repenting of advocating for the LGBT movement back in the early 2000s? She used to have a disagreement with Kevin Swanson over Dumbledore. We end the program with a discussion on how to speak of and speak to the transgender person working in your corporation. Do you misgender? Do you lose your job over it?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Oregon: Portrait of a Failed State
Oregon has become a portrait of what a spiritually-bankrupt, burned-out, post-Christian blue state looks like. It's the worst state in America on the Evil Index, and here's why. The school system has failed—it’s the worst in the nation. First state to legalize adult-killing, marijuana, etc. is losing residents fast now. Have the churches really demonstrated any substantial faith? Oregon needs a spiritual revival. The churches need to repent. The grassroots need faith. Should men of God stand up and shout down this abomination called socialism, liberalism, atheism, anti-Christian insanity? We say, “Yes.”New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Warnings of World War III Proliferate
Wars and rumors of wars are on the increase. For the year 2022, Uppsala University reports the highest number of wars in modern history (since World War II). Vulnerabilities and instabilities run higher than ever now. We present a little history on the root cause for the wars of the nations. But now . . . the lines are increasingly drawn between traditionalist countries that still have some sense of a social order . . . and the homosexualized nations of the world. The lines are increasingly drawn between East and West . . . and ironically, Israel is right in the middle between East and West. The lines are drawn between Post-Christian countries and the non-Christianized countries of the world. New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Endangered Virtues
Here we interview Michael Phillips, editor of George MacDonald's materials and the author of a new book called "Endangered Virtues and the Coming Ideological War." What are the basic virtues without which civilization is not possible? And how shall we then live in an age of immaturity, insobriety, escapism, relativism, fear, and abandoned rationality? Michael Phillips recommends disengaged engagement—what Jesus called salt that regains its saltiness.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

The Moral Confusion at Harvard
Man is always a moral creature, and yet what happens when Harvard University loses its moral compass? The compass is spinning out of control now, and nobody knows which woke is the wokest. Why was antisemitism a sin, and on what basis? What about abortion? What about anything that goes on in this world? The secular university has a really hard time answering those questions. Here we review the decline of American moral standards at the university, and the decline of the American academic performance. The average ACT steadily declined from 22.0 to 19.5 since 1970. Average math scores dropped from 22.0 to 19.0 over the same time period.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

America - Third Most Tattooed Nation
Italy, Sweden, and the US are the most tattooed nations on Earth. Now, 56% of women ages 18 to 29 and 53% of women ages 30 to 49 are tattooed in this country. The post-Christian nations went for it at the turn of the 21st century, while pagan nations went the other way. Cultural expression is the externalization of worldview. Generally, cultural phenomenon is an honest reflection of a person's real religion, or at least the expression of the predominating worldview. We look at the two most common reasons for tattooing—identity or identification and self-definition, and recommend Jesus' tattoo over all the others.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Nations Run by Kids and Socialist Women
Increasingly socialist nations are run by idealist young people and women . . . and women-led nations are almost exclusively Roman Catholic. Now, 55% of women in this country identify with socialism. But, not all women. Feminists find their security in the state. . . . They have given up on the biblical family . . . and marriage . . . and their hope is that the state will take care of them and their children, womb to tomb. What's needful now? Disciple the young men.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

The Toxic War on Masculinity
Men and manhood have been increasingly targeted by the zeitgeist. Evangelical Christian men are accused of being oppressive patriarchs and prone to abuse. Author and professor Nancy Pearcey dismisses the bad stereotypes and points out the internal contradictions in the anti-male worldview that predominates throughout the academic and social systems of the day.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Halloween and Horror on the Rise
The number of witches in the US increased from 8,000 in 1990 to 340,000 in 2008, and exceeded 1.5 million in 2020. Halloween expenditures in the US have doubled since 2007, and the horror genre in the movie theater has almost tripled in marketshare in 10 years. There are three worldviews that collide in these films—the sovereignty of God, the sovereignty of man, and the sovereignty of evil. The fear of God, the fear of man, and the fear of evil. . . . Guess who loses in the movie theater? We proclaim the true Gospel. Christ really did crush the head of the serpent! Death took the death blow at the cross and by His resurrection! God will judge evil, and God is to be feared. And Christians do not celebrate Halloween, and the Day of the Dead.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Why TV Is Corrupting Children
Streaming TV now runs a 95% to 5% ratio on mature to family friendly programming. Fifteen years ago, that was closer to a 45% to 55% ratio. Then again, social media is displacing everything now with its own destructive world and social view in mind. Christian families too often give way to the world and the devil when it comes to media. How do we overcome the world? We explain from Scripture.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

The Worst Atrocities of War
War inevitably introduces atrocities, and the foul nature of sinful man comes out in full color at times like this. Briefly, we look at atrocities from the US Civil War, World War II, and the present. We are to view these atrocities through a biblical lens, and of course apply Micah 6:8 at every point.

Worldviews on War
Here we summarize a basic worldview on war—the cause of war, the rules of warfare, assigning blame, and ways to avoid war. The best way to avoid war is Proverbs 16:7. When a man's ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. How might our leaders please the Lord?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Losing a Child at Columbine
Years ago, Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris called for "natural selection to take its course." That was what they put on their website, and then they killed 13 innocent students and staff at Columbine High School in the Denver Metro area. One father still feels the pain of it. Brian Rohrbaugh recounts that terrible day that he lost his son to the shooters, and what he learned from it. How do the schools open the door for physical violence and soul violence?

Gaping Hole in the Hull of Evangelicalism
Evangelicalism is coming apart on the question of repentance. Does following Jesus include leaving the world and the LGBT lifestyle? Does a sinner need to be repentant to be part of a church, or should the homosexual, the homosexual “married” guys, the pedophiles, and others feel comfortable joining the rest of the sinners sitting in the pews? Did Jesus draw lines or circles? What does the parent do when a young son or daughter comes “out of the closet?” Pray. Grieve. Call to repentance. Then, wait for the prodigal to come back home. Kevin Swanson and Adam McManus address Andy Stanley's October 1st sermon defending North Point Community Church's homosexual-affirming Unconditional Conference and Rev. Albert Mohler's two World Magazine columns entitled "The train is leaving the station: Andy Stanley's departure from Biblical Christianity" and "Go and sin no more: Andy Stanley doubles down on his departure from Biblical Christianity."New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Hamas Attack on Israel
Following the recent terrorist attack on Israel, we review the history of Palestinian wars. Worldwide, Islamic adherents grew by 700 million people in 23 years. Christian adherents flatlined since 2000. And Judaism dropped. The Islamic state is on the rise in the world. Iran. Afghanistan. Indonesia. Nigeria. Turkey. Palestine. Tensions with Iran are on the increase. Israel appears to be leaning secular. The West is "secularized." But which would you have? A "secular" state? A Jewish state? An Islamic state? Or a Christian state? Which Gospel would you prefer—the Gospel of Jihad or the Gospel of Jesus?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
