Wooden was a journalist at the time of the Guyana genocide and wrote extensively about the mass murder during 1978 and 1979. Like Meiers, Wooden is classified as a White Man. Last week, Wooden told us about Julie Ann Runnels, a 12-year-old black female who was stolen by Rev. Jim Jones. When her black "relatives" saw her after a long period of the child being in the Peoples Temple, Runnels was without shoes, wearing soiled rags. She died in Jonestown. Gus pinpointed that the title of chapter 7, "The Paralysis and Failure of Government," is highly inaccurate. White government officials in Guyana and the US had the ability to move to action against the Peoples Temple and Rev. Jones. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Ikpanwosa Ero live from Canada. Born in Nigeria, is classified as a black female with the condition of albinism. This genetic mutation results in melanin deficiency and phenotypical characteristics often associated with people classified as White - pale skin and hair. Ero is an attorney by training and the first United Nations Independent Expert on the enjoyment of human rights by persons with albinism. Gus was literally front row to hear her speak earlier this year at the University of Washington. She detailed the importance of words and even shared an anecdote about her being accused of wielding “white privilege” because of her melanin deficiency. International Albinism Awareness Day was just last month, so we'll ask how she advocated on that day. Much of the US is currently sweltering under extreme heat waves - jeopardizing the health and safety of many workers who labor outdoors. Self-Respect may mean speaking up for water breaks and other lifesaving counter-measures to contend with hazardous heat. We also discuss the practice of non-white people being scammed out of our time and energy when we enroll in for-profit colleges, cosmetology school or any number of endeavors that promise career advancement. Jim Jones' scam of the Social Security Administration. Jones and his White entourage developed sophisticated studies of which black members were eligible for retirement, pension, Supplementary Security Income (SSI) or any other coins. Then, they set about strategically stripping them of every nickle. Wooden told us Rev. Jones would then give his mostly black worshipers $2 "allowance" per week. Jones would subsequently eyeball them to make sure they donated their measly $2 back to the Temple. Significantly, Wooden himself highlighted that to Jones, looting the piggy banks of his largely indigent congregation members was second to the control of his people's thought, speech, actions and emotions. Then this week, TWO different White couples were arrested for terrorizing their adopted children. In West Virginia, a White couple was shackled and accused of forcing their abducted black children to "work live slaves" while living in a "shed." Further north in Ohio, a different White couple was arrested and charged with storing their adopted children in a "dungeon" and treating them "worse than prisoners of war." This is exactly what child psychiatrist Dr. Frances Cress Welsing meant when she created the concept: #ThrowAwayChildren Pitiful and confused black people should at least be able to cobble together a code to guarantee that no black boy or black girl is thrown in the rubbish ben of foster care for the easy access of child raping White abductors. The C.O.W.S. Neutralizing Workplace Racism 06/28/24. The first presidential debate of 2024 included spirited discussion about black workers and which administration is most responsive to their needs. Former Pres. Donald J. Trump accused Pres. Joe Biden of allowing "illegal immigrants" to invade the borders and swipe jobs from black citizens specifically. Gus T. wondered why the so-called border hoppers are exclusively targeting the employment of people classified as black. Shouldn't White people be concerned about these alleged criminal job poachers? We also discuss the case of Dr. Brandon Mines, privileged black male, used to be the only black male employed as head doctor for NFL franchise. But Dr. Mines was fired for alleged incompetence. He's now suing the NFL and Emory University alleging that they promoted his White colleagues while ignoring him and retaliated against him when he questioned his alleged mistreatment. Jones' personal library was half filled with works on the father of the 3rd Reich, Adolf Hitler. Jones apparently studied the science of brainwashing and owned material on de-programming former cult members. Like a typical Race-Soldier, Wooden suggests that Jones' chief inspiration and criminal teacher was Philadelphia's Father Divine. Meiers ignores Jones' efforts to steal Father Divine's congregation and his buzzard-like attempts to get Divine's White widow, Edna Rose Ritchings, to endorse the Peoples Temple. Wooden also ignores the influence of Jones' travels to Cuba and South America - where he was suspected of working for the CIA - before relocating his Indiana flock to California. We also learned more about the members of the Temple - including lots of illiterate, poor, highly vulnerable black people. Census records indicate the town is 60% black, and the store, The Mad Butcher, is the only shopping center in town. Suspected Racist Travis Posey reportedly shot 13 people in total, killing three. At least two of the people killed is classified as White. Gus thought it was significant that this Terrorist attack happened on June 21st, the day after the solstice. The 2015 White Terrorist attack in Charleston, South Carolina happened on June 17. Just like the White gunmen in Buffalo and Charleston, Posey was captured alive - even though he shot Arkansas enforcement officers. The C.O.W.S. Neutralizing Workplace Racism 06/21/24. A C.O.W.S. investor informed Gus about a Florida teacher who might lose her teaching license as a result of wearing a face mask with a "black lives matter" slogan. For years, Gus T. has vigorously discouraged wearing any sort of paraphernalia or clothing branded with political messaging. It's a presidential election year, so expect an abundance of rhetoric and verbal sparring over candidates. Do not participate in these conversations on the job. Even if all of your co-workers are classified as black, it's not logical to assume that all of your black colleagues support "black lives matter" or any other political ideology or slogan. Your clothing/attire should not attract unnecessary attention or distract from your primary workplace objective: making as much money as possible while learning everything that is constructive. Also relating to clothing in the workplace, hours before this segment aired live, a White Man shot 14 people in Fordyce, Arkansas - a town of just over 3,000. 3 people were killed. The incident reminded Gus T. of the 2022 TOPS Buffalo massacre, were black employees lost their shoes escaping a White gunman. In the event of an earthquake or White Terrorist attack, workplace footwear/clothing should not hamper your ability to save your life. This week is Juneteenth, and that should also be irrelevant to your workplace attire and performance. Jones utilized a team of White lawyers to study child welfare and guardianship laws. This way he was able to skillfully utilize esoteric aspects of child law to abuse and kidnap with impunity. Horrifically similar to the Racist Hart Women we read about earlier this year, Jim Jones worked to maintain distance and seclusion so that few eyes would have access to what happened to the children of the Peoples Temple. This included the skillful use of words to avoid court appearances, where prying eyes may see something odd that requires asking questions. While Rev. Jones sipped cognac and ate high on the hog, the children of Jonestown ate rice loaded with maggots and castoff powdered milk. Mark Adams Prieto reportedly wanted to kill as many black people as possible and to ignite a "race war" during the midst of a bitterly contested US presidential election. This is right on time for "Juneteenth," which allegedly celebrates negro liberation and the end of plantation slavery. Speaking of liberation, right in Gus T.'s beloved King County, Washington, a 17-teen-year-old non-white teen was shot 7(!) times in a parking lot while attempting to return a defective air-soft gun. A White civilian saw the non-white teen and his two friends, immediately assumed they were there to rape and pillage, and commenced shooting to kill. Much like privileged black males Tamir Rice and John Crawford III, the King County teen had a toy gun. We also make time to acknowledge that June 13th is International Albinism Awareness Day - which highlights how this genetic mutation impacts the safety and quality of life for thousands of melanin deficient people. In Canada, Reuters reports the "United Nations human rights body had launched a 'Special Review' of the accreditation of the Canadian Human Rights Commission." Black employees of Canada's human rights commission allege that they are Victims of Racism by their allegedly humanitarian employees. The charges jeopardize "the commission's ability to participate in U.N. human rights proceedings." It’s not even summer official, yet some regions are already enacting codes for extreme heat emergencies - which disproportionately impact non-white people. Days removed from his “hush money” conviction in New York, former President Donald J. Trump is reported have raked in tens of millions of dollars in support of his presidential campaign. Gus T.’s conviction is steadfast that Mr. Trump will return to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. In Europe, football champion and Victim of White Supremacy Vinicius Jr. has transmogrified from just another abused “black boy” (moleque) in European soccer, to the most dominant player in the world - evidenced by him just this week guiding Spain’s Real Madrid to a dominant victory in the Champions League. Gus T. rose at 7am Pacific Daylight Time this Friday morning to catch Cornell University's "Heroes and Hoteliers" presentation with black male scholars Calvin Stovall and Victor Younger. They discussed the fascinating history of black hotel owners and innovators - which even included black female entrepreneur Rebecca Howard right in here in Gus's Washington state. During the dialog, the black scholars disclosed that people classified as black constitute over 17% of the hospitality industry. However, black people represent 0.7% of the CEO positions in the hotel industry. #YIKES A whopping 2% of US hotels are owned by black people. The "Heroes and Hoteliers" dialog shared a wealth of great information - and a few metaphors to avoid directly addressing the System of White Supremacy. We also hear great illustrations of why non-white people should never expect courtesy or comradery from other non-white people in the workplace. Nor should we openly discuss our offspring with our fellow employees. Racist Suspects are not concerned about the well being of dark people - large or small, young or old. The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 15th & final study session on Michael Meiers' Was Jonestown a CIA Medical Experiment. This genocide has countless parallels to our recent literary selections - Columbine, Michael Swango, and The Hart murder-suicide. The Rev. Jim Jones, a White man born in a Racially Restricted Region of Indiana, took a thousand people from California to Guyana. On November 18th, 1978, Jones killed nearly all 1,000 of his mostly black followers and orchestrated the assassination of Con. Leo Ryan. Some were shot, but most were poisoned with cyanide, just like "Double-0 Swango." For nearly 50 years, this event has been mostly understood as a bunch of brainwashed blacks following a White charlatan to their demise. Meiers' work suggests something more nefarious. Last week, we heard further analysis of the litany of books published in the immediate days and weeks following the Guyana holocaust. None of these books were authored by black people. Meiers stresses that most of these books fail to mention the connections between Jonestown and the CIA - or the CIA activities in South America at large during this same period. He still recommends reading and scrutinizing these books for details that reveal truth. White female journalist Mae Brussell took the same view on this topic. Gus was surprised to hear Meiers' theory that Mark Lane and Jonestown were used to distract from the 1978 House Select Committee on Assassinations, which was investigating the murders of President John F. Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Mark Lane had written books and publicly suggested that a government conspiracy was involved in these assassinations. He was slated to speak at the congressional inquiry when Jonestown intruded. It's alleged that Lane knew that Jones planned to murder everyone, yet did nothing to alert authorities or prevent the massacre. He profited financially from representing the Peoples Temple and shacked up with "former" member Terri Buford for years. And he was lambasted in the press as an untrustworthy crackpot and likely Jones lackey who aided in the genocide. The University of Washington celebrated sociologist and Associate Professor Dr. LaShawnDa L. Pittman 2023 publication, Grandmothering While Black: A Twenty-First-Century Story of Love, Coercion, and Survival. A listener alerted Gus about this book when it was first published. Gus reminded them of The C.O.W.S.'s #WhiteGuestOnly policy. However, we did hear from Dr. Pittman earlier this year during the celebration of Dorothy Roberts's years of superb attempted counter-racist scholarship. Dr. Pittman was a part of a panel discussion that included Professor Roberts - the audio is in the archives. Gus saw advertisements for the coming celebration for the paperback publication of Dr. Pittman's important work on black grandmothers who serve as the primary caregiver for the their black grandchildren. She details the numerous ways the System of White Supremacy "coerces" these grandmothers into becoming guardians - even though they lack the legal status as a "parent." This talk featured 2 Suspected Racists alongside Dr. Pittman, and it would have been three, but one White female called out sick. The Gus felt the usual black misandry of the academy. However, Dr. Pittman twice made time to personally acknowledge and thank Gus for attending. This infamous mass murder has countless parallels to our recent literary selections - Columbine, Michael Swango, and The Hart murder-suicide. The Rev. Jim Jones, a White man born in a Racially Restricted Region of Indiana, took a thousand people from California to Guyana, South America. On November 18th, 1978, Jones killed nearly 1,000 of his mostly black followers and orchestrated the assassination of Congressman Leo Ryan. Some were shot, but most were poisoned with cyanide, just like "Double-0 Swango." For nearly half a century, this event has been conventionally understood as a bunch of brainwashed black loons following a White charlatan to their demise in the jungle. Meiers' work suggests something far more nefarious. Last week, listened to the report "death tape" where "father" encouraged hundreds of black people and black babies to "die with dignity." Meiers emphasizes that the original body county from this massacre was a just over 400. He submits that a more credible theory than what we've been told - an additional 500 corpses were obscured by the 400 bodies on top, is that survivors were located and executed over the days after Nov 19th. Professor Marc Arsell Robinson, author of Washington State Rising: Black Power on Campus in the Pacific Northwest, was the featured speaker at Seattle's Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI). The University of Washington's Simpson Center for the Humanities sponsored and promoted the event under the title: "Black Power and Solidarity on Campus and Beyond, the Denny Lecture." Most of the people in attendance were classified as White. Professor Robinson, black male, provided a wealth of constructive information on the counter-racist efforts of Seattle's black college students in the late 1960's. He made sure to include the COINTELPRO snooping that the FBI conducted on the UW's Black Student Union as soon as the group came into existence - which was in 1968. Robinson emphasized that the founding BSU members reached out to and stressed the importance of non-black, non-white students. Gus asked and received no information about non-white, non-black students making a similar effort to reach out to black students. The University of Washington hosts Linh Thủy Nguyễn, non-white female, to discuss her brand new book, Displacing Kinship: The Intimacies of Intergenerational Trauma in Vietnamese American Cultural Production. Gus T. caught a flier for this event, but was more intrigued after investigating Professor Nguyễn's earlier report: “Loving Couples and Families:” Assimilation as Honorary Whiteness and the Making of the Vietnamese Refugee Family. In this 2021 exploration, Nguyễn acknowledges how non-white people born in Vietnam and non-white people classified as Asian at large are positioned in opposition to and apart from non-white people classified as black. Gus felt this was important to acknowledge since there's a frequent assumption that all non-white people are working together to solve The Problem. Her book is based on her research of black females and White Men who engage in sexual activity with each other. A student of Neely Fuller Jr., Tate vehemently supports the counter-racist logic of non-white people abstaining from sexual activity with individuals classified as White. Tragically, recent events reveal what can happen when young black boys and girls look for "fairy tails" and "love" from White people. Just last month, 19-year-old Sade Robinson was murdered and dismembered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - Dahmer-Land. In Missouri, Suspected Racist Timothy Haslett Jr. is on trial for sexually terrorizing black people in the Kansas City area. Neutralizing Workplace Racism 05/10/24 Our beloved "Tumblin' Dice," a privileged black male who's allowed to operate a school bus transporting mostly White children, shared that he has now been charged with unprofessional conduct and terrorizing a White educator. It seems that a black dude questioning a White person about White educators Racially abusing him constitutes a threat - and may portend negro sexual aggression. We'll also revisit allegations of reckless and unsafe workplace culture at Boeing. Last week, we discussed the legal import of the term "whistleblower." This term confers legal protections to a worker who reports misconduct or criminal activity. Theoretically, without the the threat of unjust reprisals, workers will be less fearful about reporting misconduct. However, two White Boeing whistleblowers (Joshua Dean; John Barnett) have died under suspicious circumstances. Gus T. has said for years, the plantation is not safe. We recognize the passing of Minnesota's Sammy McDowell, a privileged black male who died suddenly at the age of 48 after years of attempted counter-racism and White Supremacist abuse. The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 10th study session on Michael Meiers' Was Jonestown a CIA Medical Experiment. This infamous mass murder has countless parallels to our recent literary selections - Columbine, Michael Swango, and The Hart murder-suicide. The Rev. Jim Jones, a White man born in a Racially Restricted Region of Indiana, took a thousand people from California to Guyana, South America. On November 18th, 1978, Jones killed nearly all 1,000 of his mostly black followers and orchestrated the assassination of Congressman Leo Ryan. Some were shot, but most were poisoned with cyanide, just like "Double-0 Swango." For nearly 100 years, this event described as a bunch of brainwashed black loons following a White charlatan to their death in the jungle. Meiers' work suggests something far more nefarious. Last week, Meiers detailed the assassinations of Mayor George Moscone and Supervisor Harvey Milk - both classified as White. The White male assassin, Dan White, was branded an "all-American" - which basically means White, and received way more sympathy than all of the hundreds of murdered black Jonestown survivors combined. White employed the "Twinkie Defense," alleging that after binging on junk food the evening of November 26th, a sugar stupor the following day caused him to mindlessly slaughter two White elected officials using hollow point bullets. He reloaded between the murders - and waved to future mayor Dianne Feinstein. White gays rioted in San Francisco to display their outrage over the lenient sentence White received - when he could have landed the death penalty. Meiers suggests that Jones was motivated to kill Mayor Moscone because he knew about the Peoples Temple's crimes and might snitch to investigators of the Guyana carnage. The prosecuting attorney, Joseph Freitas, was roundly criticized for his efforts and subjected to daily reminders and suspicion that he deliberately botched the 1976 investigation of voter fraud involving the Peoples Temple (and Mayor Moscone). Listeners and Gus T. think Meiers failed to present sufficient evidence of Jones' involvement in the murders and/or his motivation to kill these 2 White Men. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes the return of Cameron McWhirter, Racist Suspect. An author and reporter for The Wall Street Journal, McWhirter is a White man and Atlanta, Georgia resident. He covers politics and US news for the WSJ. McWhirter visited The C.O.W.S. back in 2011 to discuss his book Red Summer: The Summer of 1919 & the Awakening of Black America. This work examines the myriad of terrorist attacks against black people across the US and how this terrorist start to the 20th century birthed a number of attempted counter-racist organizations. The great Carter G. Woodson was nearly killed by a Racist White mob in the nation’s capitol during this macabre 1919 White pogrom. In 2023, McWhirter teamed up with Zusha Elision to write American Gun: The True Story of The AR-15. The book provides details on Eugene Stoner’s iconic black rifle that changed military and world history. This book mentions so many familiar, tragic events and people in the history of White Supremacy: the Columbine massacre of 1999; the Buffalo, New York TOPS massacre of 2022; the Uvalde school slaughter of 2022; the 2017 Las Vegas music festival slaughter; the 2020 Wisconsin protests where Kyle Rittenhouse killed two White people and wounded another. All these abominable events - except Columbine - involved the firearm of our times, Stoner's AR-15/M16 assault rifle. Gus is curious why there are no pictures of non-white people in this text and why McWhirter and his co-author mostly provide extra details about shooting victims who are classified as White. We learn lots of extra tidbits about a German White Woman who survived the Vegas carnage and the White parents who lost a child at Sandy Hook. American Gun provides no insight to the anguish the AR-15 has wreaked on the family and friends of Katherine Massey and the other TOPS victims or the non-white parents in Uvalde. When asked about this discrepancy, McWhirter highlighted the book went to publishing prior to Gendron's conviction and shortly after the 2022 massacres in Uvalde and Buffalo - which limited their access to information about these still developing cases. Neutralizing Workplace Racism 04/26/24 Hilbert Hagedoorn reports EKWB, "a company known for its cooling solutions and custom-built PCs," is alleged to have operated a Texas office with a hostile workplace environment rife with White Supremacy/Racism. Reports allege "non-white" workers used the n-word to brand numerous black mechanical parts needed for air conditioning units. Additionally, black workers claim they were forced to work unpaid overtime hours. The reverend grew so powerful, when Whites investigated the 1975 mayoral election for voter fraud, he had Temple crony Tim Stoen hired by District Attorney Joseph Freitas - also a Jones lackey - to help conceal truth about the electoral malfeasance. Surprisingly, they found no wrong doing, but, shockingly, all records of the voters for the 1975 mayoral elections have vanished. Along with rigging elections, many journalists and Bay Area citizens thought The Peoples Temple was connected to the 1978 assassinations of Mayor Mascone and Harvey Milk. Isaiah Shoels and Kyle Velasquez, two non-white students, were among those killed and being remembered a quarter century later. Thirty years ago yesterday, Race Soldier Timothy McVeigh bombed an Oklahoma City Federal Building, killing over 200 people. McVeigh was motivated by White Supremacy/Racism and his slaughter briefly interrupted the 1995 murder trial of dearly departed OJ Simpson and motivated the Columbine bombing four years later. We also heard an update on the Wisconsin butchering of 19-year-old Sade Robinson. Authorities are still locating and searching for her remains throughout the Milwaukee region. Further east in Ohio, Loletha Hall, a 61-year-old delivery driver, was shot and killed by an 81-year-old Racist Suspect. Shot with cyanide bullets in November of 1973 (5 years before the November 1978 Jonestown massacre), the Symboinese Liberation Army (SLA) claimed credit for the slaughter and proceeded to kidnap Patricia Hearst, White daughter of publishing titan Randolph Hearst. Meiers suggests that the SLA was a CIA creation and their harebrained kidnapping may have been an elaborate distraction to keep North Americans from paying more attention to the concurrent COINTELPRO and Watergate scandals involving state-sanctioned corruption. Meiers also suggests Rev. Research Project Manager at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine, Dr. Burdick examines reproductive justice, rhetoric and Racism/White Supremacy. She and WNBA number one draft pick Caitlin Clark are White Women and University of Iowa alumni. Gus found her 2024 report, “Let’s Make the Womb Safe Again”: Ethnographic Explorations of White Evangelical Women’s Language of Reproductive Injustice. This recent publication examines how White Women skillfully use words to shape reproductive policy. However, Gus was able to research further and located Dr. Burdick’s 2023 dissertation, Spectacular Surveillance: Gender, White Christian Nationalism, and Evangelical Women in the Pro-Life Movement. This is a far more comprehensive treatment of the history and evolution of White Women’s Work to shape thinking about and legal restrictions regarding sexual behavior and production of offspring. Dr. Burdick submits that White Women have been the foundation of the White evangelical-backed opposition to abortion. Their "pro-life" rhetoric consciously and subconsciously reifies that White Lives. Matter. In fact, they support the System of White Supremacy while employing Racial Showcasing to deceptively portray themselves as being in support of all human life and Justice. A professor and Waterloo Chair in Social and Political Philosophy of Language, Dr. Saul’s area’s of interest include: “Racist and sexist language, diversifying academia, implicit bias, pragmatics, deception.” Gus found her 2023 publication, Dogwhistles and Figleaves: How Manipulative Language Spreads Racism and Falsehood, while searching for recent publications. Students of the late Dr. Frances Cress Welsing should pay particular attention to the title of this book. In The Isis Papers: Keys to the Colors, Dr. Welsing provides invaluable analysis about the importance of figleaves and dogs in the Culture/System of White Supremacy/Racism. His family reported the Heisman trophy winner, NFL legend and film star - he was in Roots - had been battling cancer for some time. Simpson is most remembered for his arrest and eventual acquittal for the double murder of his White ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and restaurant worker Ronald Goldman. The fact that so many people think Simpson committed murder is a testament to the dexterity and lethality of White Deception. And the fact that many non-white people/Victims of Racism do not read or research much of anything. Speaking of butchers, 19-year-old Sade Robinson, a black female, was found dismembered, with her remains scattered about Milwaukee county, Wisconsin. White employers still reject large numbers of applicants with names commonly associated with black people. Leroy and Lakeisha were two of the names used to suggest that the job seeker was classified as black. Interestingly, the report made no mention of the same sort of impact for people with non-black, non-white sounding names. We also discuss the tremendous increase in young workers entering the trade industry as opposed accruing 4 years of debt and the shaky job prospects of a college degree. We learn a teaspoon about the history of tipping wait staff - which is directly connected to the System of White Supremacy. Female workers in jurisdictions with reduced minimum wage for tipped workers are more likely to be subjected to sexual abuse on the job. The deaths of people like Maxine Harpe and Chris Lewis are often omitted from the standard narratives of Jonestown. Meiers suggests that Jones used his considerable political might in Mendocino County - which included PT members having local government jobs and Rev Jones' own employment as a school teacher and foreman on the Mendocino Co. jury - to squash unfavorably publicity and/or formal investigations of the temple. Gus denounced Meiers for mentioning the murder of 22-year-old Rory Hithe by PT member Chris Lewis, but failing to include that both black males were members of the Black Panther Party. In fact, Hithe was previously convicted for his involvement in the murder of Alex Rackley, who was reportedly accused of being an "agent" sent to spy on the Panthers. Hithe was released early for "excellent behavior." Lewis was found not guilty for killing Hithe, only to be murdered himself years later. Gus and listeners think Meiers fails to provide sufficient evidence and/or motivation for Rev.
