The years' long deficit of air traffic controllers is already being blamed for potential holiday log jams for "christmas" fliers. And just this week NPR detailed how the lack of special education teachers makes the job more dangerous for students and staff. The peanuts/low wages offered for this grueling work also makes this job vulnerable to high turnover and shortages. Again, with White Genetic Annihilation and the aging White population, the staffing problems will not improve any time soon. We also revisit black people being accused of workplace theft. The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 8th study session on Andrée Blouin's My Country, Africa: Autobiography of the Black Pasionaria. A pivotal figure in the history of counter-racism/anti-colonialism throughout the continent of Africa, Blouin is not as well known as South Africa's Madiba and Winnie Mandela, Kenya's Maus Maus and other freedom fighters who participated in combating White Terrorism in Africa. However, Blouin was of monumental importance and, consequently, a target of CIA/White Supremacy campaigns. Gus T. was ignorant about Ms. Blouin, but she was prominently featured in the new documentary, Soundtrack to a Coup d'État - which examines the assassination of Patrice Lumumba. The film makes time to quote from Blouin's autobiography about the efforts to assassinate she, her family and Lumumba. Gus paused the book club while gallivanting in the Golden State, but used his time in sunshine and information-rich California to gather data on the life and work of Ms. Blouin as well. After spending over a month in the "Golden State," Gus T. debriefs on his California Counter-Racist Sojourn. We hear details on Gus' November 18 visit to Evergreen Cemetery in Oakland, the mass burial cite for the Victims of the Jonestown slaughter. Gus spoke with relatives of those who were killed in Guyana and was able to ask a group of these black people if they thought Rev. Jim Jones was a Racist. Gus also details the experience of visiting the special collections libraries at Stanford University and the University of California at Berkeley. Gus did not encounter any black librarian employed with special collections at any of these California libraries he visited. White professors like Dr. Phil Zimbardo, who conducted the infamous Stanford prison study, has massive boxes of files on the Peoples Temple and Jim Jones - including years of interviews he conducted with survivors of the Guyana slaughter. Dr. Zimbardo taught his White Stanford students about Jonestown in connection to Nazi Germany. Phillipi's act of domestic terrorism reminded Gus of the December 2020 attack in Nashville where a White Man, Anthony Quinn Warner, detonated an improvised explosive device days before White Jesus' birthday. Regardless of the outcome, the code remains: No Politics on the job - especially during election week. We hear how non-white people navigated this week - including minimizing conflict and verbal squabbles with other non-white coworkers. In fact, Gus added that he would not be interested in commiserating and weeping about the pending Trump sequel at the White House. Stick to your paid job description - which invariably does not include weekly political commentary. Sadly, we heard from non-white listeners that Victims of Racism used the election as justification for sending crass, Racist gifs to other non-white people. Some went further and shared unprofessional content with colleagues even though they've never exchanged views about politics. The Context of White Supremacy hosts live election night coverage of the tussle for the White House. Gus predicted the return of Donald J. Trump, but VP Kamala Harris may surprise Gus. We'll see if non-white listeners voted or if folks have read anything about violence related to the election in their part of the world. During the course of the broadcast, we learned that Florida rejected recreational cannabis. Governor Ron Desantis beamed with pride. Gus attempted to avoid the hoopla of the day by hiding out at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Their 7 floors of paintings, sculptures and photographs includes dozens of works that deal directly with the System of White Supremacy. Gus was especially impressed with the brilliance of Ernie Barnes and Robert Colescott - two black male painters. However, Gus was stunned to learn that SFMOMA is an election voting center - probably because of its central location easy access. With the US presidential heading to a climax, VP Kamala Harris detailed plans for boosting the finances of black dudes, too late for Dennoriss Richardson, and even made time to hang out with Fox News. We also heard a fascinating investigation into the motivating factors for teens utilize vaping products. During President Obama's first time and first year in office, Ledbetter stood with the former president as federal legislation was passed to help White Women close the so-called gender pay gap. Meanwhile, non-while males and non-white females continue to lag behind the wages of White Men and White Women. We're over half done with the month of October, which means next month's presidential elections is closing. The response to the storm became a contested talking point for the US presidential election. President Obama joined the campaign trail to chastise black males for lacking enthusiasm for VP Kamala Harris. Gus can't recall any candidate exclusively chastising the political views of White Women, White Men, Black females or other group. Most White people did not vote for Obama in 2008 or 2012, but no former president excoriated them for their Racist rejection of a non-white person with a White parent. We also discuss this suspicious death of Dennoriss Richardson, who was found hanging from a rope at an abandoned Alabama property. Tens of thousands of dockworkers in the US went on strike this week for better compensation and, importantly, prohibitions against automated technology. Some of the dockworkers took issue with even the use of automated gate at one of the shipping facilities. Apparently, automation or not, the US ports operate at one of the slowest rates in the known universe. Last week, a postal worker was attacked in a dispute over political paraphernalia for the coming presidential election. The United States Post Office made a warning about potential staffing and service problems as the November election nears. A White Woman and resident of Saratoga Springs, New York #RaciallyRestrictedRegion, Ms. Godine is an author, educator, and independent researcher and journalist. She’s written a number of fiction and non-fiction works and even “taught literature to undergraduates and literature again to incarcerated college students in upstate New York.” Gus found her 2023 publication, The Black Woods: Pursuing Racial Justice on the Adirondack Frontier, around the same time National Public Radio aired a segment about a summer camp that transports non-white children from the city to the Adirondacks to experience nature, wildlife, and the absence of cellphones. Godine’s work examines Suspected Racist Gerrit Smith, who “gifted” land to black people during the middle 1800’s - prior to the Civil War. The legendary swell White dude John Brown allegedly hung out briefly in “Timbuctoo,” the beloved name for the settlement which may actually be a Racist Joke. Approximately 3,000 black people took Smith up on his offer, substantially less than he hoped, and the meager negro population was mostly erased from memory. Although, a number of White residents affectionately remember this region as: “Nigger Hills, Nigger Brooks, and Nigger Points.” This area is now a renown Racially Restricted Region/Sundown Town with VERY few people classified as black. The horrors began when his White coworker/roommate asked if he wanted to get drunk and attend a shindig. While bickering about negro dognappers, parts of Kentucky are on lock down as Joseph A Couch, a White man suspected of shooting 5 people on the interstate last weekend, remains loose. Some schools and even nature trails in the bluegrass region were closed. In Tennessee, the black officers charged for the police killing of Tyre Nichols began trial. In North Carolina, privileged black male Javion McGee was found dead with a rope around his neck tied to a tree. The black sheriff Curtis R. Brame has stated repeatedly and with complete certainty that this is not a lynching and they have no evidence of "foul play." Entertainment legend James Earl Jones died this week at the age of 93. This week, The Wall Street Journal reported that a new problem facing employees is a growing number of "fake candidates." In this context, "fake" means workers who present impressive résumés and complete competent Zoom interviews, yet lack the rudimentary skills of the job. WSJ did not provide information on the racial classification of the deceptive candidates. However, it's a common Racist cliché that black and non-white employees have to be overqualified to be hired - and sometimes, being overqualified is used as justification for not hiring black people. Gus doubts that hoards of black applicants with phony credentials are being hired to goldbrick and scam their new White employers. We also hear from a number of non-white people where sexual activity amongst coworkers is being encouraged or sought out. Generally, "dating" on the job does not result in promotions, raises or an increase in correct activity and "good feeling" amongst colleagues. In fact, workplace gossip has been known to commence in accordance with these so-called "office romances." We also hear from a non-white worker who was on a business trip, and suffered the horror of having to share a hotel room with a White co-worker. A professor in the University of Georgia’s department of psychology, Dr. Skinner-Dorkenoo examines the psychology of “bias” and “prejudice” and how this thinking can be undone. Gus was intrigued when hearing about her report investigating White attitudes about Covid-19 once the racial disparities of the virus's spread were highlighted. White support of social distancing, masks and staying home drastically waned as did their overall fear of the coronavirus. We’ll also discuss a related study which examines the medical notion of “race correction,” where White medical officials make decisions about treatments and diagnoses that vary according to the racial classification of the patient. These “corrections” mean black people receive less pain medication and organ transplants, and are considered intellectually inferior as it relates to their White counterparts. Dr. Skinner told us none of these "corrections" harm White patients. It seems to Gus what undergirds all of these problems is White people’s collective dedication to the practice of White Supremacy/Racism. Now that tackle football season has begun, Gus T. strongly recommends that non-white people avoid discussing the gridiron or any other sporting activities in the workplace. Not even Caitlin Clark. Again, work-related subject matter should be the focus of conversation. Additionally, Racists frequently associate non-white people with athletic activities that require no cognitive abilities. I've never heard of a non-white person getting a promotion or raise because of they're unwavering support of the New York Yankees or Washington Redskins. In fact, some work environments forbid athletic paraphernalia because it can promote workplace conflict (even fisticuffs). The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 7th study session on The Zebra Murders: A Season of Killing, Racial Madness and Civil Rights. Authored by Bennett Cohen, Racist Suspect. Prentice Sanders is classified as a black male and is credited with serving almost 40 full years with the San Francisco Police Department. Last week, we learned about the massive dragnets for any and all black males during the early spring of 1974. One black officer was quoted as saying: "8 to 80, blind, crippled or crazy," they were classified as a black male, they were stopped by police. Perhaps, stopped repeatedly. Black male police officers were stopped and searched. Black male teachers were stopped and searched. The author said unless you were the 7 foot center for the Los Angeles Lakers, you were subject to being stopped. Gus T. found this hilarious because the Lakers center in 1975 was black Muslim, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Authorities rumored that the Nation of Islam was responsible for these killings, so the Hall of Fame big man probably would have been shackled or tasered (or both). Importantly, Cohen tells us that SFPD officers concocted the new sketches for the suspected killer. No officer witnessed the killings, and they confessed that although the drawings were supposed to be of a single black male, they accepted that many people thought they were sketches of two different black people. Earlier this week, an irregular C.O.W.S. listener emailed Gus to say that Suspected Racists have targeted and terrorized him for a number of years. He thinks the root of this targeting is related to his White co-workers observing him listening to Neely Fuller Jr. on the job. Things seemed to devolve drastically from this point. Again, Gus T. strongly emphasizes that non-white people exercise maximum discretion in the workplace. Meaning, non-white workers should not openly brandish books, newspapers, written material, CDs, movies, websites, ebooks, or any other material unrelated to your job. This murder case reportedly involved random White people being killed by random black dudes. These killings took place at the same time that both the Black Panther Party and the nefarious Symbionese Liberation Army were in operation in the Bay Area. In addition to these infamous social clubs, Rev. Jim Jones and the Peoples Temple were well established in San Francisco's Fillmore district by 1973. In fact, Jones talked to his mostly black congregation about these homicides. After one week of study, Gus concluded that the White author, Cohen, is the primary hand writing this book. Mr. Sanders probably retold his life and times to this White Man, but had no authority in constructing how this book was written. Gus could be wrong. Last week, we learned that the Muslim mosque frequented by several of the black males suspected of being involved in the killings is on the same street at the Peoples Temple. Right next door actually. On January 28, 1974, the "zebra murders" resumed and intensified with 5 White people shot in one night. SFPD began "stopping and frisking" random black males, and USC star and eventual 4-time Super Bowl champion Lynn Swann and his 3 black males friends were assaulted, insulted and arrested. A graduate of Ohio State University's school of economics, Wishart is a White Man who studied with and worked as a research assistant for Dr. Trevon D. Logan and may have had his own Olympic dreams of taking a medal in the long jump or hurdles. Dr. Logan is a privileged black male and esteemed economics professor at OSU. We’ll discuss their working paper documenting the role of White Women in the sale and purchase of black slaves in New Orleans. Dr. Logan and Mr. Wishart build on the scholarship of Stephanie Jones-Rogers and her seminal work, They Were Here Property: White Women and the Economy of American Slavery. The new report emphasizes that White Women’s economic independence was directly tied to their investment in the Plantation System of White Supremacy. The dat suggests that in some regions, White Women were more involved in the trading of niggras than White Men. Importantly, Gus and listeners were surprised to learn that Mr. Wishart's name is printed first on this report. Dr Logan is a published black instructor with a doctorate degree. The 2024 Olympic Games just concluded, and despite the Australian break-dancing sensation and the unparalleled domination of Simone "GOAT" Biles, there were a number of reports about numerous athletes - even in the US, working side jobs and posting semi-nude photos of themselves to fund their Olympic dreams. Hip-hop great Flavor Flav heard the tales of financial woe and sponsored the Women's Water Polo squad, and NPR discussed how some athletes who score a medal are required to pay hefty taxes on their winnings. Getting a gold might not be mean "easy living" for the rest of your days. We'll also discuss black entrepreneurs in Ferguson, Missouri. It's been a decade since Michael Brown Jr. was killed and left in the street, many businesses are still struggling to rebuild and repair following the months of tumult after Brown's murder. We also hear from a female caller and attempted mother whose White colleagued made a sexually suggestive remark and followed behind her when she left the premises for the day. He's allegedly been keeping tabs on her car's location in the company lot.
