The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the third study session on Andrée Blouin's My Country, Africa: Autobiography of the Black Pasionaria. A pivotal figure in the history of counter-racism/anti-colonialism throughout the continent of Africa, Blouin is not as well known as South Africa's Madiba and Winnie Mandela, Kenya's Maus Maus and other freedom fighters who participated in combating White Terrorism in Africa. However, Blouin was of monumental importance and, consequently, a target of CIA/White Supremacy campaigns. Gus T. was ignorant about Ms. Blouin, but she was prominently featured in the new documentary, Soundtrack to a Coup d'Etat - which examines the assassination of Patrice Lumumba. The film makes time to quote from Blouin's autobiography about the efforts to assassinate she, her family and Lumumba. Last week, we learned about Belgian colonization of the Congo, which included White Men raping black children. Blouin's White father was 40, and her black mother was 13. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Amy Godine, Racist Suspect. A White Woman and resident of Saratoga Springs, New York #RaciallyRestrictedRegion, Ms. Godine is an author, educator, and independent researcher and journalist. She’s written a number of fiction and non-fiction works and even “taught literature to undergraduates and literature again to incarcerated college students in upstate New York.” Gus found her 2023 publication, The Black Woods: Pursuing Racial Justice on the Adirondack Frontier, around the same time National Public Radio aired a segment about a summer camp that transports non-white children from the city to the Adirondacks to experience nature, wildlife, and the absence of cellphones. Godine’s work examines Suspected Racist Gerrit Smith, who “gifted” land to black people during the middle 1800’s - prior to the Civil War. The legendary swell White dude John Brown allegedly hung out briefly in “Timbuctoo,” the beloved name for the settlement which may actually be a Racist Joke. Approximately 3,000 black people took Smith up on his offer, substantially less than he hoped, and the meager negro population was mostly erased from memory. Although, a number of White residents affectionately remember this region as: “Nigger Hills, Nigger Brooks, and Nigger Points.” This area is now a renown Racially Restricted Region/Sundown Town with VERY few people classified as black. Amy Godine’s Saratoga Springs boasts of having fewer than 5% of their population classified as black. The lates James Loewen told us this region has penitentiaries for privileged black dudes. No criminal charges have been filed and the alleged Race Soldier has not been identified. The Department of Justice charges that the Lexington, Mississippi police are engaged in a pattern of terrorizing black citizens - which includes sexual abuse. This is not the same location as the "Goon Sqaud" - that's Rankin County, Miss. The "Magnolia State's" favorite son, drug addict, NFL quarterback, Brett Favre was grilled by congress this week for allegedly looting Mississippi's TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) funds. The C.O.W.S. Neutralizing Workplace Racism 09/27/24. While on the presidential campaign trail, former President Trump suggested that Haitian immigrants in Ohio struggle to speak English, are a general nuisance, and need to be ejected form the continent immediately. Gus recalled reports where Ohioans were sorely lacking workers and were so elated to see French speaking black people from the Caribbean, they labeled the Haitians a "miracle." Speaking of politics, Gus cannot stress enough that non-white people should not ever discuss the presidential election, voting or any other form of politics while on the job. Co-Director of the Institute for Digital Research in the Humanities, Dr. Tell’s work “focuses on issues of race, memory, and the digital humanities. Since 2014, [he’s centered] on the legacy of the murder of Emmett Till in the Mississippi Delta. As a long-time partner with the Emmett Till Memorial Commission of Tallahatchie County, Inc., Dr. Tell’s work has a strong public focus.” Gus was motivated to read his 2019 publication, Remembering Emmett Till, after hearing a recent report where Till’s attempted family alleges that Suspected Racists are currently financially profiting from landmarks and memorials to the lynching. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Ben Rappaport. A graduate of the Hussman School of Journalism & Media at UNC-Chapel Hill, Rappaport is a reporter at the Border Belt Independent. The Context of White Supremacy proudly welcomes Michael Shoels. On April 20, 1999, 13 people were killed at Columbine High School in Colorado. Michael Shoels’ son Isaiah was one of the 12 children killed. The armed and dangerous White Man was accused of shooting 5 people on a Kentucky interstate. The C.O.W.S. Neutralizing Workplace Racism 09/20/24. Last week, a listener wrote in to detail his experience staying overnight in a hotel with his coworkers. Gus was mildly surprised that employees were required to share a room. Given the countless examples of sexually inappropriate conduct while in the office, forcing workers to sleep in the same room would create infinite hazards. The horrors began when his White coworker/roommate asked if he wanted to get drunk and attend a shindig. By the end of the evening, the inebriated, bloody White Man crawled into bed with our black male listener. After literally kicking his unconscious colleague on the floor, our privileged black male attempted to get a teaspoon of slumber. While bickering about negro dognappers, parts of Kentucky are on lock down as Joseph A Couch, a White man suspected of shooting 5 people on the interstate last weekend, remains loose. Some schools and even nature trails in the bluegrass region were closed. In Tennessee, the black officers charged for the police killing of Tyre Nichols began trial. In North Carolina, privileged black male Javion McGee was found dead with a rope around his neck tied to a tree. The black sheriff Curtis R. Brame has stated repeatedly and with complete certainty that this is not a lynching and they have no evidence of "foul play." Entertainment legend James Earl Jones died this week at the age of 93. This week, The Wall Street Journal reported that a new problem facing employees is a growing number of "fake candidates." In this context, "fake" means workers who present impressive résumés and complete competent Zoom interviews, yet lack the rudimentary skills of the job. WSJ did not provide information on the racial classification of the deceptive candidates. However, it's a common Racist cliché that black and non-white employees have to be overqualified to be hired - and sometimes, being overqualified is used as justification for not hiring black people. Gus doubts that hoards of black applicants with phony credentials are being hired to goldbrick and scam their new White employers. We also hear from a number of non-white people where sexual activity amongst coworkers is being encouraged or sought out. Generally, "dating" on the job does not result in promotions, raises or an increase in correct activity and "good feeling" amongst colleagues. In fact, workplace gossip has been known to commence in accordance with these so-called "office romances." We also hear from a non-white worker who was on a business trip, and suffered the horror of having to share a hotel room with a White co-worker. The Racist Suspect got intoxicated and hopped in bed with his black male roommate during the middle of the night. As we conclude our study of the 1973/1974 San Francisco murders, Gus is certain the Rev. Jim Jones had some knowledge or involvement with these crimes that took place on the same street, same block as the Geary Boulevard Peoples Temple. Last week, we learned that Mayor Allioto told the public that the so called Zebra suspects were responsible for almost 100 unsolved crimes throughout the state. #1800BlameAZebra We also learned about the revenge killing of James Cook, who was murdered by a random Race Solider. Cook's murder remains unsolved. When SFPD narrowed on on a group of black muslim male suspects, White officers committed arson and property destruction in an effort to provoke black people into committing a crime. A professor in the University of Georgia’s department of psychology, Dr. Skinner-Dorkenoo examines the psychology of “bias” and “prejudice” and how this thinking can be undone. Gus was intrigued when hearing about her report investigating White attitudes about Covid-19 once the racial disparities of the virus's spread were highlighted. White support of social distancing, masks and staying home drastically waned as did their overall fear of the coronavirus. We’ll also discuss a related study which examines the medical notion of “race correction,” where White medical officials make decisions about treatments and diagnoses that vary according to the racial classification of the patient. These “corrections” mean black people receive less pain medication and organ transplants, and are considered intellectually inferior as it relates to their White counterparts. Dr. Skinner told us none of these "corrections" harm White patients. It seems to Gus what undergirds all of these problems is White people’s collective dedication to the practice of White Supremacy/Racism. The C.O.W.S. recently discussed some of these very concepts with Dr. Jennifer Tsai and Professor Dorothy Roberts. Importantly, enforcement officials made contact with Colt last year, after online threats of violence were reported. Officers made a brief visit with the White child, but decided Colt would probably be a good boy. The C.O.W.S. Neutralizing Workplace Racism 09/06/24. Hopefully, lots of non-white people in the US had one day less on the plantation this week with the so-called Labor Day holiday. Now that tackle football season has begun, Gus T. strongly recommends that non-white people avoid discussing the gridiron or any other sporting activities in the workplace. Not even Caitlin Clark. Again, work-related subject matter should be the focus of conversation. Additionally, Racists frequently associate non-white people with athletic activities that require no cognitive abilities. I've never heard of a non-white person getting a promotion or raise because of they're unwavering support of the New York Yankees or Washington Redskins. In fact, some work environments forbid athletic paraphernalia because it can promote workplace conflict (even fisticuffs). A Professor of Critical Race Studies at the University of Birmingham’s School of Education, Professor Gillborn editor-in-chief of the journal Race Ethnicity and Education. “His research focuses on race inequalities in education, especially the role of racism as a changing and complex characteristic of the system.” Gus T. monitored the recent White rioting and hooliganism in the United Kingdom, as hoards of White people violently demonstrated their rage about non-white people and support of White Supremacy. The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 7th study session on The Zebra Murders: A Season of Killing, Racial Madness and Civil Rights. Authored by Bennett Cohen, Racist Suspect. Prentice Sanders is classified as a black male and is credited with serving almost 40 full years with the San Francisco Police Department. Last week, we learned about the massive dragnets for any and all black males during the early spring of 1974. One black officer was quoted as saying: "8 to 80, blind, crippled or crazy," they were classified as a black male, they were stopped by police. Perhaps, stopped repeatedly. Black male police officers were stopped and searched. Black male teachers were stopped and searched. Hip-hop great Flavor Flav heard the tales of financial woe and sponsored the Women's Water Polo squad, and NPR discussed how some athletes who score a medal are required to pay hefty taxes on their winnings. Getting a gold might not be mean "easy living" for the rest of your days. We'll also discuss black entrepreneurs in Ferguson, Missouri. It's been a decade since Michael Brown Jr. was killed and left in the street, many businesses are still struggling to rebuild and repair following the months of tumult after Brown's murder. The University of Washington's Special Collections's Book Club examines Mat Johnson's Incognegro: A Graphic Mystery. Credited with helping to put four Klu Klux Klan members and a serial killer into greater confinement, Mitchell was awarded a MacArthur “genius” grant and nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in journalism. Mitchell, who’s a White Man, authored the book Race Against Time, which examines the history of White Terrorist violence in the “magnolia state” - much of it involving Race Soldiers who successfully evaded prosecution for killing black people. We’ll examine Mitchell’s coverage of more recent Terrorist violence in the state. The 2011 lynching of James Craig Anderson, who was killed by a mob of young White teens who went hunting for a black person to kill. During the exchange, Trump called journalist Rachel Scott a rude, "fake news" lackey for ABC. During the course of the discussion, he emphasized his campaign talking point that illegal non-white immigrants are taking "black jobs." Black female journalist Rachel Scott, who was widely rebuked as rude and "discourteous" for her questioning of Trump, asked for clarification of the phrase "black jobs." Drew University of Medicine and Science, Los Angeles,” Dr. Assari examines “the intersection of race, ethnicity, gender, and place in changing causes and consequences of health. Dr. Assari has published more than 350 papers on topics such as race, social determinants, and health equity.” Gus learned about his research during this week’s discussion with Dr. Yamonte Cooper - who cites a number of Dr. Assari work in his new book, Black Men and Racial Trauma. Dr. Assari has years of research examining the different ways the System of White Supremacy impacts people classified as black. Much of his research suggests that black males are subjected to more intense forms of abuse and these same black dudes report that having more money or glamorous employment does not offer protection from Racism. In fact, for black males, having higher “socio-economic status” may cause more distress and Racial aggression. She said White officers made lewd sexual remarks about her body and charged that the black females were hired as a form of Racial Showcasing to make the department appear to be not racist and "progressive." 23-year-old Amya Brooks charges that White officers told her black females had "bad reputations" and were "untrustworthy." Ms. Brooks' lawsuit is pending, but Gus T. hopes she took extensive notes to document every tacky remark and instance of mistreatment. Wooden was a journalist at the time of the Guyana genocide and wrote extensively about the mass murder during 1978 and 1979. Like Meiers, Wooden is classified as a White Man. Having immersed ourselves into the life and times of the Rev. Jim Jones, we'll seek better answers about how "father" was able to acquire and kill nearly 300 children - most of them classified as black. Last week, Wooden again implied that Jim Jones was trained and mentored by privileged black male Father Divine. He details how Tim Carter, a White temple member, supplied Jones was critical information while in South America. Importantly, Carter was able to fly from San Francisco to Guyana. Most of the black church members were tricked and sequestered on cramped, jalopy buses that trekked from California to Florida, then they boarded a ship like slaves. Many black children and older people, like Dee Dee Smith, were literally bound, drugged and kidnapped to a foreign continent where they were killed. Wooden again descried the black people in Jonestown being treated like "slaves" - which is widespread in reports on the Peoples Temple. In Maryland, state officials announced that all heat-related fatalities for the state were located in Prince George's County. This region is at least 60% black according to published census data. In Illinois, Colette Seymore continues to seek answers for the disappearance of her offpsring Taylor Casey in the Bahamas. Seymore told News Nation that her daughter had two "strikes" against her" being classified as black and being "transgender." This week the distraught mother charged that officials on the Caribbean island and the yoga studio that Taylor was visiting in the Bahamas have not done all that they can or exhibited much genuine concern about her missing black child. Finally, just as The C.O.W.S. was preparing to broadcast live, reports indicated shots were fired at former President Donald J. Trump during his political rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Way back in 2022, it was reported the privileged black male Jerrod Jones announced he was filing suit against the Rochester Fire Department for Racist conduct. Specifically, Jones charged that his White supervisor ordered him to attend a "mock" Juneteenth party with mostly White people. Buckets of fried chicken decorated the events and members of the Democratic party were cruelly mimicked. 2 years later, Jones received $75,000 in compensation now, and will get another $75,000 in 4 years upon his retirement. He'll be on paid lead from the Rochester Fire Department until his retirement four years from now. That's the best news I've ever heard regarding a black person attending a "juneteenth" jamboree. We also discuss the cofounder of Movie Pass, Stacy Spikes. This privileged black male was forced to resign from the company he started and replaced by a pair of White dudes who bankrupted the company and are each facing charges of securities fraud and wire fraud.
