We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of terms as tools to reveal truth, neutralize Racists/White people. #ANTIBLACKNESS This weekend marks 60 years since the infamous "Bloody Sunday" march in Selma, Alabama where dozens of black females, elderly and children were beaten, trampled by horses, and shackled. , During the melee, the late John Lewis was pummeled on Edmund Pettus Bridge, which was deliberately named after a Klu Klux Klan member. Importantly, after much public debate and White hand-ringing, the bridge remains named after a Klansman in 2025. Organizers of this weekend's anniversary march openly question how much progress has been made since that day of White Terrorism. In Germany, a half dozen White men were arrested and charged with plotting to overthrow the German government and kidnap the health minister. The spirit of Dr. Frances Cress Welsing is demanding that alleged counter-racists pay attention to what's happening in this part of so-called Europe 🇩🇪 "Retired Firefighter in Florida" alerted us to the tragic hazing death of of Southern University's Caleb Wilson. Wilson's black fraternity brothers are accused of criminal hazing and manslaughter in the killing of the 20-year-old engineering student by beating him in the chest with fists and objects. The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 3rd study session on the late Dr. Maya Angelou's A Song Flung Up To Heaven. This is the 6th autobiography in her 7 book memoir series. We read books 1, I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings, and 4, The Heart of a Woman. Dr. Angelou now reigns as the only author to have three books read on the Katherine Massey Book Club. We're reading this book to hear Dr. Angelou's depiction of the assassinations of Minister Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Last week, Dr. Angelou detailed the smells and sounds from her sightseeing tours through the 1965 Watts riots. Oddly, she laments the lack of attention she receives while everyone is focused on the smoldering ruins and shootin' and lootin'. With a reputation as a poet, not a historian, Dr. Angelou is scant on specific details about what's happening during the infamous SoCal battle. The late Wanda Coleman wrote that a few of Dr. Angelou's descriptions of the Watts kerfuffle are factually incorrect. Later, the Wake Forest scholar tells us that she and her "former husband" Vus, who is not named in this book, attempt to reconcile. It fails miserably, and they resume the same toxic, destructive arguments they had on a different continent. We noted that the daily consumption of alcoholic beverages is a theme in both Dr. Angelou memoirs we read this year. We hopped out of Black History Month, but that provides no respite for White executives of retail giant Target. They continue to face boycotts in response to their reversal on previous commitments to #DEI initiatives. In California, non-white "immigrant" workers are being called on to do the heavy and toxic work of cleaning up the charred remains from the California wildfires. Groups of these non-white people allegedly receive training on the best practices to remain safe while clearing burned ruins. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Dr. Wayne A. Wiegand. A White man, historian and author, we’ll discuss Dr. Wiegand’s 2024 publication, In Silence or Indifference: Racism and Jim Crow Segregated Public School Libraries. The text does a masterful job detailing the history of White people controlling what books are in public libraries, if black people have access to those libraries, and if black people will be allowed to work in a book conservatory. Many core counter-racist principles are on display in this text as well as the years of deliberate White Supremacy that explain why black people have a culture that is mostly opposed to reading. Dr. Weigand tells us about growing up in the Racially Restricted Region of Michigan where he heard countless Racist Jokes and said his own White family was a part of the local System of Racism. We discuss how White Women exercise White Power in the classroom and the library as well as a 1960's image of a White North Carolina student in blackface. The Racist teen blackened up for "Book Week" as the beloved negro character from Nights With Uncle Remus. Importantly, the White female librarian beams a smile wide enough to light up the entire Carolina state while tenderly touching the blackface lad. He also worked with no count Bill Cosby on his eponymous 80's sitcom. In Germany, the AfD party, widely talked about as the "far right" party of Racism, finished in second place during this past weekend's presidential elections. White people in this part of the world are engaged in the same "anti-immigrant" (non-white people) conduct as people classified as White in the US. Black people didn't riot and barely broke stride from our usual niggerized routines of drinking booze and name-calling black people. Feeling low, she jetted off to Hawaii with her sorrows. Importantly, Dr. Angelou mentions the lasting importance of the 1955 Montgomery Bus Boycott, which vaulted Dr. King to prominence and made Rosa Parks a household name. Pathetically, she lists the date the boycott as 1958 - which is 2 years after its conclusion. President Donald J. Trump's onslaught on DEI practices and federal employment, have upended the employment of large numbers of black people. This week, NBC News' Curtis Bunn reported' that a so called "black middle class" developed because "the federal government provided both reliable jobs and guardrails to offset systemic racial bias in hiring and promotions, offering an alternative for Black workers who might be overlooked or ignored in the private sector." The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Charisse Bremond. The first female CEO and president of the Brotherhood Crusade [https://www.brotherhoodcrusade.org], for nearly a quarter century Ms. Bremond has maintained the Brotherhood's "vision of improving quality of life and meeting the unmet needs of low-income, underserved, under-represented and disenfranchised individuals." This public service organization works for a "South Los Angeles devoid of health disparities, disenfranchisement and poverty-associated adverse public health conditions." They've done extraordinary work since the January 2025 California wildfires, which devastated the Palisades and Altadena regions and is currently branded the costliest natural disaster in US history. The Brotherhood Crusade donated vehicles and launched a 2-year fundraising project to help with the rebuild. A large population of black homeowners had their houses eviscerated during the blaze. And Racial Dislocation was already a massive problem in this region. Dr. Angelou writes that the "1955" Montgomery bus boycott inspired those on the continent of Africa. Rosa Parks and Dr. Martin Luther King's famed counter-racist insurrgency against Alabama's Racist public transportation began in 1955 and lasted for a year. Parks alleged told the public her act of defiance was inspired by Emmett L. Till's lynching in August of 1955. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Racist Suspect Professor Carrie J. Preston. Classified as a White Woman, Professor Preston is the Professor of English and Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies; Arvind & Chandan Nandlal Kilachand Professor; and Director, Kilachand Honors College at Boston University. Her “research and teaching interests include modernist literature, performance, and dance, feminist and queer theory, and transnational and postcolonial studies.” The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. recently concluded Dr. Maya Angelou’s The Heart of a Woman, and we were startled by her experience with Racist Suspect Jean Genet’s The Blacks: A Clown Show. Professor Preston writes about plays like The Blacks, which cater to White “liberal” theater goers, ostensibly, to encourage Whites to Produce Justice, in her book, Complicit Participation: The Liberal Audience for Theater of Racial Justice. Obviously, White attendance at these events has not Produced Justice. In 2003, Preston attended one of the infinite showings of The Blacks where she was spotlighted as a White Woman and painted in blackface. Black audience members were horrified and came to her defense. #ToBeExpected We asked Professor Preston to disclose one Racist Joke she's heard after she confessed to hearing a couple dozen growing up in a Racially Restricted Region of Michigan. She refused our request, but did share that her White family members call Brazil nuts "Nigger Toes," even after they were informed that this was Racist behavior. In fact, they may still use this term when she's not present. Substantially less attention was given to White NFL executive's decision to remove the regular end zone slogan, "End Racism," which has been an innocuous piece of stadium decoration since the days of protesting George Floyd. As per all so-called holidays, Gus T. recommends not participating in any workday foolishness. No chocolates, no flowers, no cards or anything else to signify a "special" day. Gus also discourages sending your non-white attempted care mate any sort of arrangement or knickknack at their place of employment. Many non-white people engage in gossip, rumors, and pettiness in the workplace. Seeing a niggra receive flowers and candy when they didn't get any goodies motivates many to engage in vindictive, destructive behavior. Give your "sweetie" her gifts in private - if at all. During the broadcast, privileged black male Young Academic shared with us the mental health impact of being banished from the teaching profession and abused by White Women teachers. The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 8th and final study session on the late Dr. Maya Angelou's The Heart of A Woman. The acclaimed author, poet, rape victim and Victim of White Supremacy, Dr. Angelou penned a 7-book autobiography series on her life and work. This is book number 4 in the series. Gus T. was inundated with the life and literary work of Dr. Angelou during his recent Golden State sojourn. And it took Gus seeing the documentary film Soundtrack to a Coup d'État three times to accurately write down the title The Heart of a Woman. The extraordinary film on the assassination of Patrice Lumumba is "receipt-heavy," and Andrée Blouin and Dr. Angelou's respective memoirs are just 2 of the many books in the project. Last week, Dr. Angelou describes following her husband Vus to Africa without even an address or hotel reservation once she travels across the planet with her son, Guy. She and Vus have repeated conflicts about money and are nearing a second eviction. Dr. Angelou tells us she fell out of "love" with her care mate at this point. We heard about a lot more parties, dancing and liquor drinking. Dr. Angelou took time to make a distinction between she and the black people born in the United States as opposed to black people born in Africa. She incorrectly tells readers that "black Americans" were the last large group of people enslaved on the planet. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Rachel Grashow, PhD. Classified as a White Woman and a Suspected White Supremacist, “Grashow is the director of epidemiological research initiatives and co-investigator of Family Experiences Managing Football Lives (FEM-FL) for the Football Players Health Study at Harvard University. Grashow is also a research scientist at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health.” The last time Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs tussled with Jalen Hurts’ Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl, The C.O.W.S. welcomed Dr. Jessica Wallace to discuss her research that shows White coaches, White parents, and White players are more informed about the dangers of concussions than black coaches, parents, and players. Dr. Grashow’s research examines various elements of how tackle football destroys the brain computer as well the ways the System of White Supremacy exploits black football players while protecting the White Tom Bradys on the field. Part of her work specifically examines how black players are funneled to more dangerous positions, and are less likely to be thought of as or given the opportunity to be a “leader." Right on time for the broadcast, the Eagles' defensive back Cooper DeJean intercepted a Mahomes' pass and returned it for a score. Across social media, DeJean's shared nickname, #ExcitingWhites , began trending for the rest of the evening. The moniker highlights DeJean's racial classification as White in contrast with the fact that for decades White football coaches almost exclusively restrict this defensive position to black males. During our discussion, Dr. Grashow repeatedly insisted that White people are ignorant and/or unconscious about what Racism is and how it works. Taking things to the extreme, Dr. Grashow suggested that Whites at Harvard aren't as smart as Gus T. and that we shouldn't "hand over" power to White dominated institutions. For decades Fuller invested his time and energy answering the phone calls and, often desperate, please of non-white people who were about to be fired from their jobs. Fuller's efforts and phenomenal workplace contributions - which include the use of the US Constitution, are directly responsible for the existence of the weekly Neutralizing Workplace Racism broadcast. We also discuss the ongoing attacks on "DEI" in the workplace which are shutting down "Black History Month" celebrations in the office. We even heard from a C.O.W.S. listener who had whole projects eliminated in response to corporate concerns that the programs might be "DEI" related. This week, Trump held a spicy press conference where he insisted that air traffic control is a demanding job that requires "geniuses," not unqualified lamebrains who are signed on to fill quotas and diversity objectives. The Context of White Supremacy hosts a Counter-Racist Review of the ongoing wildfires in the Los Angeles, California area. It's very likely Gus T. would not be hosting this broadcast and would have had substantially less to say if he skipped the recent visit to the "Golden State" and the "City of Angels" specifically. It's poignant that Gus's primary problem with Los Angeles was the air pollution - which agitated his sinuses for the duration of his time there. Also, Gus sat on the beach in Malibu - close to where some of houses have burned to ashes - and proclaimed that climate change would destroy all the White people's beachfront mansions and property in the area. He was thinking of the encroaching sea level and gave no thought to the routine and devastating wildfires. We'll review the impact of the Palisades, Eaton and other blazes that have killed at least 24 people and razed tens of thousands of acres. A half million children - many of them classified as non-white - missed school this week. And nearly a thousand convicts, again, many of them classified as non-white - have been deployed to battle the deadly blazes while being paid (roasted) peanuts per day. The National Guard has been deployed to detain and discourage "looters" and to restrict access to still smoldering properties. This is a rare "double dip" for the book club, as we read I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings in the summer of 2014 just after the transition of the famed author and Wake Forest scholar. Ironically, when The C.O.W.S. last read Dr. Angelou, she was frolicking as a young lady in San Francisco. Gus T. was inundated with the life and literary work of Dr. Angelou during his recent Golden State sojourn. And it took Gus seeing the documentary film Soundtrack to a Coup d'État three times to accurately write down the title Heart of a Woman. The extraordinary film on the assassination of Patrice Lumumba is "receipt-heavy," and Andrée Blouin and Dr. Angelou's respective memoirs are just two of the many books in the project. Just this week, a Senate investigation found that Jeff Bezos's workers were discouraged from seeking medical attention beyond Amazon and that the online behemoth lied to minimize the dangers of their work environment. We heard from a non-white employee who skipped a retirement ceremony for a departing White colleague. Because of his passive aggressive behavior towards her, she concluded that her immediate White supervisor was dissatisfied with her absence. We revisit the logic and consequences regarding attending or avoiding workplace parties that may be after hours (and with alcoholic beverages). A pivotal figure in the history of counter-racism/anti-colonialism throughout the continent of Africa, Blouin is not as well known as South Africa's Madiba and Winnie Mandela, Kenya's Maus Maus and other freedom fighters who participated in combating White Terrorism in Africa. However, Blouin was of monumental importance and, consequently, a target of CIA/White Supremacy campaigns. Gus T. was ignorant about Ms. Blouin, but she was prominently featured in the new documentary, Soundtrack to a Coup d'État - which examines the assassination of Patrice Lumumba. The film makes time to quote from Blouin's autobiography about the efforts to assassinate she, her family and Lumumba. It was reported this week that Amazon will donate $1 million in cash to Trump inauguration next month. Days after the death of Golubski, privileged black males Cedric Warren and Dominic Moore were released from prison after being caged for decades for a murder they did not commit. Suspected Rapist Roger Golusbki was the White Supervisor in charge of this unjust investigation. Suspected White Assassin Luigi Mangione was arrested and charged with killing White insurance CEO Brian Thompson.
