The C.O.W.S. Ruby Lathon Part 3: Plant Based Eating Counters Racism
UPDATE: The C.O.W.S. Yoga Retreat In Florida Dec. 28th to Jan 1st: https://racism-notes.blogspot.com/2019/08/COWSinFlorida.html The Context of White Supremacy welcomes the return of Dr Ruby Lathon. A certified holistic nutritionist, wellness coach and an advocate for the life-saving benefits of plant-based nutrition, we first spoke with Dr. Lathon earlier this year before The C.O.W.S. 10-Year Anniversary Yoga Retreat. Listeners have continue to report improvements as they eliminate poor quality foods from their diet. We're excited tro ask Dr. Lathon about recent reports that allege consuming a bit of red meat is an acceptable part of a healthy diet. We'll also seek Dr. Lathon's advice for parents who want to eat better. Children can be finicky eaters, so a meal of hummus and cauliflower may not appeal to them. Having children can also make it more challenging to experiment with different foods to shift one's eating habits. #PlantBasedEatingCountersRacism INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#
The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 10/19/19
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS United States Congressman Elijah Cummings died this week at the age of 68. A fierce critic of President Donald J. Trump, Cummings served the Maryland area and regularly addressed the problem of Racism/White Supremacy. The United States Supreme Court is set to review the sentence of convicted "D.C. Sniper" Lee Boyd Malvo, who's serving life in prison with no chance of parole. He was 17 at the time of killings, and minors aren't supposed to judged by the same standards as adults. So called Columbus Day was recognized this week - although here in Washington there were protests for 'Indigenous Peoples Day.' In Texas, the police killing of Atatiana Jefferson continues to command national media. Aaron Dean, the White officer who allegedly murdered Jefferson, is free on bond after being charged for Jefferson's death. This is in the same Texas region where Amber Guyger was recently convicted for killing an unarmed black male, Botham Jean, in his residence. #4MoYEars INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#
The C.O.W.S. Neutralizing Workplace Racism 10/18/19
The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Friday weekly forum on neutralizing Workplace Racism. This program is specifically crafted to bolster non-white people's problem-solving skills and refine how black people think, speak, act and manage emotions while on the job. Any listeners who've designed a code to minimize conflicts with White and/or non-white co-workers, bypass demotions, write-ups, terminations or other forms of violence we experience under Racist work conditions should be first to call in with precise details. We always appreciate the chance to learn about the experiences of "black entrepreneurs." Please, share with us how being "self employed" improves your work experience. We'll continue to review how attempted counter-racists can best utilize recording devices to solve problems without creating new problems in the workplace. We'll explore how the LGBTQ offensive is indeed changing everything, including the work environment. We'll ask listeners if they've had updated policy or trainings around these issues. Here in Seattle a black female told Gus that Whites on her job were extremely vocal and successful in lobbying for employment of more people classified as LGBTQ. #WorkplaceRacism INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#
The COWS Toni Morrison's Tar Baby Part 8 (Conclusion)
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 8th and final study session on the late Toni Morrison's 1981 novel, Tar Baby. The first black female to win the Nobel Prize for literature, Morrison, an Ohio native, died this summer at the age of 88. In edition to editing a number of black texts and compiling a gargantuan body of written work, Morrison encouraged other black females and males to write - including Dr. Angela Davis. The C.O.W.S. Book club examined The Bluest Eye in 2012. We'll recognize her passing by returning to her work, this time to read Tar Baby. The novel is named after the Uncle Remus character "Tar Baby." The term has been used a racist slur applied specifically to black children. This fable becomes an important part of the narrative. Last week's session saw Jadine and Son have an enormous brawl with each other after returning to New York from Eloe. They often fought about Valerian - specifically, Jadine's attachment to this White man. Jadine wants Son to get a job or take Valerian money's to start a business or go to school. Back on the island, Valerian continues to act greatly pained by the "revelation" that his wife abused their son, Michael. After Jadine dumps Son, she says it will be hard to forget him because of how well he "fucked." Again, black males are reduced to rapists and walking penises. #ReadingIsMoreImportantThanWatchingTelevision INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943# #4MoYears INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#

Gus T's yoga journey took a new turn, with him being asked to apply for a yoga teaching position. Before he even finished the application, he was presented with an employee handbook. We'll discuss his recently published book, "Black Cop: My 36 years in police work and my career-ending experience with official racism." The term has been used a racist slur applied specifically to black children. This fable becomes an important part of the narrative. During last week's session most of the house was focused on the unnamed black male guest who was found lurking in the Street house. Both White and black characters refer to the black male as a "wild" animal. It's assumed that this black male intends to rape. While speaking with Jadine, he asks her if she had to have sex to advance on her job. This sparks a massive brawl where Jadine spits on him and strikes him until the black male subdues her. She threatens to tell White people. Mr. Street seems mostly amused with the black male's presence - not in the least bit concerned about his wife being raped. #ReadingIsMoreImportantThanWatchingTelevision INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#

In edition to editing a number of black texts and compiling an awesome body of written work, Morrison encouraged other black females and males to write - including Dr. Angela Davis. The C.O.W.S. Book club read The Bluest Eye back in 2012. We'll recognize her passing by returning to her work, this time to read Tar Baby. The novel is named after the Uncle Remus character "Tar Baby." The term has been used a racist slur applied specifically to black children. This fable becomes an important part of the narrative. #ReadingIsMoreImportantThanWatchingTelevision #TheCOWS10Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#
The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 09/14/19
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. #ANTIBLACKNESS Whites in the United States marked 18 years since the 2001 September 11th attacks led to the Patriot Act, the Department of Homeland Security, smart IDs and a bevy of regulations to justify harassing non-white people. In Europe, Boris Johnson frightened Englishman with a prediction of White Brits rioting in the streets and food shortages if they're unable to reach a Brexit deal. In the States, the Food and Drug Administration announced plans to ban flavored e-cigarettes. The prohibition is simultaneous with hundreds of reports of peculiar respiratory illnesses linked to vaping nicotine and cannabis products. It's been a week since Hurricane Dorian ravaged the Bahamas, and many of these poor black victims are being told returning home is an unlikely option. President Donald J. Trump denied Temporary Protected Status to the black Hurricane Victims. #WhiteIdentityExtremist INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#
The C.O.W.S. Neutralizing Workplace Racism 09/13/19
The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Friday weekly caucus on neutralizing Workplace Racism. This broadcast is specifically engineered to improve non-white people's problem-solving skills and refine how black people think, speak, act and control emotions while at work. Any listeners who've designed a code to minimize conflicts with White and/or non-white co-workers, bypass demotions, write-ups, terminations or other forms of violence we experience under Racist work conditions should be first to call in with particulars. We always appreciate the chance to learn about the experiences of "black entrepreneurs." Please, share with us how being "self employed" improves your work experience. We'll continue to review how attempted counter-racists can best utilize recording devices to solve problems without creating new problems in the workplace. We'll ask if other listeners think their co-workers might be listening in to their comments about Workplace Racism. #WorkplaceRacism INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#

The term has been used a racist slur applied specifically to black children. This fable becomes an important part of the narrative. During last week's session we got additional information about the White family on the Caribbean island, the Streets. Mr. Street is more than 20 years his wife's senior and is retired from a Philadelphia candy empire. Morrison spends a good deal of time describing their most famous chocolate candies, "Teddy Boys," in comparison the "faggoty" candies made to honor Mr. Street. Mrs. Margaret Street is anxious for the return of her adult son, but it seems she was a negligent mother to her young son, who not functions as though he does not need his parents. The unnamed black male stowaway from the opening of the text was found trespassing in the Streets' residents. After holding the intruder under the barrel of a gun, Mr. Street invites him for dinner. #ReadingIsMoreImportantThanWatchingTelevision INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#

The Bahamas suffered extraordinary devastation with Florida and the Carolinas seeing damage as well. In addition to the massive storm system, the world focused on the passing of former Zimbabwe president Robert Mugabe, 95. Many White news outlets portrayed Mugabe as a savage "dictator" who hated Whites. No context is provided for Zimbabwe or his conduct. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 8th and final study session on Gavin de Becker's The Gift of Fear. This bestselling text is celebrated by Oprah Winfrey and has spawned a series of books and lectures produced by de Becker, a White man. Although the text does not explicitly mention Racism at any point, it routinely directs attention towards White Supremacy with ceaseless references to OJ Simpson, remarks about Al Sharpton and de Becker's dislike of "political correctness." Last week's session focused on political assassinations and celebrity stalkers. de Becker mentions the attempted murder of former presidential candidate and governor of Alabama George Wallace - a proud White Supremacist and notorious villain during the 1960's Civil Rights effort. He fails to mention any of the numerous black people who were assassinated attempting to address White Supremacy. While discussing the dangers of criminals who hunt well known figures, it struck Gus that a black celebrity stalker would have an especially difficult - if not dangerous - time following affluent Whites into affluent White spaces. #RacismDemandsViolenceAgainstBlackPeople #TheCOWS13 INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 720.716.7300 CODE 564943#

He's credited with locating an original recording of Dr. King giving a "trial run" of his "I Have a Dream Speech" that was given in North Carolina nine months before the 1963 March on Washington. Earlier this summer, Dr. Miller published a report on North Carolina freedom fighter Dorothy Cotton and her "relationship" with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. In the report, Dr. Miller references a number allegations about extramarital affairs and promiscuous behavior by the civil rights minister. The C. O. W. S. Gavin de Becker's The Gift of Fear Part 7
The Context of White Supremacy hosts our seventh study session on Gavin de Becker's 1997 bestseller, The Gift of Fear: Survival Signals That Protect Us from Violence. de Becker is a White man, Racist Suspect. A number of C.O.W.S. listeners suggested that we study this book to help non-white people better perceive when they may be in danger. The System of White Supremacy is designed to encourage White and non-white people to harm black people. The hope is that by reading this book, listeners will be more alert and responsive to signals that inform of us of possible danger. Interestingly, in some circles, this text is regarded as "feminist" literature. de Becker presents (White) Women as the prototypical victims of violence - while completely ignoring the omnipresent brutality against black people. Last week's segment examined the importance of giving a firm "no" when dealing with people who are "persistent." He again advocates planned ignoring as continued talking requires more contact, opportunities for negotiation and the possibility of an escalation beyond annoyance to abuse. The text also discussed children who turn violent, and included commentary on the 1978 case involving Willie Bosket. This black teen was described as a "mad dog," and was was used to justify sweeping criminal law changes that allowed children to be punished as adults. #RacismDemandsViolenceAgainstBlackPeople #TheCOWS13 INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 720.716.7300 CODE 564943#

Two separate attacks in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio produced over two dozen casualties and more wounded. Both shootings are reportedly motivated by White Supremacy/Racism in some manner. The Texas killer, a White 21-year-old taken into custody, allegedly published a manifesto describing a "Hispanic invasion," which demanded his violent defense of White land. The carnage forced President Donald J. Trump to utter the words "White Supremacy." However, most of the dialog reverted to the stale exchange about gun control. Also in Ohio, a residential fire is being investigated as an arson hate crime. The home owners are a so called interracial couple and racist graffiti was plastered on the property. In week of grief, we also mourned the passing of literary titan Toni Morrison, who died at the age of 88. Gus hasn't received much feedback on adjusting one's counter-racist code to accommodate pregnancy. This means we can and should think of suggestions to offer new non-white parents during this critical period. We'll also discuss how the violent eruptions in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio were addressed in the workplace. Gus always recommends not discussing these sort of events in the workplace. #WorkplaceRacism INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943# #WorkplaceTerrorism
The C.O.W.S. Gavin de Becker's The Gift of Fear Part 6
The Context of White Supremacy hosts our sixth study session on Gavin de Becker's 1997 bestseller, The Gift of Fear: Survival Signals That Protect Us from Violence. de Becker is a White man, Racist Suspect. A number of C.O.W.S. listeners suggested that we study this book to help non-white people better grasp when they might be violated. The System of White Supremacy is designed to encourage White and non-white people to harm black people. The hope is that by reading this book, listeners will be more alert and responsive to signals that inform of us of possible danger. Interestingly, in some circles this text is regarded as "feminist" literature. de Becker does position (White) Women as the prototypical victims of violence - while completely ignoring the omnipresent brutality against black people. Last week's segment brought the full spotlight on OJ Simpson. de Becker again acknowledged that he worked for the prosecution in the Simpson trial, and he devoted a healthy chunk of the reading to discussing the obviousness of Simpson's guilt. He also presented valuable information on the importance of accepting evidence - previous violent behavior, confrontations with police - that may point to future violence. He also suggested thinking carefully before filing a restraining order. In some instances, this may intensify the harassment. #WhiteSupremacyDemandsViolenceAgainstBlackPepople INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943# INVEST in The COWS – paypal.me/TheCOWS https://cash.app/$TheCOWS

The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 08/03/19
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. #ANTIBLACKNESS Convicted sexual terrorist and former Oklahoma City Police officer Daniel Holtzclaw had his appeal denied. He's serving more than 260 years for his 2014 conviction for sexually assaulting black females. Speaking of racial attacks, President Donald J. Trump continued to blast black citizens and elected officials. This week he targeted Congressman Elijah Cummings and his Maryland district before launching into Al Sharpton, who the president called a "racist" and a "conman." After verbally reprimanding these black people, the president addressed the 400 year anniversary of slaves being stolen and brought to Jamestown, Virginia. Speaking of mass violence, we'll address today's El Paso, Texas shooting where 20 people are reported dead and dozens more wounded. Racism/White Supremacy is reported to have directly motivated the mass killing. #HowIsAlSharptonRacist INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#
The C.O.W.S. Neutralizing Workplace Racism 08/02/19
The Context of White Supremacy hosts our weekly broadcast on neutralizing Workplace Racism. This program is uniquely constructed to improve non-white people's problem-solving strategies and revamp how black people think, speak, act and control emotions while on the job. Any listeners who've assembled a code to minimize conflicts with White and/or non-white co-workers, bypass demotions, write-ups, terminations or other forms of violence we experience under Racist work conditions should be first to call in with particulars. We are always excited and grateful to hear the experiences of "black entrepreneurs." Please, let us know how "working for yourself" improves your employment experience. We'll continue to review how attempted counter-racists can best utilize recording devices to solve problems without creating new problems in the workplace. Since Gus is not a parent, he would not be think to ask how parenting impacts a workplace code of conduct. We'll ask attempted counter-racist parents to share their code for discussing children on the job and how to handle being pregnant while on the plantation. #WorkplaceRacism INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#
