Hour #2 of this mornings show was an interview with Beth Hennington to promote this weekend big fundraising event for the Salvation Army in Jackson. It was only supposed to be about 30 minutes but I found out that Beth is famous in the underground cookie world and has even won a cooking competition show on the Food Network so we shifted gears and discussed that for a couple of segments to close out the show

This was an action packed hour #1 of the Clay Edwards Show this morning where we discussed what makes Mississippi so great then went straight into a big update on the story from yesterday about the idiot who was arrested for posting a photo of a gun being pointed at a JPD cruiser (this is now the dumbest FAFO Champion ever). We also discussed the tragic Austin Metcalf murder, Austin was a white Texas high school football star that was murdered by a black teen at a track meet for no reason!! There's some bonus content at the end from after the 2nd hour which was a interview I'm posting as a stand along podcast.

This was one of the best conversations I've ever had!!

We discuss what so many young black men (and even some white) hate the police so much that they'd take pictures of themselves pointing guns at their vehicles while riding down the road and then post to social media? We hit this topic and other top news of the day!!

Kingfish w/ Jackson Jambalaya joins me today to breakdown all of yesterdays election results, but none have bigger implications than Chokwe Antar Lumumba (Jackson's thug mayor) only getting 16% of the vote compared to Senator Horne getting nearly 49% and it going to a runoff that's all but a formality before Horne moves on to face the Republican and Independent candidates to become the next mayor of Jackson, Mississippi while Chokwe rides off into the unknown and awaits his federal corruption and bribery trial in summer of 2026 when we assume his eventual landing spot is a federal prison.

During one of today's commercial breaks I addressed some commenters online that were upset with me for fat shaming some staged photo of a bunch of fat girls wearing hooters outfits. This turned into what I believe is one of my all-time, epic rants suggesting that we should being back and make bullying and fat shaming great again!!

Hour #1- Chip Matthews joins the show again today (unplanned) to discuss all of today's local primary elections but per usual with Chip and my conversations they devolve into absolute chaos as we discuss the left wing nutjobs attacking Tesla vehicles and their drivers, I float the theory of testing the limitations of the castle doctrine here in Mississippi (which upset some people online, unfortunately I didn't get to read any of those comments on the show). Hour #2- Kingfish with the website "Jackson Jambalaya" calls in and we breakdown the Jackson race for mayor as well as Brandon and Flowood with what ended up being a really good hour of radio. Towards the end of the hour I addressed some angry sloths in my comment section online and went on one of my best, unhinged rants ever!!

- I got out and held signs and waived at Brandon citizens on behalf of Mayoral candidate Fred Shanks this weekend and was shocked at how nasty some of the current mayors supporters were to us, flipping us off and cussing at us to support their guy was interesting to say the least (keep in mind the majority of our group were women 40 & older so it just wreaked of disrespect) - The conversation about Brandon politics turned into a conversation about voter I.D. laws in Mississippi and I was blown away to find out Chip's claims about Mississippi voters being allowed to vote without an I.D. as long as they brought it back within 5 business days and then finding out that you can vote with an expired I.D. that's been expired for 10 years.

Over the weekend an illegal immigrant was arrested in Brookhaven, Mississippi for destroying a Tesla with a set of wire cutters at a Wal-Mart in what I consider an act of political terrorism. Local media outlets call him a "white guy"!!

Jackson rep. and former Democrat (now independent) legislature Shonda Yates has really stood out of above the pack to me the last few years since leaving the Democrat party. I think she has potential to do much bigger things politically if she chooses to, listen my argument for why I think she has what it takes to potentially become Mississippi's first female Governor.

I open the show with a rant about why speaking the truth isn't controversial!! 1- Jason White releases the updated HB1 tax bill -UNPOPULAR OPINION: PERS is a boat anchor around the rest of our throats, way too many useless, underperforming state employees that would have been fired in any other line of work breaking the system because nobody in charge of fixing it will do anything to negatively affect their own pers account -There's 2 things you're not allowed to speak out against in any form or fashion and that's pers or suggesting that America shouldn't blindly support Israel - The reaction to my opinion on this is exactly why so many normies are fed up with this conversation, anytime someone says anything about it being a bad deal for the rest of us we get shouted down and told that we hate first responders and school teachers. - Furthermore, a bunch of you guys are all for DOGE and the federal government trimming the fat by firing dead weight employees but the second you start talking about doing the same thing here on the state or local level and y'all start singing a different tune!! - I have to budget my household, I expect the state and federal gov. to do the same. 2- Can I take a minute to just show some love to Shonda Yates for being fearless and standing up and doing what's best for her constituents while other members of the Jackson delegation continue to pander to woke minorities and doing nothing to help them or other Mississippian's. I'm just shooting from the hip here but I predict (or maybe I'm trying to will it into existence) but I foresee Shonda eventually joing the GOP and running for higher office, and I will fully support her because her resume on things that matter in our day to day lives is stellar!! I don't agree with her on everything, just like every other politician in America and that's perfectly fine!! 3- Can we talk about these leftwing nutjobs protesting Tesla, setting themselves on fire to protest Tesla in some strange defense of Ukraine and vandalizing them with nazi symbols for some strange reason? -LEADERSHIP! Trump will prosecute those who are destroying Tesla cars and dealerships, with Domestic Terrorism charges. -This is not a charge one wants to get hit with. Can someone explain what policies Trump has that are anti-women? - It is kinda funny that Trump has beaten 2 different so-called women's asses to win 2 of his 3 presidential election victories, then he also gets up there and single handedly defends women's rights - 3- Let's talk about Ukraine and Russia, I missed the last few days and haven't had a chance to discuss this matter. 4- I'm ready to start seeing some Democrats get perp walked, starting here locally of course and then on to the national cucks like Adam Schiff for his Ukraine connections 5- The tyranny of the trans movement reared its ugly head in Maine when a state representative lost her right to speak and vote after she dared speak out about a trans male/female who demolished the female competition in the state championship track meet.

If you had to explain the Clay Edwards Show "experience" in one single show that best captures what this show is all about, today's episode is probably that show. I mean what an absolute shit show, it was awesome!!

Today's show got thrown a curve ball with Shaun being unable to make it at the last minute, I had to throw out the show prep for the 2nd time this week and improvise. What came of that is what I think ended up being one of the best shows I've ever done. We expose the fake compassion industry of the white, Belhaven liberal and have a great 45 minute conversation with Kingfish about the Jackson Mayoral race and more.

The first 20 minutes of the show was discussing a lawsuit involving disgraced attorney Bridget Todd, then we went all in this morning on the Democrats obsession with race and why the rest of America is fed up with it.

We've been doing a lot of winning the last month or so, but America just took a big ol' L and it further proves that society is gayer than it's ever been.
