The Church of Eleven22

In the body of Christ (the church), EVERYBODY counts. We are ONE church with many members to the glory of the ONE name that is above every name.

When we get a vision of the ONE true God, then we must respond with our ONE and only life.

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, - Ephesians 5:25 See 1 Corinthians 13:4-11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. An excellent wife is the crown of her husband, but she who brings shame is like rottenness in his bones. - Proverbs 12:4 You will either be a CROWN or CANCER to your household. Actions Steps: 1.Give thanks 2.Confess and repent 3.Encourage your husband

God loved so God gave. If you believe, then you receive eternal life.

God’s sovereign purpose for all of creation is to glorify Himself by grace through faith in Jesus Christ as He crushes Satan underneath our feet through the power of the gospel. Amen.

A life on mission in Christ is a life worth honoring.

A life well lived is not measured by accumulation or achievement, but by pouring yourself out for the glory of God on the mission of God by the power of God.

The gospel compels me to sacrifice myself for you to the Glory of God, not justify myself for me and my own glory. "In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; and in all things, charity." - John Wesley (Maybe…there is an ongoing internet battle over who said it first…how ironic.)

Love rules over all rules and regulations. Jesus tells us the greatest commandment is to love God and love people.

20 And Jesus said to them, “Whose likeness and inscription is this?” 21 They said, “Caesar's.” Then he said to them, “Therefore render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.” Matthew 22:20-21

A life offered to the Lord as a living sacrifice is a life marked by loving one another. The gospel calls us to treat others as Christ has treated us.

Although we are not saved by the church, we are saved into the church family. The body needs you and you need the body.

To be loved by God is to be given the reward that is obedience to God. We don’t obey to get a reward—though there will be plenty—obedience is the reward.

Until Jesus returns: No matter who you are, what you've done or where you're from, it’s not too late to surrender to Jesus.

What’s so amazing about grace is that God sent His Son to take YOUR place.

Do you hear? Do you understand? Will you surrender and fall into the outstretched arms of your Heavenly Father?

If you have been saved, then you have been sent.

In MERCY, God chooses whoever He wills for the purpose of declaring salvation is in Jesus Christ alone! God sovereignly chooses Israel to show His glory, that through Israel, Jesus Christ would come and make possible that all nations can know God.

God’s love toward us (as demonstrated through the cross and resurrection) is infinitely greater than anything this world can throw at us.

God's love for you is not measured by your circumstances, but by His sovereign grace toward you. To see His love, see the cross.

We are no longer slaves to fear. We are children of God.

The enemy says that you are condemned because of what you have done. The Father says that you are alive and free because of what Jesus has done for you.

We are not mistakers that need to try harder. We are sinners that need a Savior.

When you have been SET FREE by the gift of God's GRACE then you are FREE to GRACE others that are still in bondage through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

When Jesus is your Savior, He not only saves your soul from eternal damnation in the next life, but He SETS YOU FREE from the slavery of sin in this life. BE FREE.

You don't have to do the things you used to do because you are not the person that you used to be.

Our sin is like a hereditary disease that affects and infects every one of us. The good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ is that HE is the cure for ANYONE who would believe.

Through the cross and resurrection Jesus has conquered all of our fears. Are you ready to trade in your fears for FAITH in the Risen Savior? The presence of Jesus can calm all of our fears.

Grace is the free: Gift of Righteousness by faith Apart from works that Changes who we are by Eternally securing us in God's love

What do you do when you find yourself in a seemingly hopeless situation? You remind yourself every day that your faith is NOT in the temporary circumstances of this world, but your faith is in your Sovereign Savior. Jesus is the only legitimate source of hope.

Following Jesus starts with the first step of FAITH (not works) and is followed by a lifelong journey of one step at a time. What is your next step?

The LAW and FAITH are eternally connected gifts from God. The Law shows us our NEED FOR faith. Faith gives us the ABILITY TO uphold the law. To neglect one is to neglect the fullness of the Gospel.

Have you placed your faith in Jesus?

God is faithful even when we are not. This truth is not a license to sin, but an invitation to serve the sovereign Savior.

Any person or religion that tries to work its way to God will not work. Righteousness (a right standing with God) is a gift of God through the finished work of Christ.

If we find ourselves looking down our noses at others for what they are doing it is only because we have taken our eyes off of the cross of Jesus Christ and what He has done for us.

The only POWER that is able to save you and set you free is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I am praying that this year you and I DEEPEN our relationship with Jesus Christ. 14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family[c] in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being,17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21

The Point of ROMANS is the Gospel. The Gospel: the reconciling of sinful peoples with a Holy God through the substitutionary atoning life, death, and resurrection of Jesus in accordance with the scriptures for the Glory of God.

The Church of Eleven22 is a movement for all people to Discover and Deepen a relationship with Jesus. - Don’t miss this: Eleven22 is NOT the point, JESUS is the POINT.

The greatest thing in which we can look back on and the greatest thing we can hope towards is the Gospel: the good news that Jesus Christ came to save sinners like you and me for the glory of God.

Christmas is a reminder that the mission of the Spirit of God is to make sure we don’t miss Jesus.

For Christ to be Before All Things in my life: - I know that the purpose of my life is to point to Jesus (John 1:31) - He must increase I must decrease (John 3:30) - At the end of my life I would know HE is my treasure (Hebrews 11:35)
