Prayer can feel complicated, but Jesus says it’s simply this: children reaching up to their good Father. Is He the ONE thing that drives everything in your life?

For bitterness to break, forgiveness must happen. If we could begin to see others the way we want God to see us, then we would begin to love people the way God loves us.

REPENTANCE is God’s graced-filled invitation to RETHINK the direction of our lives. Do you need to change direction?

You are never too far gone to cry out to God. “I pray because I can't help myself. I pray because I'm helpless. I pray because the need flows out of me all the time, waking and sleeping. It doesn't change God. It changes me.” - C.S. Lewis

The only thing harder than fighting the flesh and following through on God’s will is wishing that you had.

In every square inch of the Earth (and cosmos), Jesus rightly declares MINE. Missions and church planting are a worship issue.

The church is God’s treasure. The church is Jesus’s bride. The church is empowered by God the Holy Spirit.

What has God blessed and put into your hands to be used by you to serve His people?

When we “see” the ONE true God… 1. We confess our sins 2. We surrender our lives and are saved 3. We are sent

At Christmas we celebrate the fact that Jesus stepped off of His heavenly throne to come to earth to be: Prophet: proclaim truth Priest: reconcile us with God King: rule and reign all that is, beginning in our hearts “I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE and no one comes to the Father except through me” - Jesus

The promise of God’s presence will be the power to persevere in the pain. - I know that He is able to _________. - I am believing that He will __________. And even if He doesn’t, I will worship Him alone.

God did not save you to make much of you, but the gospel frees you to make much of Him.

The boy’s dad in Mark 9 needed a miracle to rescue his child from oppression. Today, God could use YOU to be that miracle in the life of a child that needs to be rescued from poverty in Jesus’ name. compassion.com/COE22

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. - Romans 8:28

Because of the resurrection of Jesus we can say: “When peace like a river attendeth my way When sorrow like sea billows roll Whatever my lot Thou has taught me to say It is well, it is well with my soul.”

We love our neighbor because Jesus, like the Good Samaritan, loved us.

We are to be stewards of our bodies and health, not for our own comfort or benefit, but so that we can pour our lives out for the gospel. Obsession with the physical is idolatry. Neglect of the physical is sacrilege.

Our enemy, the Devil, is the Father of Lies. Do not believe the whispers, but stand on the truth of the word of God. “It is written…”

The shiny things of this world will never satisfy our empty souls. “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.” – Jim Elliot

In order for the church to be ONE so that the world knows we are His disciples, we must forgive one another.

God has set apart a PEOPLE for a PURPOSE.

The gospel doesn’t only alter our eternal trajectory, but meets us in the deepest darkest places of the soul.
