Ep 570How to Intelligently Accumulate Wealth While Continuing to Grow Your Business

Aryeh Sheinbein is a finance professional with broad practical operational and investment experience in hedge funds and private equity businesses. Beyond his investment, valuation, and operational expertise with many types of businesses, investments, and financial instruments, he has many years of experience and success in eCommerce and the Amazon selling platform.Over his career he has obtained extensive experience managing large complex projects and teams, giving him executive leadership skills with concentrated experience with finance, business strategy, marketing, and operations. Joining Mark for this session are: Erik PetersonTate Litchfield…and our special guest, Aryeh Sheinbein! Listen in as the Land Geeks go around the table and ask Aryeh questions about: Why alternative investments are no longer optionalTips on how to invest–no matter how much you haveThe worst investment advice he’s come acrossWhy you should stay away from the financial media“Focus on the long term, whether it's 5 years, 10, 15, 25. It’s a whole different mental space and idea on how to handle finances.” ~Aryeh SheinbeinAryeh also explains fair value and private market valuations and how they can relate to raw land investment. TIP OF THE WEEKAryeh: My tip of the week is one word. Patience. It hits on everything: business, investment, or life. If you’re building or growing something, you think it should happen in 12 months or less. It’s not going to. Continue to build the skill. Have the patience to see it blossom. Most people don’t have the patience and bail too early, because they don’t have the patience. As for books, the book I like a lot and that I read every other year is James Cleary’s Atomic Habits. If you read the book and implement the ideas, it’s game-changing.The other book I’ve read recently is Adam Grant’s Think Again. It gives you perspective on investing, business or life as well. If you don’t take the time to rethink why you’re doing something, you can be on a sinking ship and not realize it, because you’re too focused on your idea working out. Mark: Atomic Habits is one of those books you should read every single year. WANT TO LISTEN MORE?Did you like this episode? Ep 558Here's Why You Need To Learn The Process To Create Your Formula For Success

Robert Raymond Riopel is the best-selling author and podcast host of Success Left a Clue. He is also the creator of the interactive web platform and app called AmentorA. Robert started his journey in personal development with guidance from complete strangers. This has led him to find his true passion for learning and teaching others.During his extensive travels teaching around the world, he recognized that success has left clues everywhere. These are in the form of insights that people, like himself, have come to learn through experience and trial and error that they now pass on to those who follow, allowing others to bypass obstacles and obtain results sooner.Listen in as they discuss:Robert’s journey to successThe difference between being a manager and a leaderThe difference between a like-minded person and a growth-minded personClues to look out for to live a successful life“ Follow the system, get the success that has been proven by the system so that now have the success.” ~ Robert Raymond RiopelRobert also shares with us the worst advice he has seen or heard given in his area of expertise to people who want to achieve success and improve their lives.TIP OF THE WEEKScott: Check out pagemaker.io, it's a landing page generator. If you create landing pages with all the cool stuff like a countdown timer, you can do it with pagemaker.io for free.Robert: My tip is just to be yourself, show up for who you are. Whatever you do, either people are going to like you or they don't. If they like you or not that's awesome, how much time do we waste trying to please people and be something they want. So, just be you! Also, my first book that I wrote which is an international best-seller, called Success Left A Clue. What I would love to do is for people to go to my website robertriopel.com, they can download the entire digital copy as a gift for them. But it does come with a caveat, I wrote the book as a workbook, which means there are action steps. At the end of the book, I'd always say, "Did you do the action, if not, stop and go back. Do the action before you continue reading." I would love for them to download, read it and do the action steps. Success is not only money; it's mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, and financial.WANT TO LISTEN MORE?Did you like this episode? Ep 568Part 2: How A Former Professional Athlete Creates Multiple Business Success

Joining Mark for this session are: Erik Peterson Teria Harris Mike Zaino Scott Bossman …and our special guest, Joshua D. Kalinowski! Listen in as the Land Geeks go around the table and ask Joshua questions about: The toughest hitter he has ever faced How does he leave the pain behind to move forward and reach his goalsWhat are his eight (8) businesses? What has been the best advice that his father has ever given to him that has made the most impact on his life? And, more! TIP OF THE WEEKJoshua: Just make sure you take your daily pill, and the pill of course is an acronym for something that you can do; just 4 things that you can do on a daily basis. I’d be happy to give you the resources for this here Mark as well too for your audience. Every day you want to do something painful. For me, just an example, it is getting into that stinking ice barrel bath that is about 40 degrees because I know that if I can tackle something hard in the morning, nothing can happen to me for the rest of the day that I can’t take on. Especially as a business owner, or as an entrepreneur, there is going to be something sometime. So painful, intentional; what is it intended that you are going to do that day that is going to help move your business forward or something that is important to move forward. Do something every single day that you are lazy at, something that you just avoid, that you hope somebody else is going to do, but you do know, at the end of the day that if you did it, it will make life easier for them and you would be happy that you got it done. Every day, make sure you do something that you love, what is it that you love to do, and make sure you have an opportunity to do that. Take the pill every single day; painful, intentional, lazy, and love. WANT TO LISTEN MORE? Did you enjoy this episode? Basically, if you want to conquer a major goal: Think big, start small, take action, and follow the steps in the article then you will achieve it.Todd: My tip is to act intentionally to create your financial security. What 75% of Americans do not do is make financial planning. Once you make that plan, take ownership with that plan, then wake up each day and ask yourself, "What can I do this day to help advance and to actualize that financial plan?" If you act with such intention, you can thank me later because the results are profound and it enables me, for example, to fast track my financial freedom. The website is called BreakCold.com and what this does is, send out automated emails as ice breakers to your buyer's list. It uses AI to go in and generate these quick little ice breakers. Allegedly, it is supposed to get you better responses, but not only will it send out emails, but it will also send out ice breakers on your LinkedIn if you are in that industry. It is a really cool tool. It is free for the first seven (7) days, so I would recommend you take advantage of that trial and if you like it, there’s a special going on where you can pay $25 instead of $49. You’ll be discouraged, it’s a down market, you’ll feel totally sick to your stomach, the values have dropped but that is the time to buy because of this one mantra which we all know but we have trouble following it and that is to buy low and sell high. Overcome your emotions and don’t be afraid. If you want to prevent disaster, nibble in. Joining Mark this week are: Scott BossmanMike ZainoTate LitchfieldScott ToddListen in as they go around the table and discuss what overpaying is. They further elaborate on capital recovery after purchasing and selling land and advise buyers to do a market analysis before purchasing a property. TIP OF THE WEEK Scott Todd: Forget Voxer, go to Volley. It’s the new Voxer. It’s Volleyapp.com. It’s Voxer with video. Voice is one level, eye to eye contact is another level. Think about that. Eye-to-eye contact is a whole different level than voice. When you can see someone’s face, you are able to see their reaction to things and see how they are delivering a message. It is a much better communication style than just listening to somebody talk. You can hear but you cannot see; now you get to hear as well as see the entire experience as opposed to questions or just responses. WANT TO LISTEN MORE? Did you enjoy this episode? Ep 525How To Invest In Real Estate And Grow Your Wealth

Jerome Maldonado is a serial investor and entrepreneur. He started his professional journey in traditional businesses where he was first introduced to team building, sales techniques, and real estate concepts. In 1998, Jerome pioneered a new construction company which he took to seven figures, in less than one year. Understanding the simple concepts and benefits of leasing real estate, he purchased a multi-use retail and commercial property to house his business. After years of hard work with minimal return, Jerome has built an eight-figure empire and has mentored people from around the world in sales, real estate, and business. Over the course of his career, Jerome has founded multiple highly successful businesses. Additionally, he is the founder of several other corporations and an investor and equity owner in several diverse companies and industries. Today, Jerome is excited to bring over 20 years of professional experience to the world’s business owners and entrepreneurs. Listen in as they discuss:Jerome’s real estate journey and his acquired successTraditional companies that he owns and the ownership processHis biggest lesson or take away from buying a distressed asset and rebuilding itFranchise real estateAnd, more!Jerome also shares with us the best advice he received from his parents.TIP OF THE WEEKMark: My tip of the week is going to change your life, go to Jeromemaldonado.com and learn more. Check out the courses, the speaking; you'll get smarter, tenacious, and be a better marketer.Scott: Check out this book, this is especially great for people who are overthinkers, it's Dream First, Details Later: How to Quit Overthinking & Make It Happen by Ellen Marie Bennett.Jerome: One of my favorite books is by Scott Alexander called Rhinoceros Success, it's a book I read over 25 years ago. What I like about Scott Alexander is he's very straightforward, straight to the point —real blunt. He talks about the difference between being a rhino or being a cow, and he compares it today, he uses that as an analogy. But then, he also talks a lot about faith, and I think the biggest takeaway from everything is, without faith you can't get anything done in life. It really is through the means of faith that keeps me going. Without faith, you can't level success to where you get to without it.WANT TO LISTEN MORE?Did you like this episode? Check out Joe’s newsletter, the books. Every aspect of marketing, he has you covered.Scott: Sometimes we just need a quick resource to go and check things out whether it’s a quote of the day or site of the day, check out this website called The Reference’s Desk (refdesk.com). What’s cool is they have a site of the day, like a fun fact, thought of the day, a book of the month. Joe: The book that I used as an entrepreneur, that helped me through all sorts of issues was Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. The big lesson in that is writing down your goals and reviewing those goals on a regular basis. That’s my secret that’s not a secret to success in entrepreneurship: I write down my goals, I have 5 or 6 main goals for every year that I look at and review them every day. And when you review them in the morning, you do different things based on those goals. This new book, I was surprised because I had low expectations on this book, it’s Greenlights by Mathew McConaughey. I really thought it’s not a good book, but I read it, he wrote down his goals on a regular basis and review them. Great lessons and I learned a lot about myself reading that book. The real focus on that is goal setting and goal reading.WANT TO LISTEN MORE?Did you like this episode? Listen in as they discuss:Steve’s journey to successAddressing a real or perceived problem you haveHow to get the influencers to acknowledge youTips you need to solve your problemMaking the impossible possibleAnd, more!Steve also share with us his most challenging A-list celebrity encounter and the worst advice he has seen or heard given in his area of expertise. We are in a world where far too many people are focusing on what they look like rather than what they solve ~ Steve SimsTIP OF THE WEEKMark: My tip of the week is learn more about Steve Sims, get the book BlueFishing: The Art of Making Things Happen and go to stevedsims.com. He's got a podcast, and of course, get the books!Scott: I just want everybody to take from this podcast what they want. One of the things I get from this podcast and it kind of aligns with what Steve said that solidifies it, and that is, everybody does something because they have a problem, everybody is looking and calling you about their land because they have a problem. So figure out how to solve their problem and the minute you solve their problem, you will not have any issues with money or sales. You just try solving out what problem they're trying to solve. Solve it!Steve: My tip is 'Challenge Yourself'. I think the trouble is we get into the rough and I constantly challenge myself. Challenging yourself doesn't mean you get into deals that are expensive. It could be listening to the different radio stations, it could be like trying an appetizer on a restaurant that you don't know what it is, it could be like turning left when you're supposed to turn right just to see the area of your neighborhood looks like. When you try something different, it gets your mind engages and builds up a habit that triggers like "oh, we're trying new things", in which you become open with new things. Try something different with low liability, low cost, and get your head to engage in building a habit to be open.WANT TO LISTEN MORE?Did you like this episode?
