PROOF Qui-Gon Jinn Would NEVER Join Dooku! [CANON] Tales of the Jedi

So this is an interesting question and one that was raised at the end of tales of the Jedi when dooku told Palpatine that Qui Gon could have been a powerful ally, had he not died. Sidious said, for you, and the conversation started to shift. So today, let’s discuss the possibilty of qui-gon actually turning away from the Jedi and joining dooku. Now before we begin we need understand qui-gon a little bit better for those new to the channel and to Star Wars. Qui-Gon was a maverick. He went his own way. He wasn’t on the Jedi council by choice, he knew the decisions he made and his overall view of the force was what made him unfit in the council’s eyes. For example, many fans would argue that qui-gon jinn’s use of the force to manipulate the chance cube with Watto was an act of the dark side, or rather, more in the middle of light and dark, grey some would call it. I always saw it as him balancing the odds since Watto’s chance cube was rigged by Watto himself. Qui-Gon was all about trusting the force, and believing balance was key. This is why he would have literally been the best father figure and teacher to Anakin, preventing his whole downfall. Now, here’s an excerpt from the book master and apprentice which is canon. It’s a quote from qui-gon jinn to rael aveross who was once Dooku’s apprentice that Qui-Gon grew close with. "I don't turn toward the light because it means someday I'll 'win' some sort of cosmic game. I turn toward it because it is the light." This line right here, helps us all see how qui-Gon really thought. That he didn’t use the light side because he felt elitist or like it’s the higher level thinking way of using the force. He uses it because it’s the light, and there is no other option. While I do think Qui-Gon was growing very weary of the Jedi as time passed, including their poor belief in his reveal of fighting the first Sith Lord in a millennia, I don’t think he would have joined the dark side. Now, that’s not to say he wouldn’t have joined Dooku. Quite the opposite, I believe he would have joined dooku, however I don’t think he would have turned to the dark side. He wouldn’t have turned his back on obi-wan or anakin, I felt he was so deep in the light side that he felt using the force for anything that can be seen as the greater good while killing and causing turmoil against many innocents, would not be the jedi way, and for that reason I feel he would distance himself from his former master. He would for sure agree with Dooku when it came to how the jedi had become corrupt with politics and the dealings of the senate, but actually making decisions and collaborations with a sith lord like darth sidious, and knowing dooku was now darth tyranus, he wouldn’t ever accept such a title or position for himself. I think Qui-Gon’s ability to gauge what is the true meanin of the force and what is just the Jedi council bein brainwashed by politics and the senate, is what made him such an interesting character. What if Dooku Went to Qui-Gon's Funeral in Tales of the Jedi?

During the 4th episode of tales of the Jedi, titled Sith Lord, we arrive at the moment where Qui-Gon’s funeral is about to commence. During this funeral, we didn’t see Count Dooku at all. Which is weird, considering he was qui-gon's master and the closest to him. In this episode we finally get the proper canon answer as to why Dooku didn’t go and what I think would have happened, if he had. Yaddle tells Dooku that the funeral is to be held on Naboo soon. Dooku says he doubts he’ll be pleasant company and she asks if he holds the council accountable. Dooku turns to look at her and callously says Qui-Gon has become one with the force, it’s time to let him go. So, from this we know two things. Dooku blames the council for Qui-Gon’s death, but more importantly, him not being there says a lot about what would have happened. Dooku would have probably tried to fight all of them, mainly Mace Windu and Yoda. I don’t think it would have ended well for him against Yoda, but with him tapping into the dark side, I believe he would have stood a fair chance against all the other Jedi. Why Padme Was Made to Look Pregnant During the Funeral in Tales of the Jedi

During the funeral in both revenge of the Sith and tales of the Jedi, we saw padme’s lifeless body being mourned in Theed city on Naboo with hundreds of thousands of people there paying their respects. In tales of the Jedi we learned that Ahsoka was actually in the crowd as well, and while this of course wasn’t in revenge of the Sith, so don’t bother trying to find her like Waldo in the crowd, as she didn’t exist at the time since George Lucas hadn’t released the clone wars series yet. She was seen in her gown holding the japor snippet that anakin had given her when he was 9 on the ship and we see her as pregnant. It is confirmed in the Revenge of the Sith novel, that Yoda orders her to have a pregnant bump during the ceremony because he doesn't want the empire to think the children are still alive, and for Palpatine and Vader to come looking for what they think is just one child. Count Dooku Will KILL Yaddle in Tales of the Jedi

In the new Star Wars Tales of the Jedi trailer from D23 alongside The Mandalorian Season 3 Trailer and the Andor trailer, we got to see a ton of new scenes from the show. One scene in particular was the moment where Yaddle was in The Works and was fighting Jedi Master Dooku, who was still wielding his blue lightsaber at this time. I believe Dooku will kill Yaddle, and that will be the reason she is no longer in the prequel trilogy, alongside Yoda. I believe Dooku will hide her true reason for defeat, and he will have to eventually leave the Jedi Order as we all know. I think this show will be one of the best new shows Star Wars has to offer us and I am very excited for it. I hope we see a ton of new character growth and development with Ahsoka while she trains with Anakin Skywalker, as well as her journey beyond Revenge of the Sith (after clone wars season 7 with Darth Maul). I Think I Know who The Dark Jedi is - Ahsoka Show

so a lot of speculation during the live stream took place and many were saying they believed it’s a survivor from order 66. Now while some media outlets have stated this as factual, it hasn’t been confirmed by Lucasfilm. So this leads me to wander off into my own theory, which is the whole point of the channel. First of all, what do we know about this guy, nothing but we can see he is wearing some old republic high republic type of armor. We also see his lightsaber emitter has a bit of a sword design to it, like a knight. He looks like Valkorion from the old republic, the old powerful sith emperor, however, I don’t think that’s who he is, despite his appearance resembling him. He has a padawan, named Shin, she has a jedi braid, if you look closely you might see it. Ray Stevenson in an interview with comicbook dot com said that Baylan is a man who will get to his destination no matter what, that he has a quest, and at first he’ll ask you to step aside, and if you don’t, he will make you because there’s something far greater than him. And by that I think he means Thrawn. So this is a force user who has obviously some intellect, and isn’t some power hungry maniac who will just move anyone in his way. He’ll first try to reason and use his brain, which tells me he’s probably really powerful. Ray Stevenson also said that Baylan has been thrown into the mix as a catalyst and when you put him in there, a massive reaction will happen. When we first see Baylan he appears to be in the world between worlds. I believe this because of the background which looks just like it did in rebels when ezra and ahsoka were in there, however, this could also be just a place that’s encompassing them in a hologram of a star system that leads to perhaps the world between worlds or elsewhere. However, I truly think, with the flooring included, this is the WBW. I think as Ahsoka was passing by different doors to different realms, including Anakin’s with Obi-Wan on Mustafar, we get one of two possible theories. One, she finds this door and walks into it, and they end up having disagreements, fight, and he escapes through the portal with her, ending up in current times. Thrawn finds him, and recruits him. The other possibility, and this is far fetched, but what if the leaks are true? What if the leaks of Ahsoka fighting Anakin or talking to Anakin on Mustafar instead of Obi-Wan in Revenge of the Sith actually happens, and Anakin doesn’t end up cut up and burnt? What if this character, is actually an aged Anakin, because at this point in the timeline, 7 years after return of the Jedi, Vader would be 54 years old, and Baylan looks to be 54. It’s a wild wacko theory, but it would be kind of cool to see what a full powered full potential anakin skywalker would be like. This could also be a being from the high republic, and i don’t say old republic because that’s just too many thousands of years ago. I think in Jedi Survivor the antagonist is a jedi from the high republic who has been frozen in time that Cal Kestis helped escape, probably out of the goodness of his heart, or because he knew the Jedi could be saved after finding him or seeking him out. So like in this one, perhaps this is a Jedi from the high republic that is loyal to Thrawn. This could be why his lightsaber is orange, which indicates a split between light and dark. The final theory is that he’s just a survivor or order 66 with his padawan, Shin, who has a padawan braid. She is using the same old tech that Obi-Wan used during the prequel trilogy when she’s flying, so these two could just be survivors of order 66 that were saved by Thrawn and are loyal to him.
