You see, in the comics, Jocasta was still alive long after Order 66. She remained in the temple and protected the archives, namely, the restricted section. The very same archives that housed the dark saber for many years after the death of Tarre Vizsla. It was here that she found the grand inquisitor, as well as Vader himself. Now, Vader was after her because she possessed the data drive that had all the force sensitive children in the galaxy known to the Jedi and where to find them. This was the Jedi order’s list of new force sensitives to recruit. They would find these children, and bring them back to the temple to be trained from infancy. This was very valuable to Palpatine and Vader for many reasons. 1 to complete Order 66. 2. To possibly be used for Palpatine’s experiments with cloning force sensitives or harbouring their blood as he tried with Grogu in the Mandalorian and 3. For Palpatine to replace Vader with now that he isn’t as strong as Anakin Skywalker would have been had he not lost to Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar. Vader apprehends Jocasta and if you want to see the full story in order of comics released, you can either buy the Marvel comics, or check out my coverage and explanation of them on the channel with sound fx, voice acting and music. Vader grabbed the data chip from her and saw all the names when plugging it into his ocular lenses. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P29v5GtoaXw&t=4s Jocasta Nu met her untimely demise at the hands of Vader aboard an LAAT gunship and then immediately crushed the data chip with all the names of force sensitives, locations, and birthdays. He wouldn’t ever be replaced by the Emperor, and so he destroyed the chip and when Palpatine asked him if he found anything of value, he lied telling his master, no, nothing. The treachery amongst the Sith knows no bounds. Vader destroying this information might have done more harm than good. It would have been valuable to know the list of many future Jedi or Sith out there, but now we may never know. I believe it was Jocasta Nu who saved Grogu. He was heavily guarded, and maybe there were more younglings who were being guarded, but for now it looks like it was just him. I believe he was a special case in the sense that he was very rare. We’ve only seen 3 yoda species in Star Wars to date, yoda, yadel, and now Grogu. I believe Grogu was extremely powerful and may have been able to stop that wave of 501st troopers, allowing Jocasta to get him to safety behind a closed door or hidden wall. Either that, or, Grogu was already safe and he was watching what was happening on a giant security monitor where Jocasta had taken him. Jocasta was alive for several months after Revenge of the Sith, this gave her enough time to get Grogu off world, or to keep him with her under her watchful eye. What could have happened was, she wiped his memory when things got a bit dangerous. When the Empire began to take control of the Jedi temple and she saw the shock troopers coming in. Then when the grand inquisitor arrived and then Vader soon after, that could have been when she wiped Grogu’s memory and then possibly shipped him off somewhere on auto pilot, or sadly left him at the temple where the Empire found him and brought him to Palpatine. I like to think she sent him off to someone and his journey and adventure surviving order 66 begins with that person, who eventually falls to the empire, maybe an inquisitor or Vader himself, and has his mind wiped then and there as he’s captured. I’m very excited to discover more behind Grogu’s experience with order 66 and his survival as well as his interactions and abilities during his time at the Jedi temple with yoda, Mace Windu, Dooku, qui-gon and more. In the return of the jedi making of book, George Lucas explains that everyone in Star Wars can use the force. EVERYONE. It is only the ones who train for it, that develop it. How do you think Watto would do as a force user? Would he have a high potential, or would he be mediocre? If Anakin never trained, how do you think he would be? Obi-Wan had to train very hard in order to be as good as he was, while Mace Windu didn't need as much training to achieve his results. I have noticed from the Jedi Survivor live reaction video I did with the Star Wars community, that the lightsabers seem to have changed a bit in this new game following Jedi Fallen Order. The lightsabers seem to be longer in some scenes and unless this is a glitch or something (which I don't believe it to be so) I think Lucasfilm is following the old Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast style where you can change your lightsaber type/strength/length. Much like in Star Wars history, we actually get lightsabers with a knob which can change the blade length and power. I believe Qui-Gon Jinn used this very feature on his lightsaber in the phantom menace when he tried to get into Nut Gunray's quarters. here's some lore on the matter. In Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, were were supposed to get a much different outcome when it came to Anakin Skywalker vs Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar...this battle was much more action packed and epic, especially where Anakin uses the force to create a lava Tsunami at his Jedi Master, which would have been super cool!! At the end of Andor we got an end credits scene, where we saw the many pieces of machinery that cassian and the rest of the inmates in the secret prison were constructing day in and day out. What looked like an upgraded version of buzz droids constructing these pieces, flipped over to create the massive dish of the Death Star, we finally got to see everything come into play. we start the final episode off at the Repaak Salyard on Ferrix, where Wilmon Paak builds a pipe bomb with the hologram of his late father next to him to inspire his fight against the empire. as we flip over to Dedra landing in a t4-a lambda class shuttle. Whenever you see one of these, there’s usually a high ranking imperial in there, or vader or palpatine themselves with troopers. Star Wars Andor Episode 12, the Finale, doesn't need any fan service. We don't need to see Palpatine or Boba Fett or Palpatine, but I think it would be cool nonetheless. I think not having these main characters in the show, bolsters their presence, or rather, lack thereof, even more. However, I could see Palpatine showing up at the end at the senate hearing, as well as the Empire hiring Boba Fett or some Bounty Hunter to capture Cassian Andor, as the Empire's ISB continuously fails. with the climactic ending to episode 10 with all the prisoners escaping, Kino Loy staying back due to his fear of swimming, and the guards hiding in fear, we start tonight’s episode off immediately as Andor and Melshi, who is the main rebel leader that led the attack on scarif in Rogue One, hang from the side of the massive cliff as they evade the Empire searching for them. in the 10th episode of Andor we saw all the inmates finally break free but Kino, due to his inability to swim. He was left behind and we don’t know if we’ll ever see him again in the show. Personally I think he’s as likable as Cassian if not more, and I’d love to see him as a regular on the show. Now in universe, I would have to say he hopefully found a way off that prison. There must be a way for guards to get out of there, unless they’re all trapped too, in which that would be an insane scheme by the Empire, to literally kill off anyone and everyone there. I don’t think that’s the case, as then the guards would soon join the inmates in rebelling and finding a way out of there. They obviously are able to get out of there, so Kino has to use his smarts to get to the lower levels somehow, and either get a ship to leave on his own, or if the empire has scheduled transfers that pick up and drop off, he could disguise himself as an officer and get out of there. I hope he wasn’t just a catalyst for Cassian to get off that prison island. Here’s what actor andy serkis who plays Kino Loy has to say about Kino surviving "Oh wow, I hadn’t thought of that. I mean, the thing is, yeah, that would be an amazing thing. I don’t know what the future holds for Kino Loy. Who knows? He might be stuck on that ship, or whatever, I don’t know. But let’s see. I haven’t had any discussions yet. But I don’t know, we’ll have to see what everybody thinks of it and the outcome." now let’s play along and pretend he’s telling the truth when he said he hasn’t had any discussions with tony gilroy about the fate of Kino Loy. If that were the case, then usually in Star Wars, we know anyone can be brought back if we don’t see them die. Oh wait…insert child reva, insert maul, insert reva as adult. So the fact that Kino is just roaming the halls of the ship while the guards are cowering in fear, tells me he has a few minutes to get out of there before he’s arrested. Now if he were to be arrested, I think the empire would either terminate him, or send him somewhere else to another one of these facilities where he won’t break free from. Perhaps one stationed in space. Now a popular fan theory is that he actually will be punished by the empire and turned into Snoke through experimentation and that’s why Snoke has the same voice as him. Obviously that’s just a funny made up thing that we fans like to create, like all the old snoke theories. And hey, as one last hurrah, I’d love to make another snoke theory video, just for fun. Starting this episode off, we don’t skip a beat as we see Cassian and Kino speak to one another in private, where Cassian is pushing Kino to cooperate with him and rebel tomorrow. They know that this place isn’t about serving a sentence, but rather working until death. Cassian believes they’re afraid, that’s why thye fried 100 men on that bridge, Kino thinks it’s power. Cassian convincese him otherwise and explains that power doesn’t panic and kill off a bridge. He says he’d rather die trying to take them down than die giving them what they want. You can see the inner turmoil within Kino, and as Cassian enters his cell block, he informs all the other inmates of what is really happening at the prison. Kino finally joins in and explains everything in his own words, he’s on board, and believes it’s time to attack tomorrow. The crew wakes up as they succesffully tick off another day, but this time it doesn’t matter. Kino says to his men he’s assuming he’s already dead. They have nothing to lose and its go time. As Cassian tries to break out of jail, it reminded me of the great escape. Bix is exhausted, and she reveals all the information about Cassian to the Empire. In Andor episode 7, we had Cassian's flashback of the Clone Troopers during the empire, roughly 2-3 years AFTER Revenge of the Sith, where Anakin Skywalker met his demise as the hands of Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar and turned into the suited Darth Vader. Why are Clone Troopers still around during this time of the Empire? Why aren't there stormtroopers? The answer is because it took time for the Clones to be thrown out, and for the Stormtroopers to take their place. Palpatine wanted a grand army, he didn't care anymore for the costly use of Clone Troopers. The Empire holds a meeting at the ISB, and the admiral speaking is Yularen. This is a big character for those who are new to Star Wars. Admiral Yularen fought against the CIS during the clone wars and worked alongside Anakin Skywalker. He later of course as we see, joined the Empire as Colonel and worked very closely alongside Grand Admiral Thrawn. Tonight’s episode starts off with syril at home, and he’s emotionally devastated for his failure. He feels responsible for the Empire getting involved with primo organization and for going against his boss’s orders. He’s sitting with his mother and having a bowl of space cereal with blue milk. Episode 4 I really enjoyed. While I feel casual Star Wars fans may find it too slow, I found it to be really engaging with the lore and overall trajectory of where the show will go. Andor episodes 1-3 had many flashbacks of young Cassian Andor with his tribe, as they see a ship crash landing with plumes of green smoke. Maarva claims these are Republic pilots however, we see the symbol on their suits claim otherwise. This symbol is of the CIS, Count Dooku's CIS, that is. Andor is dark and gritty and definitely brings a new feel to the galaxy of Star Wars, however the first 3 episodes were way too slow and dragged out unnecessarily. I think the show will be interesting for sure, however taking so long to explain such a simple story so far didn't need to take up 3 episode slots of the 12 we get. Cassian Andor is a gateway to develop more of the Empire and to show us the senate that Palpatine eventually dissolves. I hope we see Krennic, Tarkin, Vader, and Palpatine at some points in the show. Let's discuss Sith and Jedi battle meditation (not what you think it is!) from the Star Wars Darth Bane novel. You might think battle meditation is about Qui-Gon Jinn meditating infront of Darth Maul, or something like that, but it actually isn't anything like that at all. It doesn't have as much to do with one sitting and meditating, as much as it does controlling an entire war through the force. Thrawn theorizes that Palpatine used battle meditation during Return of the Jedi, and when he died, that's when things went sideways. It's only a theory, but it does make you think. Anakin Showed up in Episode 3 with a scar just to the corner of his right eye, something reminiscent to Scar in the Lion King. I suppose Lucas' point of putting it there was to symbolize his growth from the boy we saw in attack of the clones to a hardened and much more mature Anakin Skywalker in Revenge of the Sith. Captain Howzer Ballast surprised a lot of us in The Bad Batch Episode 11. It almost seems like the inhibitor chip has worn off or that he never even executed order 66 in the first place. His demeanour is so reasonable and so much like the clones during the clone wars, and so little like them after Revenge of the Sith. What do you think the deal with him is?
