Star Wars The Mandalorian Episode 4 is out! Here's my extensive review and breakdown of it, along with my thoughts and theory on the next episode(s). What did you think of this one? A bit slow, and a bit of a Clone Wars style episode. You know, where the heroes team up on a recluse planet with a primitive civilization as they save them from a bigger local threat. It was cool, but I feel like it didn't progress the main story much, just worked on the character arcs of Cara Dune (who was really cool). Why did Obi-Wan Kenobi train Luke Skywalker earlier? I believe if he had gone with his gut instinct and ignored the nay sayers, we would have a completely different timeline. A much stronger Luke would have grown and his accomplishments would have been far superior to what we saw in Return of the Jedi. Is Darth Plagueis REALLY dead? All the signs from the legends book, and the powers he possessed and his personality in general, could point to otherwise. He had the ability to essence transfer, his main force power was force illusion, and he had the ability to sense deep into the future. Added to this, he could move as fast as a bolt of lightning...Sidious used bolts of lightning to "kill" him...so many signs point to his possible return...now...If Disney decides to bring him back or not, who knows...but here's the evidence to back it if they do. As requested, I will take all the evidence we have both Canon and Legends to hypothesize where Luke got his crystal for his lightsaber. Since Canon now says lightsaber crystals are all the same and merely change due to the user's intentions/force powers, then we can't say the crystal was green to begin with, however we can analyze whether or not the Kyber Crystal has been used from Qui-Gon Jinn's or not.
