10th brother is one of the coolest inquisitors. I was hoping he'd survive longer than he did and to be offed so easily like he was in the comics, however as we have seen, films and shows don't take comic knowledge into consideration. So it is possible we may see him someday in a Disney plus Star Wars spin off show. It would have been fun to get a reference to him in Obi-Wan Kenobi, even though he was long gone at that point. I believe Star Wars fans are the most passionate fandom on the planet. Yes, they are the hardest to please, but that's because they expect the best, and Disney is tumultuous with that delivery. Do NOT be swayed by the loud minority of actual toxic Star Wars fans, we all know who they are when we see their comments and tweets, but they don't speak for all of us. I think it's incorrect to make such a blanket statement saying Star Wars fans are the most toxic of any fandom. I see them as the most passionate of humans. At the end of the day, we are just that, people, with flaws like the characters we idolize, so our ways of handling such a passionate franchise comes with poor handling, which can always be fixed. In Obi-Wan Kenobi show episode 4 in the Inquisitorious HQ, we see him save Leia from the chamber guarded by just 2 storm troopers. As he hacks away, obi-wan's lightsaber BOUNCES off. PADME! Qui-Gon Jinn! Turning Anakin back! These were some things I would have liked to have seen incorporated into the fight at one point or another, where Vader would either go full rage or he'd be broken down a bit and have to talk with Obi-Wan about everything (or some things) that happened to him. In the Obi-Wan Kenobi show, Qui-Gon Jinn appears finally to Obi-Wan Kenobi at the very end, after his duel with Anakin / Vader. I see many people saying that it breaks canon from George Lucas's Star Wars, and I agree. However, now that it's in the hands of Disney, I don't mind. Their choices don't really align with George's vision anyway, so a lot of this is really just fan fiction with the original actors for me. I fully agree and respect John Boyega for being honest. the Last Jedi's writing and portrayal of Luke Skywalker was a slap in the face to George Lucas and Star Wars fans. In Obi-Wan Kenobi's life, two people were at the pinnacle of importance to him, Anakin and of course his Jedi Master, Qui-Gon Jinn. In the book Dark Lord the Rise of Darth Vader, we get to learn about Qui-Gon giving his thoughts to Obi-Wan Kenobi regarding Anakin Skywalker turning to the dark side and becoming Darth Vader. I hope we get something like this in the obi-wan kenobi show on disney plus. I think it'd be amazing to see Liam Neeson return to play Qui-Gon Jinn, once again since the phantom menace. In the obi-wan kenobi show, Reva tells Obi-Wan Kenobi that Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader is alive. This was to Kenobi's surprise! This is 10 years after Star Wars Revenge of the Sith when Anakin Skywalker lost to Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar during Order 66. In the original version before disney bought Star Wars from George Lucas, there was a really great novel, Dark Lord the Rise of Darth Vader, where Obi-Wan Kenobi learns that Vader is alive from a holo Net recording in a cantina. For me, this episode was a massive win. It portrayed Vader exactly how he should be, and how he is in the games and comics. It showed the beautiful training with Anakin and Obi-Wan and tied it into how each of them felt later on now in present day. It was magnificent. I really enjoyed this episode. kenobi wakes up in a hazy daze. somehow Vader actually let Kenobi go and the fire stopped him. I hope this is addressed in the next 2 episodes because if it’s not, it won’t make any sense. As he’s put in the bacta tank which accelerates his healing of burn wounds from Vader’s carnage, he seems to be connecting with Vader at the same moment in the bacta tank. If Vader is not on the field, he’s always in his bacta tank. His immense physical pain is something that is only somewhat subsided when he’s in his bacta. This is why his skin looks a bit more healed by the time return of the jedi rolls around, compared to now. Vader and Kenobi seem to be sensing one another and it seems they each have their emotions linked or triggered by thoughts of the other. I think this would have been a great time to see Vader remember fighting Obi-Wan, maybe a new angle of him reaching out for Kenobi on Mustafar, just as Obi-Wan is seeing what Vader just did to him. They get out of the bacta, and speak to Roken about where Leia is. Roken talks about how the inquisitors found his wife for being force sensitive or a jedi and took her. Roken figures out she’s at the inquisitor’s stronghold, where is in the middle of the ocean on the Nur moon in the Mustafar system. They recognize this is Vader’s system, which I guess is the first time Kenobi hears of it, and I would have liked to see a reaction from him about Mustafar. They decide to head over to the Inquitor’s HQ and save Leia. Reva interrogtaes Leia, telling her she knows of a safe house of Jedi in two star systems. She suspects Leia of knowing after telling her Obi-Wan died from Vader’s hand. I’m not sure why she’d suspect Leia of knowing anything, as she’s just the senator’s daughter. If Obi-Wan Kenobi doesn't fight Vader again, then it breaks George Lucas line from AnNew Hope where Vader tells Kenobi, "When I left you I was but the learner, now I am the master." This last fight, Vader clearly won. So Vader and Kenobi will have to fight again, and Vader will have to lose. Maybe he leaves Kenobi via a Imperial shuttle firing upon Kenobi as Vader is battle damaged. Either way, I hope we get another fight, and this time it's super intense! In Obi-Wan Kenobi, one thing I noticed was ho timid and not very aggressive Vader was when fighting his old master. I was a bit underwhelmed to see this as I thought after 10 years, he would be full of pent up rage. I. have pondered over the last few days about this, and I think I have a decent theory about it. In Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 3, Vader beat Kenobi in a fairly easy lightsaber duel. The last time they met as Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, we all know who won, but this time, it wasn't even a question. I don't even know if this can be called a fair fight, because Obi-Wan wasn't even really fighting. He was just more scared than everything. In obi-wan Kenobi episode 3, Vader went full dark side on the town people while Obi-Wan watched. I believe there was more to this than just 'Vader being evil Sith Lord'. I read a lot of comments questioning why Vader did this, what his motive really was, and I think I have found it, at least in theory. I think Vader was trying to show obi-wan that Anakin Skywalker was long gone, and that he is so far from the Jedi at this point, that he's doing all these things to innocent people. kenobi is once again reaching out to qui gon jinn, his old master. I guess in these 10 years he hasn’t been able to reach him. Yoda’s training hasn’t gone too well I guess. as he hears voices of the past, like yoda telling him only pain will you find, qui gon’s plea to train anakin, reverberations of anakin on mustafaor, we see Vader being put together, really connecting the fact that anakin and vader are now the same person physically. obi wan can feel vader, and tells quigon that he is coming. I think it's acceptable to critique a character. It is however, NOT acceptable to berate and bother an actor. This has been done for decades with Hayden Christensen, Jake Lloyd, Ahmed Best and more. In Obi-Wan Kenobi, we are about to get a massive duel with Vader against his former master, Obi-Wan. I think it is going to be insane and go completely opposite to how he (Kenobi) thinks it will. obi wan lands on Daiyu, and we learn this is a crime ridden world where secrets are kept, kind of like what happens on daiyu, stays on daiyu. Obi-Wan speaks to Qui-Gon but gets nothing back, asking for guidance as a Clone Trooper, can be seen begging for credits. the Clone is a 501st trooper, this was one of the clones fighting at the jedi temple with anakin, later called Vader’s fist. They became obsolete to the emperor as palpatine didn’t care anymore for soldiers who could fight, but rather sheer army size, which is why he conscripted anyone to enlist in becoming a stormtrooper. He doesn’t recognize obi-wan most likely because he’s drunk and doesn’t seem to be all there. The empire doesn’t want clones anymore, they want stormtroopers. Learn more about your ad choices.
