Star Wars Theory

Hey guys, bit of a different episode today. I had fun making it, and I hope you enjoy it :) Boba's ship - Slave 1 was always one of my favourite ships as a kid, so here are some top facts found about the ship from around the web. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Common question I see asked irl and online, and we have an official answer as to why Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi didn't burn up during their duel on the lava on Mustafar, so here it is! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

In Star Wars The Last Jedi, we get to see the First Order's new ability, Hyperspace Tracking. This is something Palpatine had been working on during the times of the Galactic Empire, as we even saw in Rogue One. Just HOW did Snoke learn of this new ability that helped the First Order find the Resistance? How could this play into Kylo Ren now as Supreme Leader? Learn more about your ad choices. In the Legends Comic Empire, we see Palpatine's officers and stormtroopers try to overthrow him, to seize his throne! This doesn't go according to plan, for them, when Sidious UNLEASHES UNLIMITED POWAAAAAA just like he did against Mace Windu in Revenge of the Sith with Anakin Skywalker. In Star Wars The Last Jedi...we didn't get ANY Snoke backstory info. Why? When will we? When could we? I was hoping to get some of his story in the last jedi, however due to reasons explained in this episode by the directors, we will have to wait for that... Did you like the ending to Luke Skywalker? What about Rey's powers in the film? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

In the new episode of Star Wars Rebels, we got a big piece of information...the realm within the jedi temple on Lothal. Could this place be the way Palpatine was planning to cheat death?? Was this his way of staying immortal? What if Ahsoka went in there and warned Anakin of what he will do with Order 66, and how it will actually kill Padme? What if Darth Vader went in there and told Anakin to beware of his choices? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Right after Star Wars A New Hope, Darth Vader was sent spiralling off into the galaxy at the destruction of the Death Star. Did you ever wonder where he went? This comic story (Legends) now explains just what happened to him, where he went to the planet Vaan and had a very nasty encounter with a pack of Hyenax (space Hyenas) in Star Wars Empire issue 14. In Star Wars The Last Jedi we got to see Snoke's massive Obsidian ring (when speaking to Rey and Kylo Ren) taken from the catacombs beneath Darth Vader's Castle on Mustafar (where Anakin Skywalker lost to Obi-Wan Kenobi). The visual dictionary has told us where the ring is from, however if we go back to Rogue One, we can gather even more info from all of this for today's theory. Do you think Luke Skywalker ever went to Darth Vader's Castle? When did Snoke go there? Before or after Vader's life? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

What do you think he is concealing? Do you think Snoke projected everything? Just like Luke Skywalker did at the end of the film? Did Kylo Ren just do this himself somehow, in order to turn Rey? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

In Star Wars, the force choke has been used and feared throughout time...but just how far could it be used? We've seen Darth Vader use it over screens, while Palpatine has used it on Count Dooku from lightyears away...so just how far...is far???!! Learn more about your ad choices. In Disney Gallery on The Mandalorian Season 2 all about Luke Skywalker, we got to see Dave Filoni, Jon Favreau and the rest of the team at Lucasfilm discuss the epic return of Luke Skywalker/Mark Hamill. The moment was monumental for me and so many other star wars fans who had a strong reaction to Luke Skywalker saving Grogu and the team. It warms my heart knowing Jon and Dave are such legitimate fans of Star Wars. I fully believe the stories they will tell in the future will be beyond our wildest dreams. This is awesome!!! Dave Filoni, once again, blew my mind and answered an age old question regarding what would have happened to Mace Windu had he killed Palpatine. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

In this episode covering James Luceno's Labyrinth of Evil, we get (finally) some beautiful prequel meme-esque love for Anakin's relationship with sand. It's coarse, rough, and irritating, and it gets... Dooku overhears something Anakin tells Obi-Wan Kenobi during their quest, to which Dooku realizes that Anakin isn't to be destroyed by Sidious, he is to be TURNED into a Sith Lord!! His thoughts on the subject are rather interesting in an otherwise funny excerpt. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Dave Filoni understands Star Wars. This was the most eloquent speech about the prequels and Vader's arc I have ever heard, and it's all canon. I have so much respect for Dave. I think he's truly an amazingly talented man, and the true apprentice to George Lucas. I hope one day he will helm all creative decisions at Lucasfilm. Learn more about your ad choices. Today's episode is a big one. I purchased and read Bob Iger's book regarding his journey as CEO of Disney. The Star Wars chapter was the one that caught my interest the most. He goes into great detail regarding how he pitched the idea of buying Lucasfilm from George Lucas all the way to signing the deal, to making The Force Awakens and how George felt along the entire process. It's a very interesting story and I'm glad the world gets to learn about it officially from Bob Iger himself. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Lightsabers can burn and melt through almost any material in Star Wars. However, do they actually produce heat? In today's new comic episode, Count Dooku, in canon, shows his point of view on the fight between Darth Maul and his former apprentice, Qui-Gon Jinn. Almost blaming the padawan for allowing his Master to die, he wonders what would have happened if he had not left the Jedi order, and had fought Darth Maul himself. If he had, he would have won, I think, and Qui-Gon would have gone to train Anakin Skywalker...changing the fate of the galaxy, entirely... What do you think?? Learn more about your ad choices. In Legends Star Wars Comic issue 14 by Dark Horse Comics, we get a secret mission that Vader goes on before all others catch wind of it...and with it...comes a slight disagreement with the stormtroopers...quite the mistake, for them...This is easily one of the most brutal killings Vader has done to his men. In Star Wars a New Hope, Obi-Wan transcended into the realm of a force ghost as Darth Vader struck the final strike with his lightsaber. As you'll hear in this episode, Qui-Gon Jinn shows up to tell him to go to Luke, as well as all the other pieces of Obi-Wan's life that he goes through as he transitions between realms...What could this mean for Luke Skywalker? Yoda? Qui-Gon? Snoke???? Is this what becoming a force ghost is really like? Going back and forth between different parts of one's life? Learn more about your ad choices. In Star Wars The Last Jedi, we have confirmation by StarWarsNews net that Luke Skywalker will be wearing Darth Vader's Lightsaber Kyber Crystal around his neck. What's interesting about this is that it's merely just a fragment of his crystal, which leads me to wonder...is that what Kylo Ren is after? Is that what he wants? Could it be the missing piece to his cracked crystal in his ancient lightsaber design that Snoke has helped him to construct? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

In Star Wars, the Sith used the force with their many emotions, fuelling their powers constantly. Darth Maul used hatred. Star Wars rumors report that Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew could dive deeper into other aspects of force related ideas...such as Sith magic, or just magic itself. Acolyte is a show I'm looking forwards to a lot, if the rumors about the plot are indeed true. The idea of a girl who was betrayed by the Jedi, losing her whole family and village because of their betrayal, devoting herself to the dark side to destroy them, is something I think will definitely be a banger, if done well. Yoda is also around during this time..so that makes it interesting. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

"That's...good news..." Acolyte Star Wars show draws from a heavy handed question regarding how the Sith were able to return without the Jedi knowing during The Phantom Menace. Adam Driver in a recent interview has stated that he didn't have the best experience at a previous comic-con when The Force Awakens was just about to release. This was the first movie from Disney since they purchased Lucasfilm and the appearance of the mysterious Adam Driver who was going to play Kylo Ren, had thousands of fans in a frenzy. He reports it was scary and he's not anxious to go again. Hayden Christensen, Ewan McGregor, Mark Hamill, and many other Star Wars actors are often at Star Wars conventions. I hope one day Adam will appear at some comic cons and be open to take photos with his fans like the rest of the prequel and original trilogy actors. what do you think about this?
