Fatal Mentality #2: Fake Gratitude + False Achievement
EYour mindset is everything... It determines what you do, how you respond, and ultimately what results you get. What comprises your "mindset" is a series and combination of what I call "mentalities". If your mindset is your wardrobe, your mentalities represent the many outfits you own and can deploy at any given moment. Most are rigid, and have only 1-2 outfits. This leaves them stuck, frustrated and without hope in the face of so many of life's circumstances. Today I break down a deadly mindset, one where the subject tries desperately to receive themselves of pressure why being grateful and focusing on accomplishments.
Fatal Mentality #1: Dumb + Dumber
EYour mindset is everything... It determines what you do, how you respond, and ultimately what results you get. What comprises your "mindset" is a series and combination of what I call "mentalities". If your mindset is your wardrobe, your mentalities represent the many outfits you own and can deploy at any given moment. Most are rigid, and have only 1-2 outfits. This leaves them stuck, frustrated and without hope in the face of so many of life's circumstances. Over the next 8 episodes, I will be breaking down a fatal mentality I see so many have, and how to replace it with an entirely new mentality that will bring power, control and supreme confidence.
How to deal with anxiety (Throwback)
EThrowing it back to our "How to deal with anxiety" episode! "There will be no shortage of negative emotions that show up for you on your way to domination.....your job is to recognize it, and proceed with appropriate action. EThrowing it back to a major #Bars episode from one of the greatest... That's why Nas' lyric in this song hits so close to home. You must take on the attitude of Nas, and be "oblivious to your skeptics". This song is on heavy rotation, take a listen." #BARS
The Recipe for Domination (Throwback)
EThrowing it back to our "Recipe for Domination" episode! "There's a certain state of mind that one has to get into, once there's a certain result that has to be accomplished. The process isn't pretty, and it's not about balance; it's about sheer will... and it comes at a cost. Sacrifices will have to be made. It's about dominating at a different level, and few know what that looks like. In this episode, I break down that mindset."

EThe dreaded "imposter syndrome".....you decide what you want to accomplish, only to be plagued with feelings of unworthiness, doubt and indecision. "Am I even good enough?" Dominate The Morning Part 3: The 7 habits every high performer must have in their morning routine
EYour morning routine can be likened to a wardrobe... What's in it should reflect the nature, style, and preference of the individual. However, just like something as subjective as clothing, there are some Major Keys that every fly individual should have readily available in their closet. In today's episode, I show you the 7 habits that you must make sure to incorporate to your morning routine, no matter your personality type or style. While we don't want our routines to all look the same (like a catholic private school dress code), we also want to make sure we follow some key fundamentals. There are 7 MUSTS, and I break them down simply in this episode. Time Stamps: (0:49) Preface to today's episode (3:20) #1: Read (4:32) #2: Exercise (5:20) #3: Cleanse (6:33) #4: Meditate (6:52) #5: Money-review (7:33) #6: Review (8:00) #7: Power-Thoughts (9:00) Sneak-peek into tomorrow's finale episode To watch the video version, head to Sportsmotivationpodcast.com/DTM
Dominate The Morning Part 2: How to guarantee you wake up on time each morning (without fail)
EIt's one thing to have a great routine you've mapped out... but it's a totally different thing to actually wake up when you said you would. Even the most well intentioned, motivated "killas" find themselves hitting snooze, sleeping through their alarm clock, or even going to sleep with their phone next to their bed (this is a no-no). In today's installment of DTM , I show you my fail proof method for waking up on time, each morning, regardless of what happened the night before. Time Stamps: (0:49) Preface to today's episode (5:47) DO: Establish motivation (7:00) The DO's and DON'Ts (9:00) Your new morning gameplan To watch the video version, head to Sportsmotivationpodcast.com/DTM

You have been beaten over the head with lame, static, outdated advice; only serving to frustrate and interrupt your morning flow even more. That frustration ends TODAY. I show you the mindset and strategy behind truly dominant morning routines, and begin laying down the foundation for you to create a dominant morning routine yourself. Time Stamps (0:49) Preface to today's episode (8:50) The practical value of a morning routine (18:46) Major keys and fundamentals To watch the video version, head to Sportsmotivationpodcast.com/DTM
Do Over Series Part 4: I would invest heavily into HABITS and SYSTEMS!
EOne of the most valuable things I have learned throughout my many years in the "jungle", is the practical value of having the right systems and habits. One cannot rely only on motivation, and surely it's not smart to rely on the goodwill and strength of those around you. This is a recipe to be repeatedly let down. In the finale of the Do-Over series, I break down the importance of habits and systems, and I share a powerful system to create plans for goals that are so simple and effective that you will use it weekly and even daily. Do Over Series Part 3: I would choose my mate WISELY!
EChoosing the wrong mate can cause some of the worst pain known to you. A mistake here can cost you years of your life, potentially thousands of dollars, and mental stability. CHOOSE WISELY. In this episode, I share with you a powerful framework for choosing who you should date, invest in, and even marry, to virtually guarantee you remain aware of a bad decision as it starts to rear its head, and lead to investing in the right partner. To watch the rest of the training, go to sportsmotivationpodcast.com/love
Do Over Series Part 2: I would build my POWER CIRCLE!
EIn part 2, I break down the dangers of "going with the flow" when it comes to who you hang with. Influence is everything...and you're always being influenced (or doing the influencing). Too often we simply go with the flow, when instead we should be making deliberate boss-like decisions to decide who to invest our time with. In this episode, I break down my philosophy, mindset and strategy to build a dynamic power circle and grow at a fast rate.
Up on Game: How to be tougher and overall more beasty
EIn classic "rant" style, I share with you a groundbreaking method of thinking, and one that not many people have adopted. CAUTION: This episode is not for the soft hearted, I do not temper my language, thoughts, or reality laden advice. Proceed only if you are ready for a cold baptism in reality... #UpOnGame
Bars: How to deal with crisis and setbacks (from "Public Service Announcement" by Jay-Z)
EMost people, when confronted with obstacles, retreat, make excuses or try to advance without acknowledging there is a problem. All of these methods of dealing are foolish. In this classic Jay-Z track, he shares exactly what he does when there's a "drought".
Do Over Series Part 1: I would go "ALL IN"!
EIn this 4-part series, I break down what I would do if I could do it over again…. that's right, turn back the hands of time... these are habits and actions I would take to ensure I was at the top of the food chain in every jungle I was ever in. Instead of regretting and sulking, I am evaluating ruthlessly to identify my own mistakes, and share my practical gameplan to learn from mistakes to evolve at an even faster rate.

EHave you ever heard someone say "I just want to be happy"? Or maybe you have told yourself that you don't want something, because that is not going to make you "happy"? EThe implications and impact of COVID-19 on athletes and entrepreneurs alike cannot be argued. Leagues are shutting down. Businesses are tapping out. This storm is changing plans for so many. The question is this…. When the storm is over, will you be ready? Or will you then magically start to get ready? If that's your plan, I feel sorry for you. In this episode, Kobe breaks down his mindset towards big obstacles like these, and why it's so crucial to stay ready. Imnotyou.com/KI

Bars: Consistency... the ultimate fundamental to success (from "3 Feet From Gold" by Sharon Lechter)
EOnce you start reading a lot, accomplishing more, and experience higher levels of success, a new danger arises... you begin to think you know it all. Arrogance floods your judgement, and you begin to ignore the fundamentals that got you where you are. One of those fundamentals is consistency: the ability to show up, day in and day out, regardless of the circumstances. In this episode, I share a clip from the book "3 Feet From Gold" by Sharon Lechter, where she helps illustrate the power of this fundamental within powerful clarity. #Bars
Bars: Aggressive and Patient (from "Ground Zero" by Juelz Santana)
EWhen you are in the infant stages of your vision, there is a certain aggressiveness that must be present. You have to be able to bully your way into the game, and exhibit a brash confidence that is uncommon. In this track "Ground Zero", Juelz Santana points this out. However, there is also a patience that comes into play, knowing that you are not going to settle. This is the challenge. Harlem rapper Juelz lays out his philosophy, and I dig deeper. #BARS

Bars: Master Your Game (from "I'm Me" by Lil Wayne)
EToo often I see aspiring and ambitious high performers who claim to want to be the best, but do not commit to mastering the game like the greats. Do not be fooled; the ones you admire don't just talk. What distinguishes them is their commitment to mastery, and in this classic Lil Wayne track, he illustrates this point beautifully. #Bars
How to be more savage and ruthless
EMost people are soft. They lack courage, and hesitate to ask for (yet alone, demand) what they want. I do not wish that for you. I want you to be more savage and ruthless towards life, and create a reputation and standard for yourself that says "I know who I am and what I want. I get what I want from life, and I refuse to be stopped." In order to create that mindset and standard of action, you must work at it. Humans will default towards cowering under pressure unless held to a rigid code of ethics. In this episode, I break down 4 game-changing habits that will lead to a more savage and ruthless attitude and mindset. Bars: The power of anger (Classic Speech from Malcolm X)
EThe emotion of anger is often misunderstood. Most run from anger, in fear of alienating people, or doing something they regret. Instead, they opt to "fake" positivity, or sulk in sadness and helplessness. What Malcolm X suggests, is to channel the anger into constructive action. It is within your power to use anger to generate the personal power to create results... however, this remains up to you. In this episode I break down a clip from a classic Malcolm X speech where he illustrates the practical use of anger and how to use it to win your own revolution. Watch the full speech on YouTube: https://youtu.be/v3Ffhedw5IY
How to feel like a success every day
EMichael Jordan once said about Kobe Braynt "He's just as cursed as I am." The curse MJ was talking about was the constant desire to dominate, win and improve, at virtually any cost. You've decided what you want, and you are afflicted with the same desire to win, dominate, and master your craft. The problem that comes up is the incessant feeling that you are not doing enough. You're not making progress fast enough. Things could be better. What do you do with this feeling? How can you feel like a success every day, instead of constantly feeling like you're losing? In this episode, I break it down.
