Wrestling Mayhem Show 595: Six Star Matches

It's a full show this week as we've got Old School Burt LeGrand in studio with Sorg and Larry. As a special treat, we've got Tonio Garza joining us online, and Mad Mike makes a stop by in the second half. They're talking this week in wrestling, including: AJ Styles v Brock Lesnar? Thank you WWE. Does this mean we'll see AJ Styles v Shinsuke Nakamura for Starrcade? Survivor Series 2017 - we're talking some of our predictions and speculations. Burt is calling for an in-ring return of Daniel Bryan? Garza is talking some New Japan and Chris Jericho v Kenny Omega. So - we're getting something we normally don't get on the show. That's right, we're talking some Impact Wrestling. Apparently Alberto El Patron's promo was just weird. Impact Wrestling has a casting call for paid background actors? We go from Impact Wrestling to booking nostalgia matches (The Rock v Triple H or Triple H v Kevin Owens?). Triple H with The Shield = Perfect It's time for this week's Big Question: What would your Wrestle Kingdom dream match be? We have e-mail! (Kinda.) Stephen Amell is going to ROH? There was an intergender match tonight? Pete Dunne v Enzo Amore? Larry is confused, but okay with it. What did YOU learn in wrestling this week? Fan of the show, Brandon Mynatt, will be a participant in the 2018 Special Olympics as part of the Team Missouri Bowling Team. BOLD Sports: Episode 9

Matt and Steve have their Week 8 fantasy results for us before heading into this week's sports talk. The Penguins had a hot week with Phil Kessel's two overtime winning goals coming in at 299 and 300 respectively for his record. It was otherwise Murray's first bad showing. The MLB World Series game was a wild one. It's the homeruns ever in the playoffs! But, it's all about the pitching and the long ball for Matt and Steve. College football is going strong. Pitt has an ACC win over Virginia, but was their defense on point for the game? The guys otherwise pay homage to Henderson's punt return touchdown and the passing touchdown by DiNucci. Penn State started off great with Barkley taking the opening kickoff 97 yeards, but then squanders a 15-point lead in the 4th. They drop to #7. Notre Dame was otherwise a total ground game with lots of penalties. They've moved up to the #5 spot, though. The Steelers are at a 20-15 win-loss record. Juju had 195 yards and one touchdown, but Brown was held in check for the game. Matt and Steve share some additional thoughts as the Steelers head into their buy week. As they do, the guys wrap up this week's show with some BOLD predictions about NFL - Week 10. Steve has pulled ahead of Matt in this week's fantasy round-up with a 9-5 (versus Matt's 5-9) and it pulls him ahead in the season standings (by one). Braun Mode | Wrestling Mayhem Show 592

We’ve got a super special guest in studio this week – so super it’s even in his name! Super Hentai is on the sofa with Mainstream Mat. Sorg is on the switcher. And, we’ve got Mad Mike on the interwebs as we’re talking all the things in wrestling, including:
Matt can’t take Bray Wyatt anymore. We’re getting a professional opinion from a professional wrestler about Bray Wyatt with our guest Super Hentai. Dear WWE: Give us a Bray Wyatt 180 as a southern preacher like Jake the Snake with his white snake days. Mad Mike is upset that Kurt Angle talked through the sierra, hotel, India, echo, Lima, delta part of the Shield’s entrance theme. WTH WWE? 5 on 3? Really? Mad Mike wants Asuka v EVERY WOMAN. Matt wants Asuka v Emma. We may or may not be discussing Marshall Gambino’s favorite Disney character. Congrats to Britt Baker on the Pitt News article and Parts Unknown appearance. Super Hentai is talking about the great talent that has come through Pittsburgh. This week’s Big Question: Which current wrestler could raise stock by leaving WWE and striking out on their own? What did YOU learn in wrestling this week? Fan of the show, Brandon Mynatt, will be a participant in the 2018 Special Olympics as part of the Team Missouri Bowling Team. As they do, Matt and Steve recap their current standings in fantasy football. Though they're still running neck-and-neck, Matt took a lead in this week's results. With the recap under our belts, it's time to move to some MLB updates - with a recap of the current standings. As for NHL news, the Penguins are 1-1-1 for the season. Matt and Steve take a look at the prospects for the Pens' upcoming games. What sort of week in hockey would it be though if the guys didn't touch upon the Penguins' visit to the White House? But, before the conversation goes political, the guys shift gears to head into football updates. Pitt has a bad loss in Syracuse. PSU is still doing well - with Sequan Barkley still in the Heisman hunt. The guys otherwise look at the college game prospects for the next few weeks. Which brings us to this week's Steelers' recap. BOLD Nights Out: Episode 64

Amanda and Steve are drinking Sierra Nevada this week. As far as recommendations for where to eat, they're going with a tried and true - get yourself to MadMex. For drinks however, they're switching things up a little. Their recommendation this week is Korner Pub. It is October in Pittsburgh, and there are certainly plenty of things to check out. With the super nice weather we're having, it's the perfect time to check out some outside options, too! Steve and Amanda run down this week's hot spots starting with the Celebration of George Romero at Row House Cinema, Millvale Food Truck Round Up, Kennywood Happy Hauntings, Rick-or-Treat Glow Golf at Fun Fore All in Cranberry, Equus at the O'Reilly Theater, and Rocky Horror Picture Show (practically everywhere this time of year). An extra special, only Pittsburgh event is the reopening of the Greenfield Bridge! The final recommendation from Amanda and Steve is to check out your local pubs for Halloween parties - especially if you don't have your Halloween plans locked down yet.
