Wrestling Mayhem Show 583: The Adam Cole Factor
It's our SummerSlam Eve show, and we've got Sorg, Chad the Shad, Larry, and Mad Mike on air talking some wrestling. We have a lot to talk about, including: MutilatorLarry is back! Unfortunately there's no Magnum CK in studio tonight - BUT, he WILL be in studio on Friday for an Indy Mayhem recording. Sorg did something else, guys. www.pittsburghwrestling.com There's A LOT of wrestling in the Pittsburgh area. Mad Mike missed Smackdown Live because he was busy slinging toys. (Likely story.) Because Mad Mike missed Smackdown Live, we just broke his heart telling him about the Jinder/Cena/Corbin ender. SummerSlam's this weekend. Maybe we should share some things about that? Samoa Joe has finally hit his stride on RAW. It looks like we're headed for another shake-up given the shenanigans and weird stuff, right? Looks like Adam Cole is headed to NXT. We have a new toy alert from Mad Mike - an entire WWE Women line of action figures. #MadMikeApproved Bray Wyatt may not win many matches, but he does a great job putting people over. It's Big Question time! What international city should have a PPV. It's been a while since SummerSlam in London. We may or may not have just booked an RVD v Val Venis match in Amsterdam. We're talking some NXT Takeover. We're asking for an Adam Cole v. Bobby Roode match. Bobby Roode and The Miz feud? (Yes, please!) Why is every title holder in NXT undefeated? Can we get some originality? Will we be seeing an Asuka v Ronda Rousey match in the near future? What did YOU learn from wrestling this week? Follow our stable on Twitter: Chad (@ChadTheShad), Mad Mike (@MadMike4883), Larry (@MutilatorLarry), and Sorg (@Sorgatron), ! ScareHouse Podcast 122: Top Horror Movie Picks with Sean Collier
Creative Director Scott Simmons and Katie “Dudders” head down to The Basement with Sean Collier to talk about their favorite horror movies. Sean’s passion for movies is evident when he appears on the radio, the comedy stage, his podcast, and when he writes his column for Pittsburgh Magazine. Sean, Katie, and Scott end the podcast with a discussion about their lists of top horror movies. The struggle to get Pittsburghers to leave the house and shake up their routines. The joy of going to a movie without overly researching or dissecting it. Scott and Sean see movies as an escape, while Katie worries they will be a timesuck. Why Scott has to give the design team movie homework. Our expectations were lower in the 90s. Scott’s weird ability to remember minor details of movies, but forget what he ate for lunch the day before. Scott, Sean, and Katie count down their top horror movies and how their lists are constantly changing. Remarkably, Sean Collier hasn’t seen every movie ever made. The pros and cons of showing the monster at the end of the movie. Blair Witch Project’s influence on the horror genre. RAW was in Pittsburgh last night. Yep. We were there. MizTV and Jason Jordan are topping the show chatter tonight. Best part of the Kurt Angle and Jason Jordan visit to Pittsburgh could have been the very Pittsburgh family aspect. Larry is calling for a DNA test error angle with Kurt Angle and Jason Jordan. John Cena and Shinsuke Nakamura? We enjoyed it, but it was obvious Cena is heading out to do some stuff. Jinder and Shinsuke. Larry is calling for a cash-in after the match. We're actually happy to see big guys beating the crap out of each other! We're actually discussing things commentators say during matches. If you're going to piss JBL off, it's best to do it on air apparently. Enzo isn't liked because he's Enzo 24/7? We're waiting to see Braun do a shooting star press off the top rope! Sorg got to experience RAW with a child last night. It reminded him of why he got into wrestling. What happened to Miz and Ambrose? Wrestling Mayhem Show 579: Fluent in Cockney
It's the last Mayhem Show in the Mayhem Studio. But, before the crew moves to the new studio, we've got one last hurrah for Wrestling Mayhem Show 579. Sorg, Chad, Larry, MadMike, Matt, Bobby, and a special birthday boy (Rizz) get together to reminisce about our time in the studio and to talk about what's happening in wrestling these days: Mad Mike is the Center Square. There's a PPV this weekend guys! Rizz is so happy about the Punjabi Prison Match. It's like WWE knew it was his birthday! Is it "poops" "liver enzyme" or "steroids?" We're not sure what we're talking about either. More stipulations? Larry is calling out John Cena on his geography. All you need to know is John Cena and Ruzev and you'll be okay. Is The Rock running for President? Are we getting a Shinsuke v. AJ Styles match in our future? The mayhemmers are weighing in. We're running down the WWE-related people who are running for various offices these days. More than we realize. Nakamura v. Corbin in a hair-vs-hair match? We may be playing Hollywood Squares in the new studio. Talking Smack is still on for PPV shows. We're happy that it's not totally cancelled. Thank goodness Matt came in to settle this argument between MadMike and Sorg. Sorg and some of the guys checked out the Stomp Out Cancer show this past weekend. He's sharing some good stuff. When the words David Otunga come out of your mouth, you've lost your argument. This week's Big Question is brought to us by Birthday Boy Rizz: What is your favorite in-studio Mayhem Show memory? What did YOU learn in wrestling this week? Follow our stable on Twitter: Sorg (@Sorgatron), Larry (@MutilatorLarry), Chad the Shad (@ChadTheShad), Rizz (@TheeRizz), Mad Mike (@MadMike4883), Matt (@MainstreamMat), and Bobby (@BobbyFJtown).
