Alright, now that we have that bit of business out of the way, we can now jump headlong into today’s topic. Underground cities of the world.Ancient myths and legends tell of several mysterious underground cities filled with secret chambers, passages shrines and tombs. Many of these remarkable underground worlds remain shrouded in mystery because we have not been able to locate them yet. There are also fascinating very old underground tunnels, caves and cities that have been discovered, but the history behind them remains unsolved because we have no idea who built them and for what purposes.Some of them are real. Some haven't been found yet and perhaps some are never meant to be located… but each has a story to tell us and we’re going to touch on each of them briefly. Now, the ones I’m covering are not by any means the only underground cities because as you know, we’ve only found about 10 percent of all the ancient civilizations on this planet, so there is so much more for us to learn out there, so take this episode as a jumping off point. And we’re going to start with one of my favorite civilizations, Egypt!

People with psychotic mental illnesses are more vulnerable to radicalization - hear why, and look at new rulesrequiring psychiatrists to report such patients, and two cases of terrorists on trial who have psychiatric problems.It was determined, in France, that 1/3 of the people who were allegedly radicalized had psychological disorders. So, the French Minister of Health has just decreed that patients committed involuntarily to a psychiatric hospital must have their name and date of birth reported, so they can be compared to the profiles on the Terrorism Prevention and Terrorization Reporting file - to see if there’s a match. This controversial decree is currently being appealed, and is not unlike the U.S. controversy regarding whether psychiatrists should report patients who would be dangerous if they possessed guns. But, terrorists with psychiatric disorders are not only in France. In Chicago, Adel Daoud was just sentenced to 16 years in prison for having pressed a detonator on what he thought was a car bomb, but was actually a fake bomb from an undercover FBI agent who had been surveilling him. Originally, the judge declared him mentally incompetent to stand trial because Daoud believed his lawyers and the judge were lizards and had other delusions. After treatment, at sentencing, he apologized and said he realizes he was crazy during the time he plotted terror attacks. In Arizona, coworkers of Ismail Hamed had noticed his odd behavior, such as using his employee radio to shout “We are under attack!” and standing on a grocery belt yelling, “Bomb!” But, it wasn’t until he called 911 and swore allegiance to ISIS that he came to authorities’ attention in regard to terrorism. He is charged with assaulting asheriff and with spreading Islamic State propaganda, such as his admiration of Omar Mateen, the Pulse Nightclub terrorist, and video from cleric Anwar al-Awlaki.

For centuries there have been numerous accounts that treat these fierce monsters as very real, and from back in the dark corners of time all the way up to the present there are those who claim that the dragons of lore are much more than just legend and myth.Now, no mythological creature is more varied than the dragon. From the compound-eyed, alien dragons of Anne McCaffery's Pern series to the chronically ill swamp dragons of Terry Pratchett's Discworld, dragons have been invented and reinvented countless times in popular fiction. It’s almost impossible to pin down traits that every fictional dragon shares with others—just look at the diversity of form that exists in the How To Train Your Dragon movies alone. But do any of these dragons have real-life counterparts in the animal kingdom? Dragons may not exist exactly as we know them from shows like Game of Thrones, but have any non-fictional creatures ever demonstrated distinctly draconic features?

BAYTOWN, Texas – A police officer shot and killed a woman at a Houston-area apartment complex after she hit him with his Taser during a struggle, shocking him, police said.In a video recorded by a witness and posted on social media, the officer can be seen standing over Pamela Turner and reaching down to try to grab her arms. Turner, who is lying on the ground outside the apartments in Baytown, yells "I'm pregnant." Moments later, something flashes as she reaches her arm out toward the officer. Suddenly, the officer pulls back, raises up from the ground and fires five gunshots.Police Lt. Steve Dorris said Tuesday that the officer shot at Turner after she hit him in the groin with the Taser. Turner did not fire the stun gun but it shocked the officer when it struck him, Dorris said.The lieutenant said police have since learned from the medical examiner's office in Harris County that Turner, who was 44 and black, was not pregnant. She was pronounced dead at the scene, he said. A spokeswoman with the medical examiner's office declined to comment.The officer, who police have not identified by name, has been placed on paid administrative leave, Dorris said. The department is reviewing whether the shooting was in line with its policy on the use of deadly force, he said.Before the shooting, the officer, who is Hispanic and an 11-year veteran of the police force, was patrolling the apartment complex and tried to arrest Turner because he knew she had outstanding warrants, Dorris said. Tariffs are imposed on products originating in foreign countries and not on those nations' governments. As a result, they increase costs for importers of the products and can drive up prices for consumers.Trump issued a statement Friday saying the tariffs on Chinese goods "may or may not be removed" while trade talks continue. U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer said last week that the U.S. was preparing to expand the tariffs to cover $300 billion of Chinese products that aren't already facing import taxes, or virtually everything imported from China.Rapper Lil Wayne told his fans he would not be performing at a Miami Gardens hip-hop festival Saturday night after police tried to “check” him before going on stage.“To all my fans who came to see me at Rolling Loud, I’m sorry but I won’t be performing,” the rapper posted on Twitter. “The Festival Police (Not Rolling Loud) made it mandatory that I had to be policed and checked to get on the stadium grounds.”He added: “I do not and will not ever settle for being policed to do my job and give you guys a great show.”
