Yet Corpsewood Manor is all-too-real, and in December of 1982, this hand built brick mansion in the woods of northern Georgia played host to a brutal double murder.In 1976, on the occasion of his 50th birthday, Charles Scudder quit his job as a professor of pharmacology at Loyola University in Chicago to move with his two dogs and his long-time partner Joseph Odom to a 40-acre parcel of land the couple had purchased outside Summerville, Georgia.

Jen Gennai, head of responsible innovation and global affairs at Google, wrote in a Medium post that members of James O’Keefe’s conservative group Project Veritas filmed her without her consent and “selectively edited” her words to make it seem like Google was influencing the 2020 election. Gennai called this nonsense and wrote that “I was explaining how Google’s Trust and Safety team is working to help prevent the types of online foreign interference that happened in 2016.” Gennai quotes Google CEO Sundar Pichai in saying that “we do not bias our products to favor any political agenda.”Gennai added that Project Veritas has done this to numerous other people working in tech, and that “they wanted someone who would give them juicy soundbites about tech’s alleged bias against conservatives.” The video Project Veritas posted on YouTube has been taken down due to “a privacy complaint by a third party.”

Tor URLs end in the suffix .onion. Unlike .com websites, the URLs are usually complex and difficult to remember, and websites will often change their URLs in order to evade detection and DDoS attacks.When you’re on the Dark Web, ISPs – and by extension, the government – might not be able to view your activity, but they will know you are on the Tor Network. Often swathed in mist, its jagged rock formations erupt from the North Sea like the fangs of some aquatic leviathan. But on clear days the water becomes aqua blue, and the islands, illuminated in sunlight, appear idyllic. Dec. 26, 1900, was one such day, according to Captain James Harvey, who had been sent to the Flannan Isles to provide some much-needed relief to the three lighthouse keepers on the island of Eilean Mor.Although uninhabited, the island has always sparked people’s interest. It is named after St. Flannen, a 6th century Irish Bishop who later became a saint, who built a chapel on the island and for centuries shepherds used to bring over sheep to the island to graze but would never stay the night, fearful of the spirits believed to haunt such a remote spot.Captain James Harvey was in charge of the ship which was also carrying Joseph Moore, a replacement lifehouse keeper. As the ship reached the landing platform, Captain Harvey was surprised when no one was waiting for their arrival. He blew his horn and sent up a warning flare to attract attention. If the tax cuts were repealed:A family of four earning the median income of $73,000 would see a $2,000 tax increase.A single parent (with one child) making $41,000 would see a $1,300 tax increase.Millions of low and middle-income households would be stuck paying the Obamacare individual mandate tax.Utility bills would go up in all 50 states as a direct result of the corporate income tax increase.Small employers will face a tax increase due to the repeal of the 20% deduction for small business income.The USA would have the highest corporate income tax rate in the developed world.Taxes would rise in every state and every congressional district.The Death Tax would ensnare more families and businesses.The AMT would snap back to hit millions of households.Millions of households would see their child tax credit cut in half.Millions of households would see their standard deduction cut in half, adding to their tax complexity as they are forced to itemize their deductions and deal with the shoebox full of receipts on top of the refrigerator. In Washington, D.C., where Joe Biden spoke, households with the median income of $82,372 received an average tax cut of around $1,990, according to a recent Tax Foundation report.As noted by the New York Times, thanks to the GOP tax cuts, “Most people got a tax cut.” The NYT also stated: “To a large degree, the gap between perception and reality on the tax cuts appears to flow from a sustained — and misleading — effort by liberal opponents of the law to brand it as a broad middle-class tax increase.”The Washington Post also stated: “Most Americans received a tax cut.”More examples of the benefits stemming from the tax cuts are shown in a recent H&R Block report, which states, “overall tax liability is down 24.9 percent on average.” In Biden’s home state of Delaware, the report found that residents received a 24.8% tax cut.In D.C. - where he made the threat to repeal the TCJA - residents received an 18.0% tax cut. Financial literacy is the possession of skills that allows people to make smart decisions with their money.And don’t be misled by the word literacy. Although understanding stats and facts about money is great, no one has truly grasped financial literacy until they can regularly do the right things with money that lead to the right financial outcomes.When you have this skill set, you’re able to understand the major financial issues most people face: emergencies, debts, investments and beyond. Financially literate people know their way around a budget, know how to use sinking funds, and know the difference between a 401(k) and a 529 plan. Here are the concepts financially literate consumers have mastered:Based on the stats that we’ve already considered, it’s fair to guess that the majority of people don’t know how to handle their money. And while there’s no one sure way to measure how many people are financially literate, the lack of certain skills would confirm that guess.For example, if you used the number of people who don’t live paycheck to paycheck as an estimate of financial literacy, only about 20% of people would qualify!Budgeting could be another skill for measuring financial literacy. And how do Americans stack up in that department? Sadly, not even a third of people earning a paycheck (32%) stick to a budget.(7)Let’s look at the findings of the National Financial Capability Test given to over 17,000 people from all 50 states. The National Financial Educators Council (NFEC) reports that less than half (48%) of participants were able to pass the 30-question test that covered things like budgeting, paying bills, setting financial goals, and other personal-finance related topics.y now, you’ve got a pretty good sense of where you stand in terms of your own financial literacy. Maybe you have a lot to learn, but it’s encouraging to know that increasing financial literacy could transform whole families, communities and even the nation!Many educators are already working hard to bring this kind of understanding to millions of students nationwide. Every year, thousands of graduates go through our middle school and high school personal finance curriculum, Foundations in Personal Finance, and gain financial literacy skills that empower them for a lifetime of money success. The Central Park Five, as the boys became known, later went back on their confessions, saying they had been coerced into giving false statements. Still, they were found guilty in their 1990 trials and went on to serve years-long sentences in prison. It wasn't until 2002 that Matias Reyes, a murderer and serial rapist who was serving a life sentence for a different crime, confessed to being the actual perpetrator of the Central Park Jogger rape. DNA evidence backed up his confession, and the Central Park Five were exonerated.In 2003, three of the five wrongly accused men (Antron, Raymond, and Kevin) sued the city of New York for malicious prosecution, racial discrimination, and emotional distress. Eleven years later, after Mayor Bill de Blasio took office, they received a total settlement of $41 million — but Linda continued to defend the initial outcome of the trials.A study published online Thursday by the Bulletin of the World Health Organization found that 376 million new cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomoniasis, and syphilis developed among people between the ages of 15-49 in 2016. Some of the cases may be multiple infections at the same time or re-infections among the same people. The infections are curable with medicines, but people don't become immune after being treated.Because the infections can cause people to develop lesions in their genitals, they increase the risk of developing HIV, the sexually transmitted infection that causes AIDS, and that was not assessed as part of the study.

So for tonight’s game, we can use a fantastic shot that I found on the intoxicologist called the Midnight Moon Layered Shot, it’s a fantastic recipe created by Cheri Laughlin which is ½ ounce Coffee Liqueur, ½ ounce Amaretto and ½ ounce Irish Cream. You place the coffee liqueur and amaretto in the bottom of a shot glass and create a floated layer by slowly pouring the Irish cream over the back of a spoon. If you love coffee and you love alcohol, then this is the drink for you. Now for the game part… how about every time I say werewolf it’ll be a single shot and when I say Lycanthrope that will be a double shot. Alright, we have our game loaded so let’s howl at the moon and talk about some werewolves!First, we’re going to start with a little history first and then we’ll move into some myths and beliefs.. So let’s get this party started… Werewolves, also known as lycanthropes, are legendary shape-shifting humans. As the name suggests, the shape these creatures take on is that of a wolf. The history of the werewolf legend has sprung up independently or spread to virtually every area of the Earth. It is also one of the oldest legends of human monsters in recorded history. Where the legend originated can only be guessed by what humans have taken care to record. Their other name, lycanthrope, may also be a hint at the origin of this myth.
