A lot of young players performed at a high level for the New England Patriots in the opening game of the 2021 NFL Preseason. QB Mac Jones threw the ball well, while running backs J.J. Taylor and Rhamondre Stevenson combined for 168 yards and 2 touchdowns. On defense, edge defenders Josh Uche and Ronnie Perkins look like quality pieces to give the Patriots a lot of versatility in the defensive front seven, and Kyle Dugger looks to be a star in the secondary.
