Jive-Ass Alien

We take a look at some of the unsung military heroes (just in time for Veteran's Day!) from Vietnam, the Army Engineers. Along with some present personal shenanigans Beth, Marc, and the Jive-Ass Alien get into the foundation that builds foreign bases. Trust me, it's not as boring as it sounds!!!

Apparently even Jive-Ass aliens experience midlife crisis. Doing the ultimate cliche of getting a Harley? Say it ain't so!

Happy Halloween 2024!Forgot to release on the scheduled date but makes it closer to the 31st, so that's my excuse. We return to choosing adventures, so let's see if Beth, Marc, and I survive in the House of Danger!

This episode has it all; colonics, Lego, NUKEs, and history from round here. Dam!

We air out some of our grievances about what friends and families do that piss us off. Not really specific to California, where we live, but the state sure makes it difficult at times.

The Jive-Ass Alien with Marc finishes up our car episode. Are these the dumbest of the dumb?https://jalopnik.com/this-is-the-useless-car-tech-could-you-happily-live-wit-1851625603

The 3 neighborinoes get together to share some of our personal tales of driving faux-pas. We also give Toyota much free unpaid praise, and a sneak preview for next Murdle mystery.

Me and Marc continue our talk. What else do modern cars have that's not as useful or desired, according to us?https://jalopnik.com/this-is-the-useless-car-tech-could-you-happily-live-wit-1851625603

https://jalopnik.com/this-is-the-useless-car-tech-could-you-happily-live-wit-1851625603Special episode with just the Jive-Ass Alien joined by the madman mechanic Marc the mutilator. What are some car tech that we find unnecessary? Tune in and find out.

As we talk a little about companies, we really get into how Avatar: The Last Airbender wraps up it's storyline.

We free three talk about some company shenanigans that big businesses have been up to. Sometimes you really have to pause and think about what you're buying and from who, ya know?

Sometimes this Jive-Ass Alien encounters some driving experiences that are too out of this world of sense that just have to be shared. Maybe Beth and Marc have some of their own encounters.

We finish up our chat about the oldest restaurants in Fresno. Which sounds good enough to try?

Dang, here we are at our 200th episode and don't know why many of yall listen to my silliness, but thanks. With that, where in Fresno would we eat to embrace the legacy vibe? We'll chat about the oldest Fresno restaurants and get some nice facts.

With all cool stuff here on Earth, I eventually get around to some of them. Now this Jive-Ass Alien can honestly understand that the hype around the classic Nickelodeon animated show Avatar is warranted.

As a Jive-Ass Alien, I often come across situations where even in the silliest world there are not stories as dumb as this

A few interesting facts about Walt Disney, how many did Beth already know? Find out, while this Jive-Ass Alien finds more weird human behavior to question.

The 3 lunatics left to operate the asylum try their hand at this silly game, Joking Hazard. Coming from the same silly minds as from popular webcomic Cyanide and Happiness, this game let's us try to come up with similar twisted, funny comics as those guys. Amongst the 3 of us, who has a better shot at getting hired by them? Listen and find out.https://store.explosm.net/products/joking-hazard-1

Covering a couple of stories that I've recently been intrigued by. For a Jive-Ass Alien, any story that makes me go "what on Earth?" is sure to make an impression.

I've called up Neil to join the Jive-Ass Alien in recollecting memories of the classic pro wrestling time when megastars like the Rock, Undertaker, Mankind, and Stone Cold reigned supreme.

https://www.cbr.com/the-simpsons-season-1-forgotten-facts/Came across this article and there were a few things Beth, Marc, and I, had not known changed or was odd from the Simpsons' first season. Let's explore them, shan't we?

Maybe it was her lackluster sleep the previous night, or Marc and I jabbed about nonsense too much, but Beth definitely gets left out in this episode. Still, she helps get some funny recent news broadcasted.

What's the best way to act at work? As a Jive-Ass Alien I've tried on a number of disguises and all of them sucked. Maybe Beth and Marc can help me out.

Last time we didn't fare too well with solving Murdle's, so Beth, Marc, and I take another STAB at it, then lear which of us would be the better Power Hungry Pet.

Is this some bullshit? This Jive-Ass Alien thinks so. Why don't I understand human's fascination with fellow extraterrestrial E-Musk? Maybe some newer Zelda can cheer me up...

Just what sort of crass TV ideas do we know? Join Beth, Marc, and I as we talk about the chaos we enjoy.

We try our hand at being detectives, how hard could it be?

Just (late) in time for the beloved holiday, stereotypically-late stoner episode where Beth, Marc, and the Jive-Ass Alien play a game that's fun for all ages, at least ages that are old enough to smoke.

Anyone up for Exploding Kittens during Iceland? Tune in!

Some recent news, such as 99cent stores closing. Also, as an alien, I also have petty issues earthlings endure, like renewing a license.

The Jive-Ass Alien has to keep Beth and Marc up to what he's been dealing with. Also, I let them in on some secrets that have persisted for a long time. Oh, and butts, butts, butts.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/man-spent-years-building-eiffel-tower-700k-matchsticks-may-denied-worl-rcna137663Some exciting ideas for my bday. Did I follow thru? Even though I'm editing this a week after you still have to wait!

https://en.m.wikivoyage.org/wiki/PragueNew season, hopefully new fans.Currently the Czech Republic has paid us the least attention, amongst the listeners we've had, so let's try to appeal to them. Gonna start trying to increase our listeners by appealing to them, whatever it takes. Can Beth, Marc, and I make this work?

https://medium.com/the-riff/40-great-songs-turning-40-in-2024-314988093934Same as us, here are 40 songs that turn 40 years old this year. Would we even know them? Not many, but enough that we talk about it. Any you know?

We finally get around to accepting the fact that we're getting old. Eh, nothing special, check it out.But what part of staying off the lawn did you not understand???

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/best-and-worst-tiktok-food-trends-2023_l_6580beece4b08e9b410b8d61What other trends of last year did we miss? Let's finish these silly things that people enjoyed.

Things get more quirky than usual, but we manage to name our favorite Xmas movies so, we cool?

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/culture-shock-east-coast-west-coast_l_6563605ae4b0f35896f63586How different is the change from U.S. East Coast to West Coast than the other way around? Found this article that had interesting takes on this.

The adventure continues! How long will our luck continue? Umm...
