Ep 190IE190 Daniel Mangena: Manifest Your Dreams: Develop Millionaire Mindset & Achieve Abundance Mastery
TW: This episode contains conversations about depression and suicide. In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Daniel Mangena, manifestation coach, international speaker, entrepreneur, podcaster, and bestselling author. He is the CEO of Dream With Dan.Daniel and Amrit, talk about how to manifest abundance, the meaning of ”stop meditating”, how important courage is and the importance of being grateful before the things happen and how to do that. After losing his fortune twice and receiving a late diagnosis of Asperger's, Dan was on the verge of suicide. He settled a framework as a lifeline while he struggled with suicidal thoughts. A four step method for getting inside of yourself, learning to take responsibility for your own life, and ultimately manifesting what you desire out in the material world. His method led him to move into a more holistic whole abundant place. He wrote Stepping Beyond Intention CHECK here: https://amz.run/4sJP, and started helping others overcome adversity to become abundant. Many people consider abundance only as money in their account. But it manifests in infinite ways. To attract abundance into your life you need to feel it within, be conscious about it, and connect with it. It is your birthright. It is a constant journey of expansion, making yourself able to accept more and more so that you have more and more to give.People must interrogate the intentions they have with the heart; the mind wants, the heart gets excited. And then clean their intentions by having these conversations of where did the desire come from. It’s about digging deep and disrupting what’s happening at an unconscious level and choosing what you want to experience. You need to pull back the layers of narratives that are not yours and hold you back. Dan put too much weight on his beliefs about what other people thought about him, to the point of seeking a way to end his life. Self-belief and positive inputs led him to be present and make powerful choices to create change. Dan has now this resource, narrative and evidence that it is not all hopeless if depression comes back. Those who are competitive have to take from others. Those who are creative understand that we are all abundant from birth. They recognize there is enough for everyone and if they honour the natural law of nature, things are going to flow to them. Dan believes that when we stop judging that dark sides exist, we can pull energy back from that and sit in peace with it. Dan explains what he means about “stop meditating”. In order for meditation to have its desired effect you need to actually step back into physical reality, where you can take physical action. People have been taught to focus on their inner-work, and that is great only if they are in service of a physical destination.Dan believes a lot of courage is needed for a small change and every single change requires courage. Reality unfolds to our expectations. If our expectations are positive and we celebrate them in advance, that is gratitude. Being grateful in advance is a starting point where the creation of things happens. You can do this before reaching the outcome because the quantum model shows the fact that everything is happening here and now.Tune In: Welcome Daniel Mangena to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)What abundance means according to Dan: (03:31)Abundance and the multi dimensionality of abundance:(06:10)Suicidal moment and how the intention emerged:(09:27)What has Dan transformed in alignment to?:(16:14)How to reprogram the subconscious:(18:15)How to heal the “lack” within the “want”:(22:14)Defining abundance for ourselves: (27:14)Competition vs. creation:(30:03)How to connect to what is really yours:(36:59)The importance of taking courageous action:(41:25)Gratitude for things before they appear:(45:54)Connect with Dan:(49:43)Daniel Mangena’s books:“Money Game: A Wealth Manifestation Guide, Level Up Your Mindset Step-By-Step & Create An Abundant Life ”: https://amz.run/4sJJ“The Dreamer’s Manifesto”: https://amz.run/4sJQConnect with Daniel Mangena:Website: https://dreamwithdan.com/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thedreamerceoInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/dreamerceoYoutube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMdAvGk6xa5fptmdULliJrgTwitter: https://twitter.com/dreamerceoLinkedin:https://www.linkedin.com/in/dreamerceo/Podcast Do It With Dan: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/do-it-with-dan/id1381226331Join the Inspired Evolution Community:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/InspiredEvolution/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/inspired_evolution/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/InspiredEvolution/ Website: https://inspiredevolution.com/Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 189IE189 Eric Edmeades: Mastering Business Freedom: Secrets to a Serial Entrepreneur's Success
In this week’s episode, Amrit has the privilege to welcome back Eric Edmeades, serial entrepreneur, business speaker, business & marketing mentor, storyteller, bestselling author and a pioneer in evolutionary biology, nutritional anthropology, and behavioral change dynamics. He is the founder of Wildfit, Business Freedom, and Speaker Nation, and has owned businesses in a variety of industries. Eric and Amrit, talk about personal development and business development as two things that go hand in hand. They dive deep in working ON your business vs. working IN your business, what it means to be self employed vs. what it means to be a business owner, and how to grow a business to achieve business freedom so you can spend your time and money doing what matters most to you.Personal development is key to building a successful business. If you want to build an exceptional business as well as an extraordinary life you have to work on yourself. The more you work on you the better your business is going to be.Every business starts in the self employment phase and needs you to be there. But, you can be self employed and keep working in the company all your life, or you can start as self employed with the intention to build an enterprise to the point it will not require you anymore and in time have a life of its own. The transition to business owner depends on your mindset. Once you have decided you are going to build an enterprise, you make distinctively different decisions on a daily basis and while you take action you are thinking how it affects your eventual plan. Decisions are risky but necessary, especially when it comes to investing. Eric shares practical examples to explain why investing time and money on your company can help you beat competition. Criteria can be the same whether you are talking about selling your time or whether you are talking about creating a business, you still have to choose what is the basis upon which you want to make money. Eric believes you must consider if it is fun, if it is going to make an impact and finally if it gives you some money. When you love what you do, you show up with passion and that makes a distinction.Working IN your business is totally different to working ON your business. As a business owner you have to figure out which are the tasks you hate doing and start a plan to take on the right people to do them for you. Your task is to work ON your business through marketing and taking assets that can be useful in other markets to expand the business. and achieve freedomLearning through others' experience and asking for their advice to avoid the challenges of solving problems that have been solved by others before. This way you become more creative and optimistic, and you can apply that to another business or even solve world problems.Empathy is vitally important for building a business. You need this skill to associate the emotional conditions of your clients and your team. The way you treat your team is how they will treat their clients.Edmeades is actually working on a book focussed on his principle “evolution gap”. It is the gap between our very slow genetic evolution and the very fast and increasing piece of our social structures and technologies. Ep 188IE188 Apukuna: Shamanic Medicine Music: Echoes of Transformation for Your Soul's Evolution (+ Exclusive Mix)
In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Jon David, “Apukuna”, a DJ, music mixer and ceremonial medicine musician. He is one of Amrit’s favourite artists on SoundCloud, a huge music and audio online platform that lets people discover and enjoy the greatest selection of music from the most diverse creator community on earth.Amrit and Apukuna, talk about Apukuna’s journey of creativity, his electronic music, ceremonial medicine music and how it has all come together. They dive deep into him cultivating a particular sound and how he found himself during the process. They also cave into how being even more himself expressing his gift to the world helped him become more well received. Apukuna has been involved in electronic music for more than 20 years now. In the last 12 years he has also been playing ceremonial medicine music on his guitar with amazing people such as Darpan and others. In the last 3 years he has begun to blend/mix these two worlds together into something unique called Apukuna, sharing it on SoundCloud where he is building his own community. In the Quechua language “APU” means spirit of the mountain (Apukuna plural)Three years ago he was creating more dance floor friendly mixes trying to remain accessible to his listeners, but at the beginning of the Pandemic, he decided to let go and drop further into himself, his own love. He opened himself up to feeling comfortable and brought through what felt true to him. He began to cultivate a new spiritual sound, his sound, one of love, energy and healing that is being highly praised globally. Something out of this world.Apukuna is looking forward to, once things get back to normal, take these new sounds and adapt them to live settings. He wants to bring this love and energy into all of his mixes. His intention is to draw dance and listeners into something that is familiar, and then blast them with this new frequency of love. There has been a lot of learning about himself through putting mixes together. The mixing process is tough and takes a long time, it can even take weeks. It requires patience, perseverance and being somewhat meticulous. Apukuna is very meticulous and recognizes how challenging it is to others as it is to himself, but he sees it as an enormous gift and is grateful for this “superpower”. Having had experience with reflection of who and what he is, he now takes a reflection, listens to it and tries to learn from it. Being meticulous is the part of himself that has helped him live and sustain his life doing what he most loves to do. He strongly believes we must learn how to look at and love more those elements we all carry in ourselves that can be either a blessing or a challenge. What he does with music is for himself and then shares it as a gift. He is following the intuition of what feels good to him and he trusts it. He is following his passion, wants to share it and then see where it goes. Furthermore, he shares a little preview of what is coming next. Breath Medicine Mix 002 is brewing up right now and there is an intention to use it in breathwork sessions. Apukuna’s dream is to be in front of a crowd of people where he can play mixes, bring in his guitar, bring in his voice and integrate all of them together. Nobody knows, but it is quite likely Apukuna not only will be about mixes but about producing songs too.Towards the end of this episode, Apukuna shares a jaw-dropping mix he has prepared especially for the Inspired Evolution Tribe. “Music is medicine and medicine is music”Tune In: Welcome Apukuna to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)The beginning of exploring music and mixes: (04:04)From remaining accessible to doing what was true to him:(11:12)Learning about himself when putting mixes together:(15:36)How much of putting mixes together is his career and how much of it is his passion:(21:44)Realizing that challenging elements we carry can serve us:(26:52)About dream mixes and mixes that are brewing:(32:23)Last words to the audience:(39:09)Special mix for the Inspired Evolution Tribe:(41:43)Mentioned Resources:Darpan: https://www.darpan.com/Connect with Apukuna:Website: https://soundcloud.com/apukuna Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ApukunaMusic For just a glance of this beauty, listen to Amrit’s favourite mixes: Spirit Bear:https://soundcloud.com/apukuna/apukuna-spirit-bear Return of The Bird Tribes: https://soundcloud.com/apukuna/mix-apukuna-return-of-the-bird-tribes-2020Join the Inspired Evolution Community:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/InspiredEvolution/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/inspired_evolution/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/InspiredEvolution/ Website: https://inspiredevolution.com/ Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 187IE187 Ben Irvine & Simon Wade: Beyond the Grid: Blueprint for Sustainable Community Living (Eltham, Melbourne, Australia)
In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Ben Irvine and Simon Wade, who have come together to build an intentional and organic community in Eltham, a beautiful place in the heart of Victoria, Melbourne.Ben, Simon and Amrit talk about the project, their vision and how they are going to manage the power dynamics and challenges that pop up, what inspired them to go on this journey and the resources that guide them, and the importance of eating together. They also talk about community and why it is so important to live life outside the paradigm of what we all call normal and live differently. After watching pioneer architect Charles Durrett’s presentation on cohousing and doing a lot of research, Ben decided he wanted to build a community far away from isolation. A village where he could live together with his loved ones and others in community creating close bonds. A village where the members could feel free to have their own beliefs, ways of being and ways of relating to the community. With this idea in mind and having partnered with a developer, Ben got in touch with Simon to be his left hand. Simon, in total agreement with this vision, agreed to be part of this new project. This project consists of the development of 26 private dwellings for 40 adults and following Charles Durrett’s Danish model and book “Creating Cohousing'' where he describes the whole concept. This successful model lays emphasis on community, sustainability, village living, shared resources, affordability and eating together. The village is not founded on ideology. From a business point of view, Simon refers to it as a decentralized movement with bottom-up decision making instead of top-down hierarchies of demand and control. They talk about agreements and self management but with the relational space as the centre. They gather frequently in circles to talk and move forward. Every meeting starts by sharing a circle and eating together. Amrit refers to it as “breaking bread together”. These are the most important factors for healthy and successful community cohesion, especially when facing power dynamics. This relational space helps everyone come into resonance with each other and have a harmonious relationship, which allows new ideas to arise and decision making easier. Ben believes community feels like something we have to learn how to do again. Simon believes it is about embracing the fact that we live in a relationship with the earth on which we stand, with our family, friends and loved ones and it is our job to turn this relational space into a beautiful one. They share the same vision. In today’s society, there is a lack of community they would like around them. Every family lives in their own atomic unit often disconnected from the people around them facing adversity and doing things by themselves. These guys want to reimagine life as a place where people can learn from each other and give support and encouragement. A place where people connect and thrive at all stages of life, where kids don't need to rely only on parents and can thrive growing up with community and other kids as well and a place where the elder’s don’t have to live alone any more. Ep 186IE186 Don Jose Ruiz: Ancient Shamanic Toltec Wisdom for a Modern World (The Four Agreements)
In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Don Jose Ruiz, a Toltec Master of Transformation and modern-day Shaman dedicated to sharing the wisdom of the ancient toltec to sacred societies all around the world. Don Ruiz is an international bestselling author of many books and recently wrote The Wisdom of the Sharmanic Animals.Don Jose and Amrit, talk about the importance of awakening to the artist that lies within you. They converse about how important it is to be present and honest with yourself, and do a lot of inner work to connect to the medicine of your heart. They also dive deep into why you should be kind and show respect to others as you do to yourself, and how to reconnect to your spirit so that you can live a life in alignment to your heart rather than “domestication”.Don Jose shares insightful stories to bring his message to this episode and the world. He converts his wisdom into practical, everyday life concepts that will help you transform.Toltec’s wisdom of kindness passes on from generation to generation to keep one and another kind in a world that is totally unkind. It’s tradition is considered a fundamental path of healing and spiritual growth. To be toltec means that you are an artist of your own life. Everybody is a unique artist of the spirit and here to create. They believe we live in a world where everything is possible. Once you step into it, your dreams are born. We all came into this world with wisdom, as natural lovers of life and abundant in kindness. Soon after birth, personal beliefs begin to build up through socialization from our parents and people in general. We create a false reality about the world around us becoming conformists to other’s ideas and judge when we fail to conform to the expectations. Don Jose calls this “domestication”. Instead of creating your own work of art and listening to what your heart is asking you to do, you emerge into life as a version that is not you.We can recover our “authentic self” back. Ruiz believes you can unlearn the beliefs and expectations that lead to unnecessary suffering and pain, and through mastering awareness and transformation, you can redirect your energy and create the life of your dreams. There are many challenges in domestication. Ruiz believes you first have to trust yourself to be able to trust the world. You begin thinking another way. You think clearly and start to question everything. When you think negatively you can recognize it as a bad habit. The way to get rid of that habit is by being discerning, not believing those negative thoughts and instead trust in your inner feelings.Don Jose calls this the moment we wake up, and when we start opening this channel our lives begin to change because we are no longer thinking negatively and attracting negativity. Any negativity that comes into our presence dissolves. And that has a ripple effect because as the Toltec tradition teaches, we are all messengers. That is why we must pay attention to what message we are sharing with others. We must keep on doing inner work to connect to the medicine within. As Ruiz says ” Either you choose a plastic garden or a beautiful garden that needs your care” Which do you choose?Tune In: Welcome Don Jose Ruiz to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)What it means to be toltec and the artist of your own life: (02:28)The relationship with the medicine within and the influence it has on others:(04:39)The frustration of being kind because expectations are not met:(07:04)Walking the path of honesty to connect to the medicine within:(09:06)The challenge of domestication when fighting for your innate self:(11:14)Willingness to find a new openness to live as fundamental beings:(15:04)Setting out messages that will be received in the world:(19:28)The importance of family:(26:38)People more primed than others to the artist way?:(29:19)How to cultivate connection to openness:(32:44)The essence of storytelling and what it means to Ruiz?:(35:44)Don Jose Ruiz books: "Shamanic Power Animals” https://amzn.to/37xk2eo The Wisdom of the Shamans” https://amzn.to/3lUmRyM “The Fifth Agreement” https://amzn.to/2UcqJzE “The Medicine Bag” https://amzn.to/3lTLwDy Connect with Don Jose Ruiz:Website:https://www.miguelruiz.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ToltecLife Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/donjoseruiz/ Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTwSKaGU-DpjGG0shxdEkJw Join the Inspired Evolution Community:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/InspiredEvolution/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/InspiredEvo/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/InspiredEvolution/ Website: https://inspiredevolution.com/ Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 185IE185 Dr. Dain Heer: Master Abundance & Break Free From Perfectionism: Discover the Power of Access Consciousness
In this week’s episode, Amrit welcomes back Dr. Dain Heer, a change-maker, body whisperer, speaker, co-creator of Access Consciousness, and a renowned author of many books. “Body Whispering: A New Way of Seeing, Being and Healing” is his latest best-seller, you can get it here: https://inspiredevolution.com/recommends/body-whispering-by-dr-dain-heer/Dr. Heer and Amrit, dive into a deep conversation about judgement vs. intuition, the tightrope between ego and humility on our path of greatness, how to get rid of perfectionism and begin to access our conscious awareness and reconsider our choices to create and live a life of greatness. We were all born with curiosity but too often judgment gets in our way. Judgment is something made up and keeps us stuck in a cycle of no choice and change. We avoid living in the way we uniquely could because we lie to ourselves. We focus on what we have decided are our faults and flaws, and that leads us to stress, anxiety, severe depression and a bad quality of life. Dr. Heer refers to judgement as a tiny ball of reality with what is right, wrong, good and bad and beyond it exists an endless reality of possibilities. The only way you can get there, is by having another perspective. You can let go of self-judgment and choose to follow the song of your heart towards greatness. The whispers lead you to more of that. When you are closer to doing the things that are true to you, you start to feel lighter and happier, and when you're closer to judgement and fear you feel heavier and sadderChange is not easy. But if you are afraid of doing something and do it all the same, no magic can show up because no magic can get in. Fear is a distracted implant; an implanted point of view. The place from which you act determines your experience of the action. Don’t act from fear. Act from a place of excitement and joy and kindness, and you will create whatever you want to. There is a tightrope between ego and humility on our journey of greatness. Amrit firmly believes that humility is the best recourse in so many instances. But if your ego insists on pushing to be humble and over humble yourself, you are running the risk of not honouring the gifts that life has given you and the blessing of life itself. It is difficult but we have to find the balance. They revert to judgement to confirm this. You are judged if you go too far one way and if you go too far the other way. That tightrope is based on a reality where judgement has value. You need to be willing to be present with everything as it is. Being present helps you see other possibilities and choices available. As stated by Dain, perfection is the ultimate judgement. According to Amrit, it is a “bourgeois” resistance. Many people wait for their ideas to be perfect before they get shared. “If you are above 80% let it go because you are never going to get more perfect than that”Dain states that instead of struggling for perfection, struggle for greatness. In greatness there is no judgement, you have a universe of possibilities and there is freedom and joy. We are energetic human beings by nature. If we could acknowledge that capacity that we have to perceive sutilities and awareness of energy, we could use it to navigate life. Ep 184IE184 Michael Meade: Living Mystic: Unravelling Your Story & Life's Mysteries (Myth, Meaning, and Imagination)
In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Michael Meade, a storyteller, scholar of mythology, anthropology, and psychology, and author. He is the founder of Mosaic Multicultural Foundation and host of the Living Myth Podcast. Please check into this beauty here: https://www.livingmyth.org/contactMichael and Amrit, talk about the importance of having a deep connection to our soul to find our spirit and live authentically, and about the knowledge that keeps pouring in to awaken us. When we find our gifts and share them, we can consciously connect and become creative. We can change the world, heal it from its wounds, and have a worldview based on connection. The dive deep into the origins of Michael’s mythical journey, myth as language, and why people have lost their vertical imagination. They converse about ways in which the soul grows and finds its unique project and path in life, and what supports it on the journey. Michael was given a book on mythology on his thirteenth birthday. Though he immersed into it, it would take another 20 years before it became evident it was his path in life. At the age of twenty, Michael was drafted into the army of the Vietnam War. Refusing to take orders, he was sent to prison’s solitary confinement. After six months, he came out knowing he had a unique connection to something meaningful to him which guided him to his current calling as a renowned storyteller. Meade called this initiation. His soul grew and found its unique project in life, by reaching wisdom and descending to the depths of his soul for love and healing. This transformation is about separation, ordeal, and the conscious return to community. Michael talks about the genius path. “Genius” is referring to the unique spirit that is in each person’s soul. Everybody is born with a spirit which means they are gifted. When people discover their gifts and share them, they become creative and can even navigate through turmoil. Transformation at the level of the individual heart and soul generates the imagination and collective energy needed for the renewal of community as well as a restoration of nature.Vertical imagination is the center of mysticism. It is the capacity to imagine the height of heavens and feel the depth of the underworld. In order to stay connected to the spirit, we need to have been in the depth of our soul. Meade believes there is a loss of vertical imagination in the world today which leaves people separated from the deep self and soul. Knowledge is pouring in all the time to awaken us. We must be drawn out of ourselves to become ourselves, and the soul knows that. Call it the awakening of your innate genius, your purpose. When you hear the call you must follow it so you don’t lose the thread of your life. This thread represents the hidden eternity within and the capacity to awaken to how and where they are threaded into the chain of being. The world is in trouble. Disconnection from nature and each other takes us to places of darkness and suffering. Michael sees darkness as the opportunity to interact with creative energy. We are living at the end of an era and are on a path to create a new one. If we have that deep connection to your souls and live as our own true selves, we can naturally become agents of creation and change this world.Tune In: Welcome Michael Meade to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)Michael’s journey into mysticism:(01:28)Myth as a real language:(04:07)Being vertically connected and what holds us back from these vertical imaginational pieces:(07:11)About what loss of imagination may be in service to:(10:52)Why many disconnect from mythical imagination:(17:41)Sense of listening and connection available in today's age:(25:04)Assuming responsibility in a collective awakening:(33:03)Support on a mythical journey:(43:05)Michael Meade books:Awakening the Soul: https://amz.run/4m9i The Genius Myth: https://amz.run/4m9j Fate and Destiny: The Two Agreements of The Soul: https://amz.run/4m5C Mentioned resources:Carl Jung: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Jung Connect with Michael Meade:Website: www.mosaicvoices.org Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MichaelMeadeMosaic/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/michaelmeade_mosaicvoicesTwitter: https://twitter.com/MMeade_MythYoutube channel: https://www.youtube.com/mosaicvoices Join the Inspired Evolution Community:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/InspiredEvolution/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/InspiredEvo/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/InspiredEvolution/ Website: https://inspiredevolution.com/ Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. In this episode, Adam and Amrit talk about music, creativity, expression and the harmful effects of having a “label”. They dive deep into frequency, the expression of life that comes through you, how to distinguish the world’s frequency from your own and why you need to be more aware of the person who you are.Adam McInnis is an artist, producer, music mentor, singer and songwriter. He is the owner of The Billboard 500 Club, a private mentorship for musicians, artists, and upcoming executives, and Music Industry Contact, an online source for high-level education, opportunities, collaborations, songwriting contests, and mentorships. And co-owner of Kimura Music, a sync and management company, and Neverland Retreats, an experience-based music and adventure company. You are a living energy field. Your body is composed of energy particles in constant motion. So, like everything and everyone else in the universe, you are vibrating and creating energy. You emanate energy and receive it from others. Vibration starts with the intention of thought and it can only be felt, sensed or reacted to. Thought, such as joy, peace, and acceptance, create high frequency vibrations, while other feelings such as anger, despair, fear and stress vibrate at a lower rate. You are responsible for your life and the way you vibrate. Tune into yourself and your core beliefs, and you will raise your energetic frequency which is one of the best gifts you can give the world. When you lift yourself up, you bring others with you. This is the only way you can contribute to raising the collective consciousness of the world.Everyone's experience of life is different, so the reflection of energy is different too. Your life and energy affects all you do. The magic is that no two people can express things the same way. Everybody has their unique expression from their spirit and soul. Many times people get “labels” but they are way more than that. They are an expression of spirit and soul. Labeling people limits our curiosity about them, avoiding connection and so much more. Adam doesn’t have labels and loves what he does. Music is an expression of certain energetic sequences and Adam understands this information very well.Music is a strong hypnosis, it stimulates the subconscious mind, putting suggestions into it, and then if the drums beat, it becomes part of a new program. The magic is that no two people can express music or anything in the same way. Music is one of the only energy forms that can travel around the world and never lose its intentional vibration from the beginning. Bob Marley’s music can prove this. In all his music, he connected his intention deep in thought, combining it with a beautiful tune which makes it unique. Marley’s music reflects what came out of his soul. He knew exactly who he was and prophesied through his music, that is why it hasn't lost its intention throughout the years. Adam states people are losing their natural ability to know what their dna is telling them at all times. He states this making reference to the word love. People talk a lot about it, but don’t know what it means. If you don't understand it, you are not giving value to yourself, to your relationships, to your family, to anything in your life. Words are powerful expression tools. Words can be constructive but destructive too. You need to understand what they mean. When words don’t hold their meaning, communication is hampered. And when it is disrupted and misunderstandings arise, manipulators can use indirect tactics to control your behavior, emotions, and relationships.Tune In: Welcome Adam McInnis to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)About limiting labels:(03:31)Life as an expression of you:(16:11)About showing up %100 and the importance of how we share our words:(18:03)About the inability people have to know what their DNA tells them and manipulation tactics taking control:(40:07)How to create your frequency and stay connected to it:(44:10)Connect with Adam McInnis:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/adammcinnisTwitter: https://twitter.com/adammcinnis1?lang=enLinkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/adam-mcinnis-094a42/ Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbNdKRkbee3H_SedvXMjx7g Music Industry Contact Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/musicindustrycontact/ Music Industry Contact Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/musicindustrycontact/?hl=en The Billboard 500 Club: https://thebillboard500.com/ Neverland Retreats: http://neverlandretreats.com/ Join the Inspired Evolution Community:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/InspiredEvolution/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/InspiredEvo/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/InspiredEvolution/ Website: https://inspiredevolution.com/ Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 182IE182 Dr. Ivan Misner: Mastering the Art of Business Networking: Strategies for Global Connection and Success (BNI - Business Networking International)
In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Dr. Ivan Misner, Ph.D. in Organizational behaviour, the founder and chief visionary officer of BNI (Business Network International) the world’s largest business networking organization, a columnist for Entrepreneur.com, a keynote speaker, and a NY Times bestselling author of many books including the latest one “Who's in Your Room: The Secret to Creating Your Best Life”In “Who’s In Your Room”, Dr. Misner shares how the quality of your life greatly depends on the people who surround you: https://amz.run/4jTbAmrit and Dr. Ivan Misner, talk about the significance of working in your flame and not in your wax, the power of networking and the importance of having relationships in this dynamic world we live in.Dr. Ivan Misner states you need to work in your flame and not in your wax. This means, you must work hard on what you most love to do in your business to reach success. He strongly believes you can take steps in your journey toward truly loving what you do for a living. He started a management consulting business in 1983. At the end of 1984, he needed new business and had to find a way to engender more referrals. So he decided to create his own networking group with people he knew and trusted, and wanted to refer business to. This group integrated business with relationships under one core value of giving first. By the end of the year there were 20 groups and he needed to start a plan to scale. The organization now has over 10,000 chapters throughout the globe. And he keeps on doing what he most loves to do: helping others.Dr. Misner talks about core values as the fundamental beliefs and guiding principles that dictate behavior and help people better understand expectations within the organizational context. BNI’s core values start with Givers Gain, one of the best attitudes you can have to live your life. Embracing this philosophy of giving first will change your life and those around you. And when it changes enough lives, it will change the world. Genuine love towards one another. This is the kind of vision that people need to establish with whatever business they start. He elucidates that being a good receiver is vital. This ensures the philosophy works and leads to a life of infinite giving. You must accept it is alright to gain, if not you will find yourself out of resources, and the giving will stop. It is essential that the givers also gain what they need so that they can give over and over. In this way, infinite giving becomes a part of who you are in all you do. Giving first is fundamental. But, you cannot constantly give at your own expense. They dive deep into the importance of cultivating relationships and networking, and the VCP mindset and skill set to help you do so. It is important to cultivate long-term relationships and you need the proper mindset to do so. You must be visible and credible, and once they know who you are and are good at what you do, they will be willing to refer business to you. Networking up with people who are leagues beyond yourself in business depends on your authenticity and willingness to help them.Focusing on the other person and creating value to them can help forge long-term relationships.Building long-term relationships and having a network is extremely important for you to live a meaningful life and transition through this crazy world. The people in your network are going to be the ones that will help you in difficult times. “Your network is a beacon of hope in a sea of fear”You need a mindset to cultivate these relationships. First people have to know who you are and what you do. Secondly they must know you are good at it. If they know who you are and you are good at what you do, they will be willing to refer business to you. You can build relationships in developing referrals. If you want to network up and connect with people who are leagues beyond yourself in business, Dr. Ivan insists you must not sell to them, instead be authentic and ask how you can help them. Focusing on the other person and creating value to them can help forge long-term relationships.“If you are always the most successful in the room, you are hanging out in the wrong rooms. All rooms are ok, but you need to find somewhere you can network up”About Dr. Ivan Misner:Dr. Ivan Misner is the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of BNI, the world’s largest business networking organization. Founded in 1985 the organization now has over 10,000 chapters throughout every populated continent of the world. Each year, BNI passes millions of referrals resulting in billions of dollars worth of business for its members.Dr. Misner’s Ph.D. is from the University of Southern California. He is a New York Times Bestselling author who has written 26 books including one of his latest books, Who’s in Your Room? He is also a columnist for Entrepreneur.com and has been a university professor as well as a member of the Board of Trustees for the University

Ep 181IE181 Dr. Zach Bush: on Death, Dying, and Rebirth: Secrets to Graceful Life Transitions (Hospice, Death's Mysteries, and Rebirth)
In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Dr. Zach Bush, a triple board-certified physician in internal medicine, endocrinology and metabolism, and hospice care. Dr. Bush is an internationally recognized educator and thought leader on the microbiome as it relates to health, disease, and food systems and is the founder and director of The M Clinic, an integrative health center in Virginia, and founder Seraphic Group and the non-profit Farmer’s Footprint, both created to develop root-cause solutions for human and ecological health.Amrit and Dr. Zach dive deep into the human experience of life and death, three births and the importance of aligning with nature at all levels. They have a mind-blowing conversation about radical acceptance that will take you all the way to feeling completely and utterly accepted!Dr. Zach believes there are three births. Life is an incessant course of transitions. You are born, then turn into an adolescent and finally into an adult. Each transformation provides all the physical, mental, and emotional growth you need to survive. Death is just one of the transition points. It is the movement between this existence and the next.He is fascinated about nature and how it works. He goes way back to the origin of our own pure self; the first conception and the womb as a protected place where the embryo, with it’s own energetic centre of consciousness, can grow sheltered from the mother’s immune system, the world, and the traumas that humanity has gone through in its history. As soon as the child goes through the vaginal canal, the second conception and seeding takes place. The child inherits the entire microbiome of the mother. Microbiome is this vast ecosystem that is very much the soil that will nurture that life into existence. It is the foundation of human life, consciousness and health. The third birth is death. He talks about death in the most uplifting and beautiful way ever imagined. Death is not the end, and he learned this through his own experience way back in the ICU. In fact, this is when Dr. Zach decided to focus on nature and palliative care. He used to try to take control over life so death would not happen through technology and medicine. But, when he took the patients off life support mechanisms and let the family be with them and realized the most amazing exchanges of human intelligence and human consciousness would occur; he decided his medical approach had to change. We have become so separated from nature, that we see death as the end. But if you recognize it as a part of nature, it becomes a transition period between one form of existence and another. “Once we come to view all of life as a transition and understand we are here on Earth to transform, we can better appreciate the spiritual journey encompassing the natural processes of living and dying”Dr. Zach shares a sad, yet beautiful and uplifting story so you can expand your thoughts about death and radical acceptance. This is a story that happened back in the ICU. Zach brought two patients back from death. These patients didn't know each other, came from different backgrounds and had a different temper. One of them was fun and had lots of people come to visit him when he was hospitalized, the other was bitter and had just one person visit him the whole time he was in hospital. Yet both of them experienced the same feeling of absolute acceptance after death and neither of them wanted to be brought back. After death, the social guy who had always been accepted, felt even more acceptance, and the bitter guy said it was the first time he had ever been accepted. Death is a transformation moment and an extension that goes beyond the limits of the body we carry. The moment we step out of this shell, we discover the universe. A Universe that embraces and completely accepts us by who we are. He states every soul on this planet is enough at every single point of their existence. “We should surrender what we think we know if we are going to realize our full potential before we die. We need to wake up. It could get really good around here”Furthermore they talk about the comfort in convenience of technology, the importance of farming as a collective, and his regenerative agricultural practices as a solution to the human and environmental impacts of chemicals. We have created and are in control of huge chemical farms which destroy soil, water systems, oceans, human and animal health, and everything on this planet. Zach believes we can transform this planet into a regenerative ecosystem as long as we work all together with mother nature. By doing this, he states farmers and consumers will witness richer soil and water, and an overflow of health. Dr. Zach Bush is on a mission. He wants to bring regenerative health to every living being. Industrial farming, chemical pesticides, the pharmaceutical industry and even errant Western medical practices have a tremendous impact on both hu

Learn how to define your personal ethics and goals, how to reach them, and start a journey that will last a lifetime with “Are You Ready to Succeed?: Unconventional strategies for achieving personal mastery in business and in life” by Dr. Srikumar Rao.Dr. Rao believes you have to be focussed on the journey and not on the outcome. The purpose of setting a goal and achieving it, is to learn and grow as you level your best to achieve that goal. Once you understand that and get comfortable with it, you will find that you are applying it. When this happens, you stop focusing on the outcome. When you set a goal for yourself, you must take care of your actions. All your energy and attention must be on the actions and forget about the goal. Being consistent, objective, and when something doesn’t work out, switch on to something else. You learn through failure. And it is all a question of learning and growing, learning and growing. Learning and enjoying as much as you can all along the way. Dr. Srikumar comments that lots of people in his program want to find their purpose. You don’t find it, you create it, and you can start doing it wherever you are with what you have at hand. But he strongly affirms that whatever you do, has to make you happy. And this shouldn’t make you happy just for a moment, it should make you happy for weeks. When your heart sings for a long time, your life lightens up. You begin to enjoy the journey. You shine and vibrate, and your energy gets magnified. In this state of bliss not only can you be in service to many others but also attract the people who align with you. With Dr. Rao’s approach to reach your goals, there is no way you will lose. If you don't reach your goal, you will have learned so many things in the process trying to reach them. And these things are extremely valuable to yourself. With a heart that sings, a mind at peace, and an accumulated pack of learnings, you will become who you truly are and be more resilient no matter what comes your way“When you don't worry about destination and enjoy the journey, you get to destination faster”Amrit and Dr. Rao, talk about the ethos of service and why it is a fundamental pillar to reach joy and fulfillment, and build a business. He believes in the desire of being in service to a better cause. When you give good customer service, it becomes the outward manifestation of the person you are. No matter what, your service must be good. It will make your customer like it, happier and feel comfortable. It will make the world a better place and it will enable you to continue working on yourself.Last, but not least, they talk about the mindset an entrepreneur must have on this spiritual journey, the daunting feeling of hiring the right person or not for your business and the best ways to shift our perception of the world to improve who we are.Every entrepreneur must think of “one more step” in times of failure. When everything doesn’t feel right and you are failing, taking just one more step will help you pull through. Dr. Rao refers to the book “Lone Survivor”, about Marcus Luttrell, the only member of a team of four who survived an operation in Afghanistan. When he was asked how he did so, he attributed it to the extremely tough “Hell Week Seal Training” and declared the only ones that survive this training are the ones that take one more step. Hiring the right person or not, shouldn’t be a daunting experience. Dr. Rao talks about the beautiful and amazing Universe, and all that it gives to us is for a good reason. The Universe gives us all that we need to be able to learn and grow on our journey. Whether the employee is the ri

Ep 178IE178 Oz Garcia: Master Longevity & Wellness: Key Secret Strategies for Ageless Vitality
In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Oz García, nutritional counselor, anti-aging consultant, speaker and the best selling author of several books on the matter.Oz Garcia is the founder of The Longevity Lounge, a clinical destination for anti-aging and beautification services. He provides customized longevity plans for his clients.Amrit and Oz talk about all that it takes to live a long and healthy life. In his early twenties, Oz used to live against his beliefs making his public view more important than his value system. He used to be a photographer who drank coffee several times a day, smoked cigarettes non stop and suffered from migraines which no doctors were able to cure. He knew something was wrong underneath the surface and began to explore new alternatives. He began to frequent one of the three available health stores at the time, where he discovered a whole new concept of functional eating and bought the book “The Miracle of Fasting by Paul Bragg”. Soon after reading it, he did his first fast. Concurrently, he took a course in the Landmark Form before known as EST training and began to get involved in several courses. He also took classes at the East West Center for Holistic Health, where he experimented with new alternative methods of health and healing. He slowly made the transition to a healthier lifestyle. He became a vegetarian for a number of years, started fasting, cut out coffee and cigarettes, and started running. Soon his migraines were gone too. At the age of twenty four, Oz embarked on a transformational journey that has brought him to where he is today. Ever since, he practices what he preaches and strongly believes that the driver of this transformational journey is all about being passionate, curious, creative and always wanting to know more. “I finally made a decision about what I wanted out of my life. I knew I didn't want to be in an artificial world”According to Garcia, lifestyle adjustments in what we eat, how we think and how we exercise are necessary as we get older. He says there are ways to slow the aging process and live well. Nutrition, exercise, meditation, sleep, food, and time outdoors are critical, but cultivating intelligence, thinking, passion, community, and our “self”, are equally as critical.Amrit and Oz dive deep into the importance of cultivating each one of these.Oz believes good thoughts overwhelms bad impulse, and once you understand that, then you can start making choices. Sometimes these choices are not the right ones, but you learn from them that helps you go further along the journey. In regards to cultivating thinking, you can regulate what you're thinking and what is worth suffering over or not. Destructive emotions result from errors of judgment. In regards to cultivating community, this is central to human experience. Having a sense of belonging unites us. Being a part of a community can help you connect with others, engage with others, and boost your physical and mental health. Oz supports this with the story of a lady who lived to be one hundred and six. We all need to cultivate a better life and it always begins with how we take care of ourselves.According to Garcia, to be able to cultivate our “self” we have the obligation, among many, to invent ourselves or reinvent ourselves in ways that leave our mind at peace to switch to a place of joy. Joy is peace in motion. He emphasizes on spending some time of the day thinking about what kind of a human being we want to be and journaling on a daily basis. He refers to the ”Five-minute Journal”, gratitude exercises that will help you sharpen your ability to focus on the good things in life, elevate yourself, be happier, improve relationships, and shift your mind to being positive. The more you do these practices, the more antifragile you become, therefore more authentic and more sincere. Oz shares some ways to regulate what is going on with your body and dives into how important it is to listen to people that have already mastered that space.“You have to earn your health, and discipline must be your shadow. Being disciplined comes with so many human rewards”In drawing things to a close, Amrit shares a beautiful proverb to the secret of living well and longer…“Eat half, walk double, laugh triple, and love without measure”Level up your life with unlimited access to every Mindvalley Quest Program (over 30+ programs). All Yours. Instantly. https://inspiredevolution.com/recommends/mindvalley/About Oz García:Oz Garcia is recognized as a world's leading authority on healthy aging. Ep 177IE177 Jonni Pollard: Vibrate Higher: Master Vedic Wisdom & The Golden Sequence Secrets
In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Jonni Pollard, a recognized meditation and wisdom teacher, speaker, author of “The Golden Sequence: A Manual for Reclaiming Our Humanity” and host of the 1Giant Podcast where he is interviewed by curious minds looking for insights on meditation and the wellbeing of our humanity.Get Jonni’s book here: https://inspiredevolution.com/recommends/jonni-pollard/He is the co-founder and executive director at 1 Giant Mind, a multi-national charitable organisation established to reduce stress related mental illness and lifestyle disease by delivering free digital meditation and education programs to those in need.Jonni believes that the actual global crisis we are all undergoing is ingrained in our disconnection from our true purpose and responsibility of belonging.Amrit and Jonni talk about the importance of rediscovering your authentic human nature, learning how to reclaim it as your greatest power, and finding fulfillment through seeing the change and impact you can make in the world. As far as Jonni can remember, he instinctively has been devoted to honouring his spirit. As a teenager he had a foundational perspective towards humanity which he wasn’t willing to let go of. It was hard to conform with things that had no meaning to him, so he would define himself in some other way that society was demanding, becoming rebellious and isolated in his own beliefs.Jonni had a deep desire to belong, but this non-acceptance was causing a deep pain in his heart. This eventually led him to India where he engaged in the teachings of some of the greatest masters. He received insight and support in the process of his revolutionary awakening.Jonni discovered who he truly was and embraced it, who we are as a species and our responsibility as individuals. He adopted the foundations of how to process every speck of information that could then render into knowledge and finally be embodied into wisdom. He came to realize that the whole sense of wholeness comes from the understanding that we belong to the greater whole and are intimately connected. That our humanity is expressed in some kind of framework that we all belong to. It is being aware of the needs of the greater whole and how we bring our individuality to serve that, elevate that, and ensure that it is stable and balanced.Ever since, he has been on this beautiful journey of self discovery. Now he teaches Vedic Meditation and is a teacher of the ancient Vedic wisdom. This knowledge is foundational to our existence and offers a completely inclusive perspective on everything that correlates with our yearning to unify with each other and all of nature.Jonni and Amrit dive deep into the system of creation, maintenance and dissolution that are paramount to nature and human existence and why so many of us are resistant to change.Whatever we have been maintaining for such a long time and is no longer relevant, gets relegated into a process of dissolution and dissolves. All that does not work is here for a reason. It is here so something new can evolve; a new creation. When we are so deeply traumatized by the environment that we have created, neurologically we become more resistant to change. The part of the brain that is capable of creating and innovating, gets shut down so it can face the danger ahead of us. Jonni refers to “trapped in a cycle of desperation and survival” when talking about this resistance. This means that we are always on the lookout and ready to either fight or flee for our lives, which makes us feel anxious, worried, afraid and so much more. And the only way to guarantee safety and security is through the accumulation of things outside ourselves. Survival mode disconnects us from ourselves. Jonni shares practices to gain access to the place where wisdom lies deep within. He affirms you must introduce new habits to change the physiology of your nervous system and brain, referring to confronting past trauma and then coming to terms with your power. This can only happen if you are willing to first sit in discomfort and accept your negative thoughts and feelings. The purpose of this is to establish a habit of identifying the moment in which you find yourself in conflict, and revert it to a deeper state. The only way to access it is by cultivating it through meditation.Within each one of you is an unexplored power to create the change you dream of. This change benefits you as an individual and the community as a whole, allowing every single one of us to break through toxic beliefs and constraints.“There is nothing more elevated than being in the presence of someone who demonstrates your worthiness because that is the thing that awakens the human heart; It inspires the heart almost involuntarily to reciprocate.”“The world can only change through micro conscious activism where human hearts open, connect and share”About Jonni Pollard:Jonni Pollard is an internationally recognized meditation & wisdom te

In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Dr. Patrick Gentempo, referred to as the “Philosopher-Entrepreneur”, chiropractor, a star in the world of health, wellness and business, international speaker and best-selling author of the book “Your Stand is Your Brand”. He is the founder and CEO of Action Potential Holdings, Inc. as well as the CEO of Revealed Films. "Everyone has a philosophy, the only question is whether they know it or not.”We all have philosophies we live by. We may have adopted those philosophies intentionally but, in many cases, they may simply be premises passed down to us by some family member, teacher, or preacher. Whatever the case, the philosophies we live by drive our behaviors and, ultimately, dictate our outcomes, so it is important to identify what they are.Dr. Patrick Gentempo and Amrit dive deep into Patrick’s application of philosophy as a practical tool for human achievement and his successful book “Your Stand is Your Brand” on how deciding “who to be” will revolutionize not only your business but your life too. If you would like to have access to his book “Your Stand is Your Brand” to supercharge your growth in business, and in your personal life, please go to: https://inspiredevolution.com/recommends/patrick-gentempo/Patrick refers to three branches of five in philosophy - metaphysics, epistemology and ethics - when doing philosophical exploration. Metaphysics is your view of reality, epistemology is the theory of knowledge and ethics is the one that provides you with a code of values that will be a guide to your actions and drive you towards your purpose. Through philosophical explorations you can identify existing contradictions in your own life. If you identify your contradictions, you can solve them, and then surpass actual challenges and pass onto the next level becoming a better version of yourself. He refers to Ayn Rand when talking about contradictions. She stated that “contradictions” lead to destruction. When you have contradictions in your basic philosophical premises the only possible result is destruction and the amount of destruction is relevant to the level of that contradiction. They talk about the importance of taking a stand and never taking opportunities over values no matter how good an opportunity may look. When an opportunity is in conflict with your values, it is not good for you. Taking a stand is the most crucial thing you can do to become more successful than ever. Your stand must be based on our own philosophical premises, key values, and purpose, and they must be aligned. And if they are in sync, you will have the power to grow in your personal life and your business too.“When you take a stand, it means you understand what your values are. That takes a clarifying exercise to know which they are making sure you don't have any contradiction”In regards to starting a business, the whole idea of a business is giving it a soul; giving it a philosophy. That means knowing and clarifying its values, its purpose, its vision, all together becoming the heartbeat and the soul of the business. When you and everyone else operate in alignment with those values magic happens, but when you have contradictions your business begins to perish. In addition, there is an amazing conversation about finding your “Miles Davis” and the importance of creative destruction.Finding your “Miles Davis”, means going back, figuring out the pure state of you, understanding who this person is by identity and expressing it out to the world to the fullest, with all your passion and heart - “Miles Davis was known for being able to express the purest expression of your soul”Patrick discovered what it meant to find your “Miles Davis” back at Eleven Madison Park Restaurant, and uses “The Story of the Phoenix” as a metaphor for the concept of creative destruction. The owners of Eleven Madison Park Restaurant have their own values, recognize contradictions and resolve them, and continue to thrive by taking a stand every time they recognize them. Over a period of years, Eleven Madison Park was a Michelin three-star restaurant, but they took it a step further. They were voted the number one restaurant in the world. Shortly after receiving this amazing award, they closed the restaurant down in order to “burn it down” to start from scratch and reinvent themselves. Whatever comes next is, with no doubt, going to be explosive and financially successful. They were creatively destructive like the story of the phoenix. The phoenix is a mythical bird that dies in the fire and then emerges out of the ashes vibrant, youthful, and more beautiful than it was before. It repeats this cycle over and over again. Its death was tragic, because something beautiful was destroyed, yet out of that event arose something more beautiful, spiritual and powerful. This story applies to Eleven Madison Park, but can also apply to you or your business. It means finding your “Mi

Ep 175IE175 Dr. Tracy Kopp: The Urban Alchemist: Holistic Wellness & Transformation in the Heart of the City (The Urban Alchemist)
In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Tracy Kopp, owner and director of The Urban Alchemist, a holistic health clinic with a team of over fifteen expert health and wellness practitioners providing wellbeing solutions for their clients’ mind, body and soul. Tracy, with so much courage and vulnerability, has come to share her story. She has reached a point in her journey where sharing what she has learned for the benefit of others feels an important part of her healing process. Amrit and Tracy dive deep into an open and heartfelt conversation about the wounds that have been stuck in Tracy’s body and heart for so long, the healing process she is facing with amazing fortitude and the positive effects on her most loved ones. The ‘mother wound’ may be defined as a loss or a lack of mothering. This is typically a deficit in the mother-daughter relationships that is passed down through generations of women in patriarchal cultures, and it is a reflection on how we have experienced parenting and how we parent. In her early twenties, Tracy suffered from anxiety and depression. She looked to talk therapy for answers but couldn’t find her way out of feeling like a victim in her relationships. She blamed her mother for a great deal of her pain. Like many mother/daughter relationships, theirs was marked by emotional distance. Having never been shown how to manage her own feelings, Tracy’s mother had been unable to pass on this skill to her daughter. Tracy became a mother of a beautiful baby girl, Ivy, at just 21. Neither herself nor her partner had any idea of the responsibilities of parenthood. In Ivy’s early years, Tracy enjoyed motherhood and her child tremendously, but things began to get dark. She and her partner were constantly fighting. Ivy’s needs went unmet for long periods of time and when the family eventually broke down, Ivy suffered deep trauma as her parent’s feud escalated. As a single mother carrying most of the load of caring for her daughter, Tracy was consumed by her own difficulties. She lacked the skills to control her own feelings of rage and despair, and acted abusively toward her daughter much of the time. She knew this was harmful for her daughter, but the struggle with her own demons left little room for learning patience or grace. Over time, Tracy saw the impact this cycle was having on her daughter. She wondered if the damage done was so great that their relationship might never be repaired. With a great deal of shame and fear, she decided it was time to have a look at what was going on inside herself. By turning within and facing what was hard to see, she began to recognize the harmful patterns inherent in her parenting and slowly break them. Today Ivy and Tracy have reached a place of real care and love where there is true understanding of the other’s experience. “I feel that she forgives me in a really meaningful way because she has seen how deep I will dig for her.” Tracy knows that her story is not unique and feels that by speaking openly about her journey, she may help others recognise that they, too, can make amends when they’ve hurt someone close. Ep 174IE174 Josh Gryniewicz: Crafting Change through Storytelling: Social Impact, and Saving Lives (OddDuck)
In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Josh Gryniewicz, a storyteller, storytelling consultant and writer. He is founder of Odd Duck LLC., a boutique storytelling for social change communication firm, that works with nonprofits, NGOs, social impact start-ups, and issue-based documentaries to help them shape their narrative.Josh Gryniewicz is co-host of the beautiful Story Matters podcast. This podcast is about why story actually does matter. It focuses on the use of story for social change and the power of narrative to shape culture, especially during times of crisis. We are going through climate change and social challenges that are threatening our democracy and safety. We are also in the middle of a global pandemic. But Josh and Story Matters give hope. This podcast uses the power of imagination conveyed by narrative to overcome all the adversity and sad things that we are facing in this world. “We need to think more broadly and that means a call for radical imagination and changing the narrative of everything that brought us to this point”“Narrative gives us the structure to reimagine what's possible and see solutions”Story Matters brings the storytelling campfire experience right to you! If you would like to listen to it, please go to: https://www.storymatters.site/Josh and Amrit dive deep into the heart of “story”. They share an entertaining and fascinating conversation about the depths and history of “story”, and what it means to be living your story. Josh is a storyteller above all and covers more than 45000 years of evolutionary storytelling history. Amrit is wisdom hungry and completely fascinated about storytelling ever since he can talk. They both turn this episode into a moment of bliss.Amrit makes reference to experts in psychology, mythology, unified physics, religion, literature, philosophy, neuroscience and human cultural evolution amongst others to explore his point. He believes that wisdom, especially in his country, was passed on to later generations through the ability of storytelling, and we have lost some of that art because of the need of writing and not being able to transmit stories verbally. He sees clearly how much story informs us as human beings and our story and narrative. We are connected to our story and our story informs our presence; the way we live is through our character and the character is in our story. Josh believes a lot of storytelling is a learning tool but going back to the aboriginal origins, he remarks that it was used for a cooperative purpose. In regards to written word as opposed to the oral traditions, he affirms that when you start recording a series of events in a factual and detailed way all it does is reinforce the protagonist models making us follow somebody through a narrative from beginning to end. This isolates us and takes us away from the collective model where we are all together getting bits of that story and sharing that space. When Josh is training, he talks a lot about Joseph Campbell’s “Hero Myth”, a common template of stories that involve a hero who goes on an adventure, is victorious in a decisive crisis, and comes home changed or transformed. And also refers to his favourite and beautiful concept of “Sonder”, the realization that each random passer-by is living a life as vivid and complex as your own. Josh embodies and strongly believes that every single one of us has an informed rich inner life, we all have our own experiences, and we are all protagonists in our own stories. Everybody is in a story with their own story and collectively trying to bring all those stories together.Sharing story can heal you. Josh has witnessed it at first hand and states that healing is about looking at your trauma through your lense and taking ownership and action over it. And each time you heal, your story shifts including more of what is relevant in your life and reducing the trauma. Finally, Josh talks about why we identify with some characters in movies and books. When you identify with a character, you identify with their narrative and this activates the same parts of your brain, so what you are sensing is because you are very in tuned with your own mind. He also shares a short hilarious story about Hemingway you can't miss, as well as another couple of arguments to demonstrate there is something about how the viewer, listener, experiencer, audiencer, of the story interprets what they see and how they incorporate it into their own experiences.Gryniewicz shares ways in which people can connect to their own story. He himself is focussed on sharing stories publicly and connects by journaling and picking up things of his day, looking at them in different ways and trying to understand how important they are to him. Personally he suggests you pay attention to the stories you tell yourself and why you tell them in a certain way. If you see it needs to be changed, then change it. In this chapter you will learn how t

Ep 173IE173 Daniel Packard: Revolutionary Anxiety Healing: Master Your Nervous System & Inner Child (Anxiety Cure)
In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Daniel Packard, a mechanical engineer, professional stand-up comedian, coach, award winning trainer and speaker. He is the owner of You 2.0, an innovative online training where he trains you to fully Upgrade Your Selfware. He has created an innovative and profound approach to personal change. Daniel believes that personal development can support you, but many times it magnifies your own struggles and your patterns keep repeating. You might be doing all sorts of things to address your own issues but find that nothing works or helps you make a shift. He has discovered a solution to keep you off the hamster wheel. It is a fun, simple, and solvable solution that will help you get your power back to be completely free of what holds you back and understand yourself in a whole new way.Daniel developed a model of understanding. All these patterns are symptoms that come from the root core of your “selfware” (software that operates you as a system) and he has identified two “glitches'' (created by past experiences) in it that are responsible for the ways in which you navigate the world. Stress, insecurity, unhappiness, lack of success, unhealthy relationships are all just symptoms of these core glitches in our “Selfware”. If you don’t heal these core glitches, these symptoms just keep following you around.Daniel and Amrit dive deep into a conversation about personal development, the disruption of it and Daniel’s revolutionary effective solution to personal change that stems from his own personal journey. Daniel took more than fifteen years to develop this solution.Daniel had been working on his personal development for several years when he was struck by PTSD reaching rock bottom. In complete agony, depression and the mindset of an engineer, Daniel realized he had been managing symptoms for too long and he didn't want to manage symptoms anymore. He wanted to be free of symptoms.Lying in a hammock he managed to see the whole matrix. He had been doing everything backwards. He decided he had to flip this whole thing on its end, to be free. So, he left his comfort zone and started figuring out a solution. He went to the root cause of his symptoms, healed the root cause with a process, and a couple of years later, the symptoms were gone and all what he had been working for, naturally appeared.Once Daniel saw that these glitches in our Selfware were creating all the patterns, he then spent another ten years working with over a thousand people to design, develop and perfect an innovative internal process that allows you to simply and quickly upgrade the 'glitches' in your 'Selfware.'His tools and systems are deeply effective, but also practical and easy to learn. If you would like to book a call with Daniel Packard, go to: https://www.danielpackard.com/call - Please fill out your details in the form and his assistant will reach out to you to help schedule your call. In this call Daniel will show you proof of his concept. Amrit himself has experienced Daniel’s work first hand, finding it utterly effective, and soon will be continuing the whole training process. “Take the struggles and upgrade the glitch so you don't have any more rock bottoms”“You don't have to keep on working on yourself for all your life. Ep 172IE172 Dr. Harry Adelson: Stem Cells: A New Era in Regenerative Medicine - Revolutionizing Pain Relief and more...
In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Dr. Harry Adelson, N.D., naturopathic physician and stem cell specialist. He is the inventor of the Full-Body Stem Cell Make-Over and the owner at Docere Clinics in Salt Lake City, USA, a company dedicated to the practice of 100% regenerative injection therapies for the treatment of musculoskeletal pain conditions.Dr. Adelson is a leader in the field of regenerative medicine procedures including adult stem cells and PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injection therapies for chronic pain. He is one of the very early adopters of stem cell therapy for the treatment of chronic spine pain and is among the most experienced in the world. Pain is something we can all experience some time or another. And when it becomes chronic, it can be incredibly draining and destroy your quality of life and sense of purpose. Usually, chronic pain is something we experience as we get older, but it can happen anytime. We must take care and support our body’s own sagacity to recover rather than use approaches that suppress. “Pain of the low back, neck, and joints is the leading cause of disability worldwide.”Dr. Harry Adelson and Amrit talk about Dr. Adelson’s stem cell therapy to treat pain of the low back, neck, and joints so you can have a sense of purpose, get your life back and live it to the fullest. Dr. Harry Adelson was fascinated about rock climbing, and during training, he got his shoulder labrum torn. This happened when he was only twenty five, extremely healthy and attending naturopathic school. No treatments solved the problem until he came across Dr Rick Marinelli. This doctor was the first naturopathic doctor to do prolotherapy, an injection of natural substances that tricks the body to launch the body’s natural healing cascade.Dr. Adelson received this successful treatment and then began doing it himself. He did it for more than six years. Soon after he came across PRP with which he got to do the job in half as many treatments as in prolotherapy. After several years practicing PRP, Harry received a patient in his office. This lady wanted him to put bone marrow stem cells into her painful knee. Not sure about whether he could do it or not, she convinced him. Ever since 2010, he has been doing narrow bone aspirations.Harry and Amrit dive deep into regenerative medicine; the body’s ability to heal itself, the cutting-edge bone marrow aspirations, the process of healing and the way he proceeds in his treatment. When you undergo an injury your stem cells (stem cells exist in all the tissues in our body, and their job is to maintain the health of their microenvironment) launch a healing cascade but if you don't have complete healing then you have a chronic pain syndrome. And people with chronic syndromes are the ones Harry and his team treat. The treatment is based on taking stem cells from your bone marrow and your fat, and then injecting them into the damaged zone, getting the body’s natural healing cascade going. By tricking the body there, generates a new injury that will launch a healing cascade. The body gets a second chance at healing. When elder people’s stem cells lose their ability to manufacture and secrete exosomes, which are the actual active ingredient of the stem cells, the therapy team supplements their narrow bone stem cells and fat stem cells with placental stem cell derived exosomes, making their stem cell function like that of a younger person. The whole procedure of the treatment is done under intravenous sedation using either fluoroscopic needle guidance or ultrasound needle guidance for every injection.During healing, your body goes through different phases. First inflamation and then remodelling which can take almost a year. The cost of these treatments tend to be high. For this same reason, Dr. Harry has a Tithing Program. A program in which he performs stem cell procedures to the medically underserved at no charge either to combat service veterans or else in exchange for community service hours. If you would like to have access to this program, please go here: https://www.docereclinics.com/tithing-programLast, but not least they converse about tissue engineering which is still in a very early stage of research.Level up your life with unlimited access to every Mindvalley Quest Program (over 30+ programs). Ep 171IE171 John Assaraf: Master Your Mind: The Ultimate Guide to Achieving Anything with Neuroplasticity
In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews John Assaraf, leading mindset and behaviour expert, lecturer, well-known entrepreneur, best selling author, brain researcher, philanthropist, teacher, tv actor and the founder and CEO of NeuroGym.John’s latest bestselling book “Innercise: The New Science to Unlock Your Brain’s Hidden Power” helps you recognize and release the mental and emotional blocks that prevent you from achieving your life’s biggest goals and dreams. If you would like to have mental and emotional techniques to strengthen your mindset and unleash the hidden power of your brain, you can get a copy Innercise here: https://inspiredevolution.com/recommends/john-assaraf/Amrit and John dive deep into how thoughts lead to behaviour that generates results, and John’s neural reconditioning process and “innercises” you can start doing TODAY to change your habitual subconscious patterns and disempowering emotions that are holding you back from thriving personally, professionally and financially. When John Assaraf built his first real estate company at the age of twenty six, something was holding his agents back. Although they were making fortunes in sales, something was preventing them from making more. Despite training and upgrading their knowledge, they kept stuck. John discovered that once they became conditioned to earning a certain amount, they were repeating the same pattern over and over again keeping them stuck in their comfort zone. Through research John found out we become conditioned to certain ways and then repeat the patterns, as part of our brains' way to conserve energy and keep us in our comfort zone. He needed to uncover what would break his agents free from this conditioning. And that was what a mentor did with him in his early twenties. This coach not only helped him upgrade his knowledge and skills but trained his brain to develop the necessary beliefs to achieve his goals. He worked on upgrading his self inner, self worth and self esteem, and on how to manage his emotions of doubt, fear and uncertainty. They did “innercises” to upgrade his capacity as he upgraded his skills. So, John took 75 agents from the 1200, and coached them everyday for six months to upgrade their mindset to match the skill set. Over six months they increased in sales by one hundred million dollars more than they normally did. John proved that if you work on the inner game, you can affect the outer game. The lack of knowledge or skill doesn’t hold you back from reaching your fullest potential. It is your mindset, emotional blocks, and deeply ingrained habits that you must get rid of to clear the path towards victory and living the life of your dreams.Limiting beliefs, traumas and excuses are reinforced subconscious patterns that cause you to think, feel, and consistently behave in ways that produce the same results again and again. And there are several ways to disrupt patterns and create better ones. In this chapter John shares a couple of innercises to strengthen your mind when you are in a state of procrastination, doubt, anxiety or stress. The first one is a powerful breathing exercise and the second one is called A.I.A, used to reprogram your operating system through awareness, intention, and action, one simple and small action. These two innercises help you take control over your brain. Being aware of the pattern, interrupting it, and choosing what you want versus what you don't, will make you evolve. Then, if you do that over a long period of time, you will have a new dominant pattern and your old one will start to disappear. “What is the minimum that you can commit to doing that you will stick to for one hundred days?”“You can't master complexity without mastering simplicity first”“Our biggest growth comes out of a point of resistance and pushing past that until we have created a new pattern”About John Assaraf:John Assaraf is one of the leading mindset and behavioral experts in the world who has appeared numerous times on Larry King Live, Anderson Cooper and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. His latest bestselling book Innercise: The Proven Science to Unleash Your Brain’s Hidden Power, helps individuals recognize and release the mental and emotional blocks that prevent them from achieving their fullest potential.John has built 5 multimillion-dollar companies including taking one public on NASDAQ and growing Re/Max of Indiana to 1200 sales associates and $4.5 billion a year in sales. He has written 2 New York Times Bestselling books that have been translated to 35 languages and has been featured in 10 movies, including the blockbuster hit “The Secret” and "Quest For Success" with Richard Branson and the Dalai Lama.Today, he is the founder and CEO of NeuroGym, a company dedicated to using the most advanced technologies and evidence-based brain training methods to help individuals strengthen their mindset and emotional skills, so they achieve their goals faster

Ep 170IE170 Shelly Lefkoe: Break Free & Thrive: How to Remove Limiting Beliefs Forever with the Proven Lefkoe Method
In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Shelly Lefkoe, speaker, workshop leader, and author of Parenting the Lefkoe Way.“Belief is a statement about reality which you think is the truth.”All behaviour is belief driven. Beliefs stop serving you when they begin to impact your behaviour and limit what you believe you can achieve or have in your life. No matter how many self-help books you read or courses you do, you won’t change your behaviour until you change your belief. Most of our beliefs are held unconsciously. They may be holding you back from reaching your goals and feeling truly content and you may not even be conscious that you have them. Shelly and Amrit dive deep into the elegant, effective and revolutionary process to eliminate beliefs that are limiting your progress towards your dreams and living the life you deserve. This process is about consciously working through your deeply-held belief and actively challenging it. You can change your belief and behaviour pattern in order to build the life of your dreams.Limiting beliefs are created in childhood and then stay with you. We all set our hearts on affection, attention, and acknowledgment; when they are not fulfilled, we begin to give meaning to specific events and create beliefs over time. Happiness or suffering is determined by the meaning we give events. Not only limiting beliefs are created in childhood. Most behaviour is driven by our deeply ingrained and typically unconscious beliefs created in our early years. Listen to Shelly and Amrit discuss hoy we can reframe the negative meaning we have given to a particular situation to break through limiting beliefs. They also talk about the importance of having a good self esteem in a society being geared to make you feel you are not good enough. There is a lot of messaging that you get that wants you to believe that you have to be a certain way to fit in. But if you get rid of the beliefs that say that is true, the message will not buy in.Furthermore, they talk about parenting and how by being conscious in the way you raise your children you can create more confident, kind and empathetic kids. You can empower them with positive beliefs about themselves and life, and help them create a happy life they deserve. In this episode you will learn how to recognize your limiting beliefs and identify the root of your beliefs to see the pattern and start reframing what you know is true.“The biggest gift from my work is to get the freedom to be authentic.”If you would like to eliminate a limiting belief for free, please go to: https://www.recreateyourlife.com/store/eliminate-belief-free.php If you would like to work on nineteen esteem beliefs, please go to: https://recreateyourlife.com/store/natural-confidence.php#order Level up your life with unlimited access to every Mindvalley Quest Program (over 30+ programs). Ep 169IE169 Kerwin Rae: How to Be Unstoppable: Master 'Elite' Strategies for Success in Life, Business & Beyond!
In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Kerwin Rae, Australia’s leading business strategist, businessman, coach, mentor, author, investor, and international speaker. He is the host of “The Unstoppable” podcast. This episode is all about helping others. Amrit and Kerwin have a deep conversation about how Kerwin helps people to succeed in their business and their personal development, and unlock the best within to facilitate the best life ever. They dive into Kerwin’s unstoppable journey into becoming a consultant.Kerwin was drawn to business from a very early age. From selling horse manure at the age of twelve door to door to working in the security business. In between, Kerwin has had almost fifty jobs working hard every day non-stop. And since he started his first business at the age of twenty three, he has successfully overcome both business and personal adversity. Kerwin realized he had far more potential than he ever thought and stepped into the entrepreneurial world. He partnered with his mentor and started making business with him. Ever since, packed up with a load of experience and with the most effective mindset and skills in business development, marketing, sales, human behaviour, and entrepreneurial psychology, he has been doing what he most loves to do, helping business owners succeed and helping people succeed. Furthermore, they talk about the importance in serving yourself because there is a correlation between personal growth and business growth. If you work on yourself and grow, then your business grows too. It is not only about working on strengths, and weaknesses, but about noticing, realizing and working on those things you carry within that keep you from reaching success. They also talk about the best experience in his life, Noah, his son. They dive into Kerwin’s obsession with human performance and the importance of modelling wisdom and love, not wounds, when parenting. Through his own experience, Kerwin believes you have to become the best version of yourself to be able to help others and parent your child. He is profoundly convinced that everything he does, everything he says and every single environment he places Noah in, is going to affect in some way his progress. They also converse about different concepts he shares with all his clients and tools to succeed in life such as:The importance of values. Values are connected to who you are and there is always an opportunity to pair them to different meanings. A value never changes, but its definition or its understanding of expression can, and will, as you grow. The importance of performance and being aligned with something that is important to you. The more you are aligned with what is important, the more you will achieve levels of flow. Flow being an incredibly important ingredient in any form of hustle and challenge. The importance of competing with yourself. Compete with yourself. Do what you like and get better at it, always regulating your stress and emotions. The power of learning through others' experience. As Kerwin would say “The more I ask for help, the easier life becomes” And the ability to process information and the importance of duality. True success is not meant to be limited to one area of life while leaving other areas failing or suffering. When you find that balance for yourself and live wealthwise you can accomplish so many more things. His passion is to inspire people into tapping into their greatness.Robert learned many lessons along the way, lessons that changed his life. He shares now those powerful steps that open individuals up to the possibilities that lie within them, and guides them in identifying their purpose and living it with passion. They talk about the importance of turning your success into a beautiful perpetual cycle and looking at the long picture starting by taking one step at a time towards your goal. Robert refers to six steps towards success: dreaming big, finding a mentor, taking action, celebrating success and believing in yourself, and number six about repeating the first five. Ep 167IE167 Jake Heilbrunn: Mental Health Transformed: How to Replace Anxiety With Purpose
In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Jake Heilbrunn, an international TEDx speaker, best-selling author, host of Curious with Jake Heilbrunn Podcast and Head of Partnerships at Conscious Counsel.Purpose consists of the central motivating aims of your life. It is the reason why you get up in the morning. Purpose can guide your life decisions, influence behavior, shape goals, offer a sense of direction, and create meaning. Purpose can heal. Purpose can heal anxiety and so much more.Jake and Amrit talk about Jake’s anxiety healing journey, his path towards self-discovery and purpose, and his greatest lessons learned along the way.At the age of seventeen, Jake started university and began to break out with hives, rashes all over his body and soon after with anxiety. He was on a path of pressure, a path based on expectations of others, a path where he certainly was not happy and was causing more pain than good.Jake wanted to change. He wanted to pursue his dreams. He felt the urge to experience another way of life, a journey of self-discovery. At the age of 18, he took courage and made the hard decision to leave college. He bought a one way ticket to Guatemala where he spent months backpacking through Central America all alone, without a phone and three words of spanish. He wanted to know who he was, what he was capable of and needed to pave his own trail. He listened to his inner voice following his intuition, trusting his instincts that things were going to work out.Jake’s body was telling him something, something in him wasn’t aligned. Taking this new path, not only helped him recover from the rash, but also helped him figure out who he was, unrevealing all the opportunities that have led his life to where he is today. He also discovered the importance of having courage and following it and how important it is to trust yourself. Furthermore, Amrit and Jake dive deep into a raw conversation about Jake getting this lesson twice but in a different way.A couple of years later, Jake’s life was knocked over. He was hit by Lyme disease. For almost ten months in severe pain and suffering, he had to be in bed. This impacted his entrepreneurial life, having to bow out from the company he co-created from 0 to $2.5M in revenue in just 2 years, his personal and his love life as well. Jake felt completely shut down and all alone.Listening to people who have been through the same chronic disease, surfing the ocean, and being in flow with the waves and every single moment, have helped Jake on his healing journey. This extremely challenging disease helped him discover his hypesensitive energy and learn how to be hyper aligned with saying no and letting go. Jake affirms that the journey towards recovery was about learning to listen. He strongly believes his journey here on earth is intuition and that the universe talks to us in many different ways. It appears with a whisper but if you don't pay attention every time it will appear with more and more force. In this chapter of Inspired Evolution you will learn how to heal anxiety and depression through purpose, learn how to take courage to do things you believe are right by following your intuition, discover the beauty of peace by letting things go and discover that in darkness there is always hope.“I say to myself: How can I be the most aligned with the thing that sets my soul on fire? Because that is the medicine for the world!”“When you pursue something that you choose, even if it is scary, it makes problems less haunting”About Jake Heilbrunn:At the age of nineteen, Jake Heilbrunn published 'Off the Beaten Trail', a memoir that has been described as the young dude version of 'Eat Pray Love' fused with a modern-day 'Into the Wild'....but with a happy ending ;) The book became #1 on Amazon in 2 categories, has over 50 5-star reviews, and has gained the attention of multiple NYT best-selling authors, including Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup of the Soul founder, 500+ Million copies sold), The San Diego Union-Tribune, Psychology Today, and various other media outlets. He is a passionate TEDx speaker, who has spoken to 15,000+ people across 6 countries, to audiences ranging from High School assemblies, Universities like USC, corporations like REMAX and organizations like NAMI. When Jake speaks, his intention is to inspire people to replace anxiety with passion, find what makes them tick, feel at peace with their mental health journey and live purposefully. In 2017, Jake co-founded and built The Idea Collective with his business partner, Taylor Conroy. From scratch, they grew the company from 0 to $2.5M in revenue in 2 years and helped over 200 purpose-driven leaders share their messages with the world, landing talks at TED, TEDx, Fortune 500 companies, Universities and features in Goalcast, Forbes, ABC & Entrepreneur. They helped speakers clarify their message, land their stage, deliver their message and spread it online to elevate their mission and purposeOvernight,

Ep 166IE166 Michael Bayliss: Beyond Sustainability: The Trouble with Infinite Games, Finite Rules (Post-Growth Podcast)
In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Michael Bayliss, a vocal advocate within the environmental and post-growth movements. What is post-growth?The world economy focuses on infinite growth: growth in national production, growth in profits, growth in consumption, growth in financial markets, growth in population. Several political ideologies such as capitalism, socialism and communism, have come to accept that economic growth is the way. All growth inclinations have led to huge changes in terms of the relationship between humans and the earth, and the relationships we have with each other. They sustain that these changes are good, but these changes harm the earth’s ability to sustain us.Post Growth is an emerging perspective. It is about building on the existing aspects of our world that are sustainable in order to create resilient futures. This includes strengthening ecologically and socially sustainable practices, while recognizing the finite resources of planet earth.Michael is a critical thinker who trusts in campaigning for alternatives to infinite growth. His work is focussed on advocacy regarding choice for small families and for working cooperatively with our global neighbours to create equitable societies that do not rely on perpetual growth.Clearly there are lots of things to be concerned about and some things need to change. In this chapter, Amrit and Michael interchange perspectives and some differing viewpoints as they turn stones over and have the right conversations to keep going towards the future that we see and want to call in. Michael strongly believes that if you don't have an intimate relationship with people you can't make decisions on their behalf properly and that a diversified well being economy is not about how many things we have, but how much we are valued and validated by the people around us.Additionally, there is an interesting conversation about spirituality and activism.Way back, Michael used to be very argumentative. Doing the inner work on spirituality helped not only his ego get over with being wrong but has also made him more humble. They also have insights about focusing on what one wants to see more of in the world, playing the hero to the victim and how important it is to find a balance in between spirituality and activism. Staying out of language and always coming from a place of compassion and engagement is the only way.In this episode you will have access to different alternatives to infinite growth. You will learn how to make a proper use of resources, start making an impact and how to engage with somebody else who has another set of values.“The intersection between spirituality and activism can result in compassionate advocacy and engagement for a better word”“It is really nice once your ego can get over with being wrong”If you would like to learn more about Holistic Activism, to bring together activism and mindful practices, please go to: https://holisticactivism.net/ If you would like to learn more about post growth please go to Post-Growth Australia Podcast: https://pgap.fireside.fm/ If you would like to listen to Michael Bayliss’ contemplative, existential, art rock music with a a collective stream of consciousness, please go to: https://shockoctopus.bandcamp.com/About Michael Bayliss:Michael Bayliss has been an activist for the past decade within the environmental and post-growth movements. He is the host of the Post-Growth Australia Podcast, which he has launched since July to interview experts and game changers on alternatives to the growth based capitalist societies in which we currently live and is the co-founder of Holistic Activism, a movement which is seeking to bring together activism and mindful practices.Michael is the Communications Manager and former Victoria/Tasmanian President at Sustainable Population Australia (SPA). The focus of his work involves advocacy regarding choice for small families and for working cooperatively with our global neighbours to create equitable societies that do not rely on perpetual growth.Previously, he has coordinated various grassroots community groups in Melbourne such as Doing It Ourselves and Gnomes Urban Gardening Network. He is a participant in the international Post Growth Alliance, run by the Post Growth Institute. He co-founded Population Permaculture and Planning (PPP) in 2015 as a means to communicate the critical role that town planning plays in the move towards future sustainable communities. PPP has since delivered workshops to activists and environmentalists across Australia. This year he will be helping to launch the Town Planning Rebellion movement.Michael takes his policies into his home life, where he lives in an intentional shared-living community based on the Retrosuburbia principles, where he looks after a lush permaculture garden. He writes songs around environmental and climate change grief with his band Shock Octopus.Tune In: Welcome Michael Bayliss to the Ins

Sarah is convinced that you can guide your emotions, your intuition, and your energy to create your own reality, and explains the manifesting process through her own life experience. After getting married to her second husband, Sarah went through five consecutive miscarriages in a row. Completely broken and feeling she had been tested by the universe, she still wanted to manifest a baby. Then came the day when she showed up in an emergency room with all the signs of a miscarriage. She addressed to her soul baby’s essence that she would be fine whether she showed up or whether she didn't. Sarah got comfortable with that uncertainty and that feeling was the miraculous leverage point for the universe to connect with her and say everything would be alright. Sarah surrendered and, there was the heartbeat. Being comfortable with that uncertainty and open to all possibilities gave Sarah her best reward. Today, Sarah is mother to two beautiful kids.Sarah and Amrit have a fun conversation about the art of manifesting. They dive deep into Sarah’s three elemental steps of manifestation: getting clarity and having a vision of what you want, making it really important to feel and how you want to feel, and detaching and letting go of the outcome. They also cave into effective tools to navigate and reach each step of manifestation. They talk about how important it is to label yourself with what you are good at and the need of clarity in communication and language when finding your vision, how important it is to have an optimistic, joyful and grateful attitude towards worry and adversity because if you do better things can happen, about the importance of moments of surrender, and reaching the awareness that being open to all possibilities is the key to your manifestation. Furthermore, they speak about the cultivation of a mindset to choose everyday in your life and why it is so important to choose humour.Every single moment in life is a choice point. You can choose how you react, direct your energy and take ownership of your emotions. By choosing and taking self responsibility you can manifest your own reality. Sarah strongly believes that by choosing joy, your life will turn up with more opportunities. In this chapter you will learn how to arise from worry and live with more intention, intuition and authenticity. You will discover how to have the power to consciously manifest all what you want through your connection to the universe and by empowering your emotions. “Joy is the currency of consciousness”“Get out of your head and into your heart and the moment”Level up your life with unlimited access to every Mindvalley Quest Program (over 30+ programs). In this week’s episode, Amrit is very happy to interview Lawrence Norton who is sitting in a classroom of an aboriginal community way up in The Kimberleys, plateau region of northern Western Australia. This foundation aims to alleviate the financial burden on families with sick children.Amrit and Lorie dive deep into Lorie’s most fulfilling and adventurous 17.000 km journey across Australia in selfless service to others. All the way from Melbourne to Sydney, up to Cairns, down and right across the middle of the country, coming back through Perth and all the way up to The Kimberleys at 45kms/h in Corazón, his 1949 Leyland Sydney double decker bus! They talk about how and why Lorie started his business, what was his life like five years ago, why he chose Eli’s Gift for charity and the most amazing stories and people he came across on his way. While working as a linesman, Lorie decided he wanted to focus on just one thing, one thing from the heart, and so he did. He refurbished a bus and set off on a journey for a charity cause. It took him 18 months of hard work to get the bus ready and bright, and a lot of courage to leave a 9 to 5 job, sell all his possessions and all alone set off on a long trip. All he took were his musical instruments, spirituality, a couple of Twice as Nice shirts, and a skill which he discovered on the way, which was painting with coffee and selling the art to sustain the bus with food and fuel. As from painting with waste coffee and with a 14 year project experience, Lorie thought it would be appropriate to branch out into the world of coffee table books. Today he has his own book, “Clare and the Koa Tree”, a book written in a beautiful town called Clare in the South of Australia and developed as a story book for his two loving nieces Ella and Edi. This bus with a tremendous vibe is called Corazón, and the only possessions Lorie has taken with him are his harmonic and handpan. Lorie overtone sings while he drives Corazón all around Australia at 45 km/h, stopping at various caravan parks and other pit stops serving coffee for 5$ to residents so he can raise funds for The Eli's Gift Foundation, a foundation that raises money for families of seriously-ill children. Lawrence raises money simply by serving coffee, selling art (including his own unique coffee art) out of his bus and has a number of companies providing sponsorship to help him on his journey. He received help from a friend to kick-start his business of coffee. She taught him one on one how to be a barista and encouraged him to complete a barista course. Ever since, Lorie has been on the road in service to others, and is ready for his next project.Tune In: Welcome Lawrence Norton to the Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)Where did Twice as Nice Gallery Café start?: (00:03:17)What happens if you have ten projects going on, and you dedicate only a 10% to each one of them?
