Ep 213IE213 Rich Litvin: Unleashing Exponential Success: Elite Transformations & Prosperous Coach Secrets Unveiled (Secrets of the 4 Percent - 4PC)

In this episode, Rich and Amrit talk about coaching, the direction of coaching in terms of the industry and how to become coachable. They dive deep into insight coaching and how just one powerful question can expand new possibilities in your life and business and change everything, and how important it is to have a mission that is so powerful that nothing can stop you.Rich loves coaching live and Amrit has personally benefited from Rich’s wisdom and guidance. There are many insights that have served him that will serve you too. Rich is a thought leader in the coaching world, leads a community of almost 20,000 coaches and consultants, and he has helped train some of the most exclusive coaches on the planet. He is the founder of 4PC, a community of the top 4% of coaches and leaders and a best selling author.Slowing down and being present allow you to be more creative, think deeply and connect intimately. Being present in conversations and listening to what other people have to say, allows Rich to see the world that they live in. Then he can ask questions that will crack open the world they live in for an insight shift and a new possibility. This new possibility is a choice they may use or not. If so, it will have a ripple effect in every single aspect of their life and business. The enemy of a new possibility is the status quo. It doesn't want you to change and holds you back from your zone of genius. You have to find ways for yourself to show up with your gift, dream big and have a mission that nothing can stop you. Leaders must become lazier and lazier, that means do one thing today that makes the biggest difference. Status quo also affects leaders. It keeps them from being their authentic selves; they want to be visible but don't want to be seen. Leadership is not about that, it is about being human and then being real about it. If people feel you they will trust you. Coaching mastery is a longlife journey. Rich believes conventional success keeps your bills paid, but exponential success is where you are willing to put at risk your current success for future success. This means doing things you have never done before and working on yourself constantly.Level up your life with unlimited access to every Mindvalley Quest Program (over 30+ programs). All Yours. Ep 212IE212 Peter Sage: Reinvent Yourself: Master Your Potential, Eliminate Self-Doubt & Entrepreneurial Success Secrets Revealed (The Inside Track)

In this episode, Peter and Amrit talk about Peter’s recent book The Inside Track. Get a free copy here: getpetesbook.com/inspiredThey dive deep into the four levels of consciousness towards spiritual growth and detailed steps on how to face and learn from life challenges so you can move forward and live a fulfilling, happy and successful life. Peter is an entrepreneur, philosopher, coach, self-mastery expert, speaker, accomplished athlete and best-selling author. He is the founder of The Sage Academy & Sage Business School. For more than 25 years he has been inspiring people worldwide to reinvent themselves. Peter spent six months in one of the UK's most violent prisons. Instead of going in with an identity of a prisoner he went in with a secret identity of change and the willingness to serve. He helped many prisoners and wrote inspiring letters to his friends, family, and the public. His latest book ‘The Inside Track’ covers Peter’s journey in prison, a masterclass in how to turn adversity to your advantage. We are born with natural fears, all the rest is learned behaviour which comes from caregivers and society. We are imposed conditional love and spend the rest of our lives projecting that into our own lives. This level of emotional maturity then creates the learned fears, the fear that we are not enough. This has a domino effect on the entire protection mechanism of behaviours that limit our own potential and prevent us from moving forward. You can transcend those fears coming to terms with not being liked; shift from an external validation to internal validation getting out of G.O.O.P. (good opinion of other people)Unleashing your potential depends on your emotional maturity. Growing up emotionally is a choice and every person has their own journey and pace. We must be compassionate about holding space for other people’s pace. The emotional growth journey has four levels of consciousness and is a process that must be done in order: “To me” is a victim mentality, where you blame everyone but yourself for the stage you are in. “By me” is the “doing” mentality where you get out of blame and take responsibility for personal actions; although it is better than the first level, it keeps you constantly swimming upstream is an exhausting and neurotic way. “Through me” when you learn to relinquish the need for control and learn to handle uncertainty. “As me” is the fourth level which is oneness with the universe; this is the utopia of personal growth and few people reach this level.Believing you live in a friendly or hostile world leads to two very different experiences of life. Those who think they live in a hostile universe, are at the “By me” level because they are trying to control everything. Tune In: Welcome Peter Sage to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)What holds people back from living the life that is calling them: (01:44)About navigating fears: (06:48)How to transcend fears and get out of our own way:  (08:58)Levels of consciousness: (22:58)Serving others to grow and us being part of their journey: (30:37)Learning to trust going from “by me” to “through me”: (45:11)Inspired Evolution according to Peter: (52:37)For the links go to: inspiredevolution.com/eliminate-self-doubtSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 211IE211 Jason Moore: Nomad Unleashed: Secrets to Living & Working Anywhere (Zero to Travel)

In this episode, Jason and Amrit talk about how committing to what you really want can change your life in so many positive ways. They dive deep into podcasting and travelling, how travelling helps you become more resourceful which can be applied to entrepreneurship, how being a digital nomad can help you live a sustainable travel life and why it is so important to have other people’s perspectives. Jason chose a travel lifestyle straight out of college. Despite having $20k in student debt, he followed his heart and went backpacking through Europe. This experience made him determined to make travel part of his life in a more permanent way.His travel lifestyle has changed over the last 20 years. He crossed the USA by car, worked as a tour manager for a famous indie rock band, and spent a decade working as a digital nomad with various businesses. After his own experience travelling the world for a decade, he founded a location independent community and a podcast, through which he has mentored hundreds of entrepreneurs, helping them build a side hustle and break free of their 9 to 5 job so they can do more of what they love in life. Podcasting has changed his life. He believes it helps listeners and you as well. It helps you walk in someone else’s shoes which gives you a new perspective to learn from. Jason Moore is the founder of the Zero To Travel Podcast, where he helps people travel the world no matter what their situation or experience is. He's also the co-founder of the Location Indie community, Camp Indie and the Lifestyle Launch Academy.Travelling is about being respectful and adjusting your behaviour to the different communities and cultures. It is a time for reflection. You can learn from new perspectives and realise that the way you have been raised is just one perspective amongst so many more. This is an opportunity to start questioning your beliefs and have thoughts of your own.Putting self development expectations on any trip can only lead to disappointment. There is a chance you don't find what you are looking for. Jason encourages people to just dive in and live the experience as it comes. With solo travelling you get to have very interesting interactions. Ep 210IE210 Robin Sharma: Unlocking Genius: Mastering Self, Leadership & Living Your Legacy (The 5AM Club & The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari)

In this episode, Robin and Amrit dive deep into Robin’s latest book The Everyday Hero Manifesto. All the strategies you need to activate your positivity, have elite performance and spiritual freedom.GET IT HERE: https://inspiredevolution.com/recommends/the-everyday-hero-manifesto/ With every copy, a portion of royalties goes to help children with leprosy. You can uplevel your life in many practical and effective ways by journaling, making lists, scheduling your week and year, and organizing yourself in advance to make things easy and automated in your day-to-day life. At the core of this conversation lies the sagacity to create your magic; how to live your magic that is true to you in a troubled yet beautiful world that is changing fast.“The more intimate you become with your magic the more magic you can shine”Whatever Robin builds, he does it in the spirit of service and in the spirit of honoring his craft. Whatever he shares with the world he does it for more joy, peace and freedom. This is more valuable than fame, fortune and applause.Instinct is where your magic lies and is more powerful than intellect. Following your intuition might be hard because we live in a world that trusts mathematics more than philosophy and magic, but it opens you up to a whole new universe. You can move into intuition by journaling, praying, meditating and walking in nature. As for entrepreneurs, ask yourselves what magic and value can you deliver that no one else has the bravery to deliver to the marketplace. Bring on your magic to your stakeholders and consumers so that you breed originality into the market place and serve deeper. Everyone is born into genius, love, bravery, creativity and heroism but soon we become brainwashed by caregivers, school and society in general and forget who we truly are. You can reclaim your genius by moving through those layers of brainwashing and healing what lies over your truth. Once you heal, immediately there is more vitality, creativity, bravery, connection with your intuition and sense of self. There is nothing more noble than creating your life consciously. Robin thinks you can be a massive success financially and not lose your spirituality, in fact you can grow it. If you fall in love with service versus egoism, whatever you sell to the marketplace will be a testimony to the love that you have for the people that are putting food on your table. Tune In: Welcome Robin Sharma to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)About Robin’s book The Everyday Hero Manifesto: (03:07)About Legacy: (05:49)Growing something epic and then dismantling your identity: (08:45)Dropping ego and stepping into freedom feels intuitive to the mind: (11:45)Intuition vs the mind: (14:50)Vitality that the creativity force brings into your life: (18:37)About consciously creating your life:(23:24)Clarity to uplevel your identity: (30:59)Healthy to be more creative: (35:53)Committing upfront to the strategy: (39:44)About “Action delayed it is greatness betrayed”:(43:13)How to accept the seasons of your life: (49:02)Inspired Evolution according to Robin: (58:36)For all the links, go to: inspiredevolution.com/self-masterySupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 209IE209 Daniel Pinchbeck: Redefining Reality: Indigenous Wisdom, Psychedelics & Our Ecological Future

In this episode Daniel and Amrit talk about capitalism as a transitory structure which is not innate to the human principles of coexistence. They dive deep into how we need to move to a new stage of consciousness, one that is based on cooperation and not competition, to help us make the necessary shift to overcome the global challenges we are facing right now.In traditional cultures, the purpose of rites of passage is to drive young members of the tribes to overcome their ego identity. They undergo a vision process which are then honored and welcomed back in the community. Once they have been through this passage, they have the capacity to take responsibility for the community as a whole, overcoming self-interest when necessary. In a parallel way, we have subconsciously self-willed the ecological damage in order to force ourselves to break free from limiting egoism. Going through a universal crisis, humanity can overcome individualism, becoming self conscious of a regenerative biosphere, constructing a new social design based on shared responsibility. At the heart of most rites of passages are psychedelic experiences. Many cultures believed using psychedelic plants properly helped them connect to their truth, others didn’t have access to psychedelic plants because they reached other dimensions naturally. People who used these plants or naturally reached other dimensions of consciousness were repressed with christianity and the inquisition. Nowadays there is a huge interest in psychedelics. Back in the 60’s, these substances were considered by the top psychiatrists amazing things that allowed a new access to understanding dimensions of the human psyche. The US government and others used to connect them with the green movement, considering them a threat to society. They were repressed for over 35 years. Daniel's book Breaking Open the Head in 2002, helped begin to shift the mainstream consciousness around this. The generation of teenagers that began with those substances in the 60’s have matured. Daniel believes it is time for our society to be able to reintegrate these things, what their value is and what they can do. We need to change globally and it is only when we see ourselves as one planetary community that this can happen. Humanity has self-willed the ecological crisis in order to create required conditions for transcendence of our quality present experience, going through initiation on a planetary scale. This collective tribulation is necessary for us to evolve from our current level of consciousness to the next. By doing this we are aware of us as one unified being, a planetary organism in mutual beneficial relationship with nature and current systems. Everything from energy and agriculture, to culture, politics, media and ideology. Pinchbeck calls for responsibility to transform capitalist structures into cooperative ones, based on Eastern metaphysics, social ecology, and radical political thought.Level up your life with unlimited access to every Mindvalley Quest Program (over 30+ programs). Ep 208IE208 Tom Chi: Innovating Connection: Prototyping Futures & Healing Our Planet (Google Glass)

In this episode, Tom and Amrit talk about the importance of humanity becoming a net positive to nature for a better future, diving deep into a wide range of concepts about humanity, the economy, the environment, and the future. Tom Chi, M.S. & B.S. in Electrical Engineering, is an inventor, leader, coach, speaker, investor and technologist. He is the founding partner at At One Ventures, a company dedicated to find, fund, and grow teams to catalyze a world where humanity is a net positive to nature. He coaches corporate executives and top investors, strengthens social entrepreneurship and gives talks and workshops to unlock mindsets.Today’s industries are net negative for humanity, and Tom advocates for transformational shifts. Humanity needs to become net positive to nature. This means regenerate and restore damage taking action not as scientists but as engineers.Physics teaches you how to understand the physical world, and the type of understanding that allows you to be structured to create something new is useful for lots of things, including asking big questions about why we make what we make.Designing something has an intention to it. Tom calls design a frozen intention; when you interact with it you unfreeze the intention of the designer. Technology happens because of decisions we make. If it grows faster than we can get used to, it is because we have decided it should. The key is to make those decisions with good intentions. We have spent most of the 20th century figuring out how to strip mine the physical resources of the planet and we are spending the 21st century strip mining the cognitive resources of the planet. Social media is one of the cases; attention is stripped from you and your attention is a finite resource just like minerals in the ground. Many people say economics is a science but it isn't, it is a designed discipline. People that have been in charge of designing it have done a terrible job because they treat it as a science. In science there is foundational truth, in a designed discipline there isn't. We have made foundational errors too, allowing those people to talk about their discipline as a science. Capitalism is a tool just like a hammer and no tool must be worshiped. There is a big responsibility in how we use a tool well. In consequence, Tom looks for disruptive technologies that have both radically better unit economics and environmental economics so that he can work toward a world where humanity is in a positive nature. We can remodel the industrial economy but we can also destroy nature with capitalism; it all depends on how you use this tool.  Chi believes we do it because we systematically have chosen to be “dumb”, that means we got sold the narratives of a social categorisation in which we decide which social group people belong to: 'us' or 'them' . We can choose to think differently. If the vast majority of life on the planet is cooperative, we must be too. We are all interconnected with each other and the universe at large.Level up your life with unlimited access to every Mindvalley Quest Program (over 30+ programs). All Yours. Ep 207IE207 Brendon Watt: Break Conformity: One Choice From Change with Access Consciousness Tools for Empowerment and Choice

In this episode Brendon and Amrit dive deep into the power of choice. Everything in your life is an accumulation of the choices that you have made. You can choose differently and create your own future. Anything is possible.Brendon Watt is a speaker, entrepreneur, business and life mentor, and author of the best-selling book, Relationship: Are You Sure You Want One?. He is the founder of the Relationship Done Different workshop series, a lead facilitator with Access Consciousness® facilitating classes and workshops all over the world, encouraging others to step out of judgement and into a more authentic, fulfilling life, and is the host of his own podcast, One Choice from Change.Brendon suffered maltreatment as a child as well as physical and sexual abuse. One day in deep depression he asked the universe for assistance, whatever it may be, for he wanted to give up. The next day, Brendon came across a small advertisement in the newspaper that read, “All of life comes to me with ease, joy and glory, call Mel.” That’s when he first came across Access Consciousness.Brendon had no idea what consciousness was all about until he heard their definition. “Consciousness is where everything and everyone is included and nothing and no one is judged”. Watt lived his life under others expectations, always wanting to please others. From a young age he would do whatever he could just to make his parents happy. He was his worst enemy judging himself all the time.Often people try to find their value according to other people’s perspective. Brendon learned that you can step out of judgement, start to build a relationship for yourself and be who you are. It is a choice, and there are choices you can make to create your life. You can start choosing right now to see what it is that is true to you; when you make a choice that lights you up, you will know that what you have chosen is true to you. Your life is the creation from every choice that you have made. You can make different choices today to create a new life with countless possibilities. No one can make this choice but you. Many people live in a victim space. They accept what they have and don't make different choices to create something better because it feels too discouraging. Usually because of three main excuses: money, health and time. Creating a change can be daunting but is exciting too. Each choice you make creates something into your future and makes you feel more present and have more opportunities. This process helps you live your life based on energy instead of judgement. Judgement does not create change and is not creative.Tune In: Welcome Brendon Watt to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)How important is our relationship with consciousness: (03:07)Brendon’s journey to come across access consciousness: (06:07)The profundity of the depth of the experience with access bars: (10:30)Why we often change for others:(12:56)The choice of possibilities: (19:35)The duality in making choices: (23:26)The difference between judgement and discernment when choosing: (27:55)The close lining between gratitude and traumas: (33:42)On the journey to choose in terms of money: (36:55)Whether we choose our health or not: (39:41)Building up a visceral personal experience to lighten your worldview: (43:10)Inspìred Evolution according to Brendon: (48:13)For all the links go to: inspiredevolution.com/make-the-right-coicesSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 206IE206 Adam Roa: Unlock Creativity: Light Creative Fire & Amplify Purpose (C.R.E.A.T.E Secrets Unveiled)

In this episode Adam and Amrit dive deep into creativity. They converse about people as creations interfacing with other creations and during these interactions, how relationships take place, serve you, challenge you to grow and what that growth is all about. Furthermore, they cave into how you can show up in a relationship in the best way possible, how to show up as a creative force of life, and how important it is for your well-being to keep creating.Community is a game changer. They tuck into the importance of feeling safe to share your lowest wounds and let yourself be seen, heard and loved. GET YOUR TICKETS FOR THE CREATE LOVE FESTIVAL 2022 HERE!Adam Roa is an artist, musician, poet, filmmaker, speaker, coach and podcaster. He is the founder of The CREATE Community, an online personal development community for creative leaders.Creativity is the path of your most fulfilling effective evolution. It is a process by which you put together new patterns assigning values to them. It expands your consciousness. Doubt and fear appear everytime you want to create something. This is an opportunity to work through these feelings. Once done, you will have created something new. This process is hard but is rewarding. When you overcome resistance with your intention, you develop resilience. When you work through trauma, you can choose two paths: either you chose to stay stuck in it or chose the payoff of self love. The more creatively you express yourself, the more self love there is that you can make use of. Your expression is unique and is the purest frequency of your soul. We are part of creation and creative energy gave us birth. This life force energy is the purest force of life. It is channeled into creativity and sexuality. We are all here to create and procreate. As we consciously create, others consciously create too. We all walk around this world searching for new experiences, new lessons and intending to grow. And the only way to do this is with love. Creativity is love. You can fall in love with people, places, food, etc. The deeper you feel that love is because there is more growth available in the other person, place or whatever. Love expands you every time it enters into a new space. When you feel love, you soften. This creates more space within and when there is more space, more love can come in. Quite the opposite of feeling fear. Protection mode contracts you, preventing you from expanding.Level up your life with unlimited access to every Mindvalley Quest Program (over 30+ programs). Ep 205IE205 Rebecca Boatman: Love Unleashed: Mastering Emotional Intelligence for Fulfilling Relationships

In this episode Rebecca and Amrit talk about what a relationship is all about and how to keep the spark alive. They dive deep in how you can show up with an open heart, despite the fears to create a healthy relationship you love.Rebecca Boatman is a relationship expert, go-to-love coach and graduate of several emotional intelligence academies. She is the founder of The Brave Movement. Starting a relationship can be challenging. People have a prototype of a thriving relationship based on what they see as they grow up and limiting beliefs. So when they get into a relationship, quite often they step into it with an inharmonious and unhealthy blueprint. To attract someone, you have to do it from an empowered place, that is being aware of limiting beliefs and having a vision of what you want. This can help you step out of the protector/provider cycle.Choosing powerfully can be done throughout the entire dating process, as long as you take responsibility and celebrate the victories. By doing this, you are consciously co-creating a relationship. And co-creating depends on who you are being. Vulnerability is crucial to build connections. It can be scary but the more you access it, the easier it gets. When you feel overwhelmed it is because there is something you don't want to face. This is an indicator that you should look into this. If you do so, time expands. You need to take care of the relationship with yourself before you step into a relationship. That relationship is going to be the reflection of the type of relationships you allow into your experience. When people meet someone for the first time, they often meet their mask and not who they truly are. This comes from the need to fit in. In order to connect, you have to get rid of the mask and embrace all your qualities as well as your flaws. People in a relationship often see things in their partners that they don't see in themselves. These are opportunities to converse trustfully and let in what the other has to say. Not only does the relationship grow but each individual does too. Giving each other the space to be whole individuals is important. When both partners do this and respect it in one another they will avoid a codependent relationship.Tune In: Welcome Rebecca Boatman to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)Hurdles looking for relationships: (00:46)Things that don’t support you wanting to be with someone: (01:38)Women in the power of choosing?: (03:41)Challenging trauma on trauma: (05:12)Reclaiming the power of choice: (06:34)Co-creation in a relationship: (07:59)Relationships a focus point in Rebecca’s journey: (10:57)Vulnerability to build connection: (13:31)The relationship with ourselves going into a relationship: (15:23)Navigating the “ambassador face” when you first meet someone: (16:20)Seeing things in others that they don't see in themselves: (19:23)Relationships where one partner is open to growth and the other is not:(22:07)About communication, trust and relationships:(27:02)Self love to hold a relationship: (31:20)Getting hung up on the first phase of a relationship: (33:59)Keeping the spark alive: (36:14)Relationships as a mirror of the soul: (38:22)Rebecca’s next events: (41:13)Inspired Evolution according to Rebecca: (42:25)For all the links go to: inspiredevolution.com/build-a-healthy-relationshipSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 203IE203 Shantaram Uncovered: Outlaw Odyssey: Bandit Becomes Literary Bestselling Icon - Escaping Prison, Embracing Mumbai, and Unleashing Genius (The Gregory David Roberts Saga)

In this episode Gregory and Amrit talk about Gregory’s latest book, The Spiritual Path, a non-fiction book about his experience with a spiritual practice over the course of 6 years while he lived secluded, and they dive deep in the step-by-step process Gregory followed in search of a spiritual connection.GET THE BOOK HERE: https://www.amazon.com/Spiritual-Path-Gregory-David-Roberts/dp/0349144672 Gregory David Roberts is an artist, composer and author. He is best known for his captivating best-seller Shantaram.Roberts was a drug addict that turned to crime and ended up in jail. He escaped and went to India but ten years later was found and extradited to Australia where he served a further six years in prison, two of which were spent in solitary confinement. Gregory wrote The Spiritual Path with spiritual matters that his younger self wanted desperately. It is about his arduous path to self and spiritual realization. Succeeding every experience, he would write down notes in his journal. After six years of meticulous devotion those notes were shaped into this book that takes people on his journey of a leap of faith.Spirituality takes a three step process: acknowledgement, surrender and devotion. Acknowledgement means acknowledging the existence of the divine to have free will. Surrender means surrendering the “unrequired” elements within your ego that are not required to go into a devotional state; putting them close to the margins and taking the essential parts which are humility, honesty, sincerity and authenticity. Devotion is finding a way to give something to the divine in a physical way rather than constantly asking for something from it.Gregory believes it is an ongoing process. Once you have got clear with who you are and accept responsibility for what you have done, you must begin to tidy up your relationship with others.Gregory started creating a devotion to himself because of a two year solitary confinement. Those years were a gift to see himself and see where he was going. He looked at his past and realized that pain had been a beast of his own creation. If he wanted to change, he had to acknowledge it and take responsibility. Ep 202IE202 Cameron Herold: Vivid Vision: Skyrocket Your Business with a Crystal-Clear Blueprint for Growth (CEO Whisperer)

Replace vivid statements with vivid visions! In this episode Cameron and Amrit talk about Vivid Vision, the importance of having a vivid vision for your business as well as for your personal life and how to create one overcoming blocks and resistance. Cameron earned his reputation as The CEO Whisperer by guiding his CEO & COO clients to double their profit and revenue in three years or less. He is a top rated international speaker, lecturer, top business consultant, business growth guru and best-selling author of 5 books including his recent one Vivid Vision. GET IT HERE: https://amz.run/56XCHe is the founder of COO Alliance & Second In Command Podcast. Several years ago Cameron and a friend, each with their own business, were introduced to a new concept of how athletes use visualization to see themselves perform in future events. This was a concept that could also be applied to their businesses. After three years of success, Cameron was asked to work as the COO in his friend’s company 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Applying this same concept and in only six years, he engineered it’s growth from $2 million to $106 million in revenue. Not wanting to run companies anymore, Cameron began journaling to identify what filled him the most. He created a life doing what he loves most, helping owners, CEO’s and senior managers create inspirational, detailed, and actionable three-year mission statements to grow their companies. Working on what you love, makes you work harder, have more success, and gets the flywheel effect happening faster.A Vivid Vision is a three page document that describes what a company’s highest-ranking executive envisions for that company in vivid detail. It describes what the future holds for the company but not how it’ll get there.Hiring people who are aligned with your vision is key. If they are excited about what you're building, you can flip that organization chart upside down and put the CEO at the bottom supporting the VP, then the managers, and then employees. Ep 201IE201 Lynne McTaggart: The Power of Intention: 8 Aligned Collective Minds is All it Takes... (The Power of Eight & The Intention Experiment)

Use your intentions to heal and make the world a better place! In this episode Lynne and Amrit dive deep into the power of intention, a life-changing force that inherently we all have access to and can radically transform our life and that of those around us.Lynne McTaggart is an award-winning journalist known for her research on the intersection between science and the worlds of spirituality, health, and culture. She is a central authority on the New Science of consciousness and the power of intention, a public speaker and the award-winning author of seven books, including the bestsellers The Field, The Intention Experiment and The Power of Eight®. She is also cofounder of What Doctors Don’t Tell You, the health expo Get Well, and the architect of the Intention Experiments, a web based “global laboratory” to test the power of intention to heal the world.Intentions are the thoughts we have all the time. They are “power” thoughts and they are very important because they affect and can transform your lives, and can also make powerful changes to the people and things around you. The way you think, positive or negative, can result in greater global impacts beyond your usual sphere of influence; it can create a butterfly effect. Negative thoughts are usually directed to ourselves. This has a lot to do with the culture we have created for ourselves which is essentially an “I Win, You lose” environment. This idea has impregnated every part of our culture and is behind negativity. We must start to focus on what it is that we are thinking all the time. Lynne believes that if you police negative thoughts properly everybody can heal every aspect of their lives. The energy of positive thoughts is an influential force that can transform lives and particularly in empowering groups. People’s focused intentions, actively thought-out within a small group setting, create a positive impact on a targeted cause, even across vast distances. Back in 2008, Lynn and her husband decided to put people into small groups of 8 calling them “The power of eight”. She revealed discoveries from several years of experiments about how group intention can heal our lives and make this world a better place. Based on case studies, brain research, and university studies, The Power of Eight proves there is a collective consciousness. Collective intention is super powerful for two reasons: it helps you get off of yourself and enter a sense of oneness. People who focus on themselves are more likely to get ill. So if you act out of concern for the well-being of other people, you will live a healthier, longer and happier life. “Getting off of yourself” heals the sender and the receiver. Please check out Lynne's Intention Masterclass 2022: https://lynnemctaggart.com/courses/intention-masterclass/the-power-of-eight-intention-masterclass-2022/  Tune In: Welcome Lynne McTaggart to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)Intention defined by Lynne: (05:13)Why thoughts are generally negative: (07:15)Why intention is so important: (09:37)How to set an intention & use it to support each other: (26:36)Selecting intentions: (39:28)Setting intentions for germination study: (42:08)Connect with Lynne: (50:45)Feedback on Amrit’s intentions: (52:08)What inspires Lynne for a better world:(57:14)For all the links go to: inspiredevolution.com/power-of-intentionSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 200IE200 Dr. David R. Hamilton: Kindness Heals: Why Woo-Woo Works for Powerful Mind & Body Transformations

With just one small act of kindness we can make this world a much better place! In this episode David and Amrit dive deep into the importance of being kind to become the best version of ourselves as well as better humans, and all the amazing benefits of kindness.David R. Hamilton, PhD is a kindness scientist, columnist, speaker and author of eleven books, including his latest bestseller, 'The Five Side Effects of Kindness'.After completing his PhD in organic chemistry, he worked in R&D in the pharmaceutical industry, developing drugs for cardiovascular disease and cancer. Inspired by the placebo effect, he left the industry to write books and educate people on how they can harness their mind and emotions to improve their mental and physical health. We all have kindness genes and they are some of the oldest genes in the human genome. We're genetically wired to love and compassion but we are also wired to self preservation. Our nervous system perceives challenges as threats to our survival. So we end up covering our kindness because we feel we need to survive.“You can be presenting clouds and storm fronts but when you pull through them, there is always sunshine”The skill is to recognize the sunshine underneath any kind of challenge. Change requires a conscious effort to recognize the way you behave and how you have to behave instead. Slowing down and becoming aware of yourself is the first step to change. And then having an interaction with your body’s kindness hormones. Kindness opportunities bring out the best version of yourself. In every act of kindness, you must include yourself and recognize that this moment of exchange is vital for the evolution and the present moment of both parts.Kindness has tons of beneficial effects but you can't have them unless you are genuine and mean what you do. It impacts physical and mental health, and not only makes us happier but is also protective for our mental health against challenges that occur in life.Acts of kindness affect our brain chemistry producing more “happiness hormones” which facilitate happier experiences. Acts of kindness cause physical changes in the brain structure known as neural plasticity. This allows us to extract happiness from everyday life easier. The physiological effects of kindness and stress are due to the way you feel. Kindness generates the opposite effects of stress. When kindness hormones go up, stress hormones go down.David Hamilton Books:The Five Side-effects of Kindness: https://amz.run/541y Why Woo-Woo Works: https://amz.run/541z I Heart Me: https://amz.run/546j Tune In: Welcome David Hamilton to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)The science that supports kindness: (01:09)Why is it so difficult to embrace kindness when it is innate to us: (03:45)Self kindness to facilitate kindness with others: (13:45)Kindness makes us happier: (17:00)Kindness is good for the heart: (20:00)Factors that slow down ageing: (24:36)Kindness builds connection; digital world vs face-to-face: (29:15)About kindness contagion: (40:34)What is possible in this world with kindness: (45:28)Cultivating kindness: (48:14)For all the links go to: inspiredevolution.com/cultivate-kindnessSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 199IE199 Danette May: Empowering Transformation & Manifestation: Nutrition, Fitness, Mindfulness & Conscious Business Creation (Manifestival Podcast & Earth Echo Foods)

In this episode, Danette and Amrit dive deep into how you can create and manifest the life that you want from a place of love.Get a copy of Danette’s new book “Embrace Abundance: A Proven Path to Better Health, More Wealth, and Deeply Fulfilling Relationships”: https://inspiredevolution.com/recommends/danette-may/Danette hit rock bottom and used it to step into her purpose. From losing a child at birth, going through divorce, and having $47 in the bank, to having 3 eight figure businesses. She decided to stop being a victim, rewrite her story and began focusing on the three pillars of healing: healing foods, healing movement, and a healing mindset.  Her true calling in life was to share this concept of healing with others and actually she helps millions of people across the globe.Whether you are at the top or bottom of your story, it is going to shift because it is based on your thoughts and decision making. You have the power to decide where you want to be. Curiosity is key to get to the next level. Visualization is the bedrock to success. You have to see what you want and feel as if they happen. This creation of what you want is the same for everyone, you just have to do the steps and believe in them.  Life is a kidding game that should be played. If you play, things will happen along the way. And when you see that things do happen you will want to take the next step. Having a vision that inspires you and magnetizes you, pulls you forward but things change when your visions get too far. You can deal with these challenges by feeling a higher power communicating with you saying “why not?”The more tangible you make your visualizations, the more you feel and quicker you get there. Love frequency is key! It is the natural fuel for manifesting. Having this frequency of unconditional love you become a magnet to the dreams and the visions that are in your mind.Have a really clear “why” behind why you are doing it and then also tune into the identity of who is actually calling that in. Team them together to manifest what you want on an internal celular desire. Tune In: The impetus that shifts Danette out of rock bottom: (04:57)The importance of not reliving our story: (09:30)How to believe in the next story when you are in a place of friction:(11:17)The disconnected gap between reality and what you want to create: (16:36)Dealing with ego and spirit when visualizing things that get too far: (19:20)Discerning what you want: (21:07)About “Why identity”: (27:35)The power of love when calling things in: (31:10)For all the links go to: inspiredevolution.com/dream-life-with-danette-mayJoin the Inspired Evolution Community:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/InspiredEvolution/    Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/inspired_evolution/  YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/InspiredEvolution/  Website: https://inspiredevolution.com/ Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 198IE198 Dawson Church: Harnessing Bliss: Brain Neuroplasticity, Meditation, and the Path to Peak Happiness (Bliss Brain)

Start to live a better life in a matter of MINUTES! In this episode, Amrit and Dr. Dawson Church dive deep into Dawson’s latest book Bliss Brain. They have an amazing conversation about how much control you have over the process of rewiring your brain to achieve deep happiness.Listen as they talk about the birth of his book, the importance of cultivating happiness and how to do it, the minimum dose of meditation needed to see a change in your mind and how to interact with your physiology to better approach the day. They converse about compassion as a key evolutionary tool, what is an enlightenment circuit and the positive emotions that light it up, and the purpose of cultivating meditation in depth.Furthermore, Dawson shares how to thrive in spite of trauma, the importance of having a practitioner and how we get in the way with the natural healing of our body.“I want people to feel addicted to meditation, addicted to feeling good” Dawson Church, PhD, is a research scientist and an award-winning author of three best-selling books, including his latest, Bliss Brain: The Neuroscience of Remodeling Your Brain for Resilience, Creativity, and Joy. Get a copyHe is the director of EFT Universe, an alternative health site on the web, and founded The National Institute of Integrative Healthcare.Church has done a lot of research on PTSD and been involved in many clinical trials. While writing Bliss Brain, he went through devastating situations. He escaped five minutes ahead of a bushfire that left him without a home and business, and claimed several lives. The fire triggered a financial disaster, but luckily he practiced the latest neuroscience techniques from his book while teaching them to thousands of other people. Emotional Freedom Tapping, Eco Meditation, social support and laughter got him into an elevated emotional state, even in the midst of tragedy, to rebuild his life Science based techniques, no more than thirty minutes a day in only eight weeks of practice, can produce incredible changes in the structure of your brain. These changes make you happier and build up your resilience. Being consistent and cultivating these positive states, over time they will become traits. These changes are hard-wired into your brain, and become stable and durable personality traits. Ep 197IE197 Julie Morin: Wheelchair to Wellness: Self-Healing Revolution with Envol (Healing, Meditation, Low-Tox & Eco-Living) (Feat. Tim Van Driessche)

In this episode, Julie Morin, Tim Van Driessche and Amrit have a touching conversation about Julie's incredible recovery from spending 4 years in a wheelchair to walk again.Listen as they talk about how Julie tragically ended up in a wheelchair, how tapping into her body’s self-healing power helped her heal, how important it is to have someone that believes in you in such challenging moments and the last piece missing to make a full recovery. They converse about Envol, an app born from Julie’s healing journey; how they created it, what the word “Envol” means and their aspirations for the app. Finally, both Tim and Julie share how they feel about the whole journey and the path they are on now to support others and live life with passion.Julie Morin is an artist, meditation writer and health enthusiast. She and her life partner Tim are the co-founders of Envol.Julie’s challenging story began at the age of 25 lying on a yoga mat. All of a sudden she was struck with pain in both legs and couldn't move them, leaving her unable to walk and in a wheelchair for 4 years. She was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome and doctors would say it was all in her head. She did therapy but that didn't help. She continued searching for a treatment and went to Belgium. This time they diagnosed her with chronic Lyme disease and started her on an antibiotic treatment making things worse. After years of medical misdiagnosis, in 2018 Julie made the choice to stop chemical treatment and take control to let her body heal naturally. She changed her victim mentality to an empowered one, and that simple shift in her mindset was enough to start feeling better.Through a lot of research, Julie and Tim discovered that Julie’s body would heal by sleeping well, doing meditation, eating healthy food and grounding. Soon after doing all of this, things slowly got better and her healing journey began.Recently, following a follow-up Lyme consultation with a naturopath, she finally had the answer she had been looking for: she discovered that she never had Lyme disease but fluoroquinolone poisoning from ciprofloxacin she had taken in 2015. This was the piece missing for a complete recovery. She would fear no more about the paralisis coming back.Tim and Julie were able to let go of that sick identity and become a couple again. They strongly believe now in the power of the body to heal itself naturally and that has changed their life completely. They are grateful, appreciate the beauty in simplicity and have created an app to help those who are facing similar situations. It's a healing tool that empowers people to awaken their body's self-healing powers. There is a lot you can do to improve your health that is accessible, free and simple. Let those actions become habits and your life will change.Julie was resilient and this helped her face all the challenges. But above all, she says it is thanks to Tim’s unconditional love, support and faith in her the whole time. She believes that in tough moments it is crucial to have one that believes in you; it is the pillar for a healing journey.“We create our life with every choice that we make” - Julie“If you believe you are going to heal this way, I am 100% behind you” - TimFor all the links go to https://inspiredevolution.com/the-healing-story-behind-envol Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 196IE196 Kelly-Marie Kerr: Unlocking Divine Enlightenment: Sacred Secretion Yogic Science Hidden in Christianity

Kelly-Marie and Amrit dive deep into Kelly-Marie's work that explores and reveals the parallels between Scripture and science. They talk about what inspired Kelly-Marie to write her books, how she felt about having dreams and visions, how she primed herself as a receiver and “existence” as a vibratory experience. They also converse about what she means about electric and magnetic devices, reconciliation between yoga and bible and the controversial side of it, courage needed to be true to herself and the term “communication to ourselves” mentioned in her book Elevation.Kelly-Marie Kerr is a writer, YouTube creator and author of the best seller "The God Design: Secrets of the Mind, Body and Soul" (https://inspiredevolution.com/recommends/kelly-marie-kerr-the-god-design/) and her recent book, "Elevation: The Divine Power of the Human Body" which is a study of the symbols and human alchemy hidden in the Bible Book of Revelations (https://inspiredevolution.com/recommends/kelly-marie-kerr-the-god-design/). She is also the founder of "Seek Vision" and former actress. She experienced clarity doing Daniel Fasting and felt vibrations down her spine. She saw flashing images of a black and white explanatory video on youtube, four animals from the book of Ezekiel and blue oil that took her to a deeper understanding of Kundalini energy.  Although Kelly felt love, gratitude and understood what she was seeing, she couldn’t figure out why this was happening. Afraid that no one would believe her, she continued to pursue her path anonymously, digging deeper into prayer, christian yoga and reading the bible. In this episode, Kelly shares with us how she learned about the Sacred Secretion and how it helped her connect the dots and realize that she had been guided all the time while seeking her divine purpose. The Sacred Secretion, or Christ Oil, travels through our spinal cord into the Pineal gland, causing us to see God face to face and be enlightened. When you seek what is authentic to you, you start to become a good receiver of what you are looking for. Once you are a receiver, you can tap into whatever you are looking for at any given time. Kelly’s journey wasn’t easy. Her sincerity and light had to fit in her real world and it didn't add up with people in her life. She discovered secrets, not just on a personal level but with the world around her. Kelly believes you have to find a balance between light and shadow. The way to deal with it is denying what doesn’t reconcile with what you are calling in on a vibratory level.Tune In: Welcome Kelly-Marie Kerr to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)Inspiration behind writing: (00:55)How she felt about having dreams and visions: (06:07)Priming herself as a receiver: (15:14)Existence as a vibratory experience: (17:21)About the head as an electric device and the heart as a magnetic device: (19:27)Reconciliation between yoga & bible and the controversial side of it: (22:33)Courage in terms of being true to herself: (38:19)The importance of “communication to ourselves”: (44:10)Get in touch with Kelly: (52:29)For all the links visit: https://inspiredevolution.com/kelly-marie-kerr-on-the-yoga-of-christianitySupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 194IE194 Dr. Daniel Goleman: Mastering Emotional Intelligence: Transforming Leadership and Personal Success

Dr. Daniel Goleman and Amrit dive deep into developing emotional intelligence, with focus on leadership. They talk about self-awareness, how to manage your emotions, self-motivation and empathy, how to handle a relationship, and creating stability within yourself. They also converse about the impact of emotions on you and others, developing focus, types of focus, performance vs. stress levels and “good work”.Dr. Daniel Goleman is a psychologist, science journalist, lecturer, and the author of the best-selling book Emotional Intelligence amongst others. He is also the host of First Person Plural podcast and Key Step Media publisher, co-director of Consortium for Research on Emotional Intelligence in Organizations, co-developer of the Goleman EI, and former science journalist for the New York Times.Emotional Intelligence is the capacity to recognize and manage your own feelings and to recognize and respond effectively to those of others. This tool with four domains helps you be more successful in all aspects of your life. Self-awareness (keystone of EI), to recognize and understand how emotions help or hurt what you do. With this tool you have a sense of how others see you, a sense of your strengths and limitations which gives you self-confidence, and clarity on your values and sense of purpose.Self-management, to handle your emotional reactions, control impulse, and to recover from life’s upsets.Once you have mastered these skills, relationship management flows in naturally leading to leadership and interpersonal effectiveness. Some stress is vital, but too much can shut down your brain’s ability to work well. This is a “frazzle state” that can be balanced in many different ways. Meditation is an excellent option. Ep 193IE193 Mikey Lee: Beyond Success: Mastering Mindset & Culture for Executive Transformation (SOUL'D)

In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Mikey Lee, a sales expert, mindset master, culture architect and public speaker. Mikey is a corporate come spiritual, social entrepreneur. Through his organisation, Beyond Success, Mikey is dedicated to his mission, to support and transform the lives of CEOs and executives across the globe. He is the founder of Soul’d, culture specialist at Sharetree and founder of Island of Men, a men’s wellbeing charity.Mikey and Amrit talk about the importance of coming back to our own spirit and the natural inner perspective that we carry to be able to define our own success so we can move beyond the success defined by others. They converse about what it means to be living on a hamster wheel, how to step off it and face the challenges to heal and walk back a purposeful life. They dive deep into the meaning of “beyond success”, all that helped Mikey build himself up after breakdown, the resistance that many of us carry to take time to ask ourselves purposeful questions and what the world would look like if it were moving beyond success.Mikey spent the first part of his career scaling the corporate ladder in real estate development. He became a top 10 national real-estate agent. All he had and all that he would do defined him in a societal context as a “successful” being.  Mikey describes this life as one that would’ve satisfied The Wolf Of Wallstreet. He had everything he wanted, yet that wasn’t enough. He believes many of us live our life on a hamster wheel that turns because of the constant validations and judgements that come from society. But things changed when in 2016 he was hit by depression. Emotionally disconnected, spirit destroyed, with suicidal thoughts, Mikey began his process of recalibrating what truly mattered to him. People appeared in his life and supported him in different ways. Guided by renowned coaches, while immersed in the study of holistic practises, Mikey began to redefine what a successful life truly meant. He realized he wanted to live a life well beyond success as defined by others. He connected and participated in men’s well being and health circles that led him to create his own men’s health organization called Island of Men. And meditated to find stillness. Coming into stillness gave him a broader listening and understanding of what truly mattered. His life became more simple, no longer chasing but celebrating with gratitude.Ever since, Mikey has been on a mission to inspire others so they don’t go through the pain he went through, and give them the opportunity to explore life in a spiritual, peaceful and blissful way.He discovered that absolute fulfilment came from a life of service. The more he shows up and gives, the more he receives. Mike’s life is full but he shines when he has an opportunity to be in service with one of his offerings. And his core offering is “redefine success”. He gets paid for doing what he loves to do the most and this is the expanded life he wishes to inspire on others.Fear and beliefs deep within hold you back from making a living out of what you most love to do. It can take a lot of work on yourself, but it is possible. This healing journey is about taking time to step into stillness and ask yourself what does a successful life mean to you, and once you have done that, you can start to create ideas of what you wish to do. The whole process involves taking small steps as you continue to step into stillness and learning from the wise who have been on the path before you.  Tune In: Welcome Mikey Lee to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)Where “beyond success” came from and it’s meaning:(01:38)What made Mikey successful before his breakdown:(04:17)What helped Mikey build himself up:(09:00)Finding healing in stillness, gratitude and presence:(15:17)The importance of recalibrating success in order to have mental health:(21:47)Resistance to take the time to ask oneself purposeful questions:(27:38)Mikey’s intentionality to take someone off the hamster wheel:(35:12)Encountering those who can’t stand the chaos off the hamster wheel:(38:29)The awe in spiritual connection:(46:07) Imagining a world moving beyond success:(53:07)Connect with Mikey:(56:33)Connect with Mikey Lee:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Mikey.Lee111 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mikey_lee_ivany/ IOM Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/IslandOfMen/ IOM: https://islandofmen.com/ IOM Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/islandofmenaustralia/ Soul’d Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mind_body_sould/ Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mikey-lee-ivany/ Join the Inspired Evolution Community:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/InspiredEvolution/    Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/inspired_evolution/  YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/InspiredEvolution/  Website: https://inspiredevolution.com/ Support this show http://supporter.acast.co

Ep 192IE192 Mickey Space: Yoga Beats & Soulful Retreats: Uniting Mind, Body, & Sound (Sparkly Yoga)

In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Michele Maselli, known as Mickey Space. He is a musician, DJ, artist, Gita Yoga Teacher, Yin Yoga teacher, and teacher trainer. He is the founder of Sparkly Yoga and specialises in holding space as a DJ, or as a Yoga teacher. Mickey and Amrit talk about how Mickey started cultivating the practice of yoga, the challenges faced coming from a creative world to a society that is totally structured, and how he feels being in harmony with his passion for music, yoga and his spiritual path. They also cave into how he reconciled the balance of effort and surrender in asana, the evolution of consciousness and enlightenment, the importance of presence on a journey exploring consciousness and finally what Mickey does to keep vital.Mickey has a diverse upbringing, both Italian and Australian and is influenced by many cultures; hippie revolution & psychedelic culture, The Beatles, punk and grunge, house and techno, and hip hop. While Yoga in the West adopted a physical practice, these western musicians were getting their influence from the East. The use of psychedelics would open their minds to a deeper reality within and seek answers to questions. This experience took them back to India and the essence of yoga.Intrigued about this spiritual aspect, Mickey began to do meditation, go to asana practices and learn new concepts while working on visual animation. In the mid 90’s he went to India, but following his natural inclination to go with the flow, he stopped off at Thailand on the way and ended up living there for eight years. During his stay, he went on a trip to India and on his return he opened a bar where he was able to perform his profession as a DJ.In 2004 he went back to Australia and worked as a Dj for a living, and in 2007 graduated with a 900 hour in depth teachers diploma. He teaches full time from Vinyasa to Yin Yoga and sound healing. Being a passionate DJ, Mickey also introduces music and free flowing movement into his classes. In 2018, he became a teacher trainer. His never ending spiritual journey unfolds towards the idea that self realization is the enlightened state of being and that no material wealth can determine that. The yoga asana practice of effort and surrender is the balance to be able to live in this material world. Even towards the journey of self realization a sense of effort is needed as well as a balance of deep surrender. Diving deep into the evolution of consciousness and enlightenment, he realized the age of this physical world travels in repetitive cycles just like nature. Yukteswar called them “The Yugas” referred to a 24,000 year cycle; that has a 12,000 year descending cycle (where man loses touch with the highest teachings) and a 12,000 ascending cycle (where the lost wisdom is relearned again)Presence is the essence of consciousness and yoga-sutras are the formula to achieve ultimate presence. Ep 191IE191 Matt Coldrick: The Artist's Way: From Britpop to Magical Soundscapes - Re-Connect to Your Inner Creative Child (Pan Electric)

In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Matt Coldrick known as Pan Electric. He is a musician, producer and coach.Matt and Amrit talk about the story behind the breathtaking theme Sweet As Rain with roots in Ethiopia. They dive deep into how music came into Matt’s life, coming home from the east to the west as a major influence in his life, the importance of crafting spirituality in different ways, the pythagorean philosophy and the ratios of music, and how sound heals. They also talk about community, the importance of music within the community and the way they unite, what it is to be disenfranchised from singing your song and the place music holds in our lives.A new guitar in hand and listening to a devotional song of George Harrison set Matt’s soul off on a spiritual journey. In the 90’s Matt became a pop player playing in many festivals worldwide. This life soon made him unhappy and he was given an opportunity to do something different that wasn't about money. He went to Ethiopia with a film director behind Live Aid to make a documentary to avoid kids reaching an early death. Matt contacted Ethiopian folk musicians to play their music and they were able to get fantastic recordings for the soundtrack. Back in England he finished that song and created “Sweet As Rain”; five years later they combined it with African folk. Matt tried to reconnect with the Ethiopians to honour their work, but it was impossible. Years later in Melbourne, he knew a lady involved in Water Charity connected with Ethiopia. Feeling guilty that he hadn't been able to give royalties to the musicians, he decided to donate the equivalent to Water Charity. It was a relief, but he keeps on donating and trying to find these amazing guys. There is a strong sense of connection to spirit in Matt’s story. As a result, he has produced beautiful sounds. Amrit deeply connects to his story and sees the link this sound has with The Inspired Evolution. If you enjoy this music, please donate here: https://watercharity.com/ Matt now lives in Greece because he disagrees with England’s politics - he considers himself European - and he is still recovering from coronavirus. He has done a lot of meditation and is on a journey to use music as a healing tool. He doesn’t know where this journey goes, but he is going to go with it.Coming home from the east to the west has been a huge influence in his life. He has the capacity to embody aspects of faith as a result of exploring many others and believes spiritual diversity prevents us from falling into a sense of dogma. He has tapped into Greek origins, discovering with Pythagoras you could heal using sound and harmonic frequencies, Chinese herbalism, and now Franciscan spirituality. Music is being used in many different ways. It congregates people and connects different cultures, promoting diversity and growth. Matt believes context and community are key to living in a more meaningful way. There are many views of ethical value and no human is an island unto himself. There is an emotional context in sound. Music's rhythmic power enchants us into a world that disrupts conventional narratives to be able to tap into our inner narratives and helps us harmoniously connect about things that are not easily said. “We were singing before we were speaking” Many of us feel disenfranchised from the sense of song because it is at the forefront of the commercial process of selling popular culture. Tune In: Welcome Matt Coldrick to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)How music came into Matt’s life:(00:04:09)Timeless quality about music:(00:06:46)What brought Matt to Ethiopia?:(00:12:00)About Matt in Greece:(00:31:06)From east to west as a major influence in Matt’s life:(43:40)Crafting spirituality in many different ways:(00:47:29)Music within a community and the way they unite:(00:53:31)What disenfranchises one from the sense of song:(01:08:28)How Matt and Amrit connected:(01:14:23)Mentioned resources:Pan Electric - Track Sweet As Rain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGIE1VzPPiE Whale Song Music by Inner Child: https://innerchildmusic.bandcamp.com/ “Music both describes and destroys time” - Quote by Edgard VarèseApukuna: https://soundcloud.com/apukuna Nora Bateson: https://batesoninstitute.org/nora-bateson/ Connect with Matt Coldrick:Website: http://www.mattcoldrick.com/Pan Electric Website: https://panelectric.bandcamp.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/panelectric1/ Bandcamp: https://panelectric.bandcamp.com/ Join the Inspired Evolution Community:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/InspiredEvolution/    Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/inspired_evolution/  YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/InspiredEvolution/  Website: https://inspiredevolution.com/Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 190IE190 Daniel Mangena: Manifest Your Dreams: Develop Millionaire Mindset & Achieve Abundance Mastery

TW: This episode contains conversations about depression and suicide. In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Daniel Mangena, manifestation coach, international speaker, entrepreneur, podcaster, and bestselling author. He is the CEO of Dream With Dan.Daniel and Amrit, talk about how to manifest abundance, the meaning of ”stop meditating”, how important courage is and the importance of being grateful before the things happen and how to do that. After losing his fortune twice and receiving a late diagnosis of Asperger's, Dan was on the verge of suicide. He settled a framework as a lifeline while he struggled with suicidal thoughts. A four step method for getting inside of yourself, learning to take responsibility for your own life, and ultimately manifesting what you desire out in the material world. His method led him to move into a more holistic whole abundant place. He wrote Stepping Beyond Intention CHECK here: https://amz.run/4sJP, and started helping others overcome adversity to become abundant. Many people consider abundance only as money in their account. But it manifests in infinite ways. To attract abundance into your life you need to feel it within, be conscious about it, and connect with it. It is your birthright. It is a constant journey of expansion, making yourself able to accept more and more so that you have more and more to give.People must interrogate the intentions they have with the heart; the mind wants, the heart gets excited. And then clean their intentions by having these conversations of where did the desire come from. It’s about digging deep and disrupting what’s happening at an unconscious level and choosing what you want to experience. You need to pull back the layers of narratives that are not yours and hold you back. Dan put too much weight on his beliefs about what other people thought about him, to the point of seeking a way to end his life. Self-belief and positive inputs led him to be present and make powerful choices to create change. Dan has now this resource, narrative and evidence that it is not all hopeless if depression comes back. Those who are competitive have to take from others. Those who are creative understand that we are all abundant from birth. They recognize there is enough for everyone and if they honour the natural law of nature, things are going to flow to them. Dan believes that when we stop judging that dark sides exist, we can pull energy back from that and sit in peace with it. Dan explains what he means about “stop meditating”. In order for meditation to have its desired effect you need to actually step back into physical reality, where you can take physical action. People have been taught to focus on their inner-work, and that is great only if they are in service of a physical destination.Dan believes a lot of courage is needed for a small change and every single change requires courage. Reality unfolds to our expectations. If our expectations are positive and we celebrate them in advance, that is gratitude. Being grateful in advance is a starting point where the creation of things happens. You can do this before reaching the outcome because the quantum model shows the fact that everything is happening here and now.Tune In: Welcome Daniel Mangena to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)What abundance means according to Dan: (03:31)Abundance and the multi dimensionality of abundance:(06:10)Suicidal moment and how the intention emerged:(09:27)What has Dan transformed in alignment to?:(16:14)How to reprogram the subconscious:(18:15)How to heal the “lack” within the “want”:(22:14)Defining abundance for ourselves: (27:14)Competition vs. creation:(30:03)How to connect to what is really yours:(36:59)The importance of taking courageous action:(41:25)Gratitude for things before they appear:(45:54)Connect with Dan:(49:43)Daniel Mangena’s books:“Money Game: A Wealth Manifestation Guide, Level Up Your Mindset Step-By-Step & Create An Abundant Life ”: https://amz.run/4sJJ“The Dreamer’s Manifesto”: https://amz.run/4sJQConnect with Daniel Mangena:Website: https://dreamwithdan.com/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thedreamerceoInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/dreamerceoYoutube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMdAvGk6xa5fptmdULliJrgTwitter: https://twitter.com/dreamerceoLinkedin:https://www.linkedin.com/in/dreamerceo/Podcast Do It With Dan: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/do-it-with-dan/id1381226331Join the Inspired Evolution Community:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/InspiredEvolution/    Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/inspired_evolution/  YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/InspiredEvolution/  Website: https://inspiredevolution.com/Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 189IE189 Eric Edmeades: Mastering Business Freedom: Secrets to a Serial Entrepreneur's Success

In this week’s episode, Amrit has the privilege to welcome back Eric Edmeades, serial entrepreneur, business speaker, business & marketing mentor, storyteller, bestselling author and a pioneer in evolutionary biology, nutritional anthropology, and behavioral change dynamics. He is the founder of Wildfit, Business Freedom, and Speaker Nation, and has owned businesses in a variety of industries. Eric and Amrit, talk about personal development and business development as two things that go hand in hand. They dive deep in working ON your business vs. working IN your business, what it means to be self employed vs. what it means to be a business owner, and how to grow a business to achieve business freedom so you can spend your time and money doing what matters most to you.Personal development is key to building a successful business. If you want to build an exceptional business as well as an extraordinary life you have to work on yourself. The more you work on you the better your business is going to be.Every business starts in the self employment phase and needs you to be there. But, you can be self employed and keep working in the company all your life, or you can start as self employed with the intention to build an enterprise to the point it will not require you anymore and in time have a life of its own. The transition to business owner depends on your mindset. Once you have decided you are going to build an enterprise, you make distinctively different decisions on a daily basis and while you take action you are thinking how it affects your eventual plan. Decisions are risky but necessary, especially when it comes to investing. Eric shares practical examples to explain why investing time and money on your company can help you beat competition. Criteria can be the same whether you are talking about selling your time or whether you are talking about creating a business, you still have to choose what is the basis upon which you want to make money. Eric believes you must consider if it is fun, if it is going to make an impact and finally if it gives you some money. When you love what you do, you show up with passion and that makes a distinction.Working IN your business is totally different to working ON your business. As a business owner you have to figure out which are the tasks you hate doing and start a plan to take on the right people to do them for you. Your task is to work ON your business through marketing and taking assets that can be useful in other markets to expand the business. and achieve freedomLearning through others' experience and asking for their advice to avoid the challenges of solving problems that have been solved by others before. This way you become more creative and optimistic, and you can apply that to another business or even solve world problems.Empathy is vitally important for building a business. You need this skill to associate the emotional conditions of your clients and your team. The way you treat your team is how they will treat their clients.Edmeades is actually working on a book focussed on his principle “evolution gap”. It is the gap between our very slow genetic evolution and the very fast and increasing piece of our social structures and technologies. Ep 188IE188 Apukuna: Shamanic Medicine Music: Echoes of Transformation for Your Soul's Evolution (+ Exclusive Mix)

In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Jon David, “Apukuna”, a DJ, music mixer and ceremonial medicine musician. He is one of Amrit’s favourite artists on SoundCloud, a huge music and audio online platform that lets people discover and enjoy the greatest selection of music from the most diverse creator community on earth.Amrit and Apukuna, talk about Apukuna’s journey of creativity, his electronic music, ceremonial medicine music and how it has all come together. They dive deep into him cultivating a particular sound and how he found himself during the process. They also cave into how being even more himself expressing his gift to the world helped him become more well received. Apukuna has been involved in electronic music for more than 20 years now. In the last 12 years he has also been playing ceremonial medicine music on his guitar with amazing people such as Darpan and others. In the last 3 years he has begun to blend/mix these two worlds together into something unique called Apukuna, sharing it on SoundCloud where he is building his own community. In the Quechua language “APU” means spirit of the mountain (Apukuna plural)Three years ago he was creating more dance floor friendly mixes trying to remain accessible to his listeners, but at the beginning of the Pandemic, he decided to let go and drop further into himself, his own love. He opened himself up to feeling comfortable and brought through what felt true to him. He began to cultivate a new spiritual sound, his sound, one of love, energy and healing that is being highly praised globally. Something out of this world.Apukuna is looking forward to, once things get back to normal, take these new sounds and adapt them to live settings. He wants to bring this love and energy into all of his mixes. His intention is to draw dance and listeners into something that is familiar, and then blast them with this new frequency of love. There has been a lot of learning about himself through putting mixes together. The mixing process is tough and takes a long time, it can even take weeks. It requires patience, perseverance and being somewhat meticulous. Apukuna is very meticulous and recognizes how challenging it is to others as it is to himself, but he sees it as an enormous gift and is grateful for this “superpower”. Having had experience with reflection of who and what he is, he now takes a reflection, listens to it and tries to learn from it. Being meticulous is the part of himself that has helped him live and sustain his life doing what he most loves to do. He strongly believes we must learn how to look at and love more those elements we all carry in ourselves that can be either a blessing or a challenge. What he does with music is for himself and then shares it as a gift. He is following the intuition of what feels good to him and he trusts it. He is following his passion, wants to share it and then see where it goes. Furthermore, he shares a little preview of what is coming next. Breath Medicine Mix 002 is brewing up right now and there is an intention to use it in breathwork sessions. Apukuna’s dream is to be in front of a crowd of people where he can play mixes, bring in his guitar, bring in his voice and integrate all of them together. Nobody knows, but it is quite likely Apukuna not only will be about mixes but about producing songs too.Towards the end of this episode, Apukuna shares a jaw-dropping mix he has prepared especially for the Inspired Evolution Tribe.  “Music is medicine and medicine is music”Tune In: Welcome Apukuna to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)The beginning of exploring music and mixes: (04:04)From remaining accessible to doing what was true to him:(11:12)Learning about himself when putting mixes together:(15:36)How much of putting mixes together is his career and how much of it is his passion:(21:44)Realizing that challenging elements we carry can serve us:(26:52)About dream mixes and mixes that are brewing:(32:23)Last words to the audience:(39:09)Special mix for the Inspired Evolution Tribe:(41:43)Mentioned Resources:Darpan: https://www.darpan.com/Connect with Apukuna:Website: https://soundcloud.com/apukuna Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ApukunaMusic For just a glance of this beauty, listen to Amrit’s favourite mixes: Spirit Bear:https://soundcloud.com/apukuna/apukuna-spirit-bear Return of The Bird Tribes: https://soundcloud.com/apukuna/mix-apukuna-return-of-the-bird-tribes-2020Join the Inspired Evolution Community:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/InspiredEvolution/    Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/inspired_evolution/   YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/InspiredEvolution/  Website: https://inspiredevolution.com/ Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 187IE187 Ben Irvine & Simon Wade: Beyond the Grid: Blueprint for Sustainable Community Living (Eltham, Melbourne, Australia)

In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Ben Irvine and Simon Wade, who have come together to build an intentional and organic community in Eltham, a beautiful place in the heart of Victoria, Melbourne.Ben, Simon and Amrit talk about the project, their vision and how they are going to manage the power dynamics and challenges that pop up, what inspired them to go on this journey and the resources that guide them, and the importance of eating together. They also talk about community and why it is so important to live life outside the paradigm of what we all call normal and live differently. After watching pioneer architect Charles Durrett’s presentation on cohousing and doing a lot of research, Ben decided he wanted to build a community far away from isolation. A village where he could live together with his loved ones and others in community creating close bonds. A village where the members could feel free to have their own beliefs, ways of being and ways of relating to the community. With this idea in mind and having partnered with a developer, Ben got in touch with Simon to be his left hand. Simon, in total agreement with this vision, agreed to be part of this new project. This project consists of the development of 26 private dwellings for 40 adults and following Charles Durrett’s Danish model and book “Creating Cohousing'' where he describes the whole concept. This successful model lays emphasis on community, sustainability, village living, shared resources, affordability and eating together. The village is not founded on ideology. From a business point of view, Simon refers to it as a decentralized movement with bottom-up decision making instead of top-down hierarchies of demand and control. They talk about agreements and self management but with the relational space as the centre. They gather frequently in circles to talk and move forward. Every meeting starts by sharing a circle and eating together. Amrit refers to it as “breaking bread together”. These are the most important factors for healthy and successful community cohesion, especially when facing power dynamics. This relational space helps everyone come into resonance with each other and have a harmonious relationship, which allows new ideas to arise and decision making easier. Ben believes community feels like something we have to learn how to do again. Simon believes it is about embracing the fact that we live in a relationship with the earth on which we stand, with our family, friends and loved ones and it is our job to turn this relational space into a beautiful one. They share the same vision. In today’s society, there is a lack of community they would like around them. Every family lives in their own atomic unit often disconnected from the people around them facing adversity and doing things by themselves. These guys want to reimagine life as a place where people can learn from each other and give support and encouragement. A place where people connect and thrive at all stages of life, where kids don't need to rely only on parents and can thrive growing up with community and other kids as well and a place where the elder’s don’t have to live alone any more. Tune In: Welcome Ben Irvine and Simon Wade to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)About Ben and Simon’s project:(03:01)About Simon and Ben’s visions coming together:(07:39)Powering a community without an ideology:(20:52)About the serendipity indicating they were both on the right path:(32:04)Deciding factors in terms of intentionality behind to the location:(34:13)Simon and Ben’s interpretation of agreements:(37:01)The importance of community according to Simon and Ben:(43:53)Mentioned Resources:Menergy website: https://menergy.org.au/ Cohousing presentation by Charles Durrett: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01H2YVarugA“Creating Cohousing” book by Charles Durrett and Kathryn McCamant: https://amz.run/4oZH Property Collectives. https://propertycollectives.com.au/ “Sand Talk: How Indigenous Thinking Can Save the World” book by Tyson Yunkaporta: https://amz.run/4ocA Connect with Simon Wade:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/simonvwade Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcNUmeb-pAVi5ka26uFUIow Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/simonvwade/ Connect with Ben Irvine:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/afriendlikebenInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/benmagnusshibari/ Join the Inspired Evolution Community:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/InspiredEvolution/    Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/Inspired_Evolution/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/InspiredEvolution/  Website: https://inspiredevolution.com/ Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 186IE186 Don Jose Ruiz: Ancient Shamanic Toltec Wisdom for a Modern World (The Four Agreements)

In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Don Jose Ruiz, a Toltec Master of Transformation and modern-day Shaman dedicated to sharing the wisdom of the ancient toltec to sacred societies all around the world. Don Ruiz is an international bestselling author of many books and recently wrote The Wisdom of the Sharmanic Animals.Don Jose and Amrit, talk about the importance of awakening to the artist that lies within you. They converse about how important it is to be present and honest with yourself, and do a lot of inner work to connect to the medicine of your heart. They also dive deep into why you should be kind and show respect to others as you do to yourself, and how to reconnect to your spirit so that you can live a life in alignment to your heart rather than “domestication”.Don Jose shares insightful stories to bring his message to this episode and the world. He converts his wisdom into practical, everyday life concepts that will help you transform.Toltec’s wisdom of kindness passes on from generation to generation to keep one and another kind in a world that is totally unkind. It’s tradition is considered a fundamental path of healing and spiritual growth. To be toltec means that you are an artist of your own life. Everybody is a unique artist of the spirit and here to create. They believe we live in a world where everything is possible. Once you step into it, your dreams are born. We all came into this world with wisdom, as natural lovers of life and abundant in kindness. Soon after birth, personal beliefs begin to build up through socialization from our parents and people in general. We create a false reality about the world around us becoming conformists to other’s ideas and judge when we fail to conform to the expectations. Don Jose calls this “domestication”. Instead of creating your own work of art and listening to what your heart is asking you to do, you emerge into life as a version that is not you.We can recover our “authentic self” back. Ruiz believes you can unlearn the beliefs and expectations that lead to unnecessary suffering and pain, and through mastering awareness and transformation, you can redirect your energy and create the life of your dreams. There are many challenges in domestication. Ruiz believes you first have to trust yourself to be able to trust the world. You begin thinking another way. You think clearly and start to question everything. When you think negatively you can recognize it as a bad habit. The way to get rid of that habit is by being discerning, not believing those negative thoughts and instead trust in your inner feelings.Don Jose calls this the moment we wake up, and when we start opening this channel our lives begin to change because we are no longer thinking negatively and attracting negativity. Any negativity that comes into our presence dissolves. And that has a ripple effect because as the Toltec tradition teaches, we are all messengers. That is why we must pay attention to what message we are sharing with others. We must keep on doing inner work to connect to the medicine within. As Ruiz says ” Either you choose a plastic garden or a beautiful garden that needs your care” Which do you choose?Tune In: Welcome Don Jose Ruiz to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)What it means to be toltec and the artist of your own life: (02:28)The relationship with the medicine within and the influence it has on others:(04:39)The frustration of being kind because expectations are not met:(07:04)Walking the path of honesty to connect to the medicine within:(09:06)The challenge of domestication when fighting for your innate self:(11:14)Willingness to find a new openness to live as fundamental beings:(15:04)Setting out messages that will be received in the world:(19:28)The importance of family:(26:38)People more primed than others to the artist way?:(29:19)How to cultivate connection to openness:(32:44)The essence of storytelling and what it means to Ruiz?:(35:44)Don Jose Ruiz books: "Shamanic Power Animals” https://amzn.to/37xk2eo The Wisdom of the Shamans” https://amzn.to/3lUmRyM “The Fifth Agreement” https://amzn.to/2UcqJzE “The Medicine Bag” https://amzn.to/3lTLwDy Connect with Don Jose Ruiz:Website:https://www.miguelruiz.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ToltecLife Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/donjoseruiz/ Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTwSKaGU-DpjGG0shxdEkJw Join the Inspired Evolution Community:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/InspiredEvolution/    Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/InspiredEvo/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/InspiredEvolution/  Website: https://inspiredevolution.com/ Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 185IE185 Dr. Dain Heer: Master Abundance & Break Free From Perfectionism: Discover the Power of Access Consciousness

In this week’s episode, Amrit welcomes back Dr. Dain Heer, a change-maker, body whisperer, speaker, co-creator of Access Consciousness, and a renowned author of many books. “Body Whispering: A New Way of Seeing, Being and Healing” is his latest best-seller, you can get it here: https://inspiredevolution.com/recommends/body-whispering-by-dr-dain-heer/Dr. Heer and Amrit, dive into a deep conversation about judgement vs. intuition, the tightrope between ego and humility on our path of greatness, how to get rid of perfectionism and begin to access our conscious awareness and reconsider our choices to create and live a life of greatness. We were all born with curiosity but too often judgment gets in our way. Judgment is something made up and keeps us stuck in a cycle of no choice and change. We avoid living in the way we uniquely could because we lie to ourselves. We focus on what we have decided are our faults and flaws, and that leads us to stress, anxiety, severe depression and a bad quality of life. Dr. Heer refers to judgement as a tiny ball of reality with what is right, wrong, good and bad and beyond it exists an endless reality of possibilities. The only way you can get there, is by having another perspective. You can let go of self-judgment and choose to follow the song of your heart towards greatness. The whispers lead you to more of that. When you are closer to doing the things that are true to you, you start to feel lighter and happier, and when you're closer to judgement and fear you feel heavier and sadderChange is not easy. But if you are afraid of doing something and do it all the same, no magic can show up because no magic can get in. Fear is a distracted implant; an implanted point of view. The place from which you act determines your experience of the action. Don’t act from fear. Act from a place of excitement and joy and kindness, and you will create whatever you want to. There is a tightrope between ego and humility on our journey of greatness. Amrit firmly believes that humility is the best recourse in so many instances. But if your ego insists on pushing to be humble and over humble yourself, you are running the risk of not honouring the gifts that life has given you and the blessing of life itself. It is difficult but we have to find the balance. They revert to judgement to confirm this. You are judged if you go too far one way and if you go too far the other way. That tightrope is based on a reality where judgement has value. You need to be willing to be present with everything as it is. Being present helps you see other possibilities and choices available. As stated by Dain, perfection is the ultimate judgement. According to Amrit, it is a “bourgeois” resistance. Many people wait for their ideas to be perfect before they get shared. “If you are above 80% let it go because you are never going to get more perfect than that”Dain states that instead of struggling for perfection, struggle for greatness. In greatness there is no judgement, you have a universe of possibilities and there is freedom and joy. We are energetic human beings by nature. If we could acknowledge that capacity that we have to perceive sutilities and awareness of energy, we could use it to navigate life. Level up your life with unlimited access to every Mindvalley Quest Program (over 30+ programs). Ep 184IE184 Michael Meade: Living Mystic: Unravelling Your Story & Life's Mysteries (Myth, Meaning, and Imagination)

In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Michael Meade, a storyteller, scholar of mythology, anthropology, and psychology, and author. He is the founder of Mosaic Multicultural Foundation and host of the Living Myth Podcast. Please check into this beauty here: https://www.livingmyth.org/contactMichael and Amrit, talk about the importance of having a deep connection to our soul to find our spirit and live authentically, and about the knowledge that keeps pouring in to awaken us. When we find our gifts and share them, we can consciously connect and become creative. We can change the world, heal it from its wounds, and have a worldview based on connection. The dive deep into the origins of Michael’s mythical journey, myth as language, and why people have lost their vertical imagination. They converse about ways in which the soul grows and finds its unique project and path in life, and what supports it on the journey. Michael was given a book on mythology on his thirteenth birthday. Though he immersed into it, it would take another 20 years before it became evident it was his path in life. At the age of twenty, Michael was drafted into the army of the Vietnam War. Refusing to take orders, he was sent to prison’s solitary confinement. After six months, he came out knowing he had a unique connection to something meaningful to him which guided him to his current calling as a renowned storyteller. Meade called this initiation. His soul grew and found its unique project in life, by reaching wisdom and descending to the depths of his soul for love and healing. This transformation is about separation, ordeal, and the conscious return to community.  Michael talks about the genius path. “Genius” is referring to the unique spirit that is in each person’s soul. Everybody is born with a spirit which means they are gifted. When people discover their gifts and share them, they become creative and can even navigate through turmoil. Transformation at the level of the individual heart and soul generates the imagination and collective energy needed for the renewal of community as well as a restoration of nature.Vertical imagination is the center of mysticism. It is the capacity to imagine the height of heavens and feel the depth of the underworld. In order to stay connected to the spirit, we need to have been in the depth of our soul. Meade believes there is a loss of vertical imagination in the world today which leaves people separated from the deep self and soul. Knowledge is pouring in all the time to awaken us. We must be drawn out of ourselves to become ourselves, and the soul knows that. Call it the awakening of your innate genius, your purpose. When you hear the call you must follow it so you don’t lose the thread of your life. This thread represents the hidden eternity within and the capacity to awaken to how and where they are threaded into the chain of being. The world is in trouble. Disconnection from nature and each other takes us to places of darkness and suffering. Michael sees darkness as the opportunity to interact with creative energy. We are living at the end of an era and are on a path to create a new one. If we have that deep connection to your souls and live as our own true selves, we can naturally become agents of creation and change this world.Tune In: Welcome Michael Meade to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)Michael’s journey into mysticism:(01:28)Myth as a real language:(04:07)Being vertically connected and what holds us back from these vertical imaginational pieces:(07:11)About what loss of imagination may be in service to:(10:52)Why many disconnect from mythical imagination:(17:41)Sense of listening and connection available in today's age:(25:04)Assuming responsibility in a collective awakening:(33:03)Support on a mythical journey:(43:05)Michael Meade books:Awakening the Soul: https://amz.run/4m9i The Genius Myth: https://amz.run/4m9j Fate and Destiny: The Two Agreements of The Soul: https://amz.run/4m5C Mentioned resources:Carl Jung: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Jung Connect with Michael Meade:Website: www.mosaicvoices.org  Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MichaelMeadeMosaic/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/michaelmeade_mosaicvoicesTwitter: https://twitter.com/MMeade_MythYoutube channel: https://www.youtube.com/mosaicvoices Join the Inspired Evolution Community:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/InspiredEvolution/    Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/InspiredEvo/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/InspiredEvolution/  Website: https://inspiredevolution.com/ Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 183IE183 Adam McInnis: Mastering Vibration: The Secrets of Music & the Universe's Energy

In this episode, Adam and Amrit talk about music, creativity, expression and the harmful effects of having a “label”. They dive deep into frequency, the expression of life that comes through you, how to distinguish the world’s frequency from your own and why you need to be more aware of the person who you are.Adam McInnis is an artist, producer, music mentor, singer and songwriter. He is the owner of The Billboard 500 Club, a private mentorship for musicians, artists, and upcoming executives, and Music Industry Contact, an online source for high-level education, opportunities, collaborations, songwriting contests, and mentorships. And co-owner of Kimura Music, a sync and management company, and Neverland Retreats, an experience-based music and adventure company. You are a living energy field. Your body is composed of energy particles in constant motion. So, like everything and everyone else in the universe, you are vibrating and creating energy. You emanate energy and receive it from others. Vibration starts with the intention of thought and it can only be felt, sensed or reacted to. Thought, such as joy, peace, and acceptance, create high frequency vibrations, while other feelings such as anger, despair, fear and stress vibrate at a lower rate. You are responsible for your life and the way you vibrate. Tune into yourself and your core beliefs, and you will raise your energetic frequency which is one of the best gifts you can give the world. When you lift yourself up, you bring others with you. This is the only way you can contribute to raising the collective consciousness of the world.Everyone's experience of life is different, so the reflection of energy is different too. Your life and energy affects all you do. The magic is that no two people can express things the same way. Everybody has their unique expression from their spirit and soul. Many times people get “labels” but they are way more than that. They are an expression of spirit and soul. Labeling people limits our curiosity about them, avoiding connection and so much more. Adam doesn’t have labels and loves what he does. Music is an expression of certain energetic sequences and Adam understands this information very well.Music is a strong hypnosis, it stimulates the subconscious mind, putting suggestions into it, and then if the drums beat, it becomes part of a new program. The magic is that no two people can express music or anything in the same way. Music is one of the only energy forms that can travel around the world and never lose its intentional vibration from the beginning. Bob Marley’s music can prove this. In all his music, he connected his intention deep in thought, combining it with a beautiful tune which makes it unique. Marley’s music reflects what came out of his soul. He knew exactly who he was and prophesied through his music, that is why it hasn't lost its intention throughout the years. Adam states people are losing their natural ability to know what their dna is telling them at all times. He states this making reference to the word love. People talk a lot about it, but don’t know what it means. If you don't understand it, you are not giving value to yourself, to your relationships, to your family, to anything in your life. Words are powerful expression tools. Words can be constructive but destructive too. You need to understand what they mean. When words don’t hold their meaning, communication is hampered. And when it is disrupted and misunderstandings arise, manipulators can use indirect tactics to control your behavior, emotions, and relationships.Tune In: Welcome Adam McInnis to Inspired Evolution!: (00:00:00)About limiting labels:(03:31)Life as an expression of you:(16:11)About showing up %100 and the importance of how we share our words:(18:03)About the inability people have to know what their DNA tells them and manipulation tactics taking control:(40:07)How to create your frequency and stay connected to it:(44:10)Connect with Adam McInnis:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/adammcinnisTwitter: https://twitter.com/adammcinnis1?lang=enLinkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/adam-mcinnis-094a42/ Youtube channel:   https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbNdKRkbee3H_SedvXMjx7g Music Industry Contact Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/musicindustrycontact/ Music Industry Contact Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/musicindustrycontact/?hl=en The Billboard 500 Club: https://thebillboard500.com/ Neverland Retreats: http://neverlandretreats.com/ Join the Inspired Evolution Community:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/InspiredEvolution/    Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/InspiredEvo/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/InspiredEvolution/  Website: https://inspiredevolution.com/ Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution. Ep 182IE182 Dr. Ivan Misner: Mastering the Art of Business Networking: Strategies for Global Connection and Success (BNI - Business Networking International)

In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Dr. Ivan Misner, Ph.D. in Organizational behaviour, the founder and chief visionary officer of BNI (Business Network International) the world’s largest business networking organization, a columnist for Entrepreneur.com, a keynote speaker, and a NY Times bestselling author of many books including the latest one “Who's in Your Room: The Secret to Creating Your Best Life”In “Who’s In Your Room”, Dr. Misner shares how the quality of your life greatly depends on the people who surround you: https://amz.run/4jTbAmrit and Dr. Ivan Misner, talk about the significance of working in your flame and not in your wax, the power of networking and the importance of having relationships in this dynamic world we live in.Dr. Ivan Misner states you need to work in your flame and not in your wax. This means, you must work hard on what you most love to do in your business to reach success. He strongly believes you can take steps in your journey toward truly loving what you do for a living. He started a management consulting business in 1983. At the end of 1984, he needed new business and had to find a way to engender more referrals. So he decided to create his own networking group with people he knew and trusted, and wanted to refer business to. This group integrated business with relationships under one core value of giving first. By the end of the year there were 20 groups and he needed to start a plan to scale. The organization now has over 10,000 chapters throughout the globe. And he keeps on doing what he most loves to do: helping others.Dr. Misner talks about core values as the fundamental beliefs and guiding principles that dictate behavior and help people better understand expectations within the organizational context. BNI’s core values start with Givers Gain, one of the best attitudes you can have to live your life. Embracing this philosophy of giving first will change your life and those around you. And when it changes enough lives, it will change the world. Genuine love towards one another. This is the kind of vision that people need to establish with whatever business they start. He elucidates that being a good receiver is vital. This ensures the philosophy works and leads to a life of infinite giving. You must accept it is alright to gain, if not you will find yourself out of resources, and the giving will stop. It is essential that the givers also gain what they need so that they can give over and over. In this way, infinite giving becomes a part of who you are in all you do. Giving first is fundamental. But, you cannot constantly give at your own expense. They dive deep into the importance of cultivating relationships and networking, and the VCP mindset and skill set to help you do so. It is important to cultivate long-term relationships and you need the proper mindset to do so. You must be visible and credible, and once they know who you are and are good at what you do, they will be willing to refer business to you. Networking up with people who are leagues beyond yourself in business depends on your authenticity and willingness to help them.Focusing on the other person and creating value to them can help forge long-term relationships.Building long-term relationships and having a network is extremely important for you to live a meaningful life and transition through this crazy world. The people in your network are going to be the ones that will help you in difficult times. “Your network is a beacon of hope in a sea of fear”You need a mindset to cultivate these relationships. First people have to know who you are and what you do. Secondly they must know you are good at it. If they know who you are and you are good at what you do, they will be willing to refer business to you. You can build relationships in developing referrals. If you want to network up and connect with people who are leagues beyond yourself in business, Dr. Ivan insists you must not sell to them, instead be authentic and ask how you can help them. Focusing on the other person and creating value to them can help forge long-term relationships.“If you are always the most successful in the room, you are hanging out in the wrong rooms. All rooms are ok, but you need to find somewhere you can network up”About Dr. Ivan Misner:Dr. Ivan Misner is the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of BNI, the world’s largest business networking organization. Founded in 1985 the organization now has over 10,000 chapters throughout every populated continent of the world. Each year, BNI passes millions of referrals resulting in billions of dollars worth of business for its members.Dr. Misner’s Ph.D. is from the University of Southern California. He is a New York Times Bestselling author who has written 26 books including one of his latest books, Who’s in Your Room? He is also a columnist for Entrepreneur.com and has been a university professor as well as a member of the Board of Trustees for the University

Ep 181IE181 Dr. Zach Bush: on Death, Dying, and Rebirth: Secrets to Graceful Life Transitions (Hospice, Death's Mysteries, and Rebirth)

In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Dr. Zach Bush, a triple board-certified physician in internal medicine, endocrinology and metabolism, and hospice care. Dr. Bush is an internationally recognized educator and thought leader on the microbiome as it relates to health, disease, and food systems and is the founder and director of The M Clinic, an integrative health center in Virginia, and founder Seraphic Group and the non-profit Farmer’s Footprint, both created to develop root-cause solutions for human and ecological health.Amrit and Dr. Zach dive deep into the human experience of life and death, three births and the importance of aligning with nature at all levels. They have a mind-blowing conversation about radical acceptance that will take you all the way to feeling completely and utterly accepted!Dr. Zach believes there are three births. Life is an incessant course of transitions. You are born, then turn into an adolescent and finally into an adult. Each transformation provides all the physical, mental, and emotional growth you need to survive. Death is just one of the transition points. It is the movement between this existence and the next.He is fascinated about nature and how it works. He goes way back to the origin of our own pure self; the first conception and the womb as a protected place where the embryo, with it’s own energetic centre of consciousness, can grow sheltered from the mother’s immune system, the world, and the traumas that humanity has gone through in its history. As soon as the child goes through the vaginal canal, the second conception and seeding takes place. The child inherits the entire microbiome of the mother. Microbiome is this vast ecosystem that is very much the soil that will nurture that life into existence. It is the foundation of human life, consciousness and health. The third birth is death. He talks about death in the most uplifting and beautiful way ever imagined. Death is not the end, and he learned this through his own experience way back in the ICU. In fact, this is when Dr. Zach decided to focus on nature and palliative care. He used to try to take control over life so death would not happen through technology and medicine. But, when he took the patients off life support mechanisms and let the family be with them and realized the most amazing exchanges of human intelligence and human consciousness would occur; he decided his medical approach had to change. We have become so separated from nature, that we see death as the end. But if you recognize it as a part of nature, it becomes a transition period between one form of existence and another. “Once we come to view all of life as a transition and understand we are here on Earth to transform, we can better appreciate the spiritual journey encompassing the natural processes of living and dying”Dr. Zach shares a sad, yet beautiful and uplifting story so you can expand your thoughts about death and radical acceptance. This is a story that happened back in the ICU. Zach brought two patients back from death. These patients didn't know each other, came from different backgrounds and had a different temper. One of them was fun and had lots of people come to visit him when he was hospitalized, the other was bitter and had just one person visit him the whole time he was in hospital. Yet both of them experienced the same feeling of absolute acceptance after death and neither of them wanted to be brought back. After death, the social guy who had always been accepted, felt even more acceptance, and the bitter guy said it was the first time he had ever been accepted.  Death is a transformation moment and an extension that goes beyond the limits of the body we carry. The moment we step out of this shell, we discover the universe. A Universe that embraces and completely accepts us by who we are. He states every soul on this planet is enough at every single point of their existence. “We should surrender what we think we know if we are going to realize our full potential before we die. We need to wake up. It could get really good around here”Furthermore they talk about the comfort in convenience of technology, the importance of farming as a collective, and his regenerative agricultural practices as a solution to the human and environmental impacts of chemicals. We have created and are in control of huge chemical farms which destroy soil, water systems, oceans, human and animal health, and everything on this planet. Zach believes we can transform this planet into a regenerative ecosystem as long as we work all together with mother nature. By doing this, he states farmers and consumers will witness richer soil and water, and an overflow of health. Dr. Zach Bush is on a mission. He wants to bring regenerative health to every living being. Industrial farming, chemical pesticides, the pharmaceutical industry and even errant Western medical practices have a tremendous impact on both hu

They dive deep into the journey of working on yourself to live a life of great achievement and deep fulfillment so you can take your career, business and life to the next level. Learn how to define your personal ethics and goals, how to reach them, and start a journey that will last a lifetime with “Are You Ready to Succeed?: Unconventional strategies for achieving personal mastery in business and in life” by Dr. Srikumar Rao.Dr. Rao believes you have to be focussed on the journey and not on the outcome. The purpose of setting a goal and achieving it, is to learn and grow as you level your best to achieve that goal. Once you understand that and get comfortable with it, you will find that you are applying it. When this happens, you stop focusing on the outcome. When you set a goal for yourself, you must take care of your actions. All your energy and attention must be on the actions and forget about the goal. Being consistent, objective, and when something doesn’t work out, switch on to something else. You learn through failure. And it is all a question of learning and growing, learning and growing. Learning and enjoying as much as you can all along the way. Dr. Srikumar comments that lots of people in his program want to find their purpose. You don’t find it, you create it, and you can start doing it wherever you are with what you have at hand. But he strongly affirms that whatever you do, has to make you happy. And this shouldn’t make you happy just for a moment, it should make you happy for weeks. When your heart sings for a long time, your life lightens up. You begin to enjoy the journey. You shine and vibrate, and your energy gets magnified. In this state of bliss not only can you be in service to many others but also attract the people who align with you.   With Dr. Rao’s approach to reach your goals, there is no way you will lose. If you don't reach your goal, you will have learned so many things in the process trying to reach them. And these things are extremely valuable to yourself. With a heart that sings, a mind at peace, and an accumulated pack of learnings, you will become who you truly are and be more resilient no matter what comes your way“When you don't worry about destination and enjoy the journey, you get to destination faster”Amrit and Dr. Rao, talk about the ethos of service and why it is a fundamental pillar to reach joy and fulfillment, and build a business. He believes in the desire of being in service to a better cause. When you give good customer service, it becomes the outward manifestation of the person you are. No matter what, your service must be good. It will make your customer like it, happier and feel comfortable. It will make the world a better place and it will enable you to continue working on yourself.Last, but not least, they talk about the mindset an entrepreneur must have on this spiritual journey, the daunting feeling of hiring the right person or not for your business and the best ways to shift our perception of the world to improve who we are.Every entrepreneur must think of “one more step” in times of failure. When everything doesn’t feel right and you are failing, taking just one more step will help you pull through. Dr. Rao refers to the book “Lone Survivor”, about Marcus Luttrell, the only member of a team of four who survived an operation in Afghanistan. When he was asked how he did so, he attributed it to the extremely tough “Hell Week Seal Training” and declared the only ones that survive this training are the ones that take one more step. Hiring the right person or not, shouldn’t be a daunting experience. Dr. Rao talks about the beautiful and amazing Universe, and all that it gives to us is for a good reason. The Universe gives us all that we need to be able to learn and grow on our journey. Whether the employee is the ri

Then got immersed into online digital marketing, traveled the world, went back to the United States for her masters and finally moved to L.A. to pursue a Ph.D. in Psychology focussed on Global Leadership and Change.Colleen had an unhealthy and toxic relationship with a guy which led her to compromise her soul. He provides customized longevity plans for his clients.Amrit and Oz talk about all that it takes to live a long and healthy life. In his early twenties, Oz used to live against his beliefs making his public view more important than his value system. He used to be a photographer who drank coffee several times a day, smoked cigarettes non stop and suffered from migraines which no doctors were able to cure. He knew something was wrong underneath the surface and began to explore new alternatives. He began to frequent one of the three available health stores at the time, where he discovered a whole new concept of functional eating and bought the book “The Miracle of Fasting by Paul Bragg”. Soon after reading it, he did his first fast. Concurrently, he took a course in the Landmark Form before known as EST training and began to get involved in several courses. He also took classes at the East West Center for Holistic Health, where he experimented with new alternative methods of health and healing. He slowly made the transition to a healthier lifestyle. He became a vegetarian for a number of years, started fasting, cut out coffee and cigarettes, and started running. Soon his migraines were gone too. At the age of twenty four, Oz embarked on a transformational journey that has brought him to where he is today. Ever since, he practices what he preaches and strongly believes that the driver of this transformational journey is all about being passionate, curious, creative and always wanting to know more. “I finally made a decision about what I wanted out of my life. I knew I didn't want to be in an artificial world”According to Garcia, lifestyle adjustments in what we eat, how we think and how we exercise are necessary as we get older. He says there are ways to slow the aging process and live well. Nutrition, exercise, meditation, sleep, food, and time outdoors are critical, but cultivating intelligence, thinking, passion, community, and our “self”, are equally as critical.Amrit and Oz dive deep into the importance of cultivating each one of these.Oz believes good thoughts overwhelms bad impulse, and once you understand that, then you can start making choices. Sometimes these choices are not the right ones, but you learn from them that helps you go further along the journey. In regards to cultivating thinking, you can regulate what you're thinking and what is worth suffering over or not. Destructive emotions result from errors of judgment. In regards to cultivating community, this is central to human experience. Having a sense of belonging unites us. Being a part of a community can help you connect with others, engage with others, and boost your physical and mental health. Oz supports this with the story of a lady who lived to be one hundred and six. We all need to cultivate a better life and it always begins with how we take care of ourselves.According to Garcia, to be able to cultivate our “self” we have the obligation, among many, to invent ourselves or reinvent ourselves in ways that leave our mind at peace to switch to a place of joy. Joy is peace in motion. He emphasizes on spending some time of the day thinking about what kind of a human being we want to be and journaling on a daily basis. He refers to the ”Five-minute Journal”, gratitude exercises that will help you sharpen your ability to focus on the good things in life, elevate yourself, be happier, improve relationships, and shift your mind to being positive. The more you do these practices, the more antifragile you become, therefore more authentic and more sincere. Oz shares some ways to regulate what is going on with your body and dives into how important it is to listen to people that have already mastered that space.“You have to earn your health, and discipline must be your shadow. Being disciplined comes with so many human rewards”In drawing things to a close, Amrit shares a beautiful proverb to the secret of living well and longer…“Eat half, walk double, laugh triple, and love without measure”Level up your life with unlimited access to every Mindvalley Quest Program (over 30+ programs). Ep 177IE177 Jonni Pollard: Vibrate Higher: Master Vedic Wisdom & The Golden Sequence Secrets

In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Jonni Pollard, a recognized meditation and wisdom teacher, speaker, author of “The Golden Sequence: A Manual for Reclaiming Our Humanity” and host of the 1Giant Podcast where he is interviewed by curious minds looking for insights on meditation and the wellbeing of our humanity.Get Jonni’s book here: https://inspiredevolution.com/recommends/jonni-pollard/He is the co-founder and executive director at 1 Giant Mind, a multi-national charitable organisation established to reduce stress related mental illness and lifestyle disease by delivering free digital meditation and education programs to those in need.Jonni believes that the actual global crisis we are all undergoing is ingrained in our disconnection from our true purpose and responsibility of belonging.Amrit and Jonni talk about the importance of rediscovering your authentic human nature, learning how to reclaim it as your greatest power, and finding fulfillment through seeing the change and impact you can make in the world. As far as Jonni can remember, he instinctively has been devoted to honouring his spirit. As a teenager he had a foundational perspective towards humanity which he wasn’t willing to let go of. It was hard to conform with things that had no meaning to him, so he would define himself in some other way that society was demanding, becoming rebellious and isolated in his own beliefs.Jonni had a deep desire to belong, but this non-acceptance was causing a deep pain in his heart. This eventually led him to India where he engaged in the teachings of some of the greatest masters. He received insight and support in the process of his revolutionary awakening.Jonni discovered who he truly was and embraced it, who we are as a species and our responsibility as individuals. He adopted the foundations of how to process every speck of information that could then render into knowledge and finally be embodied into wisdom. He came to realize that the whole sense of wholeness comes from the understanding that we belong to the greater whole and are intimately connected. That our humanity is expressed in some kind of framework that we all belong to. It is being aware of the needs of the greater whole and how we bring our individuality to serve that, elevate that, and ensure that it is stable and balanced.Ever since, he has been on this beautiful journey of self discovery. Now he teaches Vedic Meditation and is a teacher of the ancient Vedic wisdom. This knowledge is foundational to our existence and offers a completely inclusive perspective on everything that correlates with our yearning to unify with each other and all of nature.Jonni and Amrit dive deep into the system of creation, maintenance and dissolution that are paramount to nature and human existence and why so many of us are resistant to change.Whatever we have been maintaining for such a long time and is no longer relevant, gets relegated into a process of dissolution and dissolves. All that does not work is here for a reason. It is here so something new can evolve; a new creation. When we are so deeply traumatized by the environment that we have created, neurologically we become more resistant to change. The part of the brain that is capable of creating and innovating, gets shut down so it can face the danger ahead of us. Jonni refers to “trapped in a cycle of desperation and survival” when talking about this resistance. This means that we are always on the lookout and ready to either fight or flee for our lives, which makes us feel anxious,  worried, afraid and so much more. And the only way to guarantee safety and security is through the accumulation of things outside ourselves. Survival mode disconnects us from ourselves. Jonni shares practices to gain access to the place where wisdom lies deep within. He affirms you must introduce new habits to change the physiology of your nervous system and brain, referring to confronting past trauma and then coming to terms with your power. This can only happen if you are willing to first sit in discomfort and accept your negative thoughts and feelings. The purpose of this is to establish a habit of identifying the moment in which you find yourself in conflict, and revert it to a deeper state. The only way to access it is by cultivating it through meditation.Within each one of you is an unexplored power to create the change you dream of. This change benefits you as an individual and the community as a whole, allowing every single one of us to break through toxic beliefs and constraints.“There is nothing more elevated than being in the presence of someone who demonstrates your worthiness because that is the thing that awakens the human heart; It inspires the heart almost involuntarily to reciprocate.”“The world can only change through micro conscious activism where human hearts open, connect and share”About Jonni Pollard:Jonni Pollard is an internationally recognized meditation & wisdom te

Ep 176IE176 Dr. Patrick Gentempo: Philosopher in Business: Mastering Wellness & Entrepreneurial Success (Stand for Your Brand: Christ Revealed)

In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Dr. Patrick Gentempo, referred to as the “Philosopher-Entrepreneur”, chiropractor, a star in the world of health, wellness and business, international speaker and best-selling author of the book “Your Stand is Your Brand”. He is the founder and CEO of Action Potential Holdings, Inc. as well as the CEO of Revealed Films. "Everyone has a philosophy, the only question is whether they know it or not.”We all have philosophies we live by. We may have adopted those philosophies intentionally but, in many cases, they may simply be premises passed down to us by some family member, teacher, or preacher.  Whatever the case, the philosophies we live by drive our behaviors and, ultimately, dictate our outcomes, so it is important to identify what they are.Dr. Patrick Gentempo and Amrit dive deep into Patrick’s application of philosophy as a practical tool for human achievement and his successful book “Your Stand is Your Brand” on how deciding “who to be” will revolutionize not only your business but your life too. If you would like to have access to his book “Your Stand is Your Brand” to supercharge your growth in business, and in your personal life, please go to: https://inspiredevolution.com/recommends/patrick-gentempo/Patrick refers to three branches of five in philosophy - metaphysics, epistemology and ethics - when doing philosophical exploration. Metaphysics is your view of reality, epistemology is the theory of knowledge and ethics is the one that provides you with a code of values that will be a guide to your actions and drive you towards your purpose. Through philosophical explorations you can identify existing contradictions in your own life. If you identify your contradictions, you can solve them, and then surpass actual challenges and pass onto the next level becoming a better version of yourself. He refers to Ayn Rand when talking about contradictions. She stated that “contradictions” lead to destruction. When you have contradictions in your basic philosophical premises the only possible result is destruction and the amount of destruction is relevant to the level of that contradiction. They talk about the importance of taking a stand and never taking opportunities over values no matter how good an opportunity may look. When an opportunity is in conflict with your values, it is not good for you. Taking a stand is the most crucial thing you can do to become more successful than ever. Your stand must be based on our own philosophical premises, key values, and purpose, and they must be aligned. And if they are in sync, you will have the power to grow in your personal life and your business too.“When you take a stand, it means you understand what your values are. That takes a clarifying exercise to know which they are making sure you don't have any contradiction”In regards to starting a business, the whole idea of a business is giving it a soul; giving it a philosophy. That means knowing and clarifying its values, its purpose, its vision, all together becoming the heartbeat and the soul of the business. When you and everyone else operate in alignment with those values magic happens, but when you have contradictions your business begins to perish. In addition, there is an amazing conversation about finding your “Miles Davis” and the importance of creative destruction.Finding your “Miles Davis”, means going back, figuring out the pure state of you, understanding who this person is by identity and expressing it out to the world to the fullest, with all your passion and heart - “Miles Davis was known for being able to express the purest expression of your soul”Patrick discovered what it meant to find your “Miles Davis” back at Eleven Madison Park Restaurant, and uses “The Story of the Phoenix” as a metaphor for the concept of creative destruction. The owners of Eleven Madison Park Restaurant have their own values, recognize contradictions and resolve them, and continue to thrive by taking a stand every time they recognize them. Over a period of years, Eleven Madison Park was a Michelin three-star restaurant, but they took it a step further. They were voted the number one restaurant in the world. Shortly after receiving this amazing award, they closed the restaurant down in order to “burn it down” to start from scratch and reinvent themselves. Whatever comes next is, with no doubt, going to be explosive and financially successful. They were creatively destructive like the story of the phoenix. The phoenix is a mythical bird that dies in the fire and then emerges out of the ashes vibrant, youthful, and more beautiful than it was before. It repeats this cycle over and over again. Its death was tragic, because something beautiful was destroyed, yet out of that event arose something more beautiful, spiritual and powerful. This story applies to Eleven Madison Park, but can also apply to you or your business. It means finding your “Mi

Ep 175IE175 Dr. Tracy Kopp: The Urban Alchemist: Holistic Wellness & Transformation in the Heart of the City (The Urban Alchemist)

In this week’s episode, Amrit interviews Tracy Kopp, owner and director of The Urban Alchemist, a holistic health clinic with a team of over fifteen expert health and wellness practitioners providing wellbeing solutions for their clients’ mind, body and soul. Tracy, with so much courage and vulnerability, has come to share her story. She has reached a point in her journey where sharing what she has learned for the benefit of others feels an important part of her healing process.  Amrit and Tracy dive deep into an open and heartfelt conversation about the wounds that have been stuck in Tracy’s body and heart for so long, the healing process she is facing with amazing fortitude and the positive effects on her most loved ones. The ‘mother wound’ may be defined as a loss or a lack of mothering. This is typically a deficit in the mother-daughter relationships that is passed down through generations of women in patriarchal cultures, and it is a reflection on how we have experienced parenting and how we parent. In her early twenties, Tracy suffered from anxiety and depression. She looked to talk therapy for answers but couldn’t find her way out of feeling like a victim in her relationships. She blamed her mother for a great deal of her pain. Like many mother/daughter relationships, theirs was marked by emotional distance. Having never been shown how to manage her own feelings, Tracy’s mother had been unable to pass on this skill to her daughter. Tracy became a mother of a beautiful baby girl, Ivy, at just 21. Neither herself nor her partner had any idea of the responsibilities of parenthood. In Ivy’s early years, Tracy enjoyed motherhood and her child tremendously, but things began to get dark. She and her partner were constantly fighting. Ivy’s needs went unmet for long periods of time and when the family eventually broke down, Ivy suffered deep trauma as her parent’s feud escalated.  As a single mother carrying most of the load of caring for her daughter, Tracy was consumed by her own difficulties. She lacked the skills to control her own feelings of rage and despair, and acted abusively toward her daughter much of the time. She knew this was harmful for her daughter, but the struggle with her own demons left little room for learning patience or grace. Over time, Tracy saw the impact this cycle was having on her daughter. She wondered if the damage done was so great that their relationship might never be repaired. With a great deal of shame and fear, she decided it was time to have a look at what was going on inside herself. By turning within and facing what was hard to see, she began to recognize the harmful patterns inherent in her parenting and slowly break them.    Today Ivy and Tracy have reached a place of real care and love where there is true understanding of the other’s experience.  “I feel that she forgives me in a really meaningful way because she has seen how deep I will dig for her.” Tracy knows that her story is not unique and feels that by speaking openly about her journey, she may help others recognise that they, too, can make amends when they’ve hurt someone close. Tune In: Welcome Tracy Kopp to the Inspired Evolution!:(00:00:00)Impetus to reach the point of wanting to share something:(00:02:30)About a motherhood journey:(00:04:13)Some of the biggest things Tracy’s daughter has taught her about her:(00:06:23)About kids showing a mirror of integrity up to their parents:(00:07:21)What it was like raising a daughter on her own:(00:08:19)Noticing things were not working in the relationship with her daughter:(00:10:07)How do you fix an unhealthy relationship:(00:14:54)How is Tracy able to talk about it now without energetic charges around it:(00:15:44)What Tracy has had to own:(00:19:02)Rationalizing situations everyday reflected in Tracy’s own journey:(00:21:02)About identifying things, honouring them and treating them:(00:26:41)Vision for intergenerational healing:(00:30:14)More meaning to healing when it wasn't about Tracy anymore:(00:34:36)Why Tracy is willing to share now:(00:50:13)What is Tracy’s hope:(00:56:41)Tracy’s beautiful words to her daughter:(01:01:10)Tracy’s beautiful words to her mother:(01:02:41)Tracy as a child dropping into the episode, what would she see?:(01:05:08)Connect with Tracy Kopp:Website: https://www.theurbanalchemist.com.auLinkedin:https://www.linkedin.com/in/tracy-kopp-067612a1/ Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/theurbanalchemistInstagram:https://www.instagram.com/theurbanalchemist_Youtube Channel:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvRoFL_EwngSqp6WCeZLdJQ Join the Inspired Evolution Community:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/InspiredEvolution/    Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/InspiredEvo/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/InspiredEvolution/  Website: https://inspiredevolution.com/ Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/inspiredevolution.
