Load management they call it. It's the term for players getting paid to not do their job. That's right. Millions of dollars to sit on the bench and just take a break. Rest. What a crock of crap that is. Fans come to see healthy players do what they're supposed to do and that is play hard and win. So Mark Cuban makes a decision against the NBA ruling to play the national anthem. Really Mark? Business is that good that you want to alienate a portion of your fan base? You may be worth billions, (yes, billions folks) but the average Mavericks fan is in a whole lot different position than you. And you choose to thumb your nose at the national anthem in spite of what the league expects. If I'm not mistaken, you are a franchisee and if the league expects franchisees play the national anthem, you likely had best play it. It's not your decision to make. Right now, the social media space is heating up with all the talk about Todd Bowles being a head coach. Why is it that when a team gets into the Superbowl, the coordinators, offesive, defensive, are then almost expected to be ready to be head coaches somewhere? Isn't it about that quality of coaching that person brings to the table and then demonstrates in an interview? Enough about it already.
