The raiders were embarrassed by the saints yesterday as they were shut out 24-0. I know a lot of people want to blame first year head coach Josh McDaniels and he certainly has earned it, but I have a different take. I blame the owner mark Davis/ He had a good thing going last year when interim coach Rich Bisaccia led the raiders to the playoffs. If aint broke dont fix it! Another game and another loss for the Sacramento Kings. That's 4 straight to open the season. No worries though, Mike Brown is a defensive coach, and the Kings work on D every day in practice. Keegan Murray of the Kings will make his first NBA start tonight against Memphis. That's fine and dandy, but if the other players don't pick up their game it won't matter. The Yankees have a big decision to make regarding Aaron Judge. He will 31 in April and obviously is in high demand. He embodies everything you want in a Yankee but has a post season average of .211 in 44 playoff games. Personally, I wouldn't give him a HUGE deal over a long period of time. Yes, he puts people in the ballpark, but the Yanks are about winning titles. If you pay Judge a ton of money, how are you going to fix the other needs on the club? The Sacramento Kings have lost their first three games and many of the fans are already jumping off the ship. There are 79 games remaining, correct? I guess that is either good, or bad! The Kings are off to an 0- 3 start. Once again all we hear about is defense, defense and defense and then the game starts and there is no defense. Last night they allowed 89 points in the first half and lost 130-125 to the Warriors. The talent appears to be better than on last year's team, but the results are the same! Let me get this straight. The Yankees just lost two games in Houston and struck out 30 times. After last night's loss Yankee skipper Aaron Boone said the open rook killed them on Aaron Judge's fly ball in the 8th. Really? We lost a great man yesterday. NBA referee Tony Brown's incredible battle with cancer ended at the age of 55. I got to know Tony pretty well and have been in contact with him as he fought this nasty battle with pancreatic cancer. I share some texts that I had with Tony and officiating in general. Another day, another embarrassment for the NFL. This time it was on Monday Night football when referee Carl Cheffers penalized the Chiefs Chris Jones for his sack and fumble recovery on Derek Carr. Ater the game, Cheffers said he was following the rule book. Translation: that is how the league wants us to call roughing the passer. How about some common sense? The league needs to make all roughing the passer flags automatically reviewed beginning for Thursday's game. The league cannot continue to allow what happened last night to continue! On today's show I discuss what a week it's been for dialogue regarding "All Lives Matter". On Tuesday's show I read some tweets from Zuby regarding this topic which I found amazing. That night on Fox News, Joe Concha was on the Sean Hannity Show and talked about what happened to me in June 2020. Then yesterday Tucker Carlson of Fox News interviewed Ye West and Ye discussed why he wore shirts with the phrase "White Lives Matter" on them a few days ago in Paris. So, in a span of a few days we have had a lot of talk about this topic. I ask this question....Why should political affiliation have any bearing on the phrase "All Lives Matter"? There was a fight at the Warriors practice yesterday first reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic. According to Shams, Draymond Green punched teammate Jordan Poole after a heated argument. Poole was ok and finished his workout. Reports say the Warriors are thinking about punishing Green for his actions. That's good to know since they did nothing this past off season when Green called ESPN host Kendrick Perkins a racial slur. It should be interesting to see how the "new media" will handle this story! What a difference a week makes. Last week the 49ers lost at Denver...fans were all over QB Jimmy Garoppolo. Two nights ago, the Niners destroyed the Rams and are in good shape with Carolina and Atlanta coming up the next two weeks.
