After watching the first two days of the NFL Playoffs, I am still amazed at the lack of awareness by many on the field and on the sidelines. Take Miami for example...4th and 1 and you don't even come close to getting the ball snapped before the play clock expired? How does that happen? The NFL announced the AFC Title game will be in Atlanta if the two teams are Buffalo and Kansas City. Why? Why take two cold weather teams and move them indoors? Play in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or Chicago. I don't like this. On today's episode I break down the AFC games this weekend beginning with Jacksonville hosting the Chargers. Although the two quarterbacks, Justin Herbert and Trevor Lawrence are getting most of the coverage, both defenses have been playing excellent football the past 5 weeks. Baltimore will take on Cincinnati without QB Lamar Jackson. The question is will the Ravens score enough to stay with Joe Burrow and the Bengals? Weather forecast is very good for the game. The Kings beat the Rockets last night 135-115. They were down one entering the 4th, but outscored the Rockets 41-20 in the final quarter. The NFL Playoffs begin this weekend and on today's show I preview the three games beginning with Seattle at San Francisco. I don't see how Seattle wins this game. The 49ers are just better on both sides of the ball. Sunday the Vikings host the Giants. These teams met on Christmas Eve and the Vikings won 27-24 on a 61yard FG with no time on the clock. If the game is close the Vikings will most likely win. This game should once again be close, but I think the Vikings prevail in a tight game. Monday night the Bucs host the Cowboys. Men against boys in college football last night. Georgia embarrassed TCU 65-7 to won back-to-back titles. That was an awful night for college football after the two great semi-final games last week. Damar Hamlin of the Bills continues to make good progress after collapsing on the field in Cincinnati Monday night, but the same can be said of many members of the media. On today's episode I talk about some of the hypocrisies including reading an excerpt from Phil Mushnick's column in the NY Post. Mushnick writes the truth and to me it so refreshing. I also talk about the onslaught that still is being directed at FS1's Skip Bayless. Bayless has been under attack since posting a tweet during while Hamlin was being attended to by medical personnel on the field. As I release this episode, I still don't know the updated status on Damar Hamlin of the Bills who was critically injured in last night's game vs the Bengals. On this episode I talk about the world of social media during a crisis and how ridiculous some people can be. The NFL also received a lot of blame, which I feel unfair. Denver was playing their third game in four nights and were down two starters. The Kings gave up 75 points in the first half and stole the game at the end. The Kings got a taste of life without injured Domantas Sabonis last night. He missed the game against Denver with a thumb injury and the result was a seven point loss. It was not a good week for the Kings leading up to the Xmas weekend. Two losses to the worst two teams in the East and Domantas Sabonis injuring his thumb late 4th vs Washington put a damper on things to say the least. Why was Sabonis even on the floor late in the Wizards game? Makes no sense. Now the schedule is tough the next five games beginning tomorrow vs the Nuggets.
