Fenella Langridge is an absolute comedian on her social media. Bringing a whole new energy to triathlon, Haley, and Alyssa invite Fenella onto the show to discuss her outlook on the sport - and of course, her recent races. Coming in 8th at the world championships in St. George, and 2nd at Challenge Roth - Fenella in undeniably making a name for herself in the Pro Women's field. After a DNF at the PTO Canadian Open in July, and unfortunately, another at the recent PTO US Open, Fenella is suspecting long covid as the culprit. We are wishing Fenella a fast recovery and hoping that long covid doesn't last too long, and she can have a great race in Kona. Living in Phuket, Thailand for the majority of the year, Dimity is no stranger to the heat - which will come in handy in Hawaii. Living abroad during the pandemic, Dimity ran into many covid related issues. Amy VanTassel is the QUEEN of racing. 'Back-to-back Ironmans, mix a gravel race in between' kind of racing. This week, Haley and Alyssa talk to Amy VanTassel about her love of racing and how she keeps up the pace. Amy is a professional athlete well known for her win at Ultraman Israel. Racing both Ultramans and Ironmans, Amy tells us how she juggles the differences between these two races and manages to train for both. According to Kate Veronneau, the energy during the Tour de France Femmes Avec Zwift was "overwhelming and palpable". People lined the streets of France to cheer on the women's peloton racing for the first time in 38 years. This week, Haley and Alyssa welcome Kate Veronneau to discuss all things Tour de France Femmes, and all things Zwift. Kate is the Director of Women's Strategy at Zwift, and was one of the leading "brains" behind this year's women's peloton.
