Ep 254Are We in the Disney Dark Age?
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Our news this week is our main topic because it’s a shocker. Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is closing. That’s right, this cutting-edge, not-even-toddler-age endeavor will stop “taking flight” come September. This week, we share our feelings about this. We also speculate why we think it happened, and contemplate the direction of the Disney company as a whole. We also share what we think Disney’s going to do with the Starcruiser after it closes. In a moment of levity, Joe posits more accounting questions than most (or at least Angela) would care to know, and for you the valued listener, she steps in to prevent any sort of boredom-related sleep issues that could arise from too much money talk. As always, thank you so much for listening! Have a magical week! Submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode. Ep 253Keep, Update or Replace: EPCOT
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Exciting Disney News! Park reservations are gone starting January 9th, 2024 (sort of)! Food and Wine Festival Eat to the Beat acts were announced. This week we play Keep, Update, Replace: EPCOT. What should Disney do with some of EPCOT’s hottest rides like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure as well as some older, but beloved rides like Spaceship Earth. And is customizable rides in Disney’s future? Plus, Joe begs people to unsubscribe based on their stance on of Living with the Land. As always, thank you so much for listening! Have a magical week! Ep 252Why is the MCU Struggling?
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3 just came out at the end of last week, and this week we need to talk about it. This podcast sits somewhere between a movie review (we have some big thoughts on the story and realism of the issues discussed in the movie) and a discussion of Marvel at large and where they’re headed. At this point, it seems as though they’ve lost their way in the Galaxy a bit, not that the movie is bad because it’s not. But, they also don’t seem to have the clarity they once had during the Infinity Saga. Where are they going with all of this? Why are people getting a bit tired of these movies? Where should they go from here? And how can they see themselves out of these awkward teenage years? As always, thank you so much for listening! Have a magical week! Ep 251The Best Places to Eat in Disneyland
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Walt Disney announced a big fitness initiative. We’re most excited about the new pickleball courts! Plus, is Disney developing an Encanto musical for Broadway? Food is important. As Disney World people, we're constantly trying new restaurants and returning to old favorites. But what about Disneyland? What are the best and most highly-rated places to take a load off and enjoy a nice treat or meal? During today's episode, we take a deep dive into the world of Disneyland food and end up with some unexpected questions. Like why does Disneyland seem so reasonably priced or should Disney just serve Dole Whip at every restaurant to boost guest ratings? So join us on this culinary adventure as we undercover everything from the best places to eat on Main Street to where the ideal spot to unwind with a cocktail in hand is at in DCA to the character dining we would rather order off of the kid’s menu. Ep 250Our Top Disney Core Memories
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Animal Kingdom turned 25 this past weekend! It’s wild to think that in our very first episode ever, we commemorated the 20th anniversary! 350 cabins at Fort Wilderness are getting replaced by more modern cabins and the restaurant, and potentially getting a new restaurant, since Trail’s End Restaurant is closed. And the Maleficent dragon at Disneyland caught fire during a show last week, which forced them to shut down the Fantasmic show for audience safety. It’s our 250th episode extravaganza, and because of that, we’re going Inside Out to talk about our Top Disney Core Memories. We cover our trips to international parks, the many Adventures we’ve had, and the friends we’ve made along the way. Also, Angela reacts to the fact that Joe’s #1 Disney memory is sans her. Can you believe that!? (It’s a pretty good memory though.) Thank you to all of the listeners who have supported us throughout these five years! It’s been so great to have you along for the ride! As always, thank you so much for listening! Have a magical week! Submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode. Ep 249Keep, Update or Replace: Hollywood Studios
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. A few additional things came out of the Star Wars Celebration that give us the feels. A Gaya album will be dropping on May 4th. On the not-so-great news front, The Bad Batch will get a third and final season next year. We did Animal Kingdom and had so much fun, we decided to play Keep, Update, Replace: Hollywood Studios. We assess some of the most popular and, let’s face it, unpopular rides in the park. And we even got your opinion on the matter using a poll on our Instagram @enchantedearspodcast. What should be done with Muppet Vision 3D, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, Slinky Dog Dash, Rise of the Resistance, Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Millennium Falcon Smuggler’s Run, and the Frozen Sing Along Celebration? We think some pretty big changes need to occur to revive the tributes to movie magic while also teaching the next generation what amazing possibilities exist with a little spark…of inspiration. Some other big changes, in the form of locking restraints, might be needed if Frozen gets Angela’s suggested update to keep Joe from charging the stage to meet a Disney (and cultural) icon. As always, thank you so much for listening! Have a magical week! Submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode. Ep 248The Craziest History Made at Disney Parks
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. There was a lot of news this week! Star Wars Celebration was going on in London this past week. At it, new movies were said to be in the works including one tying up the Mandoverse. Plus, a live action Moana is in the works as announced by The Rock. We’re very interested to see what direction this takes, as it’s super early in the process. Disney’s so woven into the fabric of our culture and society, it’s not at all surprising that some pretty amazing things have happened on their hallowed ground. Did you know Doritos were invented at Disneyland? Or that Disneyland had a Wizard of Bras? Or that the Beatles broke up at the Polynesian? Or that Elton John wrote Rocket Man while riding the Astro Obiter? OK, maybe one of those didn’t happen, but three of them totally did. This week, we cover these absolutely wild stories plus the one world record set at a Disney Park that we think we could break. As always, thank you so much for listening! Have a magical week! Ep 247Keep, Update or Replace: Animal Kingdom
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. The Aristocats live action movie was announced with Quest Love directing and doing music for it. Also, the first round of layoffs at the Disney Company are happening. Some of the big cuts are in the divisions dealing with Bob Chapek’s focuses: Meta verse and Disney Prime. Sometimes in life, one has to make the hard decision to get rid of things that you no longer want or need, to maybe repair what's broken, and to keep things that spark joy exactly as they are. What if we applied this decisive Marie Kondo-esque philosophy to the Disney World parks? What would we keep, update, and replace in Animal Kingdom? This week, we tackle this difficult question when it comes to some of Animal Kingdom's biggest (and smallest) attractions including Flight of Passage, Dinosaur, Expedition Everest, and Joe's favorite, Feathered Friends in Flight. Also, Angela has ideas about just who could repair the Yeti. It's definitely NOT Bob Iger wearing jean overalls like the long-lost Super Mario Brother. Nonetheless, fan art of that would be appreciated - which you can send to @enchantedearspodcast on Instagram. As always, thank you so much for listening! Have a magical week! Ep 246The Best Places to Stay at Walt Disney World
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. There’s a new tour in town at Disneyland. A tour with Disney history, plus a chat with an animator, plus a commemorative pin? Mickey, take our money now! And rumor has it that Galaxy’s Edge has been canceled at Disneyland Paris and a Lion King themed land complete with a water ride will go in its place. Angela is obviously pessimistically optimistic about this rumor and will be holding her breath until the rumored announcement date in April, at which point she will need to be revived and given the news. With more than 25 Disney World Resort hotels, it can be overwhelming trying to decide where to stay on your next trip. What’s your budget? How about what park you plan to spend the most time in? What amenities are important to you? There’s are a just a few questions that can come into play when deciding which hotel is best. This week we’ve decided to simplify the process by giving you our top hotel picks. We tackle the best options based on price, location and how much time you plan to spend in your room vs. the theme parks. We did so much research, we even learned something new! So if that doesn’t hook you, we don’t know what will! As always, thank you so much for listening! Have a magical week! Submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode. Ep 245Remembering Rolly Crump
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. With Tron opening April 4th and running soft openings now, the new Tron merch is out, and it looks pretty awesome! Also, this week Disney announced a bunch of new character-based interactions coming this year. Moana will be on the Floatillas in Animal Kingdom starting April 22. Mirabel will debut in the fall at Fairytail Garden in the Magic Kingdom. And Figment will appear at Imagination Pavillion later this year! Legacy? What is a legacy? With the passing of famous Imagineer and Disney Legend, Rolly Crump, this past week, we wanted to zoom in on the man and really talk about his life and what he's left behind. It takes a special person to recognize their strengths, elevate others, and think outside the box, and that's exactly the type of person Rolly Crump was. From all accounts, he helped others actualize their potential, was revered by Walt, and he is responsible for some of the most iconic designs in Disneyland and Disney World. Crump worked on It's a Small World, The Enchanted Tiki Room, and Haunted Mansion along with countless other projects both in the Disney Parks and beyond. It was a pleasure to learn about the life and contributions of this amazing man, and we think you're going to enjoy it, too! As always, thank you so much for listening! Have a magical week! Ep 244Dopey Challenge Dos and Don’ts
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. This week in Disney news we discuss what the recent cuts to the Galactic Starcuiser’s schedule could mean to it’s future and get totally sidetracked by the Philadelphia Flyers mascot while discussing some epic Daredevil: Born Again casting. Plus, you’ll soon be able to get a Dole Whip anytime you want. Some people may call it stupid to wake up at 2:45 am for 4 days in a row to run 46.6 miles, but Disney calls it Dopey. And with Marathon Weekend sign-ups fast-approaching, your 3rd and 10th favorite podcast hosts (we all know which of us is your number 3) compiled a lists of Dopey training Dos and Don'ts that you can use to determine if you want to run and what to do to once you inevitably decide to follow Master Yoda's advice, "Do or do not, there is no try." Your training program, race meals, and attitude along with a lot of other factors will determine how good of an experience you have. But some things will definitely hold you back like eating foods your stomach doesn't digest well (hello Port-o-potty) and thinking that one missed run will ruin your whole training program. Plus, take it from us, if you run with a prop, you better try it out or you'll probably be forced to litter in front of the Castle. Oops! As always, thank you so much for listening! Ep 243Disney World for Less: 10 Ways to Save on Your Next Trip
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Before we jump into the main topic, it’s time for a little Disney News! If you haven’t seen the Encanto and Tiana topiaries, you need to and when better to see them than EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival that goes on from March 1-July 5? The new Haunted Mansion trailer is out and it looks amazing (and a bit scary)! We can’t wait to see where they take the story, but if it’s anywhere as near as all the Haunted Mansion nods, it’s going to be great! Going to Disney is such an amazing experience that almost everyone wants to do again and again. But, being the leading theme park in the world also means Disney can and needs to charge high prices for the experience. This week, we give our 10 best tips and tricks to saving money on your Disney World trip. We cover everything from how to save on food to finding the cheapest hotel to how to keep your merch hauls from breaking your bank. Also, we reveal how it may actually be more fiscally responsible to stay an extra day verses purchasing Genie+! Ep 242100 Years of Magic: The Disney 100 Exhibition
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Before we jump into the main topic, it’s time for a little Disney News! Disney dropped the ultra-modern concept art for villas over at the Disneyland Hotel. They look so sleek…almost too sleek. Rogers the Musical is coming to the Hyperion Theater in Disneyland. We’re hopeful that means it’s in the pipeline to be a full-blown musical in a few years. We went to the Disney 100 The Exhibition grand opening at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, so we figured this week we’d give you the rundown of what’s in it and our experience. Journey through the various galleries with us and hear what Disney memorabilia is contained within the exhibition. Hear our highlights, which includes the the original Matterhorn ride vehicle, the Nautilus used in Disney’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and Porgs so real you’ll want to sneak them into a natural history museum. On top of all that, the exhibition has an incredible music gallery that allows you to hear Disney’s top animated hit songs from Moana, Encanto, and Frozen translated and performed into various languages! We also share the best times to visit the exhibit and our interesting experience being recorded for use across all space and time in perpetuity. As always, thank you so much for listening! Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Before we jump into the main topic, it’s time for a little Disney News! Reservations for Hollywood Studios newest restaurant open up on February 21. Plus, Disney released footage of the upcoming World of Frozen expansion at Hong Kong Disneyland and we are absolutely IN LOVE with the updated Elsa animatronic. In our main segment, we cover our picks for the must do attractions and Magic Kingdom, plus the ones you can totally skip! Basically we end up gushing about how much we love Haunted Mansion (I mean who doesn’t?!?) and then Joe makes some picks that may lose us a few listeners. Also a big shout out to the Happiest Hour on Earth podcast, the Market House podcast and Abby @disneyadventuretime for adding their picks to this week’s episode. Ep 240Date Night Ideas at Disney World
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Before we jump into the main topic, it’s time for a little Disney News! The big news this week came out of the Disney’s investor call. They will be restructuring the company into 3 divisions. With that, they’ll be cutting 7,000 jobs. And then surprising news of 3 sequels dropped including the one we predicted all the way back when the D23 Expo happened: Frozen 3. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, we started to ponder, “What would a date in Disney World look like?”. This week we answer that very question. Where can you go with your partner, what can you do, and even what can you wear to have the most romantic date? And we answer the nagging question, “Which Disney World park is the most romantic?”. Then we wrap it all up with what would be the nicest full-day date we could think of. Looking to plan a Disney trip this year? Reach out to Becky at Castle Dreams Travel ([email protected]) and let her know Enchanted Ears sent you! As always, thank you so much for listening! Ep 239What Disney Can Learn from Universal
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Before we jump into the main topic, it’s time for a little Disney News! The ride concept for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is out, and it’s an interesting one. After the success of Tiana’s Palace, Tiana’s now set her sights on helping the community by starting a community-owned food co-op of sorts inside an old salt mine. Also, over in Universal, a few weeks ago, Universal announced they’ll be building two new experiences/parks in other locations in the U.S., one in Texas, the other in Las Vegas. As Disney people, we don’t always hop on over to Universal Studios, but on our latest Disney trip, we decided to pay Universal a visit. We learned quite a bit from the trip and really got a chance to see with new eyes exactly where Universal thrives and Disney could up their game a little. So this week, we talk about some of the things we really loved about Universal that Disney could learn from (and maybe a few things we weren’t so much a fan of). We also discuss the future of Universal and how that will absolutely have a direct impact on Disney, especially if Disney doesn’t prepare themselves for it. As always, thank you so much for listening! Don’t forget to check us out on Instagram, Facebook and Youtube or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode or support us on Patreon. Have a magical week!
Ep 238100 Years of Magic
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Before we jump into the main topic, it’s time for a little Disney News! The opening date for Rodeo Roundup BBQ in Toy Story Land is March 23. Disneyland’s Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway opened last week. As per the usual, Disneyland got an upgraded version of the ride with a few small additional scenes and incredible queue theming. In the latest installment of “Bob Iger thinks the parks are too pricey,” the price of Savvi’s Lightsabers and droids have been decreased. We love how he’s making the parks more affordable and wonder why this isn’t in the news more. Finally, Disney has patented head-mounted camera display for costumed characters. The invention will give cast members better visibility out of their costumes. It’s officially the Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary celebration, so this week we’re talking about what we see as the company’s highlights over the past 100 years. We discuss what failures led to the thriving Disney company we know today, how Walt’s loss of Oswald gave rise to Mickey, the innovations made by the company in order to improve entertainment as we know it, the contributions of Eisner and Iger, and how Disney’s changed our culture and the world. It’s an absolutely bananas 100 years. Here’s to 100+ more! As always, thank you so much for listening! Don’t forget to check us out on Instagram, Facebook and Youtube or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode or support us on Patreon. Have a magical week!
Ep 237Dopey Challenge Trip Recap
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Before we jump into the main topic, it’s time for a little Disney News! Disney’s 100th Anniversary food has been revealed and as usual, it looks pretty good. But the big story is the poison apple mug and the Mickey Mouse sipper. The new Donald Duck Restaurant in Shanghai has opened and features the cutest duck in all the lands. Lastly, when Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway opens in Disneyland, you’ll have to join a virtual queue to ride like most other new attractions in the Disney parks. This week we give our trip recap of Marathon Weekend. We discuss crowds, what we did (ate a lot) and didn’t do (ride a lot), how the races worked, the highlights of both running and spectating the races, and the Dopey Challenge. We had a total blast and put pretty much no pressure on ourselves to do much of anything besides run, eat, and enjoy ourselves which made for a delightful trip. As always, thank you so much for listening! Don’t forget to check us out on Instagram, Facebook and Youtube or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode or support us on Patreon. Ep 236Major Theme Park News
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. This week there was so much news, we decided to make it the full episode. Tune in next week for our full recap of our Disney trip and the Dopey Challenge. The Disney Dining Plan has been nonexistent since pandemic, but now Disney is offering some dining promotions up to $750 at no extra cost. We know “Happily Ever After” was coming back, but now we have a date! April 3 is the day! Epcot Forever will also be returning April 3. But possibly the biggest news is that the barges are going bye bye! Speaking of Disney shows, “Avengers: Power the Night” drone show will be running in Parisian on the Tower of Terror for their 30th anniversary grand finale from January 28 through May 8. This show will feature 500 drones making iconic items from he MCU like Cap’s shield, Ironman’s repulsers, and Dr. Strange’s sling ring. In a strange turn of events…Disney is cutting costs for guests. Yes, you read it correctly. Over in Disney World, there will be complimentary parking at hotels, relaxed passholder reservations after 2, and Genie+ will include attraction photos. For the 100th anniversary, Disneyland in California will allow park hopping at 11 and free attraction photos starting February 4th. They will also offer two months’ worth of $104 days. And in the last piece of Disney news for now, Reedy Creek changed the land usage plan, which will allow them to create space for another theme park, if they’d like. We speculate on what this might mean. As always, thank you so much for listening! Ep 235Predictions for 2023
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Before we jump into the main topic, it’s time for a little Disney News! Since we’re still coming down from our races, we’re recording early and only have this one, very excellent, piece of very appropriate news: RunDisney’s returning to Disneyland in 2024!! You best believe we’ll be there! This week, we make predictions about what 2023 is going to bring for the Walt Disney Company. Will there be new park/ride announcements? Will Bob Iger really be done at the end of his 2 year contract? Will Pixar finally get their movies back into the theaters? Only time will tell, but we rubbed our crystal ball and think we know the answers to all that and more! As always, thank you so much for listening! Ep 233Disney World Must Do, Should Do or Skip
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Before we jump into the main topic, it’s time for a little Disney News! Genie+ is seeing some changes. Now you can modify your ride selections and times if you want instead of being boxed in to your initial selections. Also, Disneyland After Dark is back. Sweethearts Night and Princess Night will be running on select dates from 9pm until 1 am. The various activities sound so fun, especially the balls they’ll be hosting! This week we hop from park to park and select which rides are a must, should, and skip. Of course, our picks are highly personal, and we (comically) don’t even agree with each other. But hey, our differences are what make us unique and don’t at all ever cause arguments. Lol As always, thank you so much for listening! Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Before we jump into the main topic, it’s time for a little Disney News! It’s designed to be synced up to the movie to give you a peek behind the scenes of many of the facets of being a director of one of the best Disney live-action movies of all time! Good journey! Our second one will be a deeper dive into our experience. So enjoy this spoiler-free episode and if you’re curious, you can listen to the second episode later this week that’s rife with spoilers! Ep 230Bob Iger’s CEO Again. Now What?
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. This week it’s all news. We’re not going to beat around the bush. Chapek is out as CEO. Iger is back in. What does this mean for the company!? According to some reports, in last earnings call streaming lost more than anticipated and the parks didn’t make as much as expected, but Chapek didn’t act like there was much wrong. Is that what triggered the end? We also talk about Iger’s rereorganization of the company, how we think the change will impact the psyche of Pixar, and the impact on the 100th and movies in general. Lastly, Iger won’t be back forever, so who will be his new pick as his replacement? We speculate about the choices. As always, thank you so much for listening! We’ve talked about it briefly before, but it’s finally time to fully dedicate an episode to the 1964-1965 World’s Fair. Or Not-World Fair as you’ll come to find out. And lastly, is it possible that Disney will basically get their own Amazon Prime-like service? The talk around town says yes. They’ve mentioned QR codes during Disney+ shows and exclusive merch, but is this something people really want? It’s been a while, so this week we resurrect one of our staples shows, “You can only pick one.” This time we do “Paris Edition” choosing between different rides, shows, versions of the same ride in different parks, and merch. These are always so hard, but we always enjoy how they force us to be critical of things we typically wouldn’t be critical of. Especially when you have three great and unique shows that can only be seen in Paris. Do you agree with our picks? As always, thank you so much for listening! Ep 216Adventures by Disney Portugal Trip Recap
Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Before we tell you all about our Adventures by Disney trip to Portugal, it’s time for a little Disney News! While we were gone, a lot has happened. San Diego Comic Con for one, which had a few major announcements. The biggest of these was that Daredevil will be getting an 18 episode first season on Disney+. The biggest absence of an announcement though was regarding phase 6 of the MCU, which we assume will be reserved for D23. Tokyo DisneySea debuted its new night show “Believe! Sea of Dreams” which replaced Phantasmic and features projection mapping on the Hotel MiraCosta. Disney also had its earnings call. The parks are making money, but the streaming services are losing money. During the call, we learned that on December 8th, Disney+ will increase its cost $3 if you want to continue to watch your content ad free or you can continue to pay $7.99 but will have to watch with ads. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party stared on August 12. New this year is a Max Goof wearing a Powerline costume. Phew! That was a lot of news! Okay, we’re ready to dig in to our Adventures by Disney trip to Portugal. Adventures by Disney is essentially group travel with a pre-set itinerary and the Disney-level of service. The Portugal trip begins in Porto, then moves to the capital city of Lisbon and finishes up in the Algarve. In this podcast, we discuss our favorite parts of the trip, our least favorite parts of the trip, the value of having the guides vs booking it yourselves, and give you a step by step of the experience. Then we candidly tell you whether or not we think it was worth it. When doing a trip like this, it’s easiest to book through a travel agent since there are a lot of little things you need to do ahead of time. We always book through Becky Ginther at Castle Dreams Travel. Check her out at [email protected]. As always, thank you so much for listening! Don’t forget to check us out on Facebook and Youtube or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode or support us on Patreon. Have a magical week!

Saddle up because this week we interview the wonderful Dr. Dan! This week, Dr. Dan answers all of our burning animal questions like “What kind of challenges or opportunities arise from working at a zoo that is also a theme park,” “What’s your funniest experience at work” and “How did you get to work at Disney?” Everyone, this one is the bees’ knees. We HIGHLY recommend listening to it with kids or really anyone who needs a little motivation because Dr. Dan is an absolute delight with his insightfulness and positivity. Also, share it with your animal-loving friends. As always, thank you so much for listening! Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Where else can you “drink in” (thank you Jeff Goldblum for that lovely turn of phrase) the amazing atmosphere of Main Street, take a few more steps and be at the foot of a castle, and visit three famous mountains!? This amazing place definitely has a way of Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Booing itself right into your heart, making you want to come back again and again! As always, thank you so much for listening! Rumor has it that Disney is considering an afternoon entry for annual pass holders. And in EPCOT, there’s a new Beauty and the Beast show on Spaceship Earth for Food and Wine Festival. This week, we’re talking about one of the biggest Disney movie flops of all time: John Carter. Based on a 1912 serialized story turned book, the 2012 sci-fi movie was plagued with difficulty since its inception. We give a lot of this history, discuss its source material, and then finally, give our opinions on the movie. Why did it fail? We think there’s too many reasons to name here, so you’ll just have to listen to find out! As always, thank you so much for listening! During this month, they’re offering a special opportunity to DVC members to do a cocktail/dessert party with viewing for fireworks for around $55. This week, we will talk about Riverfront Square: the park that never was. We discuss what the park would have included and why it was never built. As always, thank you so much for listening!
