By optimizing nutrition and creating a healthy relationship with food, Jennie's clients are able to focus on their practices and still have enough energy to enjoy life outside of medicine. Jill Mongenen is a registered dietitian, former tax accountant, a run coach and metabolic specialist. Jill became a dietitian at age forty eight after helping her husband who was a thirty four year old widebody international commercial airline pilot, with his celiac disease, high blood pressure and prediabetes. Jill went directly from her internship into private practice as a former tax accountant, she spent over 10 years behind a desk with no vacations and fielding thousands of tax returns with little human contact. Funny that during her dietetic program, a professor told her she would never get an internship if she did not have clinical experience. With over 15 years of experience working with commercial and cargo airline pilots, she was able to help improve their health for more successful results on the Federal Aviation Administration medical certified certificate exam. Zoe says, “So as a social worker, the clients that I've seen with binge eating disorder are some of the smartest, most resilient people that I probably ever worked with. These are actually really, really determined, good people. But the problem is, is that society just sees the bingeing, right. They don't see these long periods of restriction. They don't see these clients desperately trying to have a good relationship with food and understand what's going on.” “I do a small group coaching, so creating a space for my clients to be around other people who also have ADHD and they maybe have never been in a group of people who also have ADHD. Providing a non-judgmental space for a lot of clients is huge because they've never been able to do that before. And I think that really helps with the healing process.” Becca Guest Resources: Connect with Becca on Instagram: @ADHD.nutritionist Connect with Zoe on Instagram:@BingeRecoveryTherapist Free Resources from Libby: Are you ready to start your journey?
