One of house’s most sought-after selectors, the prolific Darius Syrossian returns to Defected alongside US vocalist Jena for ‘E-Soul’. Growing up in the UK, the revered DJ and producer made a name for himself playing the country's most respected clubs, and in recent years his blossoming relationship with UK label Defected has been characterised by modern releases like ‘White Rabbit’, ‘Come On Come On’ and the omnipresent club cut ‘Back In The Dance’ on DFTD. Today, the acclaimed Moxy Muzik label boss shows no signs of stopping as he collaborates with Metatone-signed singer and songwriter Jena, whose previous Defected release ‘Better’ saw her collaborate with Ferreck Dawn. As Darius’s signature, expert production gives ‘E-Soul’ serious heat, Jena’s infectious top line soars above with ease. Grammy-nominated and internationally acclaimed producer Nic Fanciulli returns to Defected with ‘Vente’ in collaboration with Miami natives Calussa. The globally revered producer and Saved Records boss is no stranger to Defected success, with summertime anthem ‘I Want You’ with Butch and his edit of A’Studio’s ‘S.O.S’ garnering acclaim from house fans and choice selectors alike. Now he works with Calussa, comprised of siblings Andrew and Gino Gomez, who are known for their multi-disciplinary approach to music, writing, performing and producing their own tracks and taking inspiration from Latin and Afro tech. ‘Vente’ is a culmination of these artist’s signature sounds, with Calussa’s far-reaching influences combining with the sleek and arresting production of Fanciulli for a bona fide future club anthem.

Vienna’s Wolfram and London-based Josh Ludlow come together for a joint Defected debut with chugging club track ‘YoYo Disco’. Two decades in the business has led Wolfram Eckert to collaborations with several high calibre electronic artists including Moby, Hercules and Love Affair, Rex the Dog and Haddaway. The seasoned DJ and eccentric fashion icon has performed all over, from the heady clubs of New York to the discotheques of Europe, eventually crossing paths with London’s Josh Ludlow who also DJs as one half of Make A Dance. A shared interest in both fashion and dance music brought the pair together, culminating in this eccentric club cut. With a synthetically generated vocal line full of playful suggestion, ‘YoYo Disco’ is imbued with a vibrant, European energy perfect for the approaching club season.

Pioneering producers Bob Sinclar, A-Trak and Melé join forces for a reimagining of the 2022 Defected release ‘Deep Inside Of Me’. Chris Le Friant AKA Bob Sinclar previously collaborated with Grammy-nominated Canadian producer and one half of Duck Sauce, A-Trak, for ‘Deep Inside Of Me’ last year - now British house innovator and choice selector Melé joins the fold to give the production a modern twist. Together the three artists have been at the forefront of various electronic scenes over three decades, producing some of the finest house tracks in every DJs record box: Sinclar rose to prominence in the late 90’s, A-Trak in the late noughties, and Melé within the last decade. A long-time friend of Defected, the prolific house legend Sandy Rivera collaborates with certified house legend Mike Dunn. Figurehead of Berlin institution Keinemusik Adam Port and Mexican electronic innovator Theus Mago join forces on a collective debut for Defected Records ‘The Dream’.
