Max Chapman and Mischief deliver the Terrace Mix of their Defected debut ‘Whisper’ with Rag’N’Bone Man. Released in July 2025, ‘Whisper’ quickly hit half a million streams while making a splash in Australia with impressive support on Double J Radio. Now the producers, and good friends, Max Chapman and Mischief deliver a summery dub that spotlights the original’s brassy live instrumentation over a lively and wonky sub bass.

Serve Cold, Grigoré and Jaguar Jaguar return to Defected with ‘LOW’, following the success of breakout label debut ‘Dancing’ in June 2025. Frequent collaborators Serve Cold and Grigoré first made music in 2024, inspired by the electronic soundscapes and neo-soul of artists like Jungle and Khruangbin. Together with Belgian band Jaguar Jaguar they debuted their fresh house record ‘Dancing’ on Defected Records in June 2025. The track was a breakout success, earning two million streams and two-thousand radio spins in under two months thanks to early support from the likes of Keinemusik, RÜFÜS DU SOL and Tripolism - the track also topped the Beatport Afro House chart for nearly two weeks after release. Now they build on their dreamlike dance sound with ‘LOW’, an acronym of “Love is the Only Way”. Drawing on their shared inspirations spanning world music and underground electronic, ‘LOW’ proves the staying power of Grigoré, Serve Cold and Jaguar Jaguar as good friends and musical collaborators with bubbling textures and dancefloor euphoria.

Teramo native Ben Kim returns to Defected with a remix of the London label favourite, ‘Freak Like Me’ by Lee Walker vs. DJ Deeon. Since his Beatport chart-topping rework of Jefferson Airplane’s ‘Somebody To Love’ in 2021, Ben Kim has become one of the tech-house scene’s most promising artists, with releases across tastemaker imprints Nervous, Kaluki and Club Sweat. Ben Kim now returns to the London label with a remix of the Defected classic ‘Freak Like Me’; the 2016 release began as an edit by UK producer Lee Walker, who reworked DJ Deeon’s Dance Mania OG from the 90s. Lee’s version gave the raw vocal a deep, rolling groove, stripping it down to turn it into a major dancefloor weapon which received remixes and major support from artists like Jamie Jones and Carl Cox. Already supported by the likes of Marco Carola, Michael Bibi and The Martinez Brothers, Ben Kim adds his flair to ‘Freak Like Me’ with a remix that arrives just in time for the summer festival season - its deep, alluring sound promising to fill dancefloors for years to come.

Rag'n'Bone Man, Max Chapman, Mischief - Whisper (Extended Mix) by Defected Records

CamelPhat and Elderbrook’s modern Defected classic ‘Cola’ is remixed by powerhouse Ukrainian duo ARTBAT. Early support from the likes of Solomun initially led to ARTBAT being recognised as ‘Artist of the Year’ by The DJ Awards and Mixmag’s ‘Stars of the Year’ in 2019, and since then the producer duo have become certified giants of the scene. From recent originals with Vintage Culture, Benny Benassi and Armand van Buuren, to remixes for artists like Empire Of The Sun, The Chemical Brothers and MEDUZA, ARTBAT’s arena filling house and techno rollers have made them one of Ukraine’s most notable electronic artists of the decade. The pair now take on the definitive Defected staple from 2017, CamelPhat and Elderbrook’s ‘Cola’. After changing the sound of clubbing here in the UK, the OG soared to the top of dance charts worldwide before receiving a nomination for Best Dance Recording at the 2018 GRAMMY Awards. The wickedly subversive record remains a favourite of dance music lovers today, with ARTBAT now adding their signature, main stage energy to ‘Cola’ in style; Elderbrook’s iconic vocal line remains at the fore, underpinned by expertly produced sections of build and release to set dancefloors and festivals alight for summer 2025 and beyond.

Defected house hero Ferreck Dawn returns to the London label with fiery summer heater ‘Deep Inside’. His previous label release in April 2025, ‘Make Me Weak’ featuring vocals from Carolyne Byrne, showcased an evolved sound for Ferreck - receiving much radio support across the UK, US, Ireland, France and his home country of The Netherlands. The Dutch powerhouse continues to go from strength to strength with an upcoming set at the label’s new residency at Pacha Ibiza and weekend festival Defected Malta in 2025. For his latest collaboration, Ferreck Dawn enlists Hayley May, a talented singer, songwriter and versatile musician who is no stranger to the Defected family; her recent collabs with artists like SAINT, Solardo and TCTS have proved Hayley’s worth as one of dance music’s most in-demand vocalists at the moment. Blending steel drums with fiery electronic rhythms, ‘Deep Inside’ shows Ferreck Dawn at his brightest and most dancefloor-ready, with Hayley May’s deliciously slick topline sure to remain with listeners throughout the summer.

Longstanding DJ and producer duo Noir & Haze return with their reimagining of iconic Defected record,‘Around’, following Italian trio MEDUZA’s 2025 version. Originally released in the 2010’s, a golden era for house music, ‘Around’ would see extended success over the years thanks to leagues of club support and artist interpretations, including the legendary Solomun Vox edit of 2011. Defected hitmakers Oden & Fatzo return with summer smash ‘Only For Tonight’, teaming up with US producer m.O.N.R.O.E and GRAMMY-nominated artist Matluck. The Martinez Brothers - H2 DA IZZO by Defected Records

A fresh and summery collaboration arrives on Defected, as Grigoré, Serve Cold and Jaguar Jaguar deliver ‘Dancing’. Grigoré has risen to success producing and DJing across house and techno spheres, quickly earning him respect from world-class artists like Solomun, CamelPhat and Kevin de Vries. His work with frequent collaborator Serve Cold began with his third EP, Seasons, with the tracks channelling both artists’ melancholic and melodic sides. For their Defected debut, the pair unite with Belgian band Jaguar Jaguar, who share the producers’ spiritual aesthetic and talent for electronic music. Jaguar Jaguar’s blissed-out vocals contrast with Grigoré and Serve Cold’s harder production for an chic and dreamlike house outing, evoking blissed-out, open-air vibes just in time for summer. A powerhouse collaboration arrives on Defected as BLOND:ISH, Moby and Kiko Franco come together for ‘Natural Blues’. A bona fide talent with many strings to her bow, BLOND:ISH has emerged as one of this generation’s most acclaimed electronic artists. From launching the non-profit environmental organisation Bye Bye Plastic and her own label ABRACADABRA, to playing the biggest stages around the world like Coachella, Tomorrowland and Pacha Ibiza’s first ever female residency in 2025, there is nothing BLOND:ISH can’t do. Returning to Defected after 2024’s tastemaker hit ‘The Cure’ with KeeQ and Chloe Paige, BLOND:ISH now collaborates with Moby, one of the world’s most prolific and best-selling dance music artists who also returns to Defected after label debut ‘You & Me’ with Anfisa Letyago. The two powerhouses are joined by acclaimed DJ, producer and remixer Kiko Franco, an established Brazillian talent who has collaborated with the likes of Duke Dumont and Vintage Culture while lending his sound to chart-topping tracks from Shouse and Zerb. ‘Natural Blues’ is a uniting of three experts in their field; Moby’s signature, sample-led sound is underpinned by upbeat piano patterns, complimented by BLOND:ISH’s complex production skills, while Kiko Franco’s monumental use of Afro house percussion and synth leads maximises the pre-drop tension. Together the three artists have created a rich and explosive house record that is set to uplift dancefloors globally this summer.

A certified Defected classic, ‘Bad Habit’ by ATFC featuring Lisa Millett is remixed by Clüb De Combat. The GRAMMY-nominated Nic Fanciulli unites with vocalist and songwriter Marc E. Bassy for ‘Hold On’ on Defected. Since previous label hits ‘I Want You’ with Butch and ‘Vente’ with Callussa, Nic Fanciulli has continued to nurture his Saved imprint, releasing ‘Set Me Free’ with Robert Courtois, a future club classic and five-week Beatport No.1 still receiving consistent club play nearly a year later. Continuing to build his relationship with Defected, 2025 will see Fanciulli play the label’s Pacha Ibiza residency and both flagship festivals in Croatia and Malta. A certified Defected staple, Noir & Haze’s seductive, deep house hit ‘Around’ is reworked by Italian titans of the scene MEDUZA. Released in the early 2010s, a golden era for the genre, Solomun’s Vox of the track became inescapable on club floors throughout 2011, originally supported by Deetron, Jimpster and Adam Port to name a very small few. Long-time friend of Defected Ferreck Dawn returns with ‘Make Me Weak’, featuring vocals from Caroline Byrne. A Dutch powerhouse who in 2024 played for the London label at Wembley’s OVO Arena, the summer season at Ushuaïa Ibiza, its flagship festival in Croatia and world tour stop in Toulouse, Ferreck continues to rep Defected on an international level - now preparing for the label’s season at Pacha Ibiza. His busy touring schedule was matched by his Defected output, working with Maverick Sabre, New Machine, GUZ, MEDUZA and Clementine Douglas on a string of tracks last year. Returning to the label in 2025, Ferreck collaborates with Caroline Byrne, a prolific dance music singer / songwriter who has previously featured on tracks with Gorgon City, Tudor, and TSHA. ‘Make Me Weak’ is a groovier, more synth-laden outing for Ferreck, spotlighting Caroline’s airy topline layered in harmony, creating a vocaloid-like effect that aligns perfectly with Ferreck’s signature, hard-hitting production.

Modern house champion Butch returns to Defected alongside genre-hopping songwriter and vocalist Life On Planets with ‘Get High With You’. Butch’s 2023 release ‘I Want You’ with Nic Fanciulli was one of Defected’s most celebrated, and in 2025 he returned to the London label, remixing Duck Sauce’s ‘Fallin In Love’ which charted in the Beatport top ten and was supported by Danny Howard, Arielle Free and Sarah Story on BBC Radio 1. Also no stranger to the Defected family, Life On Planets landed on sister label Classic Music Company in 2023 alongside Lubelski with the eclectic ‘Mercury In Retrograde’, a tastemaker release showcasing the multi-instrumentalists soulful vocals and songwriting prowess. Defected heavyweight Low Steppa returns alongside rising house name Capri with ‘Got The Funk’. No stranger to the London label, the DJ and producer from Brum has been a firm favourite at Defected shows worldwide for many years, from its flagship festivals to major club nights alike. His releases across the Defected family of labels have also seen major club play, from ‘This Is The Sound’ on DFTD to ‘Bullerengue’ with Crusy on Defected. For his latest label outing, Low Steppa collaborates with Capri, an artist whose tracks have been supported by Mark Knight, Sam Divine, Darius Syrossian and Dombresky, with more releases on tastemaker labels scheduled for 2025. Capri captured Low Steppa’s attention with a remix of his track ‘The Feeling’ on the influential producer’s Simma Black imprint, and now the two deliver ‘Got The Funk’, a seriously hypnotic belter set to do major club damage - already supported by the likes of Barry Can’t Swim, Eats Everything and Danny Howard.

Club titan HUGEL returns to Defected to remix a 2025 label favourite, ‘Hold Me’ by Hannah Wants featuring ARA. No stranger to the London label, HUGEL’s previous Defected release ‘Coge El Paso’ with DERON and La Payara is quickly becoming a club favourite, hitting half a million streams within four days of its release in March 2025. He now lends his heavy club sonic to Hannah Wants’ ‘Hold Me’ featuring vocals from her long-time collaborator and friend ARA.
