He paid upwards of $200,000 for access to "Silve" and her online content, including sexually explicit photos and videos. When Amato began stealing money from his family to keep his "connection" to "Silvie," his family stepped in, getting him professional help. This did not stop Amato. His family gave him an ultimatum. Stop communicating with Silvie or move out. On January 25 ,2019, Grant Amato shot and killed his mother, father and brother inside their Orlando home. A prosecutor is asking a judge to intervene after the parents of a suspected school shooter reportedly blew kisses at each other during a remote hearing. James and Jennifer Crumbley are each facing four counts of involuntary manslaughter in connection to the November 2020 school shooting in which their son, Ethan, is accused of killed four classmates. The mother of the 15-year-old Michigan boy texted a friend about her son’s demeanor hours before the deadly shooting, court testimony revealed. Jennifer Crumbley’s friend, Kira Pennock, 25, testified during a preliminary hearing about the texts Jennifer Crumbley sent her regarding a meeting she had with the school counselor hours before the shooting, according to The Detroit News. In the alleged texts, Jennifer Crumbley said she “s**t day” after the conference and included a photo of a disturbing drawing her 15-year-old son drew on a math assignment. Hours after the shooting, Jennifer Crumbley texted Pennock, “My son ruined so many lives today.” Fox News reported that during that fateful meeting, Ethan Crumbley convinced school officials that his concerning drawings were from a video game. The teen’s parents also refused to take him home, according to prosecutors. Jennifer Crumbley allegedly also texted Pennock that her son was having a “hard time” and “can’t be left alone.” Ethan Crumbley is charged with terrorism, first-degree murder, assault with intent to murder, and gun violations. A settlement has been reached between Prince Andrew and Virginia Giuffre. Giuffre has long accused the prince of sexually abusing her multiple times when she was 17. The terms of the settlement have not been released to the public, however, reports say the terms pay out $16 Million U.S. dollars, with $2 million of that designated for a charity of Giuffre's choice. Last month, the terms of a 2009 settlement between Giuffre and Epstein were released to the public as part of Giuffre’s lawsuit against Prince Andrew. The document revealed that Giuffre was paid $500,000 in the settlement. Prince Andrew’s legal team has argued that the 2009 settlement legally shielded him from civil lawsuits like the one Giuffre had filed against him. He had also tried to stop the stipulations of Giuffre’s 2009 settlement from being released to the public. A New York girl reported missing for two years has been found safe. Paislee Shultis was four at the time of her disappearance. Investigators suspected that Paislee’s biological parents, who didn’t have custody, took her. Today that was proven. After receiving a tip that someone was hiding Paislee, New York State police found the child and her parents at a home in Saugerties. A detective helped search inside the home and when he shined a flashlight at an odd-looking place in the staircase, he noticed a blanket.Police removed a few steps in the area and located Paislee and her biological mother, 33-year-old Kimberly Cooper, in a “small, cold and wet” space. Cooper and father Kirk Shultis, Jr., were both arrested and charged with felony custodial interference and endangering the welfare of a child. Paislee is in good health and is now back with her older sister and legal guardian. An Indiana man accused of child exploitation and child pornography, says police told him he was the last person to communicate with one of two girls killed in Delphi, Indiana, in 2017. In a jailhouse interview with HLN, Keegan Kline says police told him that his fake “anthony_shots” social media profile was the last communication with Liberty “Libby” German, 14. Libby and her friend, Abigail Williams, 13, were found murdered near the Monon High Bridge in Delphi, in February 2017. A Michigan mother says that the cartoon character SpongeBob SquarePants threatened to kill her if she did not kill her 3-year-old daughter. Prosecutors say 22-year-old Justine Johnson stabbed the girl multiple times, then discarded her body in a trash bag at her home. Johnson says she had been experiencing hallucinations amid weeks of heroin withdrawal and lack of sleep. Johnson's brothers found the little girl hidden in a back room, a small foot sticking out of the trash bag. Police searched the home and found bloodstains on a closet door, couches and items in a bedroom. Three knives were also recovered. Inside the bag, investigators found Sutton’s body wrapped in a comforter and a pair of jeans that had traces of blood on them. A Long Island grandmother helps capture a suspected scammer. 73-year-old former 911 dispatcher Jean Ebbert receives a call from a man claiming to be her grandson, who's been jailed for DUI. He needs $8,000 for bail. Problem the scammer is, Ebbert's grandchildren aren't old enough to drive. Ebbert decides to play along and get the police involved. Multiple callers get involved claiming to be a bailbondman, and a lawyer. When the man shows up to collect the money, police are waiting. Ebbert hands the man an envelop full of paper towels and the police take him down. A juror in Scott Peterson’s murder trial will be granted immunity when she testifies in a San Mateo County courtroom later this month. Richelle Nice is accused of lying on her juror questionnaire for Peterson's 2004 trial. Nice has been accused of lying, by not disclosing that she had filed for a protective order against her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend whom Nice said was stalking her. Nice also did not disclose she had been a victim of domestic violence. Peterson's attorney accused Nice of intentionally lying to get on the jury to convict the accused husband. 40-year-old Ingrid Lyne, a mother of three, disappears after a date to a professional baseball game. Her date, 37-year-old John Charlton, tells police he was too drunk the night before to remember what happened. Lyne's partial remains were found in a recycling bin miles away from her home. Investigators believe Lyne was killed in her own home, and dismembered in the bathtub with a 15-inch pruning saw. Human flesh and blood were found in the bathtub drain. An investigation finds that Charlton has a criminal history in six states and that his parents had taken out a restraining order against him. Boston police officer John O'Keefe dies after being hit by a car and left outside during a snowstorm. The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office says it is believed that Karen Read, 41, backed into her boyfriend, 46-year-old O’Keefe, after dropping him off at a party. . Earlier in the evening the couple was at the Waterfall Bar in Canton until after midnight. Read did not attend the party, saying her stomach was hurting. She reportedly struck O’Keefe while making a three-point turn. The next morning, when O’Keefe did not return home, Read and two friends reportedly found the off-duty officer outside the Canton residence, bleeding and bruised. He was pronounced dead at a hospital. An autopsy determined O’Keefe suffered multiple skull fractures and hypothermia. Both of his eyes were swollen shut, and he also had cuts on his right arm and the back of his head. Read pleaded not guilty on charges of manslaughter, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle collision causing death, and motor vehicle homicide. An armed gunman rams the gate at former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s Colorado ranch and kidnaps a housekeeper. 48-year-old Joseph Beecher facing kidnapping, felony menacing, and other charges in both Colorado and Wyoming. After abducting 46-year-old Amanda Edinger, Beecher forced her to drive to several stops in the Denver area before driving to Wyoming. Federal and local authorities located them at the Stagecoach Motel in Cheyenne, and a Cheyenne Police Department SWAT team made the arrest. Edinger was unharmed. According to the husband, Marcello, the couple had marital problems and had just cut short a family trip to Disney World. He claims she left the house on Monday, November 22nd, after an argument and that Melissa Molanari returned on Tuesday to pack her clothes. The husband says she left with an unknown male. Suffolk County police find the body of Melissa Molinari just off a dead-end road in Middle Island. The body was off of a trail, covered with leaves and branches, wrapped in plastic. Prosecutors say GPS data put Marcello Molanari twice at the scene where the body was found. Summer Chester died in January this year, in a hit-and-run car accident. The other driver, Jonathan Vera, ran a traffic signal. He is now charged with manslaughter in this case, but Vera is also facing other charges. Vera was arrested on capital murder charges after a deadly home invasion. He spent two years in jail, held on $250,000 bond. In March of last year, 351st Criminal District Court Judge Natalia Cornelio lowered Vera's bond, to $50,000. The bodies of five women are now linked to a serial killer dubbed the "shopping cart killer." Anthony Robinson, 35, is charged with two of the murders, but more counts are expected. Investigators believe Robinson met his victims through dating websites, then in at least four cases, lured them to a motel he is known to stay.Police said video surveillance and cell phone records connect Robinson to the deaths. A rancher finds Gabriel Quintanilla beaten, in a field outside McAllen, Texas. The 42-year-old dies of blunt force trauma to the head. An investigation uncovers a warrant for Quintanilla on charges of continuous sexual assault of a child and assault, family violence. This is after Quintanilla's 9-year-old daughter accuses him of inappropriately touching her. Police said the girl's teen stepbrothers, Christian, and Alejandro Trevino, learn of the accusations and confront Quintanilla, leading to a fight. Quintanilla reportedly then left the area on foot. A second fight occurred when Christian Trevino allegedly chased Quintanilla. At some point, Alejandro Trevino arrived in a car driven by friend Juan Eduardo Melendez, 18. The two other teens reportedly joined in on the attack. Quintanilla was then attacked a third time. Police believe brass knuckles were used. Father Justin Ross Harris, 41, takes his son to breakfast, and then instead of turning toward the daycare to drop off his son, Harris drives to work, parks his SUV in the lot and heads inside. The little boy is still strapped in his car seat. The temperatures that day are over 90 degrees outside, and 125 degrees in the car, according to experts. Cooper Harris suffers heatstroke and dies. Justin Ross Harris returns from lunch, stops to put a purchase inside the car, but doesn't see his son inside. The discovery of the body happens that evening as Harris is driving home. He pulls over into a parking lot, unlocking the lifeless body of his only child from it's restraints. Harris is charged and convicted of eight counts including malice murder. A judge sentences him to life without parole as well as 32 more years in prison. Now the killer dad is asking for a new trial. The body of 13-year-old Minnie Soriano is found by a homeless man in a dumpster. The girl has been sex abused and strangled. Now after 22 years, 49-year-old Joseph Martinez has been arrested. Officials allege that Martinez, who teaches astronomy on the street, knew Soriano because he lived in her building. The teen also had an interest in astronomy and wanted to be an astronaut. New Orleans police executing a search warrant related to a missing person, find a dismembered body. The headless torso was found inside a freezer, which was inside a bus, parked next to a home. Drop cord had been run to the bus to power the freezer. The remains have been identified as Julia Dardar 36. An autopsy determined that Dardar died of blunt force injuries to her head and neck along with asphyxia due to manual strangulation. The FBI report on the death of Gabby Petito concludes that Brian Laundrie killed Petito while the pair were on a cross-country van trip. A suspect arrested in the murder of 24-year-old Brianna Kupfer. Shawn Laval Smith, 31, is accused of entering the high-end furniture store where Kupfer worked, then stabbing her to death.
