Shanquella Robinson, 25, died on October 29, one day into a girls' trip to Cabo with six friends. Police records, Robinson's death certificate, and the stories told by Robinson’s friends all give conflicting accounts of her death. The friends initially told Robinson's family she died from alcohol poisoning in the presence of a doctor, who had been on the scene for about three hours. But the death certificate said that she died from a severe neck injury about 15 minutes after receiving the injury. A video surfaced after Robinson’s death that appears to show one of Robinson's companions beating her. Robinson does not fight back, and in fact, a voice is heard on the video asking her to do so. Mexican authorities and the FBI are investigating the case, and Mexico issued an arrest warrant and extradition request for one of Robinson’s traveling companions. The U.S. Department of Justice and, ultimately, the Secretary of State will make a decision on whether the extradition will be allowed. No arrests have been made. Dr. Christopher Osborn is found and pronounced dead in his home in Dublin, Ohio on July 18th, 2018, just after 7:30 a.m. He had been shot in the head three times in his sleep. His wife, Holli Osborn, drunkenly calls her father to tell him that her husband is dead. Her father calls the police and shortly thereafter they arrive at the house. After finding two guns next to the bed and seeing the state of Ms. Osborn, they take her into custody and eventually charge her with the murder of her husband. Legal battles are not over for Amber Heard. Johnny Depp was awarded $8.3 million dollars in court after a jury agreed that his former wife, Heard, defamed the 'Pirates of the Carribean" actor. Heard's insurer sued saying the actress' policy does not cover any of the $8.3 million because it doesn't cover "willful" misconduct. That is what the jury found Heard was liable for. Initially, a judge agreed saying the insurers do not have to cover any payouts. Now Heard is countersuing New York Marine and General Insurance Co. that it promised to pay her defense costs and judgments against her up to a million dollars, no matter what. An Atlanta teen is shot dead at a reported birthday party. Hundred of teens from high schools across Metro Atlanta attended. Police receive a call about a person shot and find the 15-year-old victim near the entrance, unresponsive. Investigators say an individual was removed from the party but returned with an accomplice. They fired multiple shots into the building. So far, no suspects have been named. Detectives are now sifting through eight hours of surveillance video from a Moscow gas. A clerk there spotted the now infamous white Hyundai Elantra that police identified as being seen near the home where four University of Idaho students were stabbed. An overnight assistant manager from the station told Fox News Digital that she's been reviewing the tapes over the past few days during her downtime on the graveyard shift. She recognized the white sedan passing by at 3:45 a.m. on the night of the murders. She said the car drove by "real quick" and turned down a side street off Highway 8. The clerk sent a photo of the car and video to an email address police set up to receive tips, and a few hours later, detectives gathered the footage. Aeris Hammock leaves her home on a Friday afternoon. As afternoon turns into evening, Charles and Leila Hammock set out to find their daughter. The family tracks Aeris' phone to a cul-de-sac. Once the car is found, things don't add up. Hammock's car was unlocked with the keys inside. Her ID and credit cards were in the car, and her phone was in the glove box. The parents then discover information on the phone for the last six months has been erased. Surveillance video shows Hammock wandering up and down the cul-de-sac and through a nearby alley. It's been more than a month since four University of Idaho students were found stabbed to death in off-campus housing. Families of the victims have complained that they are not being kept informed by Moscow Police. Steve Goncalves, the father of Idaho victim Kaylee Goncalves, says he is so frustrated by how his daughter's and the other murders have been handled that he is looking at hiring a private investigator. Goncalves says his daughter and her friend Maddie's deaths are very different, saying Kaylee's injuries are more brutal. He also says that he is receiving little information from the Moscow Police. Police say Athena Strand was dead within an hour of her abduction. The 7-year-old was taken from her family home by a FedEx delivery driver. Authorities say a contract FedEx driver who was delivering a package to Strand’s home kidnapped the girl. Investigators say Strand got off a bus around 4:15 p.m. and was missing from the residence at some point before 5:15 p.m. after an argument with her stepmother. An hour-long search ensued, but when Strand could not be found, 911 was called. Dozens of law enforcement and hundreds of volunteers joined the search effort. Police received a tip about the FedEx Driver Tanner Horner. When approached by police, Horner confessed. Police have not said whether Strand was sexually assaulted. It's been over a year since Michael Vaughn vanished from his family home. Tips lead police to the home of a neighbor, Sarah Wondra. The 35-year-old was charged with failure to report the death of 5-year-old Vaughan. Police then spent more than a week excavating the home's backyard and announced their findings. FPD Chief JD Huff says police believe Vaughan's body was buried in Wondra's backyard and then moved to another location. All the cadaver dogs used in the search "alerted" in the yard. Ground penetrating radar also detected "anomalies." Additional evidence was found in the home, but that information is not yet being released. Huff also announced the identities of two other people thought to have knowledge in Vaughan's disappearance, Brandon Shurtliff, 30, and Adrien Lucienne, 32. Both men are now out of state. Shurtliff and Lucienne were staying at the Wondras' home. The search for Michael Vaugh's body continues. Idaho police taking a step back from their comments that the four University of Idaho students killed in their bedrooms, were targeted. Originally, comments were made by investigators that the public "will just have to trust us," that the evidence collected indicated that the students were the intended victims of the murders and that the public at large is safe. Now, in a released statement, the Moscow Police Department says these comments came from a miscommunication with the Latah County Prosecutor’s Office, and that "detectives do not currently know if the residence or any occupants were specifically targeted but continue to investigate." An Indiana judge orders the release of charging documents in the case of accused murderer Richard Allen, in connection with the 2017 Delphi murders of 14-year-olds Libby German and Abigail Williams. According to the documents, an unspent .40 caliber bullet with extraction marks was found in between the victims. Witnesses tell police they encountered a "kinda creepy" man at the bridge wearing a blue jacket, black boots, and a black hoodie. Another witness said she spotted a man dressed similarly walking away from the Monon High Bridge on the day in question. She noted his clothes were “muddy and bloody." Investigators said security footage captured Allen’s Ford Focus in the area on February 13, 2017, at around 1:27 p.m. Allen also reportedly admitted that he was on the bridge on February 13, 2017 in a police interview, claiming he was there to watch the fish. In October 2022, investigators obtained a search warrant for Allen’s residence where they found a .40 caliber pistol. The Indiana State Police Laboratory examined the bullet found at the crime scene and ultimately determined that it came from the pistol registered to Allen, and “forensically determined” that the bullet cycled through his gun. Allen claimed he never let anyone else use his gun, but he had no explanation for the bullet found at the crime scene. Shanquella Robinson and six of her friend take a vacation to San José del Cabo in Mexico. One day later, the 25-year-old is dead. Salamondra Robinson spoke with her daughter the day before she died and tells Nancy Grace that all seemed well. Robinson said she was having a good time. Initially, Robinson’s mother was told by the friends that Shanquella had died from alcohol poisoning, but the autopsy told a different story. Robinson’s died due to “severe spinal cord injury and atlas luxation.” Atlas luxation means an instability or excessive movement in the top neck vertebrae. A viral video surface of Robinson being beaten inside her room. She is seen being thrown to the floor and beaten on the head. Now Mexican authorities have issued an arrest warrant for one of the women traveling with Robinson. A name has not been released but authorities want the suspect extradited back to Mexico to face charges. As yet, what those charges may be has not been named. Amy Mihaljevic was just 10 years old when she went missing. She told friends at school the day she disappeared that she was going with someone to buy her mom a surprise gift. Eyewitnesses reported seeing Amy speaking with a white male, at a local ice cream shop and then leaving with him through a parking lot. Later police discover that Mihaljevic and other girls in the area had been contacted by telephone by the abductor. The estimated 30-something-year-old man arranged to meet Mihaljevic after school. Just over three months later, Amy's body was found by a jogger in a farm field in a nearby town. Investigators say it appears the little girl's body was most likely dumped shortly after her abduction. Mihaljevic dies from a combination of stab wounds to the neck and a blow to her head. Some of the things that were known to be with or on Mihaljevic that day have never been found: the boots Amy was wearing, a denim backpack, a binder with "Buick, Best in Class" written on it, and turquoise earrings in the shape of horse heads. For 12 years, Emmy award-winning actress, Eva La Rue lived in fear of an unknown stalker. The actress received hundreds of letters addressed to her and later, her daughter, that detailed threats of rape, murder, dismemberment, and more. The stalker signed the letters as "Freddie Kruger," the fictional serial killer. LaRue and her family moved several times, even out of the country, in the hopes that the stalker would not be able to find them, but the letters seemed to resume mere days or weeks after each move. The stalker even called Kaya's school, posing as her father, in an attempt to kidnap her. Investigators identified DNA on the letters and cross-referenced that material with DNA information from commercial genealogy providers to identify relatives of the stalker. FBI agents were able to narrow down their suspect to 58-year-old James David Rogers, and a DNA sample collected from a discarded straw confirmed he was the stalker. Rogers was sentenced to 40 months in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of mailing threatening communications, one count of threats by interstate communications, and two counts of stalking. Olivia Fowler, 26, was last seen near Manchester, Georgia, on August 13, 2021, at her boyfriend's home around 2 a.m. At 10:30 a.m. that same morning, a Department of Natural Resources ranger spotted Fowler walking along Pebblebrook Road in Meriwether County. After that sighting, there has been no trace of Fowler. So far, there haven’t been any solid leads to help Fowler's family find her. Fowler was last seen wearing white cut-off shorts, black flip-flops, and a white tie-dye shirt. She has a tattoo on her right arm that reads, "I love you,” and a missing front tooth. Four University of Idaho friends are found murdered in an off-campus home. Their killer still walks free. Madison Mogen, 21; Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Ethan Chapin. 20; and Xana Kernodle, 20, were found stabbed to death in the rented off-campus home the three women shared with two other women. They were killed sometime between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. on November 13. The Moscow Police Department has received more than 646 tips, conducted over 90 interviews, and are now working with state police, state troopers, the FBI, and multiple behavior and forensics experts to track down the killer. Investigators have not located a murder weapon and continue to reiterate that the surviving roommates are not believed to have been involved in the murders. Moscow Police Captain Roger Lanier has not mentioned if their investigation has revealed any possible suspects.
