Shocking Details Revealed on Slaughter of 2 Delphi Girls

An Indiana judge orders the release of charging documents in the case of accused murderer Richard Allen, in connection with the 2017 Delphi murders of 14-year-olds Libby German and Abigail Williams. According to the documents, an unspent .40 caliber bullet with extraction marks was found in between the victims. Witnesses tell police they encountered a "kinda creepy" man at the bridge wearing a blue jacket, black boots, and a black hoodie. Another witness said she spotted a man dressed similarly walking away from the Monon High Bridge on the day in question. She noted his clothes were “muddy and bloody." Investigators said security footage captured Allen’s Ford Focus in the area on February 13, 2017, at around 1:27 p.m. Allen also reportedly admitted that he was on the bridge on February 13, 2017 in a police interview, claiming he was there to watch the fish. In October 2022, investigators obtained a search warrant for Allen’s residence where they found a .40 caliber pistol. The Indiana State Police Laboratory examined the bullet found at the crime scene and ultimately determined that it came from the pistol registered to Allen, and “forensically determined” that the bullet cycled through his gun. Allen claimed he never let anyone else use his gun, but he had no explanation for the bullet found at the crime scene. UNSOLVED: Girl, 10, Snatched from Ohio Bay Shopping Strip, Family Gets Bizarre Calls

Amy Mihaljevic was just 10 years old when she went missing. She told friends at school the day she disappeared that she was going with someone to buy her mom a surprise gift. Eyewitnesses reported seeing Amy speaking with a white male, at a local ice cream shop and then leaving with him through a parking lot. Later police discover that Mihaljevic and other girls in the area had been contacted by telephone by the abductor. The estimated 30-something-year-old man arranged to meet Mihaljevic after school. Just over three months later, Amy's body was found by a jogger in a farm field in a nearby town. Investigators say it appears the little girl's body was most likely dumped shortly after her abduction. Mihaljevic dies from a combination of stab wounds to the neck and a blow to her head. Some of the things that were known to be with or on Mihaljevic that day have never been found: the boots Amy was wearing, a denim backpack, a binder with "Buick, Best in Class" written on it, and turquoise earrings in the shape of horse heads. 'CSI' STAR ACTRESS STALKED, THREATENED WITH RAPE & MURDER

For 12 years, Emmy award-winning actress, Eva La Rue lived in fear of an unknown stalker. The actress received hundreds of letters addressed to her and later, her daughter, that detailed threats of rape, murder, dismemberment, and more. The stalker signed the letters as "Freddie Kruger," the fictional serial killer. LaRue and her family moved several times, even out of the country, in the hopes that the stalker would not be able to find them, but the letters seemed to resume mere days or weeks after each move. The stalker even called Kaya's school, posing as her father, in an attempt to kidnap her. Investigators identified DNA on the letters and cross-referenced that material with DNA information from commercial genealogy providers to identify relatives of the stalker. FBI agents were able to narrow down their suspect to 58-year-old James David Rogers, and a DNA sample collected from a discarded straw confirmed he was the stalker. Rogers was sentenced to 40 months in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of mailing threatening communications, one count of threats by interstate communications, and two counts of stalking. $$ PRIVATE SCHOOL $$ Forces Boy in SOLITARY CONFINEMENT, COMMITS SUICIDE: Says Family

The family of Claudio Mandia sues an elite New York school after their 17-year-old son commits suicide. Mandia was accused of cheating and admitted to having another student compose a math paper for him. The school, EF Academy, expelled Mandia and is accused of putting him in solitary confinement until his family could arrive from Italy. School officials dispute the claim. The year leading up to Mandia's death was rife with personal issues that affected the boy's academic performance. There was a bout with Covid and a close family member died after an illness. There was also the additional stress of trying to make up the mound of assignments that Mandia missed when he was sick. The family's suit alleges wrongful death, negligence, false imprisonment and emotional distress, among other charges. The suit also alleges that the school “often recklessly disregards the psychological needs of its students." It notes that one of Mandia's classmates had tried to kill himself the year before. A spokesperson for EF Academy says the filing contains "multiple inaccurate statements." Mandia's family says he originally applied to the rigorous academic program to lay a foundation for him to fulfill his dream of attending a top university in Italy. Boy, 9, Locked in Outdoor Dog Cage For Months in Freezing Temps: NEIGHBORS KNEW

A 9-year-old North Carolina boy was reportedly forced to live locked in a dog cage for the last six months. The boy's father, stepmother, and the stepmother's aunt were arrested on child abuse and related charges. The trio is facing a total of 19 felony child abuse indictments. Deputies responded to the family home on October 19 after receiving an anonymous 911 call regarding possible child abuse. The caller reportedly told police that her husband had previously taken food to the victim. Upon arrival, deputies noticed the boy inside a locked dog kennel wearing no shirt, jeans, and no shoes, even though temperatures were below freezing and frost was on the ground. Deputies found the stepmother inside a bedroom with a 4-year-old under the bed and the 8-month-old still in her arms. She claimed she didn’t know the combination for the cage lock, forcing EMS and deputies to break the cage open. The 9-year-old was taken to the Brenner’s Children’s Hospital in Winston-Salem, police said, where he received a medical checkup and was released the same day. Mom of 2, Dead, Stuffed in Hockey Bag; HANDYMAN/LOVER TAKES SWEETHEART DEAL

Slain New York mother Orsolya Gaal's handyman/lover avoid a murder charge by pleading guilty to manslaughter in the mother's deal. David Bonola accepted a plead deal and will be sentenced to 25 years in prison. Prosecutors say Bonola stabbed the 51-year-old wife and mother of two nearly 50 times in her home in April, then stuffed her dismembered body in a duffel bag and dumped it at a park. Police say Gaal and David Bonola had a two-year affair. Chief James Essig says Bonola arrived at Gaal’s home between 12:30 a.m. and 12:40 a.m. on April 16. An argument broke out, which continued in the basement where Gaal was stabbed with a knife from her own kitchen. Police believe the suspect then stuffed Gaal in her son’s hockey bag. Investigators searched the suspect’s garbage and found a bloody pair of work boots and other bloodied items. Tot Mom Casey Anthony Tells 'Her Truth' on Network Series

It’s been 15 years since Caylee Anthony died. Her mother, Casey Anthony, was acquitted of first-degree murder but was convicted of lying to police and served a three-year prison sentence. Now, Anthony will reportedly explain all in a new three-part docuseries airing on Peacock at the end of the month. Showrunner and Director Alexandra Dean says in a release that the programs will explore Anthony's "personal archives" and "behind the scenes" footage. Dean writes, “Since her acquittal in 2011, public opinion of Casey Anthony has been largely shaped by the media convinced of her guilt.” Anthony has never given an in-depth or on-camera interview explaining her actions. ACCUSED REAL LIFE MEAN GIRLS ALLEGEDLY BULLY HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY GIRL DEAD: Report

McKenna Brown, a teen hockey star, commits suicide after alleged bullying by three hockey teammates. The group of teens had been friends for years, but that changed when Brown asked one of the girls if it would be ok for her to begin talking with that girl's former boyfriend. The girl said yes, but her actions over the next few days proved it was far from fine. The girls allegedly began harassing Brown via text messages. Even after Brown apologized, the attacks continue. The teammate encouraged others to cut ties with McKenna and “leave her without a single friend.” The bullies also reportedly shared deeply private information about Brown's sexual assault with other members of the hockey team. Within hours, Cheryl Brown would find her daughter dead on the bedroom floor. Since the bullying came to light, the three teammates have been suspended pending the outcome of an investigation into what happened. The Lightning High School Hockey League launched a probe, as did the Statewide Amateur Hockey of Florida, and USA Hockey hired outside counsel to perform another review. The girls are appealing their suspension. No one has been charged in connection with McKenna Brown's death. Parkland School Shooter Spared Death Penalty; Attorney Under Investigation After Flashing Middle Finger in Court

A Florida jury has recommended life in prison for teen who killed 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Nikolas Cruz was spared the death penalty because in Florida, the jury must unanimously agreed. The 12 jurors deliberated for about seven hours. Ultimately, three jurors voted against the death penalty. On top of the life sentence, now an attorney who represented Cruz is being investigated by the Florida Bar Association. While a spokesperson for the agency did not disclose the probe's scope, many suspect the investigation is related to the fact thatTamara Curtis was caught on camera apparently filmed flashing the middle finger in court. Curtis was reportedly seen raising her middle finger while rubbing her cheek, eliciting laughs from herself and Cruz. Many parents of the victims expressed the immaturity of the action.
