3 Sex Abuse Cases in 2 Countries: Influencer Andrew Tate Still Walking Free

New assault claims against the Tate brothers.  Lauren Southern, a right-wing Canadian political influencer, writes in her Substack that she met Andrew Tate on a trip to Bucharest.  At 22, Southern approached Tate with a business proposition.  She says on that 2018 trip,  Tate choked and assaulted her while she was intoxicated. The self-published memoir is titled “This Is Not Real Life.” Kickboxer and media influencer Andrew Tate is charged with rape, human trafficking, and more. He's now facing three sex abuse legal battles in two countries. Tate and his brother were taken into custody in Romania, where they live. Prosecutors say the Tates and two associates formed an organized criminal group to groom and sexually traffic women in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Romania. The indictment names seven women who say the Tate brothers recruited them with false promises, including love and marriage, but instead took them to buildings where they intimidated them, watched over them constantly, forcing them into debt and pornography.  Joining Nancy Grace Today: Greg Ahlgren – International Attorney-at-Law at the US-MX Law Group, Ltd. & DRT Alliance/Diaz Reus International Law Firm Dr. Joni Johnston – Forensic Psychologist and Private Investigator (performs risk and threat assessments on violent offenders); Author: “Serial Killers: 101 Questions True Crime Fans Ask” Sheryl McCollum – Cold Case Investigative Research Institute Founder & Host of New Podcast: “Zone 7;" X: @149Zone7 Lee Reiber – Mobile Device Forensic Expert, COO: Oxygen Forensics, Inc., Author: “Mobile Forensic Investigations: A Guide to Evidence Collection, Analysis, and Presentation” Dawn Schiller (Los Angeles, CA)- Training Director for the L.A. FRIDAY NIGHT SPECIAL: GIRL, 7, FOUND LOCKED IN CLOSET STARVED, MOM " I WANT TO FIGHT FOR MY KIDS" SPEAKS OUT IN COURT

A 7-year-old girl is found locked in a closet, now the search is on for her 9-year-old sister, Ava Marie Gonzales. Austin police respond to a home in Del Valle after receiving a 911 call about a 7-year-old girl is discovered starved and locked inside a bedroom closet. Six other children are also found in the home, but police say it appears they are physically healthy. According to reports, the child was soiled and barricaded in a closet with heavy boxes blocking the door. An arrest affidavit reveals Virginia Marie Gonzales is accused of locking the 7-year-old girl in a closet for “weeks at a time.” The affidavit further states the girl’s grandmother told police that the child had trouble controlling her bladder and often ate things she shouldn’t. This allegedly led to her siblings being instructed to keep her locked in the closet. The 7-year-old was hospitalized and is now recovering. During the investigation, detectives learn about another child, Ava, who has been missing for years. Virginia Marie Gonzales, Ava ‘s mother, was arrested on a charge of serious injury to a child in connection with the 7-year-old’s case. According to police, the missing now 9-year-old child was last seen when she was just 2 years old and in the custody of her mother, Virginia Marie Gonzales.  In court Gonzales says she is willing to do whatever necessary to regain custody of her children.  Joining Nancy Grace today, LeAnne Marie, friend of mom, Virginia Gonzales Bronwyn Blake- Adjunct Professor, University of Texas School of Law; Chief Legal Officer, Texas Advocacy Project; Founder: Teen Justice Initiative, advocating for teen victims of dating violence. NURSING STUDENT HOLLY BOBO GOES INTO THE WOODS AND VANISHES: KILLER WALKS FREE?

Holly Bobo, a beautiful young nursing student, disappears from her family home in Darden, Tennessee. She is last seen by her brother, Clint, walking into the woods at the back of their property with a man wearing camouflage who looks familiar. The Holly Bobo murder case returns to court years after a Tennessee man’s conviction. A new legal filing has emerged, requesting a new trial based on statements made by a key trial witness who now claims to be recanting his testimony—the same testimony that helped convict his friend. Holly's case has already faced several setbacks over the years; could this be another? At the time of her disappearance, Holly Bobo was a 20-year-old nursing student at the University of Tennessee at Martin, attending classes at the Parsons Center. She lived with her parents and brother. On the morning of her disappearance, Clint, Holly's brother, was awakened by a noise outside the home. Believing he heard and saw his sister talking with her boyfriend, he thought nothing was wrong. However, when Clint spoke to their mother, she immediately sensed something was wrong and frantically called 911. That morning, Holly had woken up at 4:30 a.m. to study for an exam. Around 7:30 a.m., she answered a call from her boyfriend, Drew Scott, who was out turkey hunting. By that time, Holly's parents had already left for work, and Clint was still asleep. Twelve minutes later, Holly made her final cell phone call.  Joining Nancy Grace today: Ben Powers - Criminal Defense Attorney, Facebook: Legal Powers Dr. Angela Arnold - Psychiatrist, AngelaArnoldMD.com, Former Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, Obstetrics and Gynecology: Emory University, Former Medical Director of The Psychiatric Ob-Gyn Clinic at Grady Memorial Hospital, Todd G. 'YOU'RE NOT SPECIAL': Kohberger's Take-Down from Victim's Sister, Orders Him to 'Sit Up'

Bryan Kohberger, an admitted quadruple murderer, stares straight-faced as grief-stricken parents, siblings, grandparents, and friends of the four slain University of Idaho students speak to the court through their victim impact statements. Kaylee Goncalves’s sister confronts Kohberger in a stunning statement that moves the courtroom to applaud. Alivea Goncalves says to Bryan Kohberger, “My sister Kaylee and her best friend Maddie were not yours to take. They were not yours to study, to stalk, or to silence. They’re everything you could never be: loved, accepted, vibrant, accomplished, brave, and powerful.” Kaylee’s father, Steve Goncalves, also directly addresses Kohberger, calling him a "joke" and saying, “The world's watching because of the kids, not because of you.” He also highlights how easily Kohberger was tracked down by police: despite all those A’s in school, he’s still so dumb. Kohberger declines to address the court after listening to hours of powerful statements from victims’ families. He takes a last-minute plea, sparing him the death penalty. The judge ultimately sentences him to four consecutive life sentences. Judge Steven Hippler calls Bryan Kohberger a “coward” who “slithered through the sliding glass door at 1122 King Road” and “now stands unmasked.” Joining Nancy Grace today: Greg Morse - Criminal Defense Attorney at Morse Legal, Author of “The Untested” [found on Amazon] Dr. Shavaun Scott- Psychotherapist, Author of “The Minds of Mass Killers: Understanding and Interrupting the Pathway to Violence” and "Game Addiction: The Experience and the Effects;"  FB: Shavaun.scott, Instagram: shavaunscott Dr. DeWayne Hendrix - Former Associate Warden at the MDC in Brooklyn, and Former Senior Warden with the US Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons; Founder and President of A New Daylight Foundation, Author: "Who Are You?  See it Say it and Seize it;" @anewdaylight (IG)  @drdewaynehendrix (LinkedIn)  @anewdaylight (X-Twitter)   Joseph Scott Morgan - Professor of Forensics: Jacksonville State University, Author of "Blood Beneath My Feet," and Host: "Body Bags with Joseph Scott Morgan;" X @JoScottForensicith Joseph Scott Morgan;" X:@JoScottForensic Sheryl McCollum -  Cold Case Investigative Research Institute Founder, Host of Podcast: Zone 7; X: @ColdCaseTips Susan Hendricks - Outside Ada County Courthouse Journalist, Author: “Down the Hill: My Descent into the Double Murder in Delphi;" IG @susan_hendricks X @SusanHendicks  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

MESSAGE TO BONDI: RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES! You promised, NOW DELIVER!

Attorney General Pam Bondi is facing pressure from all sides to release the Epstein files, receiving major backlash after a memo from the Justice Department and FBI contradicted promises she previously made about releasing Epstein’s list. She now claims the incriminating "client list does not exist," that Epstein did not blackmail prominent figures, and that he died by suicide. Mark Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein's brother, says he has no reason to believe his brother took his own life. Instead, he alleges that Jeffrey was murdered and points to the federal government’s lack of transparency as potential evidence of a cover-up. Metadata analysis suggests the “raw” Jeffrey Epstein prison video from the night of his death may have been modified. While there is no definitive evidence proving the footage was tampered with, growing suspicion surrounds the key minutes missing from the video—fueling even more conspiracy theories, including claims that Epstein may still be alive. Epstein was first investigated by federal authorities in Florida in 2000, which resulted in a non-prosecution agreement and a guilty plea to state prostitution charges. He was later charged with child sex trafficking in Manhattan in 2019. The government also secured a conviction against Epstein’s co-conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell. JOCELYN, 12, LURED FROM 7-ELEVEN, STRANGLED, UNCLOTHED IN CREEK: New Charges

An American woman claims she was raped by one of the suspects in Jocelyn Nungary's murder. She says the attack happened during a vacation to Costa Rica, and the government there did nothing.  The night Jocelyn's body was found, Billie Jean Jackson is driving past the creek near 400 West Rankin Road and sees what she thinks might be a mannequin. The image was lifelike enough to make her turn around and check it out for sure. Getting a good look, Jackson realizes, it is not a mannequin and calls 911. On Sunday night, Jocelyn Nungaray's mother, Alexis reminds her not to stay up too late as Jocelyn is going to work with her mother in the morning.  Alexis tells Jocelyn goodnight at 10 pm and turns in for the night herself.  A little later when she is certain her mother is asleep, Jocelyn sneaks out of the house and goes to a local convenience store. It is around midnight when she calls her 13-year-old boyfriend, who says he hears Jocelyn talking to some adults before he hangs up the phone.  After talking to her boyfriend, Jocelyn is seen on camera at a local 7-Eleven convenience store.  In the pictures, Jocelyn Nungaray is seen with two other people, both adults.  It's possibly the same people with whom her boyfriend overheard Jocelyn talking. Around the same time Billie Jean Jackson is calling 911, Alexis Nungaray is preparing to wake up her 5-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter, Jocelyn Nungaray. Finding Jocelyn gone, Alexis reportedly pings her daughter’s cell phone location, which traces the phone to a creek near 400 West Rankin Road Alexis Nungaray arrives at the spot where her daughter Jocelyn's phone pings and sees police tape is up and police are canvassing the area. Alexis Nungaray tells police her daughter is missing, and she is there because this is where her phone last pinged. “FRIENDS” MATTHEW PERRY OD DEATH IN HOT TUB: Doctor to Plead Guilty?

Matthew Perry wrote about his issues with addiction to alcohol and drugs. In his memoir, he said he began drinking at 14 and was an alcoholic by 18. Perry first went to rehab and completed a 28-day program at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation after a jet-ski accident led to an addiction to Vicodin. In his 2022 memoir, "Friends, Lovers, and the Big, Terrible Thing," Perry claimed to have been to rehab 15 times, detoxed 65 times, and spent about $7 to $9 million trying to get sober.     After years of addiction, Matthew Perry spent 5-months in the hospital after his colon burst from prolonged opioid abuse. Perry says he was in surgery for seven hours and in a coma for two weeks. Doctors told his family he had a 2% chance of survival. After leaving the hospital, Perry used a colostomy bag for months.   Two years after his near-death experience, Matthew Perry goes to a Rehab facility in Switzerland. He wrote that he faked pain symptoms to get Oxycontin during COVID. He was also getting daily Ketamine infusions. While at the facility, Perry needed to have surgery and was given propofol. When he woke up 11 hours later, he found out his heart had stopped for 5 minutes and during the long CPR process 8 of his ribs were broken. The doctor then refused more meds.   On October 28, Matthew Perry went to his country club to play a game of Pickleball with friends. Perry returned to his home after the game and was seen by his assistant, who was leaving the house to run errands. At 4 p.m., the assistant returned home and found Perry floating face down in the heated end of the pool.  Paramedics pulled Perry out of the pool and pronounced him dead at the scene. Prosecutors have already implicated Jasveen Sangha, known as the "Ketamine Queen," who sold the drug involved in Matthew Perry's death. She is also connected to other customer deaths, and prosecutors believe there are likely more victims given the volume of drugs Sangha sold. Sangha remains in custody without bond in connection with Perry's death. Drug dealer Eric Fleming, who reportedly served as a program director at the Bel-Air rehab Red Door, also had a resident die of an overdose while under his watch. Court documents reveal the close ties between Sangha, Fleming, and assistant Kenneth Iwamasa. Iwamasa told Fleming he "cleaned up the scene" by disposing of ketamine vials and syringes and "deleted everything." Fleming then informed Sangha that he believed they were protected since he never dealt with Perry directly, only through Iwamasa, who would be considered Perry's "enabler." In their communications, Sangha and Fleming refer to Perry using the code name "Chandler." The doctor directly implicated in Matthew Perry’s ketamine overdose, Dr. Salvador Plasencia, now agreeds to plead guilty for his part in Perry's death.   See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Friday Night Special: Jeffrey Epstein Explosive Documents, Do They Exist?

Six years after his death, convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein is back in the news, and despite the FBI maintaining that the millionaire financer committed suicide in prison, doubts linger. The  existence of Epstein documents and whether they will be released on many minds.  Despite clams by Government officials they there are thousand of videos and pictures to review, officials  confirmed there is no “Epstein client list, ”  meaning wealthy and powerful men who were provided with underage girls for sex.   Attorney General Pam Bondi Bondi released what she called the "first phase" of the declassified Epstein files in February. flight logs, an evidence list and a redacted list of contacts. The AG said at the time the Justice Department would release more case files after redacting victims’ names. When asked Bondi said a list of Epstein’s clients, was on her for review."  but in this month’s memo,   the Justice Department said there was "no incriminating ‘client list.’"  and when pressed about it Bondi side stepped the issue.   The memo stated quote “There was also no credible evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions. We did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties."  With the political furor growing, President Donald Trump, said on Thursday  he has asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to release grand jury testimony related to Epstein's criminal prosecution.  Bondi replied in a social media post,   “President Trump — we are ready to move the court tomorrow to unseal the grand jury transcripts.”   Attorney General Pam Bondi has been in office just two weeks when she announced the release of documents related to the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The Justice Department issued a statement alongside "Phase 1," clarifying that the declassified files largely contained previously leaked documents that had never been formally released by the U.S. government. While many expected Epstein’s client list to reveal explosive details, most of the roughly 200-page release consisted of previously circulated information, including Epstein’s contact list and flight logs from his private jet. Amid public disappointment, Bondi sent a letter to FBI Director Kash Patel, claiming a source at the New York FBI Field Office informed her that thousands of pages of Epstein-related documents remained in the agency’s possession. She demanded the remaining files be delivered to her office by 8:00 a.m. the next day and ordered Patel to investigate why her directives had not been followed. Bondi has since stated that her office received a "truckload of evidence," which she says includes the remaining Epstein documents the FBI had withheld. She claims Director Patel is investigating the reason for the delay while other agents work to redact the remaining files. Bondi promised, “If something’s redacted, you will know the line and you will know why it’s redacted.” Many anticipate new indictments based on the documents’ contents.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

VANISHED YOUNG MOM, 26, MISSING AFTER GETTING IN PICKUP WITH 2 MYSTERY MEN

Young mom, Sara Ebersole, vanishes without a trace and her family is still searching for answers. On March 31, 2023, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office post a release about Sara’s disappearance. According to the post, Sara was captured on security footage on March 2, 2023, at around 10:00 p.m., in the area of the Circle K gas station located at 17980 N Highway 441 in Reddick, Florida. The release also states Sara willingly left the convenience store in a black pickup truck with two unknown males. The then-26-year-old Ebersole was given a ride from the convenience store to a residence located off Highway 441 in Reddick. She was dropped off at the home with another individual. Sara spent a portion of that night with a male, who lived in one-half of a subdivided residence. The sheriff’s office states that at around 1:25 a.m. on March 3, 2023, that male known as James Robinson begins texting a man identified as Morman. In those messages, Robinson mentions Ebersole is “hanging out” at his home. During the conversation, Morman asks if Ebersole would be interested in meeting him and asked if he could come to Robinson’s residence. Robinson agreed, and Morman arrived shortly thereafter.  According to Sara's family, she goes missing on March 3, 2023, from Reddick, Florida and Sara's Gmail timeline was viewed and deleted and her iCloud location shows on and she's using YouTube until 240am. FAMILY IN 'LIVING HELL' AS CALIFORNIA TEACHER VANISHES FROM YOGA RETREAT: WHERE'S NANCY?

Nancy Ng's family pleads for answers after the 29-year-old teacher’s aide disappears while on a yoga retreat in Guatemala. After she disappeared, members of the group allegedly made plans to quickly depart the country, leaving her relatives seeking closure. Nancy Ng is last seen in Lake Atitlán, Guatemala on October 19, 2023. She disappears during a kayak excursion while on a week-long yoga retreat. On October 14, 2023, Nancy Ng left the US to embark on a week-long yoga retreat in Guatemala. She had been a yoga enthusiast for about four years and her trip to the “Be the Change” yoga retreat was her second in two years. Around 10:30 am on October 19, 2023, Nancy goes for a kayak excursion with a group of ten participants on Lake Atitlán, known as the deepest lake in Central America and is last seen by a participant named Christina Blazek when the two bump into each other in the middle of the lake. They chat for a moment and Nancy says she wants to go for a swim. Christina Blazek says she cautions against the idea to swim because of rough waters, but Nancy jumps into the water anyway. Blazek, who spoke through her attorney, G. Christopher Gardner, denies rumors she has not been willing to help police with the investigation. Christina Blazek, a San Bernadino County public defender, has been named as the last known witness to see Nancy. While out on the water, Blazek says, through her attorney, that Nancy decides she wants to go swimming. Blazek allegedly tries to stop Nancy from entering the water “because it was rough and there was a strong current, according to his client’s account, Nancy ignores her alleged warnings and goes into the water. Blazek claims she tries to retrieve Ng’s kayak after it starts rapidly floating away by keeping one leg in her boat and another leg in the other kayak and got close to the swimmer to push it back to her. Guatemalan authorities believe Ng drowned in a local lake, but her family still wants more answers as to what happened the day Nancy left to Kayak and never returned.  GoFundMe: Help Us Find Nancy and Support the Ng Family: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-us-find-nancy-and-support-the-ng-family Joining Nancy Grace today, Nicky Ng - Sister of Nancy Ng AND Jonathan Ng - Brother of Nancy Ng Wendy Patrick- California prosecutor, President and Founder of Black Swan Verdicts, Author: "Why Bad Looks Good", 2nd BOOK: "Reading People: How to Understand People and Predict Their Behavior -- Anytime, Anyplace" 3rd BOOK: "Red Flags: Frenemies, Underminers, and Ruthless People" wendypatrickphd.com, ‘Today with Dr Wendy’ on KCBQ in San Diego, Twitter: @WendyPatrickPHD Dr. Shavaun Scott - Psychotherapist, Author of “The Minds of Mass Killers: Understanding and Interrupting the Pathway to Violence” and "Game Addiction: The Experience and the Effects"  FB: Shavaun.scott IN: shavaunscott  Website: shavaunscott.com  Scott Eicher - A founding member of the FBI’s Cellular Analysis Survey Team (C.A.S.T); Historical Cellular Analysis Expert; Former FBI agent of 22 years; Former Police Officer and Homicide Detective with Norfolk Virgina Police Dept. having served 12 years; Has worked several missing persons cases. Rainey Street Ripper Strikes Again? More Death at Lady Bird Lake

In 1960, Lady Bird Lake was built by the city of Austin. The river-like reservoir was created as a cooling pond for Austin's then-new city power plant. The 416-acre lake is now primarily used for recreation, but many in the area are now concerned is it the hunting ground for a killer. There have been multiple deaths reported since 2022.  The total now up to 38 deaths.   Even though police have given no indication there are signs of foul play, social media has lit up with speculation. According to the San Antonio Current, rumors of a serial killer hunting young men and dumping their bodies in Lady Bird Lake ran rampant. That's when Police recovered the bodies of Jason John, Clifton Axtell, Jonathon Honey, and Christopher Hays-Clark — all between the ages of 20 and 40 and all recovered from Lady Bird Lake. Reegan Aparicio says she has no doubts that her longtime boyfriend Chris Hays-Clark was placed in Lady Bird Lake. The dental nurse says despite police assurances that there was no foul play in Hays-Clark's death, she believes he was already dead when he went into the water. Friday Night Special: 'PORNY' MORMON DENTIST MURDERS WIFE, BIZARRE TWISTS LEADING TO START OF TRIAL

The lead up to James Craig’s trial has been bizarre.....two postponements, three different attorney teams, five added charges and a crazy action from an attorney, who allegedly set his own house on fire. Still, the Aurora dentist’s trial finally got underway yesterday.  Craig faces six  felony counts:  Murder in the first degree  Two counts of solicitation to commit tampering with physical evidence  Three counts of solicitation to commit perjury in the first degree  Court Documents show Craig, jailed on a murder charge of his wife, Angela Craig, still allegedly worked to convince inmates, a former mistress and even one of his own children to tamper with evidence, to plant it to make it look like Angela Craig wanted to kill herself.   Prosecutors say James Craig even made a botched murder-for-hire attempt on the case’s lead detective just before a second attempt at trial  last year.   Craig allegedly offered people cash and dental work in return for a coverup .   Craig insists  he ordered poison because she asked him to.  James Craig and his wife Angela were married for over 20 years. They created a beautiful family of six, loving, happy family, happy children. Between work and taking care of their children, the Craigs still manage to fit a workout into their daily routine. The husband and wife go for a run or hit the gym together almost every day, and when they return home, James Craig makes protein shakes or fruit smoothies for breakfast while Angela delves into getting the kids ready for the day.    Angela complains of having a really nasty headache, along with problems focusing her eyesight.  She goes to the hospital saying she felt tingly and cold.   Doctors cannot figure out what's wrong with her.   Angela goes to the hospital multiple times, only to be sent home.  When she goes back for a third time, that's when she's checked in and her condition deteriorates, coding quickly.  Angela passes away.  One of Summer Brooks’ dental assistants recalls opening a package for Dr. Craig—that had potassium cyanide in it. She googles the symptoms of cyanide poisoning, and is horrified at how closely they match Angela’s symptoms. She immediately calls Craig’s partner, Ryan Redfearn, hoping he has some other explanation for the contents of the package...but he doesn’t. While visiting Angela, Redfearn tells a nurse about the cyanide, explaining there’s no medical use for the element in their practice. As a mandatory reporter, the nurse calls police.   With suspicions raised, Angela Craig is sent for an autopsy with additional toxicology screening. Tests reveal the otherwise healthy mom of six died of poisoning from both cyanide and tetrahydrozoline, a common ingredient in eyedrops. While investigators have no definitive evidence Angela’s food and drinks were poisoned with cyanide, the tests reveal her cyanide levels increased while she was in the hospital.    Police then check Craig's computer finding strange searches.  One of them was how to poison someone, how to make poison and top five or top 10 undetectable poisons that people won't be able to find after someone has died and will not signal foul play. Less than 24 hours after his wife’s death, dentist James Toliver Craig is arrested for Angela’s murder and additionally charged with tampering with evidence. A 52-page arrest affidavit details Craig’s concerning computer searches, three poison orders, an ongoing affair, and proof Craig took several measures to cover his tracks.    Police then learn the dentist  allegedly tried to hire his cellmate to kill Aurora PD’s lead detective Bobbi Jo Olson for $20,000. Calling Olson the “worst, dirtiest detective,” James Craig tried to recruit Nathaniel Harris to take her out for cash or free dental work. Olson wasn’t the only person on his list. Craig also asked Harris to kill another Aurora PD officer and two inmates ‘Roger’ and ‘Tommy.’  Joining Nancy Grace today: Eric Faddis - Trial Lawyer and TV Legal Analyst, Founding Partner of Varner Faddis Elite Legal, former felony prosecutor and current criminal defense and civil litigation attorney Dr. Shavaun Scott -  Psychotherapist, Author of “The Minds of Mass Killers: Understanding and Interrupting the Pathway to Violence” Fil Waters  - Former homicide detective for the Houston police department, President & CEO of Kindred spirits Investigations & Security, Inc., kindredspiritsinvestigations.com Dr Ernest Chiodo  - Attorney, Physician, Biomedical Engineer, Toxicologist, Author: “Toxic Tort: Medical and Legal Elements”, www.ernestpchiodo.com Steffan Tubbs -  Host:  'Arsenic, DDS - The Bizarre Case of Dr. James Craig'; Former pati

DIDDY BEHIND BARS WEEK ONE

Sean 'Diddy' Combs, disgraced music mogul, begins a new fight for a lighter sentence. It remains unclear when the rapper will learn his punishment. Currently, Combs is preparing for his sentencing, which is scheduled for October 3, 2025. Combs was sent back to jail to await sentencing after a dramatic verdict day that saw him cleared of the most serious charges he faced—a partial victory. However, he was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. It remains uncertain how much longer the disgraced rapper—who has already spent nine months in jail—may remain behind bars following his sentencing. Diddy has not been seen in public since September 2024, after his arrest on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. His attorneys told the judge that he is willing to comply with the strictest bail conditions, especially after enduring ten grueling months in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, where he is housed with high-profile inmates such as Luigi Mangione and Sam Bankman-Fried. Combs’ trial has been explosive, featuring bizarre sexual testimony, explicit videos, and references to some of Hollywood’s biggest names. A central figure in the trial was Cassie, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend and the state’s star witness, who testified while visibly pregnant.      See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

ORIGINAL "GONE GIRL" SHERRI PAPINI'S BIZARRE U-TURN CLAIM SHE WAS KIDNAPPED DESPITE JAILTIME FOR HOAX

After Sherri Papini, a young mom and wife, pleads guilty to making false statements and one count of mail fraud in connection with lying about being kidnapped in 2016, she recently came forward to switch her story once again denying she was ever held captive Sherri Papini went to jail after admitting her alleged 2016 kidnapping was a hoax, but after her release, she’s giving a different explanation now to why she should be viewed as innocent of those charges. Sherri Papini gained worldwide attention in 2016 when she went missing for 22 days after she is abducted while out on a jog near her home just north of Redding California. Sherri is reported missing on January 2022 by her husband Keith, after she was reported going for a jog in her neighborhood. California young mom makes headlines in 2016 when she goes missing while on a jog near her Redding, California, home and her ever changing stories haven't stopped since. First big development is when she shockingly is rescued on a road 22 days after her alleged abduction, Thanksgiving Day. The young mom is rescued after being seen running down a highway in distress. She isd arrested for falsely telling authorities she had been abducted and tortured, claiming she was beaten and branded by captors.  Ultimately, the mother of two is ultimately arrested in 2022 for orchestrating her own abduction. She pleads guilty to a federal judge later that year and is sentenced to 18 months in jail for committing mail fraud and lying to a federal officer about being kidnapped. Sherri Papini admits to lying about being kidnapped in 2016 but now claims she did not lie about being held captive in the new docuseries Sherri Papini: Caught in the Lie. Earlier this year, Investigation Discovery’s Caught in the Lie featuring Sherri Panini, illustrates claims by Papini that James Reyes is allegedly responsible for her kidnapping. Reyes disputes the allegations when interviewed by government officials and is never officially charged in connection to her kidnapping. DIDDY WHAT?: COURT Hearing OVER IN JUST SECONDS 1 Week After Verdict, DEFENSE "DIDDY IMAGE MAKEOVER

Sean 'Diddy" Combs' legal team drops push for expedited sentencing. Defense attorneys sought to expedite Combs' sentencing after his verdict last week, but indicated they conferred with federal prosecutors and agree on the original date proposed last week by Judge Subramanian. The decision was made yesterday, Tuesday (July 8) during a virtual quick hearing that was scheduled after Combs’ legal team requested an expedited hearing. Sentencing date set for Sean “Diddy” Combs following his federal conviction, the disgraced rap mogul will learn his fate on Oct. 3, 2025, after being found guilty on two federal counts of transporting women across state lines for prostitution but being found not guilty on the more serious crimes that can carry up to life in prison, racketing and sex trafficking. Combs' defense team is reportedly pushing for the minimum sentence of 21 to 27 months behind bars. The prosecution, on the other hand, says the sentencing guidelines call for 51 to 63 months and allegedly will likely seek an even longer sentence. Judge Subramanian previously noted the time Combs already spent in jail will count towards his final sentence. The native New Yorker and rap mogul has been jailed since his initial arrest last September and will remain behind bars until his sentencing. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

BOMBSHELL: BARRY MORPHEW CHARGED FOR SECOND TIME WITH WIFE SUZANNE’s MURDER

A Colorado husband and father arrested again in connection with the murder of his wife years after previous charges were dropped, a grand jury indicts Barry Morphew on first-degree murder. In 2021, Morphew was charged with first-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence after his wife, Suzanne, went missing on Mother's Day in 2020, but those charges were later dropped before his trial date and a year before Suzanne's remains were found. Suzanne Morphew, 49, was last seen on Mother's Day, May 10, 2020, in Maysville, Colorado, after leaving her home for a bike ride. Later that evening, Suzanne's mountain bike is found near the home, and her helmet is found in a different location nearby a few days later. A massive search for Suzanne spans over a three-year period until her remains are uncovered in a shallow grave in Saguache just a few hundred feet down a dirt road, the indictment states. An autopsy report states drugs typically used to tranquilize animals were found in her system. Morphew was all smiles at his court appearance.  Join Nancy Grace to unfold what's next for Barry Morphew. Hearing today weighs timeline for Sean 'Diddy' Combs sentencing | Crime Alert 6AM 07.08.25

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ next court appearance will be virtual hearing and take place later today.  This procedural session is slated to begin at 2 p.m. Eastern and will determine whether Combs’ sentencing—currently scheduled for October 3rd—can be expedited. A gunman armed with an assault rifle opened fire Monday morning at a U.S. Border Patrol facility in McAllen, Texas — injuring a police officer before he was shot and killed by federal agents.  Three people are dead, and ten others hurt after gunfire erupted early Monday in South Philadelphia.  Alabama has scheduled a September execution using nitrogen gas for a death row inmate convicted more than two decades ago. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

DIDDY WATCH: CLOCK TICKING DOWN ON DIDDY HEARING IN JUST HOURS

Sean 'Diddy' Combs, disgraced rap mogul, is denied bail after being acquitted on sex trafficking and racketeering charges, the most serious charges against him that could have landed him life in prison, and found guilty only of transportation to engage in prostitution.  Judge Arun Subramanian set a tentative sentencing date of Oct. 3 but is considering the defense’s request for it to be sooner at a virtual hearing scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. Last week after 'Diddy's' verdict, Judge Subramanian ruled from the bench that Combs is a risk to public safety and must remain behind bars until his sentencing. The judge cites substantial evidence presented during the trial alleging Combs' violent history involving former partners and employees. “It is impossible for the defendant to demonstrate by clear and convincing evidence that he poses no danger,” Subramanian said from the bench. Unless the judge rules in favor of the defense, Combs will spend months awaiting sentencing at a notoriously understaffed and violent Brooklyn jail, where the music mogul has called home for nearly ten months. Many of Combs' victims wrote the court pleading for the rap mogul to remain behind bars in fear for their lives and safety.  Follow Crime Stories with Nancy Grace for the latest on Sean 'Diddy' Combs' court hearings.    See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Music Star-Sex-Perv R. Kelly Whines of 'POPULARITY ' in Prison Turn to Fear

Recording artist R. Kelly is serving a 30-year sentence for his racketeering and sex trafficking conviction. In the last days, the Supreme Court has declined to hear an appeal on claims that prosecutors “stretched” the law in the convictions against him. The justices denied an appeal last month.  Now, Kelly wants to be released to home detention, claiming that federal authorities are plotting to kill Kelly in prison. A defense motion claims Kelly's former cellmate conspired with prison officials to steal mail between him and his attorneys and turn it over to prosecutors before his trial. Kelly's attorneys also claimed prison officials recruited a fellow prison inmate to kill Kelly to keep him from exposing the plot.  Joining Nancy Grace today:  Lisa Van Allen - Victim, testified against R Kelly Brad M. FRIDAY NIGHT SPECIAL: Lady Diddy Wants Out of Jail, Ghislaine Maxwell Appeals Conviction

Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted for her role in a scheme to sexual exploit and abuse multiple minor girls with financier Jeffrey Epstein.  Specifically the charges were conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, conspiracy to transport minors to participate in illegal sex acts, transporting a minor to participate in illegal sex acts, sex trafficking conspiracy, and sex trafficking of a minor.  Prosecutors alleged from at least 1994 to 2004, Maxwell knowingly recruited, groomed, and ultimately abused victims under the age of 18. Some were as young as 14.   Facts laid out in court proved Maxell  befriended victims by asking them about their lives, and taking them to the movies or on shopping trips.  Then, provided guidance for how to deal with Epstein, as in giving massages which lead to sexual acts.    Maxwell was sentenced to  20-years. Maxwell first appealed her conviction, but the Appeals Court denied her motion.  Now Ghislaine Maxwell has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn her sex trafficking conviction,  arguing she was covered by a non-prosecution agreement the government made with her former lover, Jeffrey Epstein. The Supreme Court has not yet ruled on Ghislaine Maxwell's appeal, and has not even decided whether to take the case.         See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

PROSECUTOR'S DEAL WITH THE DEVIL, CRIES IN COURT: KOHBERGER GUILTY

Bryan Kohberger, in court this week, admits he killed four University of Idaho students: Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin. Kohberger agreed to a plea deal when the death penalty was taken off the sentencing table. Family members of the victims were divided about the plea, some saying justice for their loved one was denied. During a court hearing, we learned that Bryan Kohberger did not plan to murder four people. He had a target. We don't know who that target was, but reports say Kohberger allotted on paper what happened that night, and after his sentencing, that information could be made public.
