The Flagship Show: 2020 Halloween Special

We are only one day away from one of the best times of the year, Halloween. As we do each and every year on THE FLAGSHIP SHOW on the CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO NETWORK, we present a program dedicated the horror films; a genre which looks very kindly towards the composers writing the scores for them. A genre that essentially allows a composer to really express themselves and are encouraged to be heard and to manipulate the audience as much as possible. We have another outstanding line-up of scary scores to play for you; new and old including selections from THE HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL (Davis), THE EMPTY MAN (Young), SCARY MOVIE (Kitay), I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER (Debney), RAWHEAD REX (Towns), VILLAGE OF THE DAMNED (Carpenter/Davis), THE HAUNTING (Searle), HORRORS OF THE BLACK MUSEUM (Schurmann) and THE MEDUSA TOUCH (Lewis) Special thanks to Varese Sarabande Records, Silva Screen Records and Hollywood Records for making portions of today's show possible. —— Cinematic Sound Radio is fully licensed to play music by SOCAN. The Flagship Show: La La Land Records Presents... Episode One

On today's episode of THE FLAGSHIP SHOW, we resurrect a themed show that we started producing back in the early 2000s when this very record label was established. La La Land Records has been around since 2002 and since then we’ve produced dozens of shows dedicated exclusively to the label. We’ve also had partnerships with other labels including FILM SCORE MONTHLY, VARESE SARABANDE, KRONOS RECORDS, etc but over the years but these record label themes programs started to wane after a while. The last show dedicated solely to La La Land Records was back in June of 2012. You can still find that show Rby going to http://www.cinematicsound.net/la-la-land-records-round-up/ So, today, we thought we’d give this other go. La La Land Records has kindly supplied the program with some of their more recent releases and we’ll include a score from their back catalogue as chosen by you on Twitter. On the program today you'll hear selections from FAR AND AWAY by John Williams, SLIVER with music by Howard Shore and additional music by Christopher Young, MYSTERY MEN by Stephen Warbeck with additional music by Shirley Walker, POINT BREAK by Mark Isham, and CASPER by James Horner. Plus, we’ll pay tribute to one of the greatest guitar heroes of all time, Eddie Van Halen, who lost his battle with cancer on October 6th. We will spin the track "Respect The Wind" from TWISTER in his honour. A big thank you to MV Gerhard and Matt Verboys at La La Land Records and Tim Burden for making this show possible —— Cinematic Sound Radio is fully licensed to play music by SOCAN. Interview with Penka Kouneva

Welcome to the latest in the continuing series of film, TV and video game composer interviews on the CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO NETWORK. Penka Kouneva arrived in Hollywood in the year 2000 with dreams of working as a composer in the film industry, but with no money or connections. The classically trained musician was born in Sofia, Bulgaria and came to the U.S. in 1990 to study music at Duke University, where she achieved a PhD in composition. Since arriving in Los Angeles 20 years ago, Penka has been led by determination and has managed to work as an accomplished orchestrator and composer for videos games (LEAGUE OF LEGENDS, PRINCE OF PERSIA, and THE MUMMY) and feature films (Oscar contender AGA, Sony Pictures’ ENCOUNTER and DEVIL'S WHISPER). In 2019, Penka scored The CW Network’s sci-fi drama PANDORA from creator Mark A. Altman—her first network television series in collaboration with Joe Kraemer. PANDORA is set in the year 2199, where a young woman named Jax who has lost everything, finds a new life at Earth's Space Training Academy where she learns to defend the galaxy from intergalactic threats. The co-composers created a futuristic-sounding orchestral-hybrid score and utilized their individual strengths, but ultimately created something coherent and stylistically holistic. The composer had a fascination with the sci-fi genre at an early age, given that her father was a scientist. And because she grew up in Bulgaria (a former communist country), she was intrigued by planes and rockets because they symbolized freedom to her. Much like the main character in PANDORA, Penka forged her own path undaunted by challenges—all she had were big dreams and ambition. In June 2020, for the CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO NETWORK, Jason Drury spoke to Penka Kouneva via Zoom at her home in Los Angeles. During the show, they will talk about PANDORA, how Penka came to Hollywood under the wing of composer Patrick Williams and her work as an orchestrator and composer. Also, during the show, you will be hearing more music from PANDORA and other projects featuring the music of Penka Kourneva. Enjoy! Soundtrack Alley: Premiere Episode - Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Welcome to the premiere episode of SOUNDTRACK ALLEY here on CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO. SOUNDTRACK ALLEY is a podcast hosted and produced by Randy Andrews who is also the host and producer of ANIME SPECTACULAR here on the network. SOUNDTRACK ALLEY has been around for many years and I’ve been honoured to be a guest on his show many times to discuss numerous topics like STAR TREK, INDIANA JONES, and CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND. The show is a discussion formatted program where Randy invites a special guest to talk about one of his favourite films and film scores. The discussion usually ranges from 90 minutes to 2 hours in length with in-depth discussions of the film and music. Randy has produced close to 100 episodes of the show which also included various composer interviews. A few days ago, Randy came to me and told me that he was thinking of moving SOUNDTRACK ALLEY to CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO. We had a lengthy discussion to make sure this is what he wanted and after going over the details we agreed to bring all-new episodes of the podcast over the network. However, the entire archive of previous SOUNDTRACK ALLEY episodes will stay on the original server as an archive. We did this so fans of the show could still access the older programs without having to bring them all onto the CSR servers. The first episode to premiere here on CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO is a discussion between myself and Randy Andrews about the film and score to INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL released in 2008. The film was the fourth instalment in the Indiana Jones series set in 1957, pitting Indiana Jones against Soviet agents – led by Irina Spalko – searching for a telepathic crystal skull. The original score for the film was composed and conducted by John Williams and performed by The Hollywood Symphony Orchestra. We hope you enjoy the discussion, the music and all future episodes of SOUNDTRACK ALLEY. Enjoy! And now, here is Randy Andrews statement on SOUNDTRACK ALLEY joining CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO. —— Hi, I’m Randy Andrews, you might know me from ANIME SPECTACULAR. I wanted to give you a very brief history of SOUNDTRACK ALLEY. I was always impressed by podcasting, and I’ve always had a love of film music. About 6 years ago, I began listening to a local podcast that encouraged its listeners to call in or send an mp3 for a recorded answer. I did so many times. Soon, my comments became more and more intriguing for the host. They encouraged me to start my own podcast about soundtracks. About a half year later, I did my research and bought a podcast microphone and started recording shows, not really knowing what I was doing. By my 11th episode, I was interviewing big-name composers like Craig Safan from THE LAST STARFIGHTER. Then I discovered CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO while at work and it changed my life! I got in touch with Erik Woods and asked him if he would like to be on my our program to discuss CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND.. He accepted and from there, he introduced me to the Krakower Group headed up by the late Beth Krakower and they helped me to interview more composers like Blake Neely, Elik Elverez, and Rolf Kent jus to mention a few. I also took the initiative to reach out to composers on my own such as Lesley Barber, Sharon Farber, Bruce Rowland, and Rob Cairns. Over the years, SOUNDTRACK ALLEY has gone through a couple of iterations and transitions due do unforeseen circumstances and the latest version of the podcast unfortunately hasn’t been doing as well as I hoped. I needed another change. This is where Erik Woods and CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO comes into play. I’ve always wanted to share my love of films and film music with as many people as possible and this transition over to CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO gives me that opportunity. CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO is one of the best venue’s for film, TV and video game music radio/podcasting and I’m thrilled to bring my show to the network and all of the loyal, long time listeners of CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO. I want to thank Erik Woods for all the encouragement over the years as he has been the biggest supporter of me and SOUNDTRACK ALLEY. A new chapter has begun and I can’t wait to share my passion with you all. To be included in such an amazing family of podcasts is an honour. Interview with Brad Fiedel

Welcome to a Cinematic Sound Radio Network Interview Special featuring film composer, musician and writer Brad Fiedel. Raised in Bayville, New York on Long Island on March 10, 1951, Fiedel graduated from The Barlow School. After college, he became a popular and progressive composer, and in the 1980s, he worked on several successful movies, predominantly in the action and thriller genres, and pioneered the use of electronic instruments and synthesizers—almost disappearing from the mainstream at the end of the 1990s. He was the keyboardist for Hall and Oates. He began his career in film in the late 1970s, and wrote extensively for television films and minor cinema releases, until director James Cameron hired him to score the science fiction film The Terminator in 1984, setting the wheels in motion for a successful career. Since then, Fiedel has scored many popular and successful movies, including FRIGHT NIGHT (1985) and its sequel FRIGHT NIGHT PART 2 (1988), THE BIG EASY (1987), THE SERPENT AND THE RAINBOW (1988), THE ACCUSED (1988), BLUE STEEL (1990), TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY (1991), BLINK (1994), and TRUE LIES (1994). His last major theatrical score was in 1995, and although he enjoyed a brief period of renewed interest following the release of TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES in 2003, when Marco Beltrami wrote an orchestral arrangement of his TERMINATOR theme, Fiedel shows no sign of returning to the film music field. In recent years, Fiedel moved on to other creative areas, which has included writing original musicals. His latest is FULL CIRCLE. Based loosely on events from Fiedel’s grandfather’s life. The story centres on Sarah, a teenager who is stuck in her New York City Apartment. She is so sensitive and empathetic that she is no longer able to tolerate going out in public. She absorbs the feelings and thoughts of others so deeply that she loses control of her body movements, causing intolerable pain and embarrassment. The appearance of her mysterious estranged grandfather creates a possibility for them to work together trying to solve a mystery that has haunted the family for years and is the cause of much suffering. Working alone in his home studio, Fiedel was able to assemble various recordings he had of the songs, scenes and narration to create a complete audio experience of the show When plans for this spring fell apart including a trip to London for the premiere of his iconic Terminator score to be played live at the Royal Albert Hall, Brad Fiedel had a lot of time on his hands. “ Stuck at home, I decided to take the opportunity to complete this musical that had been needing my attention for a long time. It’s a project that’s very close to my heart and imagining people at home experiencing it really made the whole process feel worthwhile.” FULL CIRCLE, the two-act musical was released on all digital platforms on June 24th. In June 2020, for the Cinematic Sound Radio Network, Jason Drury talked to Brad Fiedel, via Zoom at his home in Santa Barbara, California. During the interview, we talked extensively about FULL CIRCLE as well as his film music career, his work on the TERMINATOR movies, working with James Cameron and why he decided to retire from film and TV music. Also during the show, we will hear songs from FULL CIRCLE, as well as music from the film scores of Brad Fiedel, in particular, from his 2 iconic scores, THE TERMINATOR and TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY. The Flagship Show: James Horner End Credit Suites

In today’s program, we’ll be paying tribute once again to two-time Academy Award-winning composer James Horner. It has been five years since his tragic death and CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO once again is paying tribute to the composer by playing more of his music. Back in the 1970s, James Horner dreamt of a career as a concert composer, but it was film scoring that was to be his true calling, and it would take him 30 years to finally return to the concert hall with Pas De Deux. One can argue that Horner was always writing concert works as he broke convention by producing extended cues that retained the long-form structures observed in classical music. End Credits similarly offered Horner the opportunity to write pure music which could be enjoyed without visuals; stand-alone compositions that developed the thematic and motivic material introduced in the score, but free of any narrative, dramatic tone or tempo obligations from their cinematic counterpart. On today’s program we will be playing end credit cues composed by James Horner from such films as A BEAUTIFUL MIND, CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER, GLORY, WHERE THE RIVER RUNS BLACK, RANSOM, ONCE UPON A FOREST, LIVING IN THE AGE OF AIRPLANES and many more. Interview With Vivek Maddala

On today’s show, Jason Drury interviews composer Vivek Maddala. Vivek is a two-time Emmy-winning composer for his music in the Cartoon Network series The Tom and Jerry Show. His most recent project is the thought-provoking PBS documentary series Asian Americans, which casts a new lens on U.S. history and the ongoing role that Asian Americans have played. Each of the five episodes contains wall-to-wall music, and Vivek created different themes which evolve alongside the storytelling throughout the series. Asian Americans premiered on PBS on May 11th 2020. For the score, he intentionally threaded recurring themes into the story to help the audience connect the dots and see the parallels between these oppressive situations that Asian Americans have endured throughout history in the U.S. One of the themes Vivek created is called “resigned acceptance,” which he explains is the decision of the oppressed to not rebel, but to unite and better their own situation as best as possible. Overall, the composer set out to create a cohesive sound to represent the commonality among the oppressed, who ultimately overcame their injustices and triumphed. The score is stylistically diverse—featuring jarring percussion, brooding electronica, 19th-century European orchestral music, modern rock, and bebop. In May 2020, for the Cinematic Sound Radio Network, Jason talked to Vivek, via Skype, at his recording studio in Los Angeles. During the interview, we talked extensively on how he scored the documentary series Asian Americans, his work on The Tom and Jerry Show and how he became a film and TV music composer. Also during the show, Jason will feature music by Vivek Maddala including from the documentary Asian Americans, a score he crafted to help tell the story of this culturally oppressed group throughout American history. Interview With Florencia Di Concilio

On today’s show, Jason Drury interviews composer Florencia Di Concilio Born in the midst of a South American dictatorship, Florencia Di Concilio grew up in a home full of dusty Italian opera records, hanging out at a young age in nightclubs and cabarets where her father used to play jazz and tango, and making her stage debuts in the underground scene as a punk rock bass player. Defying boundaries, she went on to become an accomplished classical pianist, earning degrees from the New England Conservatory in Boston, winning international competitions and performing internationally as a concert pianist. Through a mastery of classical musical language, and of electronic composition, Florencia Di Concilio has developed a trademark style that can be best described as an orchestration of everyday life. She uses real everyday noises and, through her personal sound processing technique, turns them into musical instruments, and orchestrates them into organic, complex, and architecturally imposing pieces of music. Her music is humanist: it uses a language to which we can immediately relate and which brings us back to what is artistically essential. Recent soundtracks include AVA, prizewinner at the 2017 Cannes Critics’ Fortnight; PUSH, winner of the Audience Award at the 2019 CPHdox and River Phoenix’s posthumous opus DARK BLOOD, and Heddy Honigmann’s latest feature, BUDDY. She was awarded the Grand Prize for Best Original Score at the 2019 Aubagne International Film Festival for her score for the short feature BULLES D’AIR, which was screened at last year’s Director’s Fortnight, in Cannes. Di Concilio has written major symphonic works as a composer-in-residence with the Miami Symphony Orchestra, and two piano concertos that have been performed by both South American and North American symphony orchestras. She has created music for groundbreaking visual artists like Camille Henrot, in a commission from the Jeu de Paume National Gallery in Paris, and for contemporary dance companies such as the CobosMika Dance Company in Barcelona. In March 2020, for Cinematic Sound Radio, Jason talked to Florencia Di Concilio via skype at her home in Paris The main part of the interview was about her recent project, INFLUENCE, a feature documentary that follows the rise and fall of the world’s most notorious public relations and reputation management firm; Bell Pottinger. With only two weeks to create the music for INFLUENCE, Florencia Di Concilio took advantage of the tight deadline to do her favourite thing; compose the film chronologically. Florencia’s conception of an original score is not only a collection of nice tunes but one long, well-structured piece. Because of the limited timeframe, Florencia was discovering the film as she was scoring it, which provides almost like an organic “first impression” sound within the music. Also, since the subject matter is so disturbing, the directors and Florencia decided to bring a subtle sarcasm throughout the music of the film, sometimes caricaturing, but also sometimes very blunt. With no time to go to a studio and record, her mixed score is electronic yet “classical.” Also, during the interview, Florencia also talks about her scoring techniques, how she came to work on the River Phoenix film Dark Blood, her love of organic sampling and highlight her immense enthusiasm for her work. We will also be playing music from Florencia’s acclaimed score for INFLUENCE, as well as samples from the composer’s varied musical palette, from electronics to pure orchestral delight. Happy 70th Alan Silvestri

On this very special episode of CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO and in celebration of Alan Silvestri's recent 70th birthday (March 26th), guest host, Tim Burden, shines the spotlight on the music of Alan Silvestri. During the first part of the show, Tim Burden puts together a little montage, which he lovingly calls "Silvestri Snared", highlighting one of Silvestri's favourite percussive devices. Afterwards, Tim presents a previously unheard composer commentary. In 2015, Tim sat down with Alan Silvestri as part of the Belfast Cinemagic Film Festival to talk about THE AVENGERS' "Helicarrier Sequence", STUART LITTLE's "Boat Race" and his beautiful score to Robert Zemeckis' CASTAWAY. And as an added bonus, and just in time for its 35th anniversary, Tim has included some commentary from recording engineer, Dennis Sands, about the brilliant "Clocktower Sequence" from BACK TO THE FUTURE. Silvestri will also take you on a journey through the preparation of composing the music for that sequence. I think you will agree that this is one of the most fascinating and educational episodes of CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO ever produced for the network. The Flagship Show: Favourite Scores of the Decade (2010-2019) - Part 1

On today's new episode of THE FLAGSHIP SHOW on CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO, I begin a four-part series dedicated to my favourite scores from the past ten years. On part one I’ll be talking about and playing music from my number 20 – 16 favourite scores of the past decade. You'll be hearing music from such composers as Andy Hull, Robert McDowell, Marco Beltrami, James Newton Howard, Christopher Willis, Theodore Shapiro and Jonny Greenwood. Selecting the scores for these shows was an interesting exercise. I had to go back through all my best-of lists since 2010, listen to all the top 5 scores from those years and then pick my 20 favourites. Putting them in order was the toughest part because, in all honesty, I love all of these scores featured in these shows. I was actually contemplating presenting them alphabetically to make it easier for me, but that would be cheating and wouldn’t be as interesting or as fun! Again, these are my favourites. No doubt you are going to have a much different list. If you do, please share it with me on Twitter, Facebook or on cinematicsound.net. I’d love to read what you liked over the past ten years! Composer Conversations With David Coscina - Episode 1: Christopher Willis

Welcome to the premiere episode of COMPOSER CONVERSATIONS WITH DAVID COSCINA on CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO. —- Note from David Coscina: The idea of this show was born out of discussions with Erik Woods and some film composer friends of mine revolving around the concept of shop talk between musicians. I’ve re-visited Facebook messages and emails I’ve traded with these amazingly talented folks and enjoyed the level of candidness that sometimes eludes them in formal press interviews. There is often a lot more that goes into the craft of writing and producing music for media than many are aware of. I’ve always wanted to hear more about the process these successful composers apply on a daily basis to provide the exhilarating, dynamic, moving music they come up with. Hopefully, this show will explore these kinds of avenues and more. Thanks for tuning in and enjoy! —— On the premiere episode of COMPOSER CONVERSATIONS, David chatted with IFMCA Award-winning composer, Christopher Willis (Veep, Mickey Mouse, The Death of Stalin) whose critically acclaimed score to THE PERSONAL HISTORY OF DAVID COPPERFIELD was released back in January of 2020. The film made its rounds at film festivals in 2019, premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival in September of 2019. The film received its theatrical release in the UK in January and will be making its way to North America in May. Enjoy the show! And when you are done leave David comment below to let his know how much you enjoyed the show. —— ABOUT DAVID COSCINA: David grew up with music in his home and was exposed at an early age to a broad spectrum of music genres but it was orchestral music, specifically soundtracks, that resonated most with him. At 10 years of age, David began playing the piano and composing. In high school, he played in several concert bands and jazz orchestras that led him to pursue music at York University in the late ‘80s where he studied under David Mott for jazz theory and James Tenney for composition. While at York. David scored several student films and became more focussed on music for film. Upon graduating, David provided more music for friends’ films and was one of two composers considered for scoring Paris, France (1992). The decade also saw the composer provide orchestral arrangements for rock/pop songs. In 1998, David scored 3 short films for Toronto independent filmmaker David Sutherland including “My Father’s Hands” which met with great critical reception. The composer’s score was also nominated for a Golden Sheaf Award later that year. David also scored Marilyn Grey’s “Vicious Cycles” later that year. In 2004 David was a finalist in the Yamaha Music Production Contest in the Film Scoring category judged by Matrix composer Don Davis. In 2008 David was awarded Finalist in the Notion Realize Music challenge in the Professional Composer category with his “Musashi Suite for Orchestra”. The panel of judges included the renowned concert composer John Corigliano and film composer Carter Burwell. Of late, the composer has been concentrating on concert pieces and providing music for Cinematic Sound Radio and has enjoyed the diversity it has afforded him stylistically. David’s style, while admittedly eclectic, leans towards early to mid-20th-century orchestral music with a touch of jazz harmonies. The composer has been actively involved in electronic music since 1985 when he purchased his first synthesizer. David’s film music influences are John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, Bernard Herrmann, Lalo Schifrin, John Barry and Elliot Goldenthal. His orchestral influences are Mahler, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Stravinsky, Debussy, Ravel and minimalist composer John Adams. Premiere: Filmic with Ley Bricknell - Episode 1

Welcome to the premiere episode of FILMIC WITH LEY BRICKNELL on CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO. —— Note from Erik Woods: I have been a fan of Ley’s show for years. I first discovered her eclectic program when it was on the RadioNowhere network where it debuted back in 2009. Her month show brought me much joy and I discovered a lot of music I had never heard before AND I even stole a few ideas from her show for myself. For instance, when I was on WROCK Radio I presented a segment called the “John Williams Score of the Week.” Well, that was completely ripped off from Ley’s monthly John Barry segment on her show. Sadly in 2017, RadioNowhere shut down and FILMIC didn’t have a home. Fortunately, Ley began broadcasting her shows on Mixcloud. Back in the fall of 2019, I was losing Brandon Shea-Mutala’s excellent BREAKING THE WAVES program and I immediately put out the call to Ley to see if she was interested in joining CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO to fill the spot. Ley was struggling to find an audience on Mixcloud so I thought her jumping over to CSR was the best way for her to find that audience. I’ve even had the pleasure meet Ley face to face back in the summer of 2016 when she vacationing in Ontario. We went out for a wonderful lunch at a local brewing here in Kitchener-Waterloo. We would have talked forever if we were allowed to, unfortunately, we could only spend and hour chatting about… well… film music of course. Ley is a charming, sweet. funny, friendly, warm human being and I hope I have the honour of meeting her again sometime soon. So, please give a warm CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO welcome to Ley Bricknell and her brilliant show FILMIC. Say hi to Ley in the comments below or send her an email to let her know how much you love her show. I’m sure she would appreciate it! —— On FILMIC's premiere episode here on CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO, which is actually FILMIC’s 71st broadcast, Ley presents some late 2019 releases, new releases, a classic vintage soundtrack from 1947 and a tribute to Kirk Douglas. Composers include John Powell, Ennio Morricone, Brain Easedale and Theodore Shapiro with music from such films as CALL OF THE WILD, MY NAME IS NOBODY, BLACK NARCISSUS, SPIES IN DISGUISE and much, much more. Enjoy! —— ABOUT LEY BRICKNELL A miss-spent youth can be applied to Filmic presenter Ley Bricknell, she missed the Rolling Stones, a lot of classic TV and the phenomena that was Discotheque due to inhaling movies as often as she could. Black & White, Technicolour, world and indie – she watched them all. It became the scores which made the most impression. Whilst friends were boogying on down to the latest chart hits, Ley would spend endless hours listening to the John Barry scores for the 007 films and other movie music. Hard earned cash soon disappeared on soundtracks, be it vinyl or CD (and now downloads) and what started as an interest has grown into a passion with a collection which seriously needs to be put in alphabetical order! Ley has been involved in radio production and broadcasting for over 25 years. Filmic has been on the air for 10 years playing new and vintage scores and together with it’s ‘weird and wonderful’ segments – you never quite know what you’re going to get! Popcorn compulsory. —— Cinematic Sound Radio Web: http://www.cinematicsound.net Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/cinsoundradio Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/cinematicsound Cinematic Sound Radio Fanfare and Theme by David Coscina https://soundcloud.com/user-970634922 Bumper voice artist: Tim Burden http://www.timburden.com

The Flagship Show: Favourite Scores of 2019 - Part 2

On today's new episode of THE FLAGSHIP SHOW on CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO, I conclude my favourite scores of 2019 show with selections five through to one. You'll hear selections from such composers as John Powell, Bobby Krlic, Bear McCreary, Benjamin Wallfisch and Naoki Sato. Sure, you could peek at the list before listening to the show by uncovering the playlist below but where is the fun in that? Please take the time to listen to the show, there is more to this program then just listening to selections from the albums. I wrote close to 6000 words outlining in great detail why I selected these scores and I would really appreciate it if you could pay attention to my words as well as the wonderful music on the show. Ok… on with the show!
