So, I've been following this awesome content creator who's got a killer book and an amazing podcast. When they mentioned their coaching program, I was genuinely interested in soaking up their knowledge. Their call-to-action was a simple "Shoot me a DM." Seems easy but instead of giving me a direct link to buy, they took me on a whole journey.They had two coaching options: one-on-one for $250,000 a year and group coaching for a more reasonable $8,000 a year…talk about price anchoring.By throwing that big number out first, the second option suddenly seemed like a bargain. Many times we find ourselves going through the motions, acting on autopilot without pausing for reflection.So here's what I want you to do…take a moment to sit down and write out all the things you need to accomplish today in order for it to be an outstanding success. Step one is all about defining what winning the day looks like for you. Identify three key things you must accomplish today for it to be a win. Structure your day around those, allocating the necessary time and energy to achieve them. I call them my "three to three."Now, here's where it gets even better…close your eyes and visualize yourself going through each of those activities, executing them flawlessly and surpassing your own expectations. See yourself knocking it out of the park and completing that perfect day you envisioned.But here's the game-changer…take the idea that you have to do these tasks and reframe it as I GET to do these tasks. Instead of approaching life as if you're forced against your will, envision yourself embracing the opportunity to tackle these three things or however many are on your list. Recognize that you get to play this game of life today. Now, I could blame it on my ADHD or my inherent love for novelty, but the truth is, humans are naturally drawn to new and exciting things. The challenge arises when we get caught up in pursuing these shiny objects that distract us from our primary goals. Often, the answer lies in doing more of what we already know we should be doing.The second mistake I frequently make is waiting too long to start. Procrastination often stems from the difficulty of taking the initial step. We spend too much time planning, researching, and perfecting before we even begin. Today, I'll be addressing some of the questions I received during our recent Ask Me Anything session on Instagram Live. One particular question caught my attention, and it's a two-parter. The first part asks how my self-image has changed as I've become more successful. Interestingly, I've always possessed a high level of self-confidence. Regardless of what I set out to do, I've always believed that I have the potential to be the best in the world at it. The second part of the question deals with how money has changed me from when I was poor to where I am now. When I was younger, I focused solely on my own needs and desires. But as I started achieving success and attaining financial stability, something shifted within me. I realized that I had the resources and capacity to contribute to others and make a meaningful impact on the world. As my cup began to fill…I started looking outward and contemplating how I could use my experiences and knowledge to help others on their journeys. Now, when it comes to how money has changed my life in a material sense…it hasn't drastically altered my lifestyle. I still lead a relatively frugal life. However, financial success has brought a sense of security and confidence.While I don't think I've changed dramatically, it's always interesting to get the perspective of loved ones, family, and close friends.
