"Do I have to offer a one to one at all, during this process?" From minute 10:40, Stacy answers Alicia's question and she also explains why she would not do a Thirty Day Challenge. "What if I'm doing market research for a course I'm interested in doing, putting out questions and polls, but not getting great feedback. Do I create the course anyway, or do I continue to ask questions until I find a specific topic that gets great feedback?" From minute 13:58, Stacy addresses April's really good question. How do I justify for the launch if it's just to fill in a few slots of private calls per month, not Premium priced programming?" From minute 15:13, Stacy answers Karen's question about whether or not it's worth going through the whole launch phase and she also explains what she would have done to build up excitement, in Karen's situation. "Do you suggest that we focus on one platform to promote?" at minute 19:47, Stacy answers Michelle's question by explaining that it would depend on how much you would be able to handle without over exhausting yourself. "How do I find people?" At minute 20:43, Jessica, who is brand new and starting from scratch, asks her question about where the people are to be found and Stacy explains some of the fundamentals of networking and also, the potential pitfalls of free groups. From minute 22:51, Stacy answers Audra's question, advising her to do the proper market research, as she has a number of different businesses. "Where were you six months ago?" From minute 25:50, Stacy addresses Dawn's question, by looking back at where she was a year ago before she'd discovered the world of launching, as compared with where she is, today. She also explains what she will be focusing on for the next six months. She encourages Dawn to keep on going! "I'm having trouble telling people what I am, or do, on Facebook Live." From minute 28:00. Stacy advises Lindsay as to how to refer to herself and what it is that she's doing, on Facebook Live. "Do we need a copyright on materials?" At minute 30:06, Stacy answers the question about using copyright on materials and she explains how she deals with protecting her own brand. Ep 205#205: Day 5 - 3 Deadly Mistakes of a Product Launch
Welcome to Day 5 of our 5 Day Launch Challenge! We're talking about 3 deadly launch mistakes that you want to avoid! The whole point of launching is to be as successful as possible, so today we are talking about some of the mistakes that many people make when they launch. The 3 Deadly Mistakes of a Product Launch: 1. Jumping Into a Launch - Sometimes it is tempting to just jump into your product launch! You can easily have unrealistic sales projections, which will make it worse on you when it doesn't meet your expectations. 2. The 6 Figure Illusion - we think that achieving 6 figures in a launch is common place, and it's not actually all that easy to hit that number. Someone having a 6 figure launch has probably launched products multiple times. Don't give up after your first launch. Keep working on it and launching time after time. 3. Overconfidence - there is a fine line between being confident and being too confident. A launch isn't easy and it's not easy to hit big numbers. There is so much work behind the scenes, and personally, I have prepped for about 4 weeks before I launched. Have a strategy to make sure all your time is going into planning your launch. Showing up and being consistent will give you the confidence you need to sell out your program. Setting realistic goals, that are also ambitious is a good idea! It's all a numbers game! Listen to the episode to hear the case studies of actual clients that I've worked with. Today's action item to answer these 3 questions in the Facebook group: What are you going to do to avoid the costly launch mistakes? Would you be willing to invest time and money in a system to walk you through launch? What is the important to having accountability to keep your launch on track? Ep 202#202: Day 2: How Can You Serve Your Perfect Person? with Stacy Tuschl
Stacy Tuschl is a speaker, business coach, and the owner of The Academy of Performing Arts in Wisconsin. She is the author of the book "Is Your Business Worth Saving?" where she reveals proven strategies for pulling entrepreneurs out of a rut and launching them toward business success. Today is Day 2 of our 5 Day Launch in 90 Days Challenge. If you missed Day 1, please go back and listen to that show. We're going to start with some Q and A and then cover today's topic. Q and A: Should you focus on growing your email list or launching first? Part of the launch strategy is email list building. Grow your list in the pre-launch stage of your course. Do we need to do FB ads if we haven't launched a product yet? Only do FB ads when you have a call to action. So if you want to give something away to build your list, that's great. Do you have to go into debt to launch a course? You will either spend your time or your money your launch. So you can spend your money to save yourself time, or you can save your money and spend your time. You have to spend one or the other. How much time will a launch take from your family? If you designate a certain amount of hours per day to your launch, it won't take any longer than your normal work day. Yesterday we talked about your fears and your goals. Today is all about your "perfect person". We want to start the process by looking at yourself first. You want to teach you, where you were 2 years ago. You need to be far enough ahead in your journey to be confident helping people who are where you were 2 years ago. What is the problem your perfect person thinks they have? If you were to take away their pain and problems, then what would their perfect world look like? How do you get them to their perfect world? Post your homework in the FB group and share your answers with the group.

Ep 198#198: 5 Steps to Create Your First or Next Digital Product
Today we continue our August series about creating digital training products. Next week, we wrap up the series with a Live Q and A. Today we're talking about the 5 Steps to Creating Your First or Next Digital Product. Assessing Your Expertise - most entrepreneurs have multiple areas of expertise, so it's important to narrow down your focus to the things that people already coming to you for. This will make it easier to sell the course. You also can get feedback from others to find out what we are really good about. Market Research - check out what your competition is doing. It's important that you know what other people are doing in their email funnels, their membership sites, etc. You want to be better, not just cheaper. Pricing and Packaging - price your product too low and people will think you aren't at the level they need from an expert. The flip side is to price your product too high - don't price yourself out of the market. Either end of the spectrum can be devastating to your business. Either be in the fair market value range or go with premium pricing. Beta testing - everyone should beta test before you launch to the public. You will gain so much information from the beta test and it will help you tweak your course. Then you can relaunch at a higher price point after beta testing. Do not do a beta test for free. Do not feel guilty about charging for your beta test. You don't want opinions from people who have not paid for your product. Having them pay for beta testing makes your testers invested in your product. Get some testimonials and re-launch - make the tweaks from the beta testing results and then you can charge a higher price point. Keep a file of screenshots of any compliments you get from your users/clients. How to Plan, Create and Launch Your Digital Product in 90 Days is a challenge that will be open soon and you can jump in and join us to get your course launched. In the meantime, you can grab the Ace Framework that shows you how your social media can be used to turn your leads into sales. You can get access to that at bit.ly/aceframework Sept 11-15 is a week of daily FB lives again to get the challenge started. So please join us, even if you went through the last challenge!
Ep 197#197: Creating a Product Suite to Increase Your Customer's Lifetime Value With Stacy Tuschl
Last week I was in Laguna Beach, California, with my Mastermind, where I go every ninety days. It's a really great way to refresh and recharge and it was exactly what I needed, so I'm really excited to be back today! Today, we're talking about creating a Product Suite that will increase your customer's lifetime value. What is a Product Suite? It's that customer journey. A few years ago, before I had a digital product, I went to a Brendan Burchard Event and there they taught us to charge what you're worth and not to undervalue yourself. I totally agree, but I also think we have to be realistic here and realize that people won't just jump into a two thousand, a four thousand, or a ten thousand dollar product after they find you for the first time. It's a lot easier to convert when you have a customer journey. Today I want to share with you something that I have done, since then. I've come out with a customer journey with a couple of things that we're going to talk about today. Listen in to find out what it's all about. Show highlights: "So, first of all, you have to have free content." From minute 2:11, Stacy explains the necessity for having something completely free in your Product Suite, that would be worth paying for. "After the free offer, a really great place to start is an Introductory Offer." From minute 2:47, Stacy explains that an Introductory Offer could be worth anywhere between $7 and $97. It's a great way to sample your products, or what you're like to work with, before they may jump into a huge $10 000 program, or whatever you have to offer. "After Introductory, I would head towards more of an intermediate type of offering." From minute 3:14, Stacy explains that an intermediate type of offering would be anywhere from $197 to $997. There's a huge range, here, but your own range needs to make sense. "After that is the Premium Offer." From minute 3:46, Stacy explains that the Premium Offer would be anywhere from $1997 to $5000, or even $10 000. "And then the Exclusive Offer is this high priced, high ticket offer." From minute 3:59, Stacy explains the value of this Exclusive Offer. The price point on this could be $10 000 to $100 000. "You want to start with the end in mind." From minute 4:43, Stacy explains that you shouldn't start with the freebie, or it may not lead to the Introductory and then you may have just a random product that doesn't really make sense. "I have had, in my head, my Exclusive Offer, for a long time." From minute 5:06, Stacy explains how to create an Exclusive Offer. She's always wanted to post her own Mastermind, and so she knows that all her offers will lead in that direction. It won't be something for the masses. It will be something much smaller and more intimate, so you only want the select group that will accept your price point. You need to be thinking about where you're heading and where you'll be taking those people- and what's the biggest ticket price that you could possibly have. "After we have that Exclusive Offer, I want to know what is your Premium Offer?" From minute 6:42, Stacy uses herself as an example, to show what you can do as a Premium Offer. "So the Premium Offer leads very nicely into the Year Long Offer." From minute 7:18, Stacy explains that you need to make sure that your Premium Offer leads very nicely into the Year Long Offer and that yours makes sense to do that. You want to continue that customer journey and continue increasing the lifetime value of that customer. "Then the next point is the Intermediate Offer." From minute 7:58, Stacy explains that for her, the Intermediate Offer is more of a DIY online course. You don't have to have three different products or digital programs. It could be three different levels, where one is a DIY, one is a Group Coaching Program and one is a smaller, intimate Mastermind and it's still one product. "Tripwire isn't a word you would use internally." From minute 8:59, Stacy explains about the Introductory Offer and she cautions you about using the word 'tripwire' when talking to your customers. She also explains about using the stuff that you already have, to create this. "Let's go from free all the way up to exclusive and let's decide does this really lead from one to another." From minute 11:40, Stacy talks about making sure that your one product leads to the next one. Does your freebie make someone want to buy your introductory offer? And does that offer make them want to work with you more? Is everything in alignment and does it feel like it should if you're on a customer journey? Think about the one person who really wants to continue to work with you. Think about how you can serve them and keep them wanting to come back. Links: Go to bit.ly/Aceframework to get Stacy's Ace Framework, completely free. Stacy is doing another Challenge in a couple of weeks, so stick with her to check it out!
Ep 196#196: 5 Must Know Things to Do Before You Create Your First (or Next) Digital Product with Stacy Tuschl
I'm heading out to James Wedmore's Mastermind this week, so I'm really excited, as this is always something that I really look forward to. I go on a trip like this every ninety days and it really helps me to sit back and take in the big picture. This particular Mastermind has helped me to have a truly big breakthrough and so, next week I will be talking about my own Mastermind that I will be hosting, along with a few other female entrepreneurs, next year. I will also be talking about product development, or your product suite next week and I'm really going to dive in deep, so make sure to listen in. Today, we're talking about assessing your product and really making sure that it is something that you should be putting out there and that it really is something that people are actually going to want. Listen in, as I'm going to explain five things to you now, that you really need to know before you create your product, to make sure that you create it the right way. Show highlights: "So, first of all, it is stay in your lane." From minute 2:10, Stacy explains what she means, when she talks about staying in your lane. If there's something that you're really good at, there's really no reason not to be doing it online. "Number two- Speak to the old you." From minute 3:31, Stacy explains that we often forget how incredibly smart we are, in what we are doing and she reminds you that you were not always that way. You also struggled to learn these tips, tools and strategies and what is very normal and natural for you right now, was not so a few years ago. You need to take a step back and break it down until it's really super, super simple. Make sure that you're not teaching over people's heads. "Now, number three, clarify the end result." from minute 4:42, Stacy explains that any time that you sell something, there has to be a problem- and then you have the solution for it. You need to be crystal clear about what you're actually promising to people. You need to be clear about the features and characteristics of what you're offering and what people's lives are going to feel like when they complete your program. "Now, number four is running a Beta Test." From minute 5:34, Stacy explains what you can do, before you actually launch to the public. You can go to people who may want to buy it at a cheaper price point, or for some other bonus perks, to help you to create your product from scratch. This will be incredibly valuable for you to get to know what you really need before you launch your product to everybody. Stacy explains that people really need to pay for these Beta Tests, otherwise they will not be fully committed- even if it's a really nominal amount. "So number five, refine and optimize." From minute 8:25, Stacy explains that this is really important. Entrepreneurs often get excited and just want to move on to the next thing, but refining and optimizing what you have already done will help you to get better results. If you have even just one person buy your product, you know that it will convert and you just need more visibility or eyes on your product and you can continue to scale whatever you are doing. Stick with what's already working and continue to tweak. Ep 195#195: Establishing Your Why with Stacy Tuschl
[Why should we create an online course. Showcase statistics, case studies, etc -- build a case of all the whys and what people are doing - people who give public knowledge about their launch numbers, etc -- scalability, not trading your time for dollars] Poll: Appreciate the benefits as the business owner: Stop trading your time for dollars. Scale your business -- serve more people ----Allow others to learn at a much more affordable rate in a DIY or group setting --- my 1:1 rate right now is $2k/month not everyone can afford that but they can learn in a program like her marketing lab for a fraction of the cost and still get access to me. Passive income - Make money while you sleep. I want to share with you a quick story…. Almost 2 years ago, I kept getting asked by business owners time and time again, "How do you get so much done?" I would meet with women at a coffee shop and explain my Google calendar system, I would have women over to my home to share all of my productivity tips and quickly I realized there were so many business owners who needed to get more done, but wasn't sure how to best maximize their time. Cue, online course! I quickly realized I needed to create a training that didn't subject me to my time and that someone could do on their own. I knew there were more people that needed this training, and I hadn't even begun to grow my following, so guess what I did? I reached out to someone else who had a following. We agreed to split the earnings 50/50 and we launched my first online course. Little did I know this would be the start of a great new beginning, and we brought in $11,000 our first launch. So, if you have been saying to yourself defeating thoughts such as: "I could never create an online course, I don't have a following yet" or "I could never create an online course, I don't have any expertise," let me just silence those thoughts right now! Creating an online course is as simple as taking a question you are asked frequently, breaking it down into a step by step solution and sharing it with others! (And yes, this exact course I have mentioned still exists and is now the course I include as a BONUS in most of my course launches because I know it is essential to maximizing your time in both life and business). So, by the time you have reached this point in the blog, I am sure you are ready to get at it and create your first digital product, so I don't want to keep you any longer. If you want to learn more in-depth about digital products, don't forget to watch the replay of my training today here. SUBSCRIBE TO SHE'S BUILDING HER EMPIRE!
Ep 194#194: Summer Series Online Business Q and A with Stacy Tuschl
Stacy Tuschl is a speaker, business coach, and the owner of The Academy of Performing Arts in Wisconsin. She is the author of the book "Is Your Business Worth Saving?" where she reveals proven strategies for pulling entrepreneurs out of a rut and launching them toward business success. Today, we're doing another Q&A session. The last one we did was really so good- in fact it was one of our most popular podcast episodes to date! I really love having these Q&A's! I love being able to jump right in and have you join us live and get some questions answered. We also have had some people submit their questions beforehand, just in case they can't make it live, so listen in, as we dive right in today, wrapping up our series for the month of July, which is all about working smarter, not harder. Show highlights: "I've just got back from an event on Monday and Tuesday and one of the things I've noticed from going to Live Events- and also posting my Live Events, is..." From minute 1:33, Stacy shares a big difference that she's noticed between herself, as a visionary, and others, when it comes to working smarter, not harder, after coming home from Live Events. This is about seeing the bigger picture, rather than the tedious little ones that tend to overwhelm you. "I want to start a podcast, but I don't know how to manage finding the time." From minute 2:57, Stacy answers a question about how to find more time, in an already busy schedule. Here, Stacy explains about re-purposing. She takes just one piece of content and uses it all over the place! "I'm thinking about using Facebook notes, rather than a separate blog- what do you, or anyone else in this group, think of that?" At minute 6:30, Jessica asks a question about saving time, using Facebook notes, rather than writing a separate blog. Stacy comes up with a number of different ideas here and explains about picking your niche and attracting the type of people that you want to come to you. "What are the best methods for managing time spent with existing clients?" At minute 8:03, Stacy talks about the fine line between engaging with your clients and giving them your attention, and when they expect too much and begin crossing your boundaries. Here she explains how to remain in charge of your boundaries, in order for you to run your business and not have it running you. "What do you do when you realise- okay, I don't have boundaries set and I've been letting them break them?" From minute 11:30, Stacy explains what you can do, right this second, if you realise that you haven't set any boundaries with your clients and things are out of control. She explains how you can set new levels of expectation. "When you are trying to give away these bonuses and perks and and all of this..." From minute 14:37, Stacy explains how you can throw in perks and bonuses, and still make it scalable, without giving away your time. "I have an email provider- well the email provider could, at any moment, go bankrupt, or anything and those emails are just gone." From minute 15:52, Stacy talks about the types of unforeseen things that people just don't think about, with the things that they do not own, like email providers. So your eggs should never all be in one basket. "Do you think having a Facebook Group versus just having a Fan Page is important? I'm afraid that it would take up too much of my time." From minute 12.23, Stacy answers Natasha's question and explains some confusing bits of Facebook, relating to the personal and business aspects of your profile. Linking your Personal Profile to your Business Page and your Group, on Facebook, really saves you time. You definitely do need a Fan Page- if you don't, it means that you're not running Facebook Ads and you really should be doing that, because everybody's target market is on Facebook. Again, this relates to re-purposing. "If you can properly tag your Friends, to whatever category they should be in, it would be really great to show entrepreneurs certain things, but I don't want my sister to have to watch, or my mother-in-law to have to watch." From minute 19:39, Stacy talks about how to properly tag on Facebook, so that only the right people see the things that you post. "In my Group, I might be doing something a little extra, or a little bonus, but the Group is about engagement and it's where we have our big challenges." From minute 21:48, Stacy explains how she makes great use of her Facebook Group for her big challenges. She has one coming up in September and she points out the massive changes that you will see, in the Group, when the challenge happens. It goes to literally hundreds of posts per day! "I really think that you need to be having all three of them- and that sounds so overwhelming, but, when you use a scheduling tool..." From minute 22:15, Stacy explains that by using a Scheduling Tool to create automated posts, you really can use a Fan Page, a Group and a Business Page on Facebook, without becoming overwhelmed. Stacy uses Me
Ep 193#193: Working Smarter, Not Harder: Confessions from the Profit Mastermind with Stacy Tuschl
Today is an extra special day, because we are live, in my home, with eight other women! They are here for the Profit Mastermind Retreat. The Profit Mastermind is a ninety-day program that I launched back in May. Some of the women in it upgraded to a special retreat- and they're here, so I'm super excited! A few of them are going to pop in today, to say 'hello' and talk a bit about how they're working smarter, not harder. Listen in to find out about how they're doing that. I'm really grateful to be having this retreat in my home. Remember though, that these people were already enrolled in a program and I've known them for a few months now. Neither my husband nor I would allow just anybody into our home. What's really cool about having them come here is this sense of connection, on a different level to the online portion of the Mastermind. I almost regretted doing it here, because I had to get my house ready- it's a bit like having a party, so everything had to be a bit cleaner than normal. But, now that it's here, I'm really glad, because I did not have to travel out on Tuesday, and then back again on Friday- and I get to sleep in my own bed! Even though we're just barely into the retreat, it was really great to start developing deeper relationships with everyone, through hearing all of them share their unique stories last night. This morning, we've just kicked off and I'm truly loving doing this from my house, so this might really be something that I will do again, in the future. Listen in as I introduce you to the ladies. I really think you will love hearing what they're doing and how they're doing it. Remember that next week we will have a Q&A about anything you want to hear about working smarter, not harder. Some highlights are: "So, first off, I am a twin Momma Bear, to four-year-olds, and my day job is as an emergency trained Veterinarian." From minute 3:52 Amber talks about herself, her life and how she's working smarter, not harder, to help other moms to live their most optimum life, focusing on brain and gut connections. Her website is amberlangleygill.com "I'm a Speech Language Pathologist and I'm kinda just down the road from Stacy." From minute 7:21, Jann talks about what she does and how she's working smarter, not harder. She's always looking ahead with her business practice, however, she's realized, through this Mastermind, that the time frame that she's looking ahead with isn't quite as big a picture as it should be. Her website is speechworksllc.com. "So, I'm Julie Ruley and I'm a single mom of four amazing children." From minute 9:09 Julie, from Mom On A Mission, talks about herself, her kids, her website, how she became a Mom On A Mission and how she's working smarter, not harder to get everything done through enlisting her kids. She really wants to empower other women to follow their dreams and turn their goals into a purpose. Her website is momsonamissionclub.com. "Well, I'm a big advocate in productivity." From minute 13:10, Cheryl talks about what she's doing and how she's working smarter, not harder. Cheryl became aware of how many women, herself included, were trapped in a career that they didn't love any more, so she launched Elite Women In Business, to help them to get off the corporate treadmill, seize their passion and go out and create their own businesses. Cheryl had a real Bucket List Moment when she was invited by John Lee Dumas, to be a guest on EOFire Podcast. It is recorded two months in advance, so in those two months, she really wanted to leverage the exposure and get some long term benefits from that amazing opportunity. The funny thing is that the show aired on July the 4th, when Cheryl and her family were away on vacation, with no internet connection, so she only got to hear the show an almost week after it aired! She did, however, make sure, prior to leaving for her vacation, that she automated ads to run to the link to that podcast. She also had a blog post prepared to go out and she'd pre-scheduled all her Facebook posts, to give the links to the show notes. Due to having taken the time to pre-plan all of that, she came home to a really huge number of new hot contacts. Her website is elitewomeninbusiness.com. There will be another Profit Mastermind in September, again with the optional upgrade to a Retreat. To get onto the waiting list, go to bit.ly/launchedin90.
Ep 192#192: Growing Your Team And Developing Leaders Within, With Stacy Tuschl
Stacy Tuschl is a speaker, business coach, and the owner of The Academy of Performing Arts in Wisconsin. She is the author of the book "Is Your Business Worth Saving?" where she reveals proven strategies for pulling entrepreneurs out of a rut and launching them toward business success. Do you feel guilty when you want to do something fun, when you know you should be back in the office, doing something else? Well, today we're talking about why you need to be thinking about growing your team and developing leaders within, even if you are a solo entrepreneur. We're still working through the Work Smarter And Not Harder series, for the month of July, so listen in to find out more. I know that all of that can really be scary. You're possibly thinking that you're not yet ready to hire or to take that to the next level, so if you are new, no matter how big or small your business is, I guarantee that this topic will benefit everybody watching! There are probably a lot of things on your to-do list that you really could delegate, but the question is: "Who do you give this to?". I really love the quote " You can do anything, but you can't do everything". I think this is something we should tell ourselves every single day. In one of my businesses, I have a large team of almost forty employees. I was, however, a solo entrepreneur for the first three years of my business and it's really important that you know that, because you don't just start with forty employees- that would be a disaster. I really do remember how exhausted and overwhelmed I was, as a solopreneur, though! I remember so many things that I guilt-tripped myself into, thinking that if I stop working, then nobody is working on my business! Then came a point where I realized that I would actually rather have more freedom, than the money aspect of my business. I was so burned out that I decided that I really wanted to buy back some of my time. I wanted to have someone working with me so that I could delegate to them, knowing that somebody was working on my business and my business was still moving forward, while I was out with my kids. That is really an incredible and irreplaceable feeling! Listen in to find out how you can get there, with your business. Some highlights include: "Sometimes... we have to possibly pay an employee or a contractor before we pay ourselves in our business." From minute 4:22, Stacy talks about the priorities in your business and how to justify paying someone on your team, when you're not getting paid. This is where you really have to see the future and focus on your mindset and know that this is only temporary. "It's no different than thinking you're investing in somebody like that then maybe investing in somebody that is your personal assistant." From minute 5:46, Stacy explains that investing in assistant is actually an investment, similar to hiring a Facebook Ads Strategist, or a Copywriter when you're not yet making money in your business. "If you don't have an assistant, you are the assistant." At minute 6:04, Stacy gives you a good phrase, that she really wants you to be thinking about. You really could be working on much higher paying jobs. "When you hire a coach, they're going to help you build strategies that help you make money." At minute 6:53, Stacy reminds you of the real value in hiring a coach- and it's the same thing when you're talking about any of these types of people. "Which tasks are you doing right now, in your business, that you are currently paying yourself way too little?" At minute 7:19, Stacy gives you something important to consider, about your business. These are the things that you really should not be doing in your business, that you could be outsourcing. "Don't forget about personal things like house cleaning- whatever else is holding you back from doing work." From minute 9:09, Stacy talks about more things that are taking up your time, that could be outsourced to someone else, for way less money than you would be earning if you were working on your business. "Ask yourself: 'Is this moving my business forward, or is this something that I could outsource for a much cheaper rate than what I should be doing- I should be bringing in?'" At minute 10:19, Stacy gives you a really important question that you need to ask yourself when doing something that could possibly be done by someone else. "The people that you bring in to help you, can be so much more than just a contractor or just an employee." From minute 10:58, Stacy explains how the people that you bring in to help you really can be a part of your business and how you can help them to feel that way, by helping them to see the vision and the end results. "If you're a control freak and you're thinking 'I could never take this off my plate.'" From minute 12:32, Stacy gives you some advice about how to give up control. There are some things that people on your team really can do better than you can. "I do want to tell you though when it comes to money, yo

Ep 189#189: 5 Things NOT to do With Facebook Messenger Marketing
In today's episode, we are wrapping up the series on Facebook Messenger Marketing by talking about 5 things not to do on Messenger. Facebook Messenger has open rates as high as 90%, which is great by any standard but especially compared to email marketing. We've already talked about what Facebook Messenger Bots are and some free ways to use the Facebook messenger bots, as well as how to scale what you are doing with some paid strategies. So today, we're steering you around some of the pitfalls of Facebook Messenger. Don't set up your first Messenger Bot and then not engage. You don't just want to accumulate a bunch of names on your Messenger list, and then never send them anything or engage with them. The idea isn't to have the biggest list, but the most engaged list. You don't want your messages to feel like a Bot. Make sure people know how they can get engagement from you when the bot isn't meeting their needs. You can't do "set it and forget it" automation on this. You need to manage it. Don't mess up the first sentence. Your first sentence needs to be intriguing enough to get someone to open it. My best opener has been. "Hey XXX, I know you mentioned you want to get updates on this.." My lowest open rate (80%) was "Hey XXX, just a friendly reminder that….". Make sure you are intriguing enough for them to open the message. Don't put someone on your list and bombard them with messages. There is a balance between too little and too much. Don't treat Messenger like email. It's not email. Most people are looking at messenger on their phone. Keep it short and sweet! Emoji's in the text help break the text up and are more desirable. BONUS - Don't send them a promotional link and broadcast it to everyone. Get them to click below or comment below to get more information. Facebook needs to see that there has been engagement in the last 24 hours before you send them a link. Facebook Messenger Marketing will work if you do it properly. So, don't be afraid to get started and have real conversations with your audience. You can learn how to do this on your own, and figure it out. Or you can outsource it to someone and it may cost over $1000/month on a retainer basis. Or you can jump on my Bot Basics training next week. It's only $97! You'll have your first bot set up by the end of the training and I'll be personally checking out the funnels and testing everything myself! No matter what option you choose, you need to get started asap! Sign up for Bot Basics at bit.ly/botbasics Also, you may have heard about Her Marketing Lab and they are following along with all of my experiments with marketing. The bonuses alone are worth the price of the program! There's so much in this program, and you can get all the details at bit.ly/hermarketinglab
Ep 188#188: 2 Ways to Use Facebook Messenger Bots in Your Business with Stacy Tuschl
We're still in the middle of talking about Facebook Messenger Bots. On Monday (Episode 187) Stacy explained about what a Messenger Bot is and also, why you should care. It's really almost like an email auto-responder- like an actual sequence that you can set up and have activated. She points out that eighty to ninety percent of people are opening up your Facebook Messenger Bots, so that's why you definitely want to be thinking about it. Listen in now, to find out more. Today, we're talking about two ways to do Messenger Bots and then, on Friday, we'll do five things that you really should not do with Messenger Bots, unless you want people unsubscribing! Listen in and find out how Facebook Messenger Bots will help you to transform your business! Some highlights include: "So we're talking about free ways to do it and paid ways to do it." From minute 1:53, Stacy talks about both free and paid ways to do Facebook Messenger Bots. "I want you to be testing with the free stuff before we even try to dive into the paid stuff." From minute 2:26, Stacy encourages you to try the free stuff first. "The biggest thing you need to know with Bots is...." From minute 4:08, Stacy explains how you can engage with people with Messenger Bots in a way that will have them engage back. "It's really really important that we are having people self-select where they should go and what they want to hear from us." From minute 6:44, Stacy talks about ways that you can let people select what they want to hear from you so that you can really dial into them. "People can realize when you immediately respond, that it's probably a Bot." From minute 8:34, Stacy talks about letting people know when they're dealing with a Bot and when they're actually communicating with you because people get excited when they know that it really is you answering their questions! "There are so many options here to be growing your social media following, your Facebook Groups, your list, whatever it is." At minute 9:51, Stacy talks about the benefit of Bots for growing your contacts on social media. "What is one of your biggest priorities right now?" From minute 10:06, Stacy talks about priorities and where you need the most growth- then converting that to sales. "Remember Facebook is always their first priority- is always always the user experience." From minute 11.35, Stacy explains a rule that you have to know when working with Facebook Messenger. "You've got to make yourself think 'what can I give them to make them want to click?'". From minute 13:50, Stacy talks about thinking of ways to make people want to engage with you. "So what I mean by 'paid' Facebook Messenger..." From minute 16:00, Stacy talks about paid Facebook Messenger Ads and how you can use them to re-target people. She mentions that although there is this phenomenal group of women in her Profit Mastermind, a lot of the people who wanted to get into the Mastermind just didn't quite feel ready. Ep 181#181: Day 5 Challenge - Launched in 90 Days with Stacy Tuschl
While being an entrepreneur you can let your imagination run as wild as you want, but when it comes to launching…there's no place for assumptions. However, that's the mistake 90% of the entrepreneurs make, which leads only to sheer disappointment, fatigue, and failure. Stepping out of your comfort zone and cultivating growth mindset is crucial to the success of your launch (and your business). However, you cannot expect to hit your goals just by visualizing and meditating about it. Today is Day 5 of the "Launched in 90 Days" Challenge, now so far we have talked about everything from your launch vision and mindset to finding your perfect person and launching your offer like a pro (by choosing one of the proven launch models). Today I want you to take a step back from planning your launch and see what costly mistakes other entrepreneurs are making + how these mistakes are affecting their launches (in a bad way). UNREALISTIC SALES PROJECTIONS – Unrealistic Goals = Setting yourself up for failure. Launching your offer to a list of 100 and expecting to make $100K is wishful thinking that only leads you to an abyss of disappointment.I am in no way saying that it's not possible to have a profitable launch with a small list, but it's important to have enough quality leads to convert at a good percentage. THE 6-FIGURE ILLUSION – The online 6-figure launch race is contagious and so many good and hard-working entrepreneurs fall prey to it even before they take off. You've got to learn to walk before you can run and then fly.To make 100K in 90-Days is not mission impossible but it shouldn't be your only mission. You may need to have smaller launches to boost your Know, Like & Trust Factor and build up towards a mega-launch. OVERCONFIDENCE – Being confident in your abilities is one thing, but neglecting super important aspects of your launch is simply overconfidence. You can't expect to be a know-it-all, do-it-all kind of person and have a lucrative launch.Get out of your head and go out there to really listen to your dream clients and their needs so buying your offer becomes a no-brainer when you share it with them. Also, look for a support system that's there for you every step of the way (from pre-launch to post-launch) to keep you from falling off the wagon or feeling uninspired. DAY FIVE ASSIGNMENT: What are you going to do to avoid these costly launch mistakes? Would you be willing to invest your time and money in a system that will help you avoid all of these mistakes with a step-by-step launch process? What's the importance of having sheer accountability for YOU during your launch? ACTION STEPS: Answer the questions above. Share your answers in the FB group with the hashtag #Launchedin90 #Day5 to be entered for a chance to win our contest. (Grand prize valued at $997) Tune in at Noon CST to watch the LIVE class in She's Building Her Empire Community with an amazing challenge wrap up party (we're talking challenge winners, raffle and something spectacular that's coming your way!) I can't wait to see you in the Facebook Group!
Ep 180#180: Day 4 Challenge - Launched in 90 Days with Stacy Tuschl
Stacy Tuschl is a speaker, business coach, and the owner of The Academy of Performing Arts in Wisconsin. She is the author of the book "Is Your Business Worth Saving?" where she reveals proven strategies for pulling entrepreneurs out of a rut and launching them toward business success. "Stacy, I simply want to package up my expertise in a course or program and launch it, so people can benefit from it. Why is it so hard to do that?" This is what I get asked ALL the time. Being a passionate, high-performing and committed woman entrepreneur, you are not shy of putting in the work or showing up in your business. You're not even scared of learning new things and trying something different. But it all has to make sense, doesn't it? I mean you can't keep jumping from one plan to the next, following 100 different "Signature" systems (as every expert has got one)…leaving you more confused than ever before. You hear them say… Webinars are the fastest track to build rapport and sell your product… And then you read that webinars are dead. Because apparently, Master-class is the new "webinar." But then challenges are the easiest way to launch your product… So what about the video-series or Bootcamp style launches? So many options. So many expert opinions. So many unanswered questions. This is the reason so many of you just sweep the thought of launching your own info-product under the rug, as not everyone has the luxury to spend tons of time, money and energy only to see little to NO results. So today, let me share with you 4 simple launch models. Challenge Launch – Create a 5-Day challenge (just like this one), spend 2-3 weeks on promotion and then tie in a sales sequence to pitch your offer in the end. Webinar Launch – Promote for 2-3 weeks, go live with your webinar and pitch your offer live and then have a sales sequence in place to pitch your offer to the people who subscribed (Whether they attended the webinar or not). Video Series / Bootcamp – Break down your topic in 3-5 videos and build anticipation as you release them once every few days with the last one being a pitch to your offer and then follow up with a sales sequence. Facebook Live – The easiest way, start with daily Facebook lives to build authority and then pitch your offer directly, boost your viewership through ads. How do you choose one for YOUR launch? Well, here's a rough criteria. How much authority do you have within your niche right now? What's the urgency of your offer? How much time can you devote to this launch? What does your audience prefer based on their lifestyle, free-time, and personal choices? DAY FOUR ASSIGNMENT: Which launch style are you going to choose for this launch? ACTION STEPS: Answer the questions above. Share your answers in the FB group with the hashtag #Launchedin90 #Day4 to be entered for a chance to win our contest. (Grand prize valued at $997) Tune in at Noon CST to watch the LIVE class in She's Building Her Empire Community . Remember! There's NO one way of doing things. There's only YOUR way. So pick the launch model that best suits your and your ideal clients' lifestyle and preferences. See you in the Facebook Group!
Ep 179#179: Day 3 Challenge - Launched in 90 Days with Stacy Tuschl
Stacy Tuschl is a speaker, business coach, and the owner of The Academy of Performing Arts in Wisconsin. She is the author of the book "Is Your Business Worth Saving?" where she reveals proven strategies for pulling entrepreneurs out of a rut and launching them toward business success. The E-learning industry is expanding by the day. There's no denying that. But only a handful of entrepreneurs launch and market their product, course or program the right way. Now that's shocking, isn't it? But why is that so? Why create something only to let it collect dust on your digital shelf? Why not shout at the top of your lungs telling the world that your course or program exists? "Because it doesn't solve a specific problem." That's why. When your course or program (even if it's just an idea for now) doesn't present a unique solution to an existing problem, it does more damage to your time, energy and money than you can think of. You put in so much hard work and tons of time to create something… in hopes that it will fly…only to realize later on nobody wants it. And where does this all lead? Low self-esteem Self-doubts and Remorse No cash in the bank DESPITE having a product, you feel ashamed to share it with your audience, and even if you share it, you don't feel as confident as you should. Why? Because you know that it probably isn't what your ideal clients truly need. So today, we are going to get this piece of the puzzle right. It all starts with your perfect person. The ONE person who's looking to get help from you. You can't go into course creation or launch mode without getting crystal clear about that ONE person. You need to know this person from the inside out – their likes, dislikes, what excites them the most and what keeps them up at night. Unless you know who that person is and how you can help them, there's no point in launching. Note, that this person must be somewhere around you. You just need to talk to them specifically (instead of generalizing your message). DAY THREE ASSIGNMENT: What is the problem that your perfect person thinks they have? And, what do you think is the actual reason behind their problem? Hypothetically, if you were to take away all of their pains and problems, what would their life look like an in a problem-free world? Keeping in view your knowledge and expertise, what solution would you present to your perfect person that will ease their pain and solve their problem? ACTION STEPS: Answer the questions above. Share your answers in the FB group with the hashtag #Launchedin90 #Day3 to be entered for a chance to win our contest. (Grand prize valued at $997) Tune in at Noon CST to watch the LIVE class in She's Building Her Empire Community. Remember, niching down or honing in on your target audience doesn't mean that you're missing out on a larger set of people. It just means that you are focusing on the RIGHT set of people (no matter how small or huge it may be), one who's not there to get entertained, but to BUY from you as they need you right at this moment. See you in the Facebook Group!
Ep 178#178: Day 2 Challenge - Launched in 90 Days with Stacy Tuschl
Stacy Tuschl is a speaker, business coach, and the owner of The Academy of Performing Arts in Wisconsin. She is the author of the book "Is Your Business Worth Saving?" where she reveals proven strategies for pulling entrepreneurs out of a rut and launching them toward business success. Although my signature program is called "The Profit Mastermind", business is not all about profits, is it? Well, I know that as responsible and impact-making entrepreneurs, we're in business to make money so we can bring about a positive change in the world – all while living a deeply fulfilling life ourselves. But restraining our thought and goal-setting process to just money is a grave injustice to our dreams, desires and God-gifted abilities to help others. So when it comes to packaging up your ideas into one fine offer and putting it out in the world (a.k.a. launching), you shouldn't keep your focus ONLY on SALES. Because the more concerned you are about your numbers (instead of the overall impact you are making), the more those numbers will evade you…to the point that it almost becomes a never-ending episode of "hide & seek." When your sole motivation is your rising or declining numbers, you will act from a place of scarcity during your launch instead of a place of abundance, and that creates a no-win situation for you and your audience. For a successful launch, you need to have the mindset of a leader. One that: Radiates your true energy out in the world in a confident way Knows that sales numbers have nothing to do with your value or worth Enables you to share your very best with the world even when you don't feel like it Lets you claim your brilliance and encourages you to stay on track to make your mark in the world Once you're mentally prepared to slay your fears as they emerge, willing to look beyond numbers and gauge the real impact of your launch, and have a buddy by your side cheering on you as you move forward, sales numbers automatically fall into place. DAY TWO ASSIGNMENT: Take a moment and look deep inside of you. List down all the fears that are possibly holding you back from having a successful launch. What will make you feel abundant during your launch? Apart from the sales numbers, set tangible goals for yourself and savor the moments when you achieve them (e.g. Increased list size, social proof, appreciation, engagement and activity, impact made, etc.) Launches don't have to be an uphill battle. Who is the one person you want by your side during your launch to keep you accountable and celebrate your wins no matter how small they are? ACTION STEPS: Answer the questions above. Share your answers in the FB group with the hashtag #Launchedin90 #Day2 to be entered for a chance to win our contest. (Grand prize valued at $997) Tune in at Noon CST to watch the LIVE class in She's Building Her Empire Community. Listen up, I'm going to show you how you can launch in 90 days but I can't force you to achieve spectacular results, so I need you to step up and do the work. See you in the Facebook Group with rest of the challengers!
Ep 177#177: Day 1 Challenge - Launched in 90 Days with Stacy Tuschl
Stacy Tuschl is a speaker, business coach, and the owner of The Academy of Performing Arts in Wisconsin. She is the author of the book "Is Your Business Worth Saving?" where she reveals proven strategies for pulling entrepreneurs out of a rut and launching them toward business success. Has this ever happened to you? An idea sparked in your mind. Light-bulb moment. Goosebumps all over your body just by thinking of the impact it's going to have. You fervently start working on the idea as it seems to be everything you've ever dreamed about. You do some basic research, create a plan, set goals and dates…you're basically right on track to turn it into a living reality…and then it all dies. The burst of flame. The motivation. The dream. All those rough outlines, plans and deadlines start to haunt you. Even when you force yourself to work, you can't do it. You find yourself coming up with new excuses every time you even think about it. It's like all of a sudden you've lost your interest in that "passion" project and it all turns into a forced task. So you just leave it…unfinished… test - Stacy, this is what I see so many entrepreneurs doing when they decide to create an online product or program and launch it. They go into the product/course creation or launch mode with full force…only to feel bored or get sidetracked after a little while. But if you're serious about your online business (and the dreams associated with it) and are committed to making it work, then you can't afford to fall prey to this cycle of gloom & doom, can you? And that brings me to Day 1 of the "Launched in 90 Days" challenge. A launch without a vision is just a series of tasks that you HAVE to do no matter what. If you don't have a driving force behind your launch, it can turn into a messy business experience…leaving you more frazzled than before. With a clear vision in sight, even the toughest tasks get done like a breeze. Because now you are well aware of the importance of each milestone and the change it's going to bring. So let's take a look at today's assignment, shall we? DAY ONE ASSIGNMENT: How much income are you hoping to bring in through this launch? How will this launch help you impact your audience on a larger scale? List 3 ways your launch will help you become an authority in your respective industry. What kind of lifestyle changes do you see this launch bringing about for you? ACTION STEPS: Answer the questions above. Share your answers in the FB group with the hashtag #Launchedin90 #Day1 to be entered for a chance to win our contest. (Grand prize valued at $997) Tune in at Noon CST to watch the LIVE class in She's Building Her Empire Community. You can do ANYTHING you set your mind to, so stretch your imagination and dream BIG. There's no reason you can't achieve what you've not achieved up until now. See you in the Facebook Group!

At minute 2:47, Bob explains how pleasing others ties into our human nature, as well as into pre-market economics, so we will naturally profit, as a result. From minute 3:16, Bob explains about charging what you should be charging and feeling great about it. From minute 22:20, Bob talks about our unconscious beliefs and how they can affect our views about others. "If it's a matter of an actual coach that we're hiring..." From minute 23:30, Bob and Stacy explain what you should look for in a coach. Links: Bob's website: www.thegogiver.com
Ep 175#175: Things I Learned from Creating a Profitable Live Event, with Stacy Tuschl
We are wrapping up from the live event we had last week! I have some lessons learned from my live event that I wanted to share with you. The event was great, but I can always improve, so we look at every possible way to make that happen each and every time. One thing I've learned about myself is that I think I lose my voice, not because I am speaking, but because I am stressed. I have lost my voice 4 times this past year, and it's almost always because I am under stress. I knew I had to see if I could control this better because this isn't a normal way to function. So, let's start there and I'll share with you some of the takeaways from my most recent live event. Episode Highlights: "I wasn't doing my normal water intake or taking my multi-vitamins, and I didn't exercise"……….at minute 4.10 Stacy talks about the physical conditions surrounding her stressful times when she lost her voice and the things she realized when she looked back. "We have our opinions, but I also made sure we did a survey"……..at minute 5, Stacy talks about how she has constantly surveyed her audience throughout her business, but it's a little more personal when she surveyed her live event attendees. "The event was profitable and most live events are not."…….at minute 7.30 Stacy talks about how much her first event ended up costing her and the steps she took in year 2 to make sure she was profitable. Sticking to the budget this year helped her profitability this year. "People are waiting to hand over their credit card."…..at minute 9.0 Stacy talks about how you must craft a great offer for your audience. They want to buy from you and have you help them learn more and put into action what you just taught them. So always have a great offer for a follow-up product. "I was able to pre-sell something to my audience."…..at minute 9.20, Stacy talks about how pre-selling a product that wasn't even launched yet, has helped her craft her next product. "There's no resting right now."…….At minute 10.30, Stacy talks about how even though everyone told her to get some rest after her live event, she's working on a new 5-day challenge that starts next week! She's helping people plan, launch and sell out your first digital course. "We can make more money, but we can't make more time."……at minute 12.21, Stacy talks about how you should look at doing a group coaching program even if you make tons of money doing one-on-one coaching. The reason is because you run out of time to help all the people that follow you and need your help. Group coaching allows you to reach more people. "I want to help you figure out and separate this into three lists." From minute 3:35, Stacy explains about her idea of 'parking lots'. "So how do we know what is urgent?" At minute 3:55, Stacy explains the importance of your Ninety Day Goals. Ep 171#171: Why Vacations are Necessary, with Stacy Tuschl
Stacy recorded this show in Mexico, while away on her first vacation in about five years. Initially, she thought that the vacation would be a waste of money, as she's been away to tons of conferences recently and she thought that the money could be better used in many other ways, both in her business and at home. She was also under the impression that she didn't really need a break at this time. Listen in and find out how Stacy came to realize that this vacation was really necessary for both herself and her husband. Stacy points out that there is a big difference between going away to a conference, where you'll end up spending all day in over cooled conference rooms, and taking a real vacation with your partner. Listen in today, as she shares some of the valuable things that she learned while she was away. Some highlights include: "Just because I don't think I need a break..." At minute 4.49, Stacy explains that she came to realize that although she didn't think she needed a break, her husband, who works in a typical 'nine to five' situation, certainly did. "Just because you don't need it, doesn't mean that he doesn't need it!" At minute 5.39, Stacy points out the necessity of taking your partner's needs into account, when deciding whether or not to take a break. "Also, we needed it together...we make sure that we take a date night once a week." At minute 5.42, Stacy explains the importance of taking some quality time out, sans kids, to spend with your partner. "I didn't realize that I did need some sort of a break." At minute 6.15, Stacy talks about how she came to realize that she had not exited out of 'launch mode' after her launch was over and she continued working around the clock, often trying to squeeze in as much work as she could before her kids woke up. "I was able to kind of re-prioritise, and because of that, it really gave me the break that I needed, that I didn't even know that I was missing." At minute 7.00, Stacy explains how she benefited from a break that she didn't even realize that she needed. "Here's what I was able to do-" From minute 7.11, Stacy explains how her plans to read the book Profit First changed and she ended up walking and thinking a lot, resulting in her listening to a book with her Audible App, The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod- and taking the opportunity to practice what she learned from it for a whole week. "So here's kind of what I did and I want you to see this." From minute 8.31, Stacy shares some of the things that she gained, from her daily practices from The Miracle Morning. "I used the Muse Headband." At minute 9.05, Stacy explains how using the Muse Headband really helps her to meditate. "Here are some tips that he gave me that are really useful-" At minute 10.04, Stacy shares some really helpful morning tips from the Muse Headband meditations. "And then a couple of the other things he tells you to do are affirmations.." From minute 11.53, Stacy explains how you can really benefit from doing regular affirmations. "Do some envisioning- something you want to happen." At minute 12.36, Stacy talks about her use of a Vision Board. "Another thing he said was 'exercise'." In this episode, Stacy will share her top takeaways from the sessions she attended. In case you were wondering, Facebook still reigns supreme as far as being the biggest social media marketing channel. That's the good news. The bad news is that across the board, everyone has had their organic reach drop. Don't despair though, because in this episode Stacy will also tell you how to get around this and still reach more of your target audience. The answer to reach isn't frequency. It's using Facebook Live. Listen in as Stacy explains: It's not a matter of finding the time, it's a matter of removing something to make time for this. At minute 4:30, Stacy talks about how FB live is a necessity. The bad news is FB ads are starting to get saturated…..at 5:20 Stacy talks about how she has an ad that is working, but she can't increase it because she has saturated her market.
