Reading Ezekiel 4 for Friday, July 1st. God asks Ezekiel to lay down on each side and drink specific amounts of water and to cook food over human excrement to get the attention of Jerusalem to listen to a prophecy. Then He edits his request to substitute the prescribed fuel with cow manure. 

Reading 1 Peter 4 for Thursday, June 30th. Don’t forget to love first and if you suffer, make sure you suffer for Christ, rather than evil crimes.

Reading Ezekiel 2 for Thursday, June 23rd. The LORD speaks to Ezekiel and tells him to not be afraid to share His word with the people He is sending him to. 

Reading Ezekiel 1 for Wednesday, June 22nd. Ezekiel sees a vision of heaven and the glory of God. He describes a brilliant and awesome glowing and hovering unusual living aircraft or creature with a radiant being riding on top of it. 

Reading Lamentations 5 for Tuesday, June 21st. The people of Zion recognize their sin as the reason for their suffering and ask for mercy while acknowledging God’s sovereignty. 

Reading Lamentations 4 for Monday, June 20th. The sons and daughters of Zion are being punished horribly, but Edom will be next. 

Reading Lamentations 3 for Saturday, June 18th. There is still compassion and hope in the midst of suffering and destruction.

Reading Jeremiah 46 for Wednesday, June 8th. God plans to destroy those around the people of Jacob, but not all of Jacob’s people, and only with justice. 

Reading Jeremiah 45 for Tuesday, June 7th. God says that Baruch should not seek great things for himself, but although disaster will come upon all people, he will still escape with his life. 

Reading Jeremiah 44 for Monday, June 6th. The Jewish exiles are warned, but chose to continue worshipping the queen of heaven in Egypt instead of God, and are destined for destruction, aside from a few fugitives.
