Reading Genesis 7 for Monday, January 9th, 2017. Noah and his family took shelter in the ark, along with at least two of each of the land-dwelling animals. Water covered the Earth up to 20 feet higher than the highest mountain peak. 

Reading Genesis 6 for Saturday, January 7th, 2017. The Earth got so evil and bad that God regretted creating it. He decided to make a plan to wipe out all of it’s inhabitants aside from Noah, his wife, his sons, his son’s wives, and two of each living creature that breathes air. 

Reading Genesis 5 for Friday, January 6th, 2017. The genealogy of Adam to Noah and his sons is recorded in this chapter. 

Reading Genesis 4 for Thursday, January 5th, 2017. Jealous Cain kills his brother Abel and gets cursed, and then has some children, who start making musical instruments and tools. Adam and Eve then have a new son, Seth. 

Reading Genesis 3 for Wednesday, January 4th, 2017. Eve and Adam do the wrong thing, so farming and childbirth become harder than planned. 

Reading Genesis 2 for Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017. Adam and Eve are naked and without shame, and they name all of the creatures on the Earth. 

Reading Genesis 1 for Monday, January 2nd, 2017. God created all things. 

Reading Revelation 22 for Saturday, December 31st. The new Jerusalem and the new Earth will be better and is coming with Jesus’ return. Be ready, and be what you are. 

Reading Revelation 21 for Friday, December 30th. A new Jerusalem is delivered from heaven from God and will not have doors or traditional lighting. It will not need doors, because there will be no night. The earth will be new and different as well. 

Reading Revelation 20 for Thursday, December 29th. Satan and his followers are imprisoned for 1,000 years and then punished, and those who have not been added to the book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire as well. 

Reading Revelation 19 for Wednesday, December 28th. Celebration begins in heaven due to the destruction of Babylon and God’s wrath is delivered by those riding white horses, led by the “…king of kings and lord of lords.” 

Reading Revelation 18 for Tuesday, December 27th. Babylon is destroyed because of her excessive luxuries and the shedding of innocent blood. 

Reading Revelation 17 for Monday, December 26th. Prophecy is described with graphic imagery of a woman riding a beast over waters that represent Babylon, several kings, and people.

Reading Malachi 4 for Saturday, December 24th. The day of the LORD is coming.

Reading Malachi 3 for Friday, December 23rd. God will judge many who neglect to fear Him, those who rob Him, and those who refuse to obey his commands.

Reading Malachi 2 for Thursday, December 22nd. God is not happy with partial priests, unfaithful Judah, and had grown weary of those who call evil good.

Reading Malachi 1 for Wednesday, December 21st. God does not like it when we offer our second best as a sacrifice to Him.

Reading Zechariah 14 for Tuesday, December 20th. Prophecy about Jerusalem, plagues for it’s enemies, and it’s holy cooking pots.

Reading Zechariah 13 for Monday, December 19th. Being a prophet is not going to be a very popular line of work, even among one’s parents.

Reading Zechariah 12 for Saturday, December 17th. Prophecy about Jerusalem and Judah being secure and mourning over their piercing of God. 

Reading Zechariah 11 for Friday, December 16th. A prophecy includes details of Jesus’ betrayal and the failure to shepherd properly by the Pharisees. 

Reading Zechariah 10 for Thursday, December 15th. God is going to take good care of Judah. 

Reading Zechariah 9 for Wednesday, December 14th. Prophecy about Jesus riding a colt. 

Reading Zechariah 8 for Tuesday, December 13th. God plans to bless Jerusalem, and it will be a blessing to other nations that come to it. 

Reading Zechariah 7 for Monday, December 12th. God wanted people to listen to the prophets he sent, but they were ignored. 

Reading Zechariah 6 for Saturday, December 10th. Multi colored horses pull chariots through bronze mountains and Joshua is crowned and will build the temple of the LORD. 

Reading Zechariah 5 for Friday, December 9th. Thieves and liars will be destroyed, and sin will be measured throughout the land. 

Reading Zechariah 4 for Thursday, December 8th. Zerubbabel will finish the temple after the way is made for him, and there will be celebrating. 

Reading Zechariah 3 for Wednesday, December 7th. Joshua gets a new outfit and an important job from God. 

Reading Zechariah 2 for Tuesday, December 6th. Two angels explain to Zechariah what Jerusalem will be like and how God will surround, protect and indwell it. 

Reading Zechariah 1 for Monday, December 5th. Visions explain what God plans to do with those who scattered Judah. 

Reading Haggai 2 for Saturday, December 3rd. God reminds the people that His temple was glorious, and now is not looking so good. He also says that the people will start being blessed again. 

Reading Haggai 1 for Friday, December 2nd. God compares the efforts the people put into making sure their homes are nice, while His temple lies in ruins. 

Reading Zephaniah 3 for Thursday, December 1st. He will quiet you with His love.

Reading Revelation 16 for Wednesday, November 30th. God’s wrath is poured out on the earth, bringing specific plagues to affect the water, the earth and the bodies of men who trusted the beast and the dragon.

Reading Revelation 15 for Tuesday, November 29th. Seven angels brought the seven final plagues as those who were victorious over the beast sang a song to praise God of His holiness near a fiery sea of glass.

Reading Revelation 14 for Monday, November 28th. The Lamb leads the 144,000 marked as blameless in a song that only they can learn. Then three angels will start harvesting the earth of those (who received the mark, trusting in the beast) who are to receive God’s wrath.

Reading Revelation 13 for Saturday, November 26th. Two beasts emerge from the sea and the earth. People end up worshiping the beast of the sea and taking a mark on their right hands or foreheads to be able to buy or sell things.

Reading Revelation 12 for Friday, November 25th. A battle between good and evil is waged and good wins, but the dragon’s war is still made against those who obey God’s commandments.

Reading Revelation 11 for Thursday, November 24th. Two witnesses prophesy and bring plagues to those who try to harm them, are killed by the beast, and in three and a half days are resurrected , after the rejoicing had begun. This struck fear in their enemies, and natural disasters began.

Reading Zephaniah 2 for Wednesday, November 23rd. Prophecies against several cities or nations who attributed their security to themselves. 

Reading Zephaniah 1 for Tuesday, November 22nd. Bad news of God’s wrath on Judah because of her idolatry and chasing other gods. 

Reading Habakkuk 3 for Monday, November 21st. Habakkuk prays praise and adoration for God, his savior. 

Reading Habakkuk 2 for Saturday, November 19th. God’s prophecy will come to pass without delay, on time and it will not be good for idolaters. 

Reading Habakkuk 1 for Friday, November 18th. God uses Babylonians to bring destruction across the nations. 

Reading Nahum 3 for Thursday, November 17th. Bad news and graphic depictions of punishment and exile for Nineveh. 

Reading Nahum 2 for Wednesday, November 16th. Nineveh will be exiled and it’s military strength and defenses will be destroyed. 

Reading Nahum 1 for Tuesday, November 15th. A prophecy concerning Nineveh is given.

Reading Micah 7 for Monday, November 14th. I watch in hope for the LORD.

Reading Micah 6 for Saturday, November 12th. God would rather His people act justly and love mercy and walk humbly with Him, rather than give generous sacrifices for continuing in their sins.
