Reading Exodus 11 for Thursday, April 6th. The Lord sends a message to Pharaoh that he will kill all the firstborn sons of Egypt, but Pharaoh still does not let them go.

Then Moses meets with God on the way to Egypt, and, to avoid their son’s immediate death, Moses’ wife Zipporah does an emergency circumcision on their son to confirm his also being set apart as one of God’s chosen people.
