After experiencing profound personal losses with the passing of her husband and son to suicide, Carey found solace in her vision. She co-authored Keep Looking Up with her daughter, a book that weaves their family’s story with actionable advice on overcoming adversity through the power of vision. Why Vision Matters Carey emphasizes that most people’s visions are vague aspirations rather than clear, actionable goals. Through her coaching, she introduces a structured approach: writing a vision dated three years into the future. This exercise helps people anchor their goals to specific milestones, creating a roadmap for success in personal and professional life. She also highlights the importance of addressing the fear of failure, noting that setbacks are vital learning experiences. Vision for Young Adults In addition to working with entrepreneurs, Carey and her daughter launched Vision is Victory Academy, a program tailored to young adults. It equips participants with tools for intentional living, covering topics like financial literacy, self-care, and boundaries.
