Last October, Brazil announced they had a new President. Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva took out 50.9% against 49.1% for former President Jair Bolsonaro, the right-wing incumbent. Congratulations Australia, you’ve surpassed a 2021 milestone. There’s a scene from the current series of The Crown that many people found jarring. When Mohamed Al-Fayed buys the former French residence of the Duke of Windsor, formerly King Edward VIII, he invites the royals to visit.
