On the third of May 2007 three year old Madeleine McCann vanished from an apartment in Praia da Luz in Portugal. The McCanns were visiting from the United Kingdom, where they lived. This weekend Sydney kicks off WorldPride, a global celebration for the LGBTQIA+ community. 17 days of events, performances, rainbows and glitter as far as the eye can see. Earlier this month 16 year old Stella Berry was bitten and killed by a shark in Perth's Swan River. It's the first shark fatality for Australia in 2023, and the first in The Swan River in a century.
