Nearly five months ago, Hollywood writers went on strike, bringing the TV and movie industry to a standstill. In 2006, Assange founded Wikileaks and came to international attention in 2010 after publishing a trove of leaked classified US military documents about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
