Show Notes
The Victorian government recently began it’s plan to phase out gas in the state’s homes by announcing they were banning any new gas connections to newly built homes starting from January next year.
But why have we turned on gas? it used to be sold to us as the more affordable and more environmentally friendly option to electricity, and does this Victorian move mean the rest of the country is about to follow suit?
Today we look at what it will mean for Aussies to try and remove gas from our lives, and what happens in our kitchens and lounge rooms as a result.
