Mike says Torya is grumpy in the morning, and at the gym. Mike would never release footage of Torya without her approval. They continue talking about Elizabeth Warren, they briefly talk about Elon Musk who won Time Man of The Year. Mike describes him as an alien from outer space and one of the most genius businessmen ever. No one would flinch if he was an alien. Elizabeth Warren said maybe we should change the tax codes so the man of the year pays taxes. Elon refuses to be a puppet so Biden ignored him. Mike talks about Elon Musk’s tax bills and how Elizabeth Warren is paid by taxpayers' money. She has been around for a long time, she made 12 million and paid 5 thousand in taxes. Mike describes her as a hypocrite. Mike and Torya rant about some people who lecture others on their ethics. They continue to talk about Elizabeth Warren and her position in the tax office. Mike could disagree with both sides and could still defend his right in regards to Elon Musk and Elizabeth Warren. Mike expresses his opinion on taxes and paying taxes. Torya jokes that Mike's head is filled with lunacy. Mike and Torya discuss Tesla’s size and if it moved location and country. It was a company card and they paid for the next session with them. A month later, Mike talks to someone at the company. Mike accepts responsibility, 95%, he explains that he didn’t follow up. Mike and Torya are shocked with how many episodes The Nightly Rant has and thank the listeners.

Ep 429The House Plant in the White House

Mike opens the show by talking about the misinformation that goes around. He says that at the start of the pandemic, the main reason they told us to wear masks was to protect other people from us, not to protect us from other people and all the covid. He’s not a pro mask or anti-mask. They complied with places that required them to wear a face mask. Then they talked about the new president. And having a new president comes a new press secretary. And for Mike, she just looks like Peppermint Patty from the Charlie Brown - Peanuts series. The way they are inconsistent really makes Mike mad. She was then asked about Hunter Biden's business dealings in China and she says that he is not an employee of the Federal Government completely missing the point that the president claims his son didn’t have any business dealings with China. Then they talked about the smash and grab lootings going on, running around stealing from malls and big box stores. She claims that stuff going on is due to Covid. Torya asked why would they steal Nike and watches? It's not like they’re stealing vaccinations or cold medicines, they’re stealing high-ticketed items. And the Mayor of Chicago blames the businesses for the smash and grab robbery saying that they should hire more security. Then they were asked about the $1.2 Trillion dollars Build Back Better plan and they claim that it doesn’t cost a penny. Then they continue talking about the Omicron variant in Africa and the travel ban. Mike then says that Joe Biden has a stutter so it's not racist. Her claim was that Biden is too busy for a TV interview and yet continues to go on vacation. Torya says it's because houseplants can't stay in direct sunlight for too long. And they really have a good laugh about this. Then when she asks about the vaccine mandates and how other courts have shut down and called them illegal and she went to the next reporter and basically refuses to answer the question. Very typical thing about this administration. Then they continued talking about some of the questions asked to her and her answers. Torya says that Hillary Clinton would have been a better first woman in the White House. She had a pair of balls. She knows how to do politics properly without being a BITCH. She then says that COVID is the root cause of INFLATION. Torya ends the show by saying that she is sad that people are not picking up the word RAD.

Ep 430AITA: Not Enough Monday for College

Mike and Torya talk about Bree, the dog. Mike tells Torya that her tagline is “she makes me laugh every day”. Torya jokes that she likes Mike the same way she likes the dog. Mike and Torya discuss this. Torya covers her tracks and tells Mike there are 100 reasons why she loves him. Torya calls Mike a ‘turd sandwich”. There is joke talk of possibly some violence following this comment. Bree is special. She has big dog feelings. Mike and Torya explain these feelings and how laughing makes her more comfortable. Bree had free training to help her stop jumping. Yogi is different and one of Mike’s complaints is Yogi has to snick every blade of grass. Today’s topic is ‘Am I the asshole’. They describe a scenario ‘Am I an asshole for telling my dad that the 5K he gave me for college is not enough.’. Torya explains this scenario and asks if this person is the asshole. Reaction number 1 is that she is maybe an asshole as she should trust what their parents are doing. There is a ‘even if’ comment. Reaction 2 is that the person was upset about their dad blowing off their celebration dinner Torya explains that she was the golden child in her family. She describes how. Mike asks if this was made clear to Torya and her brother growing up. Torya explains that she doesn’t think her parents really treated them differently. Torya’s opinion is that the dad is the asshole for blowing off the person at the celebration. Mike says they are both the asshole and the daughter ends up as the asshole for complaining about the money. However, Mike ends up agreeing with Torya.

Ep 428When There is Nothing Left

Mike opens the show by saying so many things have gone on that are newsworthy. Torya agrees to it however most of the news is dogshit and she doesn't give a rat’s ass about it but today she found out something rather amusing. She proceeds to read an interesting article titled “Suicide pods now legal in Switzerland, providing users with a painless death”, by the globalnews.ca. Mike then shares his opinion about this article. He would never ever classify this as neat when someone was at the point where they’re giving up and they're not gonna let nature take its course and just give up and take their life themselves. Torya then shares that most of the people who go the medically assisted suicide route are in extreme pain with zero quality of life. Based on statistics she researched, 98% of people who choose medically assisted suicide are in hospice, which means their life is garbage. Mike’s bottom line to this issue is that depending on the sum of the facts presented. It's like one of the situations wherein some cases it's perfectly okay and some cases morbid. Torya then shares her opinion on this matter. She thinks it is one of those things that people should be allowed to choose for themselves. Then they continue sharing their opinions about this article. Mike admitted that he thinks the problem is he doesn’t know anything about medically assisted suicide. Torya then shares that she agrees with Mike, that what if the diagnosis is wrong. But she thinks she will deal with that when it's in her family and it's her business. Mike says that he forgot his argument about this issue. Torya then says that maybe she talks to some of it. Mike then shares that it is educational for people who are listening to be able to change their views based on what somebody says because if you won't be able to do that, it's usually for one reason only, you're not listening. Torya then shares that there are things that they don't agree on and have not agreed on ever but they slowly over time as they have more discussion of those things, drift toward one another. They believe that they are generally the type of people who are willing to consider other people’s opinions on things and make an educated decision for themselves based on those opinions. Mike agreed. Torya ends the show by saying how exhausted they were and Mike agrees that it is a long long week.

Ep 427Oh Amazon!

Mike opens the show by asking Torya if she ever heard about the latest woke nonsense. These woke jackasses want to get rid of the Black Friday term because it was racist. Then they talked about an article Torya reads titled: Worst Ways Amazon Exploits Workers During Black Friday. Earthquake Machines Fewer Spots To Pass Out Christmas Music Pumped Into The Shipping Center Marking Them 50% Off Ringing The Bell Entire Workforce Required To Split Single Bean For Dinner Makes Them Carjack Their Delivery Vehicles Jeff Bezos Wife Contest Robots Get Time Off Workers Forced To Urinate In Cranberry Sauce Can Speaking To Them In Bleeps And Bloops Ask Them To Help Jeff Bezos Move No Hugs For Doing A Good Job Their Human Teeth Deal Giving Workers A Free Fire Kindle Fire Tablet If They Kill Their Pro-Union Colleagues Labels The Slow Ones As “Drone Meat” If you want to read the satire article, here’s the link: https://www.theonion.com/worst-ways-amazon-exploits-workers-during-black-friday-1848112465 Torya then shares her favorite story for her Amazon purchases. All the delays and no apologies. Mike points out that Amazon was good in compensation before, but not now. If you are offered, it was not taking advantage. Torya then points out that when Mike gets his mind set on something, it is the only thing that is happening and nothing can deter him. He doesn’t love it, but he gets it. It’s just one thing about Mike that Torya loves about him. Then they continue to talk about Mike’s behavior. Mike ends the show by saying he is tired from all the talking and so is Torya.

Ep 426Why is Everything About Racism?

Mike and Torya open the show by saying everything today is about race. Then they talked about the case of Kyle Rittenhouse’s verdict. He was 17 years old and armed with an AR-15-style rifle when he fatally shot two protesters and wounded a third in August 2020. Mike saw videos circulating online and he believe it was a clear case of self-defense. Mike points out that you can’t take your narrative and apply it to everything. The fact has to fit the narrative for the narrative to fly. Then they talked about Andrew Coffee trial, who is accused of firing at Indian River County Sheriff's Deputies during an early morning drug raid at his home back in 2017. He was not found not guilty because of self-defense. But nobody reports on this because it never fits their narrative at all. Torya says she never heard of his name until now. Then just recently, they talked about the murder of Ahmad Arbery at the hands of these 3 guys. The racist prosecutor wasn’t going to file the charges, but the system does work. She was removed from her job by the voters. She was indicted by Grand Jury because of poor handling of that situation and these guys were charged, sit on a trial, and all found guilty of all the things. They are going to jail for life. Does this mean the system is perfect? Mike says no. The system is not perfect. But it is not broken as many people say. Torya says it is inefficient in a lot of ways and unreliable in other ways. The rule a lot of times seems laxer and laxer that people can get away. Mike wants people to start looking at these things on their own with an open mind. He has faith that if society will pay attention to this will do that. You can’t argue that the system doesn’t work. Because the system does work exactly how the system should work. The key point is if you don’t want the law, petition for it to change the law. Mike then shares his hope for the New Year is that the covid crazy people will start to learn what moderation is. Then they talked about how vaccines work. You have that choice to make. You can’t force anyone to get vaccinated. Torya agrees to everything Mike shares. Torya then shares his wish for 2022, which is that the media will only report the actual facts rather than add their bullshit opinion in every news article. Mike ends the show by hoping that 2022 is a much better year than 2021.

Ep 425Should I Keep It

Mike opens the show by saying they both had a fun and amazing weekend. Mike went with Alyssa and her friends to see Coin at the Wiltern. The event was previously canceled due to a pandemic. Alyssa wants to be close to the stage, so they went an hour early, but they were 2 and a half hours early. The good thing about it is the first 250 people will get a wristband with access to the pit. They really have a good time. But Mike had mixed emotions about the opening band. Because they really sound bad live. Then Torya shares her amazing fun weekend with Mitchell. They drove to The Forum to see Lany on Saturday night. Mike says he like Lany, but Torya questions it. She said that he goes back and forth on liking Lany. Torya says he will like Lany if he goes to their concert. Mike says he needs to experience their music all by himself. Torya suggested that he listen to Spotify coz they have a setlist of the songs on their tour. Then Torya shares she got some love for them now. Then Torya shares a short story, this is not an AITA post but a Twitter post. The story was she had a son who bought a book at Goodwill for 50 cents. When he got home he discovered $500 tucked into the pages. Of course, he’s excited and wants to keep it, (he’s 30, I have no say) What would you do? Then Torya shares the 3 perspectives: Legally it’s his. It would be great if he would donate at least half of it though. Finders Keepers. I’d probably donate $200 for karma’s sake, but I won’t begrudge anyone keeping it. A sorry comment on the state of our public ethics. The purchase was a contract. You should return the money. Then they weigh all the perspectives and agree more on the 2nd perspective. Mike can’t stand inconsistent people. Don’t be inconsistent. Torya says that he has been teasing Mike regarding this story, and how amazing he is coming up with his own pespective. Torya ends the show by asking the opinions of the listeners. They want to know what’s your say in this story. Ep 424AITA for Having a Child when I am Broke

Mike and Torya welcome the show by sharing another Am I The Asshole post from Reddit. It’s about the poster telling her best friend she shouldn't be trying to have kids since she is almost broke? (she's single so no second income). Then they weigh down all the options the friend has. Mike points out that Emily (the friend) is the asshole. She doesn’t have the money to raise and take care of that baby. And the fact that Emily wants to raise the child alone, she didn’t think of the legality of this. Torya then shares how women’s biology tends to work. Once the dude knocks you up, you go into nesting mode which means you want that guy in your life taking care of you and bringing you ice cream. Any dude she banging with the friends of benefit concept is not gonna down on that. Mike points out that he doesn’t know the guy at all. Then they talked about a new season of I’m in love with a Mama’s Boy and how Emily and Shekeb are back together and Leila just as not so usual. They will do a recap of the season in the next episode. Mike and Torya both agree that Emily was the asshole in the story. If you want to read more about the AITA post, click here: https://www.reddit.com/r/AmItheAsshole/comments/ooogv0/aita_for_telling_my_best_friend_she_shouldnt_be/ Then they talked about the last episode about rude people when the situation arises in the public. People are just special. Spectacular. Somehow society needs to put these people in their place. Give them instructions on how to operate in public places. Mike then points out that doesn’t involve the government, coz they can’t handle everything correctly. Mike thinks if you are an entrepreneur/small business owner, you need to be a part of a community, they have what you just need. It’s called Small Business Bootcamp. Ep 423Mother in Law from Hell

Mike and Torya open the show by asking how inflation can be solved. Torya says by not printing money. Mike shares the answer from the US President - Americans need to spend less money. Mike then pointed out the President’s only notable accomplishment in his senate career is basically the Crime Bill that is now being blamed for calling the system racist. Because this proportionately imprisoned people of color. He is making the rules. Torya says he is not making any rules, he is just a decorative house plant, not even a living plant. Then they talked about another Am I The Asshole episode about refusing to give up her dream wedding dress because it was the same dress as her mother-in-law will wear on her 50th birthday. She asked if she was an asshole for how she treated her MIL. Mike's opinion about this is that MIL is the asshole or no one is the asshole in the story. Then he elaborated his point. He’s leaning toward the MIL as the asshole in the post. Then Torya reads one comment from the post effectively accusing the poster of leaving out key information from the story that makes the MIL salty. Mike says that you have to assume that the poster is telling the truth, there is no way you can’t make the poster an asshole. Torya leaned toward the same option Mike was pointing out. Other readers are asking for the MIL side of the story as well. The poster makes sure that she covers every base trying to make sure that MIL is happy. Mike points out that you need all the facts to determine who's the asshole or not. Then Mike talked about the degree of love you have for someone. He doesn't think there is a max for love. Because with Torya, throughout the years they are together, every single time he thinks he can’t love her even more. Then something happens, and he even loves him even more. They ended the show by both agreeing that the MIL is the asshole in the story. Ep 422Hey Google is Rude

Torya opens the show by saying how she doesn’t like Hey Google coz it’s rude. Mike says it should follow their house rules and not the other way around. Torya then mentions why Artificial Intelligence will kill all humans when it takes over the world. Then they talked about how so many people are against it. Torya really likes it for the purpose of turning on and off the lights, and she understands the purpose of it. Then they talked about how the Hey Google in the office and how it didn’t like Torya’s voice and how responsive it is in the one in their bedroom. Then they talked about one episode of Treehouse of Terror and how Homer and Marj moved into a Smart House and the smart house decides that he likes Marj and wants to kill Homer and romance Marj. Mike hasn’t since that episode. Then they talked about how his oldest son, Matthew, decided to run 26.2 miles LA marathon, consecutively. And he finished like a Champ. He wasn’t whining or anything. He was fantastic. Then they talked about how the people in the marathon were the Treehouse of Terror. Then they tackled their worst toilet experience as well. Torya concluded that she blames the overall Westfield Century City management. Mike was very proud of the finish of his son. The lady in the wheelchair also set a world record for the fastest marathon completed in a wheelchair. It was also a hilly marathon. How fast could she be if it’s not a hilly marathon? Torya said that she likes Siri more. Mike and Torya end the show by both agreeing that Hey Google was really rude, and Siri has a better personality.

Ep 421Mental Health Crisis

Mike and Torya started the show by saying how ranty Mike was when Torya only wanted to take a nap. Then Mike shares the story about Payoneer and how they will feel his wrath. Then Mike introduce the guest for today’s show, Tim McCarthy, a mental health advocate, suicide attempt survivor, and the host of the podcast, 20TIMinutes. Mike loved the name of the podcast, and Tim says it is easy to come up with the name when his friends came up with the name. Then Mike asked what got him into being a mental health advocate. Tim became a mental health advocate because 2019 was the worst year of his life. On May 5th,2019 he attempted to hang himself. After that he knew he really needed help pretty badly. He went on therapy, medications, got help, and finally when he got out of his dark place, he reached out to family and friends, to tell them what happened. He was embarrassed but was told not to be and just wear it, just be who you are. He then started with the podcast. He wants to help people with his story. Then Mike asked Tim what cause him to push the suicide attempt before he sought help. Tim answered that he was just miserable every day. He had this habit of saying serious things in a joking tone, and people don’t know if he was serious or not. He feels everything sucks. He then shares about everything on the day of his suicide attempt. His cat saves the day. Then they talked about their cats. Tim then shares some advice he can give to people who have the same position as him. The easiest advice is reaching out to somebody that has a support system but the hardest thing to do. There is somebody for somebody. No one likes to see someone fails. Make sure you have someone to talk to. Just reached out. Then they talked about Tim being married and why he didn’t talk to her about that. He answers that he thinks he still figuring out himself. He kinda forgot the other side. Torya then asks Tim how his podcast helps him now. He knew he can help other people by doing the podcast. He then talked about the kind of stuff about his podcast and who he had already interviewed. Torya asked Tim how he became Nintendo Friendo Champion. Tim then shares the funny story behind it. Mike then asks Tim a controversial question, how he thinks of the vaccine mandates. Tim answered that he is vaccinated. He says he is a sheep. He said that if this thing kills him, it’s fine. But he thinks that it is super fucked up to force people to take the shot or they gonna lose their job, he thinks everyone had the right to decide on what they want to do with their bodies. Then Mike points out that he wants consistency. Then Mike tells a funny story about using Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit. Mike shares that there is a stigma about mental health issues and you can’t even tell your spouse about it because you’re too embarrassed about it. That’s the sad part about it Listener if you are depressed or feeling down, send us an email at info@yogispodcastnetwork. We will get in touch with you. Somebody needs to be there with someone. Ep 420Mike Was Scammed

E

Mike opens the show by saying how he is a f*cking idiot and so angry right now. Torya said he is pissed and warns the people that a rant is coming. He then shares the story of how their Edison bill went high due to air conditioning so that he made payment arrangements with them. When he is taking a nap, he receives a call that power termination is on the way for the next 30 mins. He is told the last payment was not received. So they agree to pay the minimum payment due. He then asked for the credit card number and Mike gave it willingly. It was a scammer. Mike points out that the moral story of this is never ever give anything over the phone because every system these days has ways to securely transfer information. Torya then thinks what other people should do is the trust to verify. South California Edison is a trustworthy company. If they called you, hang up and call them back. Mike believes that this person is really good at scamming people. She was really smooth at that. Torya then shares her experience of almost getting scammed. She was looking for a roommate back then, she found one who was an exchange student from France. The roommate sent the check for the security deposit. The check was a little sketchy and she took it to the bank to confirm and the check was fake. Torya then brings it to the police station. Mike then shares his fair share of experience too. Then they talked about that doing short-term rentals is like the place where scammers are now. They want to scam the people who are doing the short-term rental. Then they continue to talk about their experiences of scammer in their rentals. Mike points out that that don’t be a moron and do like he did. Make sure they have to verify your account. Ask for their direct phone number and ask for the employee’s name and number. Mike feels ridiculous to take advantage of the smooth-talking scammer lady. Without being racist, this person is 100%, a non-ethnic American citizen. Born and bred in the United States. They were here as natives, not visitors. Mike ends the show saying that he hates racism and he is pissed once again.

Ep 419Lets Talk Gratitude

E

Mike opens the show by mentioning Thanksgiving is just around the corner. They started the show by teasing each other. Then they talked about how the country was run by the circus clown for 4 years. Mike didn’t think it could get worse. Then came grandpa, and he is the definition of geriatric. Then Mike shares he’s grateful for the opportunity to help other people. Torya thinks this is cliche. Then he shares the cliche part, how he is thankful for Torya, his kids, and how they are different from each other and have good qualities about them and to their fur babies and how they are working on their differences. Mike is thankful that he is alive. Torya then shares that he is thankful for Mike, her nice friend in Canada who takes good care of his dad and thankful that she still exists, and she points out that she made a face when she says that because she thinks it’s cliche. Then they talked about the new Am I The Asshole post titled - AITA for not giving a kid (who I don’t know) a ride to the hospital after he broke a leg?”. If you want to read the post here’s the link to the AITA - https://www.reddit.com/r/AmItheAsshole/comments/pbhzz7/aita_for_not_giving_a_kid_who_i_dont_know_a_ride/ Mike firmly believes that no one was the asshole in the story. You wouldn’t risk taking some stranger in your car. The poster already called the ambulance. He already did his part. Torya agrees with Mike as well. The safest thing for the kid, especially since they are in Canada was to call an ambulance. Canadian healthcare is such that the entire emergency room was paid for by the government. You only paid for the ambulance ride. Then Torya reads some of the comments in the post. 100% of the comments, the OP is not the assholes. Then they talked about out of 4 AITA posts they discussed, they came to the final conclusion that none of them were the assholes. Then they argue on how Torya thinks Mike shares his opinion depending on the type of day he was asked and what mood he was on. But Mike rolls his eyes hard and begs to disagree. Torya then ends the show saying that Mike will roll his eye to bed.

Ep 418Worst Jobs Ever

Mike opens the show by asking Torya what is the worst job she ever had. She answers that she had a job at a trucking service and she had a boss who always ended the email with “please advise” and it was so annoying. The boss would always throw her under the bus if anything goes wrong despite the fact that it was her fault and just devise all these dumbass rules. Mike points out that this is the boss who requires that all emails go through her. She was in full control of both sides of the discussion. What causes the problem is that when Torya talked to the client and the client said this way, but Torya insisted she said it that way. Mike thinks this is crazy. Mike then shares his worst job story. This is the time he take over the technology department of a decent-sized company and was tasked to forge a procedure that would allow them to build software they wanted to build at the speed they want, like f*cking fast. And Mike thinks it’s not gonna work, but he pushed and pushed and he just performed. He worked his ass off because he wanted to be right. Mike points out that after 160 hrs of work and a series of tests done, they make it work with zero bugs. That was amazing!! Then they talked about how that boss didn’t bother to give them recognition even if the software was bug-free and 40 hours under the projected timeline. Then they talked about an article in reddit where people share horror stories from the worst job they had. Here's a quick list: Waiting tables at the retirement home - a combination of entitled people and a coworker who constantly takes over to the task you are currently doing and complains they had to do anything. Hotel Housekeeping - if it comes out in the human body, he probably cleaned that up. Corn detasseling on the farm. Street canvasser. Unemployment insurance call center employee. Night manager at a pizza place next to a huge university campus. Work at the toilet seat company. Dog groomer. Work nights doing laundry in a long term care facility. Dude working in the disney store. They end the show by saying that this is the anti climatic and the murder story should be the #1. Mike points out how important it is to take a breather. Take a break once in a while.

Ep 417Ok, Jackass!

Mike opens the show saying he can’t believe the absolute bullshit Torya got when she put up an ad for a virtual assistant. Torya then read her advertisement: If you have the skills that we’re looking for and are interested in part-time work, please DM me with your hourly rate and a summary of your past relevant experiences. Then someone sent a screenshot of her post at 5 am and asked how to apply for the post. She then restated what was in the ad and the response was an “okay jackass” and they blocked Torya. People nowadays are easily triggered and sensitive. Mike’s trying to create a persona for the brand. The brand is Yogi and he is salty. It only matters for prestige. The #1 seed rarely ever wins the championship. He just goes with the truth that he sees. Torya then concludes that they had this all dumbassery in one day and how Mike paid $45 for parking in the concert. Mike then shares the story behind it. Torya then shared a good idea for if you are a developer, you can build a parking garage across the street and you would have a full garage every night. That’s good money. Do it. Then Torya shares that today is going to be the most fantastic day since the day she moved in. She was excited about this for the last 6 years, the coolest event that happens yearly in the city of Huntington Beach - The Great Pacific Airshow. Then they talked about the adventure they had going to the place. Then they found this breakfast place, Lopez Tacos. Torya believes that their breakfast burritos will make you fall in love with Mexican foods. Mike says that their salsa was very very tasty. It was delicious. Then they went back to the car and went to PCH and there is a lot of parking. Like everywhere. Torya was willing to walk a mile because she is excited. Then they went to the 1st entrance- the beach parking lot. Then it happened, the parking was closed because there is an oil spill and the event was canceled. She asked why is this infuriating, not because there is an oil spill - shit happens, not because the show was canceled, because they need to clean the oil spill because the birds are dying. Why this is infuriating was when they were in the Lopez restaurant she was browsing the app to find the best place to park, and the oil spill had happened last night and they had not notified them up until they were canceled. Not until 2 mins before the show. Torya was salty because the show was canceled. The moral of the story was they had a fantastic weekend. They start with the Instagram troll, propositioned by a dumbass for a job, Mike paid too much for parking and Torya waited for the event for almost 6 years to be canceled. Then Torya ends the show by hoping that next weekend will be significantly better than last week and the weekend that comes after.

Ep 416Personal Porn People

Mike starts the show by sharing some good news that their last episode about Onlyfans was the #1 most downloaded episode in 2021. He said OnlyFans fucked up. Mike believes that content creators are the laziest motherfuckers on Earth. Torya agrees that OnlyFans fucked up. She then wonders why porn addicts just don’t browse in Pornhub and have not to pay and explore all the free contents Mike actually searched for that question and the only logical answer he had read, that they got obsessed with the particular person and that person was smart enough to not give everything free. Then they talked about when Mike was building the website for The Small Business Bootcamp and searching for a membership site, he found out one membership site for .25 cents a month for access to his blogs and his alleged subscribers were 1.2 million subscribers. You would have $250,000 a month, which is a decent amount of cash just for a MONTH. They continue to talk and agree that this is an interesting theory of being inexpensive. Then they talked about Bree that is now 2 years old and how she became a regal dog and full of feelings. So loyal, protective and loving. The dog has evolved into an amazing creature who just loves people. Then Mike shared some bad news, there are no more pigs in the zoo. Mr. Fin passed on 30 days after Ozzy. Mike was sad that Mr. Fin was alone so he kept taking him out, petting him during the day, and talking to him. But unfortunately, he didn't make it and it's sad. MIke wonders if he can love something, but he realizes that he has Torya and the dogs.

Ep 415AITA for Shaming the Neighbors

Mike opens the show by sharing another infamous Am I The Asshole post and how Torya picks these suckers based on the level of hilariousness. Torya then read the post and asked Mike if the poster was the asshole. Mike answered yes and points out that people having sex happens naturally, and they're not gonna have sex coz they have work the next day, but the poster purposely embarrassing them by putting applause track up to their ceiling is harassment. Why does the poster have the say when their neighbor had the say when to have sex. Torya believes that no one was the assholes because it’s completely okay to have sex and completely okay to harass your neighbor and be reported to the management. It's a natural cycle of things. Or they were both assholes. Mike then says that he has a bad habit. She agrees that Mike listens to what other people have to say. But the problem is, if he has looked up to something and he decided 100% that it is this way, then he will be angry at the other person because they were that bad and then come to another person help him realize to look that thing in the different perspective. But he will still be pissed. Mike believes he is in the minority for this kind of decision. He was in a fringe group. He wanted to understand what the other side was thinking, and he might change to that side. It's just his way. Mike firmly believes that the poster was the asshole for not admitting the harassment. Torya then shares her 2 points. 1st point was why both of them were assholes. It is a pretty dick move to embarrass someone that the poster decided to play an applause track after their neighbor's love-making. It's a dick move. Torya says she will definitely do this. It is also an equal dick move to report somebody to the management for harassment after you know you keep them up for hours and all they did was to embarrass you a little. People should be more aware of their neighbors. Then Toryaend the show by reading one funny comment in the post “kick down the door and say player 3 has entered the game” and that gave them a good laugh.

Ep 414The One Movement with Andrew Calderella

Mike opens the show by sharing some exciting amazing news, The Small Business Bootcamp is finally taking off. To celebrate this launch, tonight on the show they have an amazing guest, Andrew Calderella. Andrew was born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1966 to parents fighting for the civil rights movement. His life is a combination of The Rocky Story, Think and Grow Rich, & The Celestine Prophecy on steroids! He has been through so many harrowing and intense situations that those stories alone could fill volumes. He has overcome dyslexia, other learning disabilities, being legally blind in one eye, and being bullied to become a school leader, athlete, and attain university degrees in Speech & Communications, Religious Studies, and Eastern Philosophy. He has lived overseas, traveled the world, is a martial artist, yogi, and what many call a health and fitness fanatic. He is a serial entrepreneur and has run a successful strategic consulting firm for over 20 years. He is the creator of The 7th Foundation & One Movement and the bestselling author of The Way, 7 Revolutionary Steps to Living a Meaningful Life & Making a Real Difference in the World. He is an inspirational speaker, trainer, and coach who specializes in helping athletes, entertainers, entrepreneurs, executives, and other leaders to become their best in all areas of life while making a more significant positive impact on our world. Mike asks Andrew how he overcomes his learning disability - dyslexia. Andrew says he just learns how to compensate for it. What society has negatively labeled as “Learning Disabilities” are really just “Learning Differences” and alternative ways of thinking that often come with great gifts. Then he shares what inspires him to write the book The Way is his experience as a kid, all the trauma and trials in life, and how to overcome these challenges and to be the best people we can be, to be happy. What he found is you need to find a firm foundation in all these areas so if you want to be the best version of yourself. How we can be on the same page and how this foundation of life joins together to make changes in our society we all truly want. Then they talked about how the book changed Andrew's life after the publication of his book. The golden rule: treat others the way you want to be treated. Respect life, all people are equal, and treat other people the way you want to be treated. These three alone can solve our problems. Then Andrew discusses how these principles can help with the division. He points out that we are not divided. People are just misled and uneducated. Violence will never lead to peace. Torya then asks Andrew if he thinks it starts with only 1 person making the change in their mindset or a group of people making a real movement for it. Andrew then talked about how One Movement works.

Ep 413Another AITA About Food

Mike opens the show by saying how lucky he is with his life. He can live his life as much as he has, he has 4 amazing kids, 1 failed marriage, and now this marriage which to be honest he couldn’t ask for a better marriage if he designed it himself from the scratch. Like if he went to a subway of marriages, he could not create a better one than this one. He’s also proud of all of his children in different ways. They all have their own things and he’s proud of them. Then they talked about Mitchell, his youngest son, and how he is amazing. And recently, after their doctor visit, Mike asked the doctor about the potential long-term side effect of the vaccine. And the doctor made a great point that the side effects you know for sure you can get from COVID are far worst than anything you can get from the vaccine. His point was he feels that you need to live and make your decision based on the known and not on the unknown coz the unknown will remain unknown for such a long period of time. Fast forward, Mitchell comes to Mike and discusses how he wants to have the vaccine to be able to live a somewhat normal life. He really was proud of him for taking his time to make a decision on something that big. How fast time flies and soon he’ll be off to college. Then Torya discusses another Am I The Asshole post about a waitress in a restaurant chain known for their ice cream and asking if she is wrong for not wanting/allowing him to order the Mac and cheese that makes their child sick. Then she asks Mike what his point is about this. Mike’s answer is unexpected. The waitress is not the asshole in the story. If that lady didn’t open her mouth and still serves the kid with mac and cheese even though the mom already knows that her kid will throw up and their gonna leave and the poor woman will gonna clean that disgusting vomit. His answer is surprising for him because typically he would answer to let their own business. But this is her business. Because she is the one who will clean up the mess their child made. He really turns rant mode on. What kind of parent gives their children something they know for sure will make them sick. And how they feel so entitled in the restaurant. Even the dogs are kinda scared. That’s why this was called the Nightly Rant. Torya 100% agrees with Mike’s stand about this post. And how the other people think this was child abuse. She also points out how that child didn’t bother to go to the bathroom when throwing up. She thinks that the child was the real asshole in the post. She didn’t expect that Mike will go rant on about this topic. Then they think about maybe the parents didn’t believe in food allergy, the same topic with the last AITA post they talked about. Then they talked about how lunatic people think about a certain scenario: Government made up COVID. COVID is fake. There are videos of people in the hospitals. There are people coming online talking about how they had covid. The extent to which this conspiracy is to be spread is just impossible. COVID is not FAKE! The word is RADLY SUSS. Then they talked about the name of the episode. Torya says it should be RADLEE SUSS. Mike says that was racist. Mike points out that SOCIETY is one big ball of competition. Then they talked about in the future episodes they will talk about their favorite conspiracy theories. If you like those topics, please feel free to let them know at [email protected] Drop Mike a message in Matchmaker. It’s cool to get some feedback from you guys. Torya ends the show by joking with Mike about how he loves talking.

Ep 412From Above

Mike opens the show by saying that Torya and Olympic divers have something in common, they are both afraid of things that come from above. It’s true. Then Torya shares an article she read about in The Onion and how Olympic divers were tormented by hawks that built nests on a nearby platform. Here’s the link to the article: https://www.theonion.com/olympic-divers-tormented-by-hawks-that-built-nest-on-ne-1847415058 Then she shares how horrified she was on this kind of stuff and how she was scared of birds, and imagine its size - 5 feet wingspan. Mike believes this was fiction and no way this was real. Then Torya says that how entertaining the news will be if it is written the same manner as they write The Onion, you will want to listen. Mike always laughs when he hears brief snippets of the news in a monotone voice and how you can get the whole news in a podcast. He doesn’t want that. Torya thinks that news reporters tried so hard to have zero emotions because they’re reporting the news and are technically supposed to be unbiased but none of them are actually unbiased that they end up sounding like a bunch of spineless maggots. They have no spine, they have no opinion and they’re nothing useful. She thinks if people read the news like how she read that article, you would be riveted and you would be so into whatever they are talking about. He points out that they need to inject their personality, they need to be storytellers. Take the news and story tell it coz that’s how it makes it interesting. Then Torya talks about some Canadian shows that parody the news. Then they talked about how the news should be interesting, but Mike disagrees that the news should be informative. Then they argue because they were now lost at what topic they are talking about. Mike then asks Torya what is her favorite for the year 2021. She then thinks that her favorite memory will be their trip to Vegas, he agrees to it. But He feels that the bigger memory than the trip itself is what happens in the buildup to the trip, the things that change among them and what they maintain after the trip is what is amazing. Anyone can go on vacation and have those lovey-dovey times and be connected but to get it before you go, build it while you’re there and when you come back keep it at a high level is why he always says they were a great team. Then they talked about things they should have done while in Vegas. They end the show by saying this year 2021, a dog-friendly patio is one of the things you can search in Yelp.

Ep 411AITA for Bringing Food to a BBQ

Torya opens the show by asking what Mike thinks about the situation where you bring your own food to your mother in law’s BBQ party because you have a food allergy. Mike believes the asshole in the story was the mother-in-law because, let’s be real, whether you believe in food allergy or not. It’s safer to trust the word of that person. Whether you believe they exist or not. You can’t just dismiss that fact. She then tells a story about one person she knows that her mother-in-law didn’t believe she was lactose intolerant. In one family gathering, she decided to test the mother-in-law on thanksgiving day and destroy the bathroom. The smell destroyed the dessert after. They all agreed that the father-in-law was also the secondary asshole. Torya believes that defending the spouse is not necessary but Mike strongly disagrees because they usually got each other’s back. They both agreed that this episode is just short. The moral of the story is the original poster is not the real asshole. If you want to read the full Am I The Asshole post, here’s the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/AmItheAsshole/comments/obke3x/aita_for_bringing_my_own_food_to_my_mils_house/ If you like this kind of podcast, make sure to download it. Ep 410Naked and Stuck

Mike opens the show by saying that the news has gone crazy lately. Torya disagrees and said that the news was already crazy starting January 2020. Then they talked about the news about how one naked lady was wedged in between two buildings. And how the news is now gone cuckoo crazy about stuff like this because maybe they are tired of reporting about COVID 19. Torya then talked about the restaurant in Huntington Beach known for ignoring the covid guidelines and now calls for only unvaccinated diners. The news seems to think that if they ignored the covid guidelines, they should not be allowed to have any financial assistance. Mike points out that this is because they are an authoritarian society and it’s okay for them to dictate what other people should do or not do. Anybody who thinks that SCIENCE had anything to do with the pandemic response in this country, needs their head examined. Torya then asks the question, “If they’re breaking the law and therefore shouldn’t get any public assistance to their business in the state of California, then why is the state of California giving Medicaid to people who break the law in entering the country?” Mike answers that why people side more often on the right than the left is because he personally feels the left is extremely inconsistent. She then shares one hilarious thing in the news lately: how the state of California “mandated that all healthcare workers should have the vaccine”. She points out that if you read the article it says that either you take the vaccine or get tested weekly. Then Mike says that he avoided Twitter for a while because he always sees posts about Biden proudly saying that they have more growth in the economy in a 6 month period than any other 6 month period in history. He points out that don’t forget that the complete year before that the economy shut down, and just recently opened. She also says that the 2020 suicide rate was also high, the sad side effect of this pandemic. Then they talked about the trip they had in Vegas last weekend and how they had a great time. They were amazed at how Fremont Street was back to normal and was not crowded even on a Sunday night. There were enough people that it had the energy back but not so many that felt like they were sardines. They also went to Resorts World for the first time and the place was really RAD. They had lunch in the food court. Then they talked about the 4 ladies walking in front of them on the way to the restaurant and how one lady was not wearing a top. Torya confirms it and Mike says she is on the prowl. Overall it was a RAD trip and brought them closer together. They announced the sad news that when they were on the trip, their baby piggy, named Mr. Ozzy passed away. Mike ends the show by talking about their pet animals and how the animals are now sleeping.

Ep 409Oblivious People are Happy People

Mike opens the show talking about how Torya discovered the secret to a happy life. She said that the secret to a happy life is to be stupid. It’s easier for stupid people. Mike asks how it can be easier for them when they can't see the next thing that will come to them. They can't prepare for it. She points out that you can’t stress about them either. It will happen to you when it happens. He then asks if she’s presuming that stupid people can't perceive their future. She says no, she says that dumb people dont see the cues to let them know something awful is gonna happen. Torya believes that this episode is her rantiest show ever. Then she changed her rule that oblivious people are truly the happiest. Then they talked about how the smartest dog is still oblivious. Then they talked about how Bree was consistent about going to the P-A-R-K. Simple life they have. She’s just a happy dog. Even cats have pretty simple thoughts just like Jasper. He disagrees with it, he believes that cats have more complicated thoughts, they are learning. Like a toddler. Torya points out how oblivious people do not stress over things. Mike then shares that he doesn’t agree with this at all. She observes that highly intelligent people tend to be cynical, salty, and dark. She equates being cynical = unhappiness. The more cynical you are, the more unhappy you are in life. And what Mike's favorite phrase is I think. Torya says her favorite phrase is “Eat a dick!”. Then they talked about salty people. Torya explained how the renters complained that the stove in their AirBNB was broken. And how they were using the wrong cooktop in the induction stove. They were outrageous and said that they were still using the same cooktop since morning, but 15 minutes later said that the stove is now working and no apologies after all. Torya ends the show by saying that nobody will be salty in this story if the person in the wrong is owning their part in the problem. Maybe the oblivious people are the ones making the smart people salty?

Ep 408When Misinformation is Decided by the Government

Mike opens the show by asking Torya to picture this headline and tell him what the reaction would have been: “Trump admits to working with FB to identify people posting misinformation.” Torya feels this was systemic, outrageous. The left will have an outbreak of tediousness, they will be aggressive and so mad. Mike thinks it is fascist and authoritarian. He says that the real headline was that Biden admits that working with Facebook to identify people posting misinformation. People are outraged.. People believe that he violates the 1st amendment rights and it's concerning but it's not enough to impeach him. Torya believes that Biden should be thrown into jail for giving out misinformation. Mike had one consistent belief in all of this. Everyone is responsible for doing their own research and why it's really hard for good people to be good because they are taken advantage of. Torya asks if Joe Biden is only taking down posts from American people or from anyone in the world? Mike firmly believes he is only taking down posts from the American people. Torya asks why targeting only misinformation posted in a specific country? Not for the worldwide platform? Mike sometimes experiences that the level of success you get is based upon participation, how well you participate in the game. Putting the pieces together that work for you in an ethical way brings you growth. That’s a key concept to remember when you have a relationship. It works with relationships too! He pointed out that, wherever the servers are hosted, you will follow the law there. Torya pointed out that Joe Biden was only violating American law and not world law. But she later realizes that Biden is really violating the rights of every Facebook user despite their nationality. Biden really hates everyone! Then Torya shares her many problems with Vice President Harris. She believes that the Libertarians could pull together strong candidates for 2024 if they start now. Mike hopes beyond hope that it is Justin Amash because they need a big well-known name. Mike ends the show by emphasizing to DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. By doing this, you can confirm or deny things that are said. Or at least make up your mind by reading on both sides of the issue and which side you agreed on. He shares that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. He strongly believes that the key is don’t let one thing make you decide what you think about the person.

Ep 407OnlyFans: Don't Judge

Mike opens the show by saying the term amateur pornography is an oxymoron. Then they talked about how OnlyFans and porn work. He points out that if he set aside just accepting the societal norm situation and just thinking how he really feels about the situation. And stop complaining about women and how they dressed. Torya points that you should stop sexualizing women’s breasts. Then they talked about how people are frowned upon for having multiple partners and how it’s not the government’s business with who people have sex with. Then they talked about how Bree is growing as a creature, the discipline they were teaching her. They end the show by saying how Bree learned to ask to go out and how she turned into an amazing pooch.

Ep 406Lessons 2020 Taught Me

Mike starts the show asking what the year 2020 taught you. Torya answers that people are dumber than she ever thought before that. She then explains her answer behind that, it’s the way people acted in a shitty situation. They were amazed how they have 400+ episodes. Some are good, some are bad. You should visit Yogi’s Podcast Network website to listen more, yogispodcastnetwiork.com Mike then shares he doesn’t believe in blindly listening to things and believes in coming up with his own opinion. He points out that the 1st thing he learned with the year 2020 is that it was an F’d up year. And it showed us so much about society and the people as a whole. So you learn things. She said we should cancel the year 2020 for being trash and bring back the word RAD. 2nd lesson that Mike learns is that people don’t listen to what you say, they just want to insist that their understanding of what you say is actually what you said. Torya then shares an important lesson from the 2016 election to be happier people. Then they talked about how a mask can or not help you. The biggest lesson he learned was that mental health problems are extremely prevalent than anyone can ever think and we need to start doing something about it.

Ep 405Mike is a Scammer

Mike opens the show by saying that he was told that he was a scammer! He shares the story of how one person visited the Your Virtual CTO website and determined that the site was designed to scam people out of their financial information. He challenges everyone to find a single entry form that asks you for their financial information. Torya even points out that you can’t even purchase anything from the site. Mike points out that the person was not there to make a conversation but to make a narrative and preach it out to you. Then they talked about whether or not there is an insurrection last January 6. Mike’s opinion is that this is not an insurrection but the other person believes it otherwise. Then Torya asks an intriguing question about insurrection to Mike. Then Mike talked about the 3 collection forms on his website. Contact form is used at the button of the service page on the website. Application for the Technology Accelerator Roadmap Calendar page where you can schedule meeting with him Then they talked about the great and funny show they recently watched, Kim’s Convenience. They recommend it so you should go watch it.

Torya points out that every Sunday, everything was closed. Then they share the places they went to, First, they saw the Bicentennial Park, a replica of the Parthenon. It was a massive park, with a lake and funky trees. The cool part is that they had a platform with statues on it and benches that had words engraved on them. Mike concludes that this was such a peaceful place. Then they drove around the place and stopped at State Capitol. It’s uphill, but the place had an amazing view. As a big hockey fan, Michell wants to visit the Nashville Predator team store. So they did. When they arrived at the place, the rain was torrential. He had a bright yellow hoodie from the store. The original plan was to have Nashville hot chicken in the 400 degrees, but knowing that it is Sunday and it’s closed, they decided to go to Hattie B’s. And Mike was amazed at the street they crossed going to the restaurant. Then they talked about their dining experience at the restaurant. Then they share about how nice and friendly the people in Nashville are. They are greeting you nicely and look at your eye to eye. Then they talked about the place where the Civil war happened. Then Mike shares his point about the qualifications of a trainer - He can be out of shape but still understand and execute the principle of how to lose weight. Just because he can’t follow it doesn’t mean he can’t teach it. And how this guy was still training in the gym but EOS fitness does not allow outside personal training in the gym. Torya ends the show by saying the word “RAD” will become the word of the year.

To list - Changing the flight details without informing them firsthand. Onboard them on the plane while the plane had maintenance error. The flight take off from the original 9 am flight to 330 pm and promise to give them a snack bag (Torya was super disappointed with this). Then they shared their experiences about the car rental.
