Find out top comedian Michael Jr’s daily habits of success. Catch his main interview out in the episode right before this one, #510, where he charged us to “Be the Punchline”. 510: Michael Jr. - Be the punchline

A world class comedian who is not out to get laughs. He is out to “give people the opportunity to laugh” and help set the stage for meaningful, purposeful content of the heart and soul. His personal mission is to “comedically inspire people to walk in purpose”. He is accomplishing this in massive numbers while on stage with The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel, BET, Comedy Central, Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday and Tedx Talks. He will shortly be in a movie theater near you in a starring role for the feature film, “Selfie Dad”. Here is a novelty, he is a top ranked comedian who has no need or use for crude and vulgar jokes, imagine that. You will hear in the show how he views all of us, in living our lives, we are preparing and setting the stage. Why? For the punchline of our lives. The deliverable. Without that, it is simply a life of always preparing but never coming to the table with an offering. Nobody in The Ziglar audience desires this. So listen in to this interview and we believe you will be significantly inspired and empowered to do just that - Deliver. Connect with Michael at www.MichaelJR.com. 509: What helps people finally just do it?

We asked this question, “What caused you to finally start? You were going along, maybe had a wish or desire or need, but time went on and you did not act. Then finally, ___X___ happened and you started forward, took a step, leapt. What was the cause? Why did you finally go forward?” Of course we got a slew of great responses that my co-host Michelle Prince and I are about to share with you. Why? To help you in the next thing YOU want to truly get started on, but may feel hamstrung by something. A better explanation however, comes from Zig Ziglar himself, so we lead off with a two minute clip from him that will drive the message home. 507: Kevin Harrington - selling is building relationships with your audience

Kevin Harrington literally invented the infomercial, and was one of the original Shark Tank members on the hit ABC show. Kevin has launched over 20 businesses that have grown to over $100 million in sales each, has been involved in more than a dozen public companies, and has launched over 500 products generating more than $5 billion in sales worldwide The guy knows business folks. In this show you will hear why Kevin credits Zig Ziglar’s book ‘Secrets of Closing the Sale’ as a primary tool that spawned his success. Why businesses need investment and capital now more than they used to, how audiences have shorter attention spans and want authenticity, why he considers us to be in a “gig economy” and an “idea economy”, how instead of employing people, he outsources much more these days and he wants to be known as the guy who helps others build their businesses. 506: Your belief’s are not fact

The Ziglar audience grapples with this question we posted on Facebook, “Have you ever had a belief that you could NOT achieve something you desired, that you ultimately overcame and did achieve?” We received some vulnerable testimonials from people regarding work, military endeavors, athletic feats and the biggie, massive weight loss and life change. The topic came from one of Zig Ziglar’s famous presentations called, “flea training”. If you’ve heard it, you need to hear it again. If you have not, then here is a treat! 504: Erik Weihenmayer - overcoming your handicap. And you do have one.

Imagine climbing mount everest and the Seven Summits, earth’s greatest peaks. Then imagine kayaking the Grand Canyon, all 277 miles of it, in one of the most challenging rivers on earth. Sound impressive? Now close your eyes and imagine doing all that - blind. That is what Erik Weihenmayer did. The dynamics involved in doing such a thing equate to someone with a profound experience and ability in things like overcoming fear and discomfort. Faith. Perseverance. Joy. And much more. But it is not just about Erik being a veritable superhero. He does these things to inspire others. All others, as he believes we all have handicaps we must deal with and big obstacles to overcome. 500: Q&A - What problem does your biz solve?

The question, "What problem do you help solve? If you have a business, product, service, message, what problem does it solve for an end user or recipient?” We posted this question on show host Kevin Miller’s Facebook page - agentkmiller - and received incredible responses. The question came from our interviews with Don Miller in show 498 where we discussed his book, ‘Story Brand’ - Clarify Your Message So Customers Will Listen. He took us through the structure our business message should follow - “A CHARACTER who wants something encounters a PROBLEM before they can get it. At the peak of their despair, a GUIDE steps into their lives, gives them a PLAN, and CALLS THEM TO ACTION. That action helps them avoid FAILURE and ends in a SUCCESS.” If you have a biz, product or service or hope to, I guaranteed you’ll get wise direction from this show. 498: WORK - Don Miller, how story is the key to your biz success

Here is my testimony to Don Miller; of books written in the last decade, I have heard more testimony of actual life change as a result of people reading Don’s book, ‘A Million Miles In A Thousand Years’, than any other book. Period. I have purchased three cases of the book and given them away. I attended Don’s Storyline conferences, as have much of my family and friends. Now Don has brought his expertise and insight on story to the business world with unprecedented acclaim. If you want a successful business and life, what you will hear in the following interview and in Don’s just released book, ‘Building a StoryBrand: Clarify Your Message So Customers Will Listen’, is a must read. Why? It flips our perspective of how to promote what we have to offer to the public. It’s not about your product or service, it is about the customer. Don takes us through the structure of a good storyline and how we can and must apply it to our offerings in this format - “A CHARACTER who wants something encounters a PROBLEM before they can get it. At the peak of their despair, a GUIDE steps into their lives gives them a PLAN and CALLS THEM TO ACTION. That action helps them avoid FAILURE and ends in a SUCCESS.” When you listen in, I predict two things - 1) you will realize you are violating some of these principles, and 2) you will have an aha moment you can take action on right away. 497: ZIGBOMB - Can you really do and be anything?

In today’s show, I posted this question on my Facebook page, “We can do and become anything we want to do and become. Do you agree?” The direct answer was almost unanimous, but the perspectives varied greatly. I feel there were three main takeaways - 1) the necessity to know yourself well, your gifts, talents, skills and abilities, 2) the reality that we are all pretty prone to limiting ourselves, and 3) anything worthwhile WILL be overwhelming and require more than we can offer solely in and of ourselves. 496: HABITS - Tom Bilyeu, do not be right, be a learner

Round two with Tom Bilyeu in the show everyone is already raving about…Habits. We take the 7 spokes on the Ziglar Wheel of Life and ask today’s biggest world influences, what their daily habits are in each of these areas. If you didn’t catch the show prior to this one, episode 495 with Tom Bilyeu…gift yourself and go listen. It was one of more harder hitting shows on the nitty-gritty of walking out our personal development endeavors. The highlight for me was choosing to believe..it’s your fault. It’s all…my fault. Sounds terrible, doesn’t it. But it’s a massive freedom. Connect with tom at impacttheory.com or just search Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or iTunes for Impact Theory. In this show, you’ll hear how this legend in the wellness industry hates working out, how he had to stop working non stop for his marriage, how reading is his passion and road to self-improvement and why he loves playing video games with his wife! 495: MIND - Tom Bilyeu wants us to pull you out of the Matrix

Tom Bilyeu came on this show to help us develop an anti-fragile, unbeatable mindset.” He is the co-founder of 2014 Inc. 500 company Quest Nutrition — a unicorn startup valued at over $1 billion — and the co-founder and host of Impact Theory. Impact Theory is a first-of-its-kind company designed to facilitate global change through the incubation of mission-based businesses and the cultivation of empowering content. Every piece of content Impact Theory creates is meant to underscore the company mission to free people from The Matrix and help them unlock their true potential. Impact Theory exists to inspire the next generation of game-changing companies and creators that will make a true and lasting impact on the world. I really got interested in what Tom was doing after seeing a video of an interview he did with Simon Sinek on Millennial. The video went viral and helped bring a lot of people to Impact Theory. I’ve now watched countless interviews from Tom. If you find him on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, you’ll see a hard-driving approach to personal development, no excuses and getting the most out of yourself. But in this interview, you’ll hear it comes from a challenging upbringing and a lot of compassion for our humanity. Tom talks at length about how average he is and had to work so hard at learning how to be more. How he built a billion-dollar company in the wellness industry but hates working out…even though he does it every day. You’ll also hear me tackle a controversial video he posted titled, “It’s all your fault” where he charges us to take everything bad that’s ever happened to us and say, “It’s my fault.” Sound ridiculous? Listen in. Connect with Tom at Impacttheory.com or just search Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or iTunes for Impact Theory. 494: ZIGBOMB - Greg McKeown will see you at the top

In my interview with Greg McKeown, author of the book, “Essentialism”, he cited his fave Zig quote/concept was, “See You At The Top”, because 1) “There is always more room at top than the bottom" 2)“Life can be of ever increasing contribution" 3) “Our greatest contribution always lies ahead of us, not behind us.” From that I posted this question on my agentkmiller Facebook page: What role does "motivation" play in your real, day-to-day life? There is plenty of baggage associated with the word? I'm asking for some show content, so as always...looking for real feedback, not platitudes. Thank you! We got a wealth of responses that my cohost Michelle Prince and I covered…it was incredibly insightful into this world of personal development and motivation that admittedly has some differing perceptions and values to people. It ended up getting broken down into two parts, 1) motive as the core desire you have to pursue something, but then also 2) what you do to motivate yourself to take action when those times come and even though you want the achievement, you just don’t feel like doing the work. It made me really look at the topic differently. I expect it will for you too. Thanks to all of you who have been leaving new reviews in iTunes! That helps us get seen by more people. Today I walk through the seven spokes of success in the Ziglar Wheel of Life with Greg to see what his habits for success are, and I’ll tell you now, I bet you’ll hear some new ones. I sure did. 492: MIND – Greg McKeown, the higher status of essentialism

Greg McKeown is the bestselling author of the book, “Essentialism” - The Disciplined Pursuit of Less. The term best seller is used a lot, so let us clarify this is the real deal. The book was published 3.5 years ago and as of this writing is ranked as the 1,289 bestselling book on Amazon. Overall. That’s a big, big deal. And now having studied the book, we know why. It’s a game changer. A life changer. As you will hear in this interview, it’s not about minimalism. It’s more about making the right and best decisions. Putting decisions to an extreme tests. Being in control. A great analogy that sets a good stage is, Greg says that in an emergency, “Everyone is an essentialist.” We get on task, on target, divest ourselves of non-necessities, and do what is most efficient, effective and successful. So can you really live every moment like that? Listen in and find out. Connect with Greg and his revolutionary work at http://gregmckeown.com. 491: ZIGBOMB – Jordan Harbinger on giving to get

Jordan Harbinger of The Art of Charm podcast and empire was on stage at a live event he was MCing in Las Vegas and he gave us his favorite Ziglar quote, and why. The quote? “You can have everything in life you want if you will help enough other people get what they want.” Then this is interesting, I had been taking our guests quotes and crafting a question around them and posting to the Ziglar Facebook page which has nearly 4.5 million fans. We get many, many comments. This time however, I posted to my personal page at agentkmiller. We’ve never gotten so many in depth, authentic comments. So much that it was really hard to filter through and decide what to bring you, as it was too much to share them all. On that note, you are welcome to friend me at agentkmiller on Facebook, as I’ll be posting a question around our guests’ ZigBomb every week. So what is the question I posted that provoked so many deep comments? I asked, “While the concept sounds all well and great, where have you had success or challenge in living this concept out? What concerns and/or feedback do you have regarding the statement? Be as raw and honest as you will.” And people were just that, raw and honest. I brought in my co-host Michelle Prince to talk through some of the comments. Thanks to Joey who just left a 5 star review in iTunes and testifying to Tom Ziglar, right after some grumpy soul left a stinger about Tom. 490: HABITS - Jordan Harbinger’s personal development highs and lows

You know Jordan Harbinger of The Art of Charm podcast fame and today he is back with us after our main interview in the last episode where we talked about social skills. In this show we are going behind the scenes with Jordan to look at his own personal development. Where is he strong, where is he week, what are his personal habits to help inspire HIS true performance? You will hear him talk about “leaving things better than you found it,” and being the guy people divulged personal things to, even if he wasn’t really wanting to hear it. He was very gifted in some social arenas as a kid, but clueless in others - like playing only boy playing a flute. He grew up as an only child and he has to remember he’s not the only person in the equation. It’s a great show folks. 489: PERSONAL - Jordan Harbinger | Social Capital Necessities for Success

Back for his second time on this show, Jordan Harbinger, the rockstar podcast legend who hosts The Art of Charm podcast. Friends, “How to win friends and influence people” written by Dale Carnegie in 1936 is one of the all time business classics. You will find very few world leaders and influencers who don’t site it as a primary message that helped enable their success, just like Zig Ziglar’s “See You At The Top”. Jordan’s primary focus at The Art of Charm is social skills. Personal relationship skills. There is arguably NOTHING that impacts our lives for better or worse, than our social skills. Yet when and where are they taught? Nowhere unless you were fortunate enough to have parents like mine who had me read the book and took me to Carnegie Classes. In this show we drill down into the necessity and opportunity of social skills. There is nothing you have more control over, can take action on quicker and will produce greater results in your life. Period. Make sure you find Art of Charm where you listen to podcasts and subscribe, and you can check out all Jordan is doing at artofcharm.com. 488: Failure is an event, not a person

Chris cites “Failure is an event, not a person” as his most impacting quote from Zig Ziglar. That quote comes from a longer quote of Zig’s, “Failure is an event, not a person. Yesterday ended last night. Today is a brand new day, and it’s yours.” We took that quote, and Michelle Prince in a recent Facebook Live talk, asked the listeners this question, “Who of you listening have had a failure in your life that led to something great?” There were over 800 comments during her talk and we pulled a handful to discuss in today’s show. 487: HABITS – Chris Guillebeau’s personal development highs and lows

Chris Guillebeau leads and influences the world in nonconformity, travel hacking, business start up and now, the Side Hustle (his brand new book we dig into in show #486). But what about his own personal development story? In this show you’ll hear how Chris doesn’t like the term “balance”, he likes “alignment” and “seasonality”. Being grateful is a key goal for Chris. He worries about disappointing people and letting them down and is concerned about where he’s falling short. He’s not strong in details, follow up and building a company, but his strength is figuring out alternative ways of doing things and helping people fast track their process. His goals are not flexible, but the strategy or tactic are. He says, “I am a 100% introvert. My default mode is being by myself. I do events and look forward to them, but at the end of the night I need to go be by myself.” He talks about taking risks, but for him, only very calculated risks. In show 481 we talked with Mark Sanborn, author of The Potential Principal. We asked him what his favorite Zig quote and value was and he gave us this, - What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals. We then created a great, inspirational quote poster with that quote and posted it on the Ziglar Facebook page along with this question, If you understand the value of goals but have still not written them out for your life and desires, why? We got a lot of responses and picked out five we felt were highly relevant for everyone. This profound conversation Kevin Miller and Tom Ziglar had with Joshua dissected a profound concept Joshua calls SIDCHA – Self-Imposed, Daily, Challenging, Healthy Activity. Ziglar fans have heard much about daily habits of success. But what came from this discussion was the healthy habit actions are far more valuable than the end result of that particular activity. We are talking about habits we do not HAVE to do. The daily habit of brushing your teeth, getting dressed, going to work, eating...those are have to habits. Healthy habits we do not have to do are things like morning devotions, exercise, journaling, working on improving a relationship. If we don’t do those things, generally nobody knows or cares and you do not have an immediate negative consequence. The power in doing those things is in choosing to do something you don’t have to do. Something challenging. Joshua’s new book, “Leadership Step by Step” – Become The Person Others Follow is unlike any other leadership book, as it doesn’t simply teach you leadership skills, it makes you take action and learn how to actually lead. Self-Imposed, Daily, Challenging, Healthy Activities. To grow into a leader, even if it’s simply learning to lead yourself! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

483: Rabbi Evan Moffic – Ancient wisdom for happiness

Rabbi Evan Moffic became the youngest senior rabbi of a large synagogue in the United States, at the age of 31. He has just released his new book, “The Happiness Prayer” – Ancient Jewish Wisdom for the Best Way to Live Today. It is derived from a literal prayer recited and sung during Jewish worship, handed down from rabbis 2,000 years ago. What’s interesting is Rabbi Moffic showcases this “prayer” is just as relevant regardless of your faith, or if you even claim faith. Which in essence makes it as much cognitive training, as it might be a prayer. We dig into why “happiness” is such a big topic today and what causes our happiness to erode. The meat of the interview is in the latter half where we dissect the 10 point of structure that cause or hamper happiness. It’s not a formula per se, but it lists out the ingredients that make or break happiness in a format we can work through and address and apply in our own lives. 482: Getting past failure – a Q&A show

The favorite Zig quote from Christopher Lochhead, our guest in show 479, is this – “Make failure your teacher, not your undertaker.” We posted this on Facebook and asked for your feedback on failure; has it held you back, is it holding you back? We took five vulnerable comments and host Kevin Miller and co-host Michelle Prince walked through some of their personal experiences in their own lives, the lives of others and the principles of Zig Ziglar. You will no doubt relate and be empowered in this new episode format. Thanks to Bombfell (men’s clothing), Breather (meeting and office space) and Princess Cruise Lines for supporting this episode. 481: Mark Sanborn | Want hope? Just improve yourself

Mark Sanborn wrote the international bestseller, The Fred Factor. Now he brings us “The Potential Principal” – A proven system for closing the gap between how good you are and how good you could be. Let me tell you, this is not a ra-ra motivational speech on “we all have more potential”, nor is it an admonishment that you just need to do more, push harder and push out everything in life you enjoy to be a pure workhorse for achievement. It’s a real look at our opportunity to improve and the hope and joy that comes from it. And it’s a program to work through to effectively, efficiently and healthfully groom your own potential. 479: Own your category – Christopher Lochhead

Christopher Lochhead’s new book, “Play Bigger”, is an absolute game changer. If you have a product, service, message or business, and you want to be number one in the category where you serve, you need to stop what you are doing and listen to this show and reorient around the counsel. As I am, and we at Ziglar are! More important than the quality of what you offer and even your brand, is understanding the category your business is in, and designing around it. You’ll need to listen in to fully understand, but it will excite you like nothing else. This is a new movement folks. 478: Find freedom from scarcity – Jack Alexander

Jack Alexander does NOT bring us a prosperity message in his brand new book, “The God Guarantee” - Finding Freedom from the Fear of Not Having Enough. But he showcases how most all of us have a scarcity mentality, whether we’re barely scraping by or we’re making millions. So how does God provide? How should we approach Him? Jack gives us some steps that he did not create. He simply takes them right out of one of the most popular stories in the Bible and it will absolutely change your paradigm, as it did mine! 477: How to gain trust

Zig teaches on a topic that I absolutely believe is more important than any topic covered in formal education. It should be a foundational topic BEFORE any other. What is it? It’s personal relationship skills. Folks there is nothing better you can do to better your life on ALL fronts, then learn how to better connect with people and gain their trust and interest. Nothing. And if you don’t know how to do that well, you are handicapping all your other efforts in the worst way possible. Zig is talking about sales. If you are new to Ziglar, then let me fill you in; we believe everyone is in sales. Actually, it’s more than a belief, it’s a fact. So today’s message is highly relevant for all of us. If you have relationship with anyone on the earth, you need to know how to influence and care for them well. That is called sales. So whether you are actually involved in literal sales in your profession, or you are just a human, you are in sales. We listen to Zig then break down a few high points to help you apply the principles to your life, now! Thanks to Be Frugal, Princess Cruise Lines and Capterra for supporting this episode. 476: Should you be better than others? – Dr. Kristin Neff

Dr. Kristin Neff’s has a TED on self-compassion that has over 800k views. Kristin’s book is titled “Self Compassion”, The Proven Power of Being kind to yourself. You can find her at http://self-compassion.org/ What hooked us was her commentary on self-esteem. Zig Ziglar was the king of calling us to the necessity of a healthy self-image, but when Kristin divulged the research of how our culture has gone about achieving self-esteem at the sake of others and what it’s done to all of us, we were floored. Two big focal points you’ll get from this are in relation to, 1) how we tend to equate self-esteem with comparing to or being better than others, and 2) how our self-esteem is conditional. We have better self-esteem…if. This is an interview that will equip you to better address your own self-esteem in a healthy way and empower you to be and do what you need and want to do. Our point here is to bring you tools and resources to help you progress in your life, however, that looks for you. We want to eliminate the things that handicap and limit you. This issue today is huge. I watched Dr. Kristin Neff’s TED talk, then reviewed the book to pull out the big issues, and that is what Tom Ziglar and I discuss with her today. 475: Step out of the crowd and out of the norm

Zig Ziglar brings us a message on the opportunities we have and insight on the hard work and overcoming it will take. If you don’t want a normal life of mediocrity, you’ll have to step out of the crowd. And that…is hard. Harder than we realize, so we break it down today. If you believe you “get it”, of course doing something different is harder work, I’d encourage you to listen to the specific issues Zig brings us. 474: How to make people feel appreciated with Dr. Paul White

Dr. Paul White helped Gary Chapman bring the profound message of “The Five Love Languages” into the workplace and it is powerful. 473: Alter your reality – Zig style

Mr. Zig Ziglar comes with a fairly brief message that has one point: making a dramatic turn around for the good when the circumstances are in the dump. He leads off with a personal story that hits the point home and leaves us fully empowered to radically change our prospects for success, right now, especially if you feel circumstances are set against you. We then take what Zig shares and show you how the crux of his message is the crux of what you and I accept as “reality”. It’s a shift that will decide if we stay in the norm, or not. I’m serious folks. It’s a simple shift that is possibly the hardest to actually make. Which is why the masses stay just that…the masses. If you wanted to be normal, you would not be here. Stick with us in this show and I guarantee we will either massively empower you, or cause you to accept that you do not want true, positive change in your life, and save you a lot of heartache and effort. 471: Do you have ability beyond your own needs?

Zig Ziglar comes to us on stage, with a compelling message on the power of reaching out to others, for two reasons. One, to go beyond just caring for yourself, so you can care for others. And two, what happens FOR you when you do so? One thing is…others reach out to help you. Zig references a charge given to him by a teacher and coach who influenced his life, and later became his father in law! The coach said, “Those of you who have an ability which goes beyond just providing for your own needs, have a responsibility AND opportunity to reach down and lift up those people who do not have that same ability and opportunity.” We have more and more people today who have great hearts, great things to offer, but they feel alone, isolated, unsupported and in many ways…stuck. If that is you, you’ll want to hear this. Or if you know someone else who may feel this way, send the show to them. Or maybe you are helping others and getting helped, this will inspire and confirm you and spur you to do more! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

470: When love is not the answer – Dr. Emerson Eggerichs

Dr. Emerson Eggerichs has a life-changing message for men and women that will absolutely change your relationships. It’s so paradigm shifting and revelatory that men, yes men…want to talk to their significant other about it. We’ve painted relationships to be about “love”, only to discover that we are only speaking to one-half of the equation. Sounds odd, but the truth often is. This message will…alter your world. Today we go short and sweet on Zig Ziglar’s #1 principle for success. You’ve heard it, but have you really H E A R D it?! Has it really taken root? Missing it would be like having a race car but missing the tires. This principle is the foundation for everything else Zig teaches, “You can have everything in life you want if you’ll help enough other people get what they want.” But let’s hear it from him, then dig in a bit. 468: Create your culture – Dina Dwyer

Dina Dwyer is back with us. In show 402 which has been downloaded over 40k times, she took us through her book, “Values Inc” proving that leading your business and career with values is not only the right thing to do, but it makes far more money! For Dina, this is to the tune of $2 billion annually. We have her back now because she’s released something new, the “Create Your Culture Workbook”, and you can have it for…free; Which you’ll very much want after hearing this interview. My analogy…if creating a mission statement for your business and work is a nice little doormat to your home, this workbook on creating the culture is actually sitting down in your living room. No comparison. Dina gives us 6 steps in the workbook to clarify our values and create our culture. Step one, for instance, is “Clarify Your Values”, and Dina literally showcases a list of 106 commonly held values to choose from. 467: Selling is caring and if you care you must sell

One of Zig’s favorite quotes and mine (Kevin) is, “If you believe your product or service can fulfill a true need, it's your moral obligation to sell it.” But it’s even bigger. YOU are a product and you are on planet earth to serve. Selling is influencing. If you can’t effectively influence others in a positive way, you can’t really serve them much. Thus if you are walking through life today with no formal understanding of and training in selling/influencing, you are living life handicapped. I’ll even submit you are handicapping those you love because you are not as effective as you should be in helping them…because you aren’t listening enough, caring enough or successfully speaking their language. Not yet. But after this show, you’ll be well on your way! Thanks to Constant Contact, Upside, Blue Apron and ZipRecruiter for supporting this episode. Learn more about your ad choices. 466: Hero, a message every man needs to hear – Dr. Meg Meeker

Dr. Meg Meeker says, “In a culture that lauds mothers as the parental heads of the house, the role of fathers has become inappropriately minimized—and in some cases even ridiculed. Fathers need to see themselves the way their children see them, You are, whether you know it or not, the center of their world, the hub of the wheel that is your family, the hero they depend on. If you’re not there or not engaged, they suffer.” Those are significant statements and it’s what we dig into in this interview, along with, “Three questions your child needs you to answer”. You get your superpower. You get your just rewards. You up your performance. It’s not rocket science. You’d think it was common sense. But it’s so, so uncommon. Zig expounds on the power of personal relationships and specifically, the benefit to ourselves when we love others. Did you catch that? We need to let go of limited self-beliefs, turn down the voice of the inner critic, drop masks of who we think we are “supposed” to be and agendas of what we think we “should” do.” Sounds very Ziglaresque, wouldn’t you say?! We cover issues such as, ““We all face setbacks we cannot control, yet we often forget that we have a choice about how to handle those setbacks.” As well as, “Managing your expectations is not about lowering your standards.” This was a powerful and eye opening interview that provides relevant value to everyone.
