In light of the recent social media movement, #MeToo, Children of the Street Society and Cossette want to bring awareness to the male-dominated issue rather than the victims themselves by educating youth on what sexual abuse looks like and challenging young males to find their voices. The campaign includes interactive school posters and transit shelter ads that encourage passersby to use their phones to scan Snapcodes. Minimum Wage And The Working Poor
Fraser Institute research shows that increasing the minimum wage does not help the working poor—the very people the government is trying to help by increasing the wage—but actually results in lost jobs (and fewer hours) for young people getting their first work experience. There are better ways government can help low-income workers (for example, income transfer top-ups) that don’t have all the negative consequences of increasing the minimum wage.
