Nik Rabinowitz, South African comedian, actor and author spoke to us about his new show Work In Progress which covers mid-life crises, the pitfalls of genetic testing, hair transplants and when to have them (never) as well as a variety of other topics in a thoroughly insensitive manner. In the show Nik Rabinowitz tries to figure out who he is (as opposed to finding himself which he did in his 30s), where he came from, where he’s going (Romania, probably), and how he ended up here with a wife, three kids, two animals, and the vague feeling that this life might actually belong to someone else.

Retang Phaahla runs Setšong Tea Crafters in partnership with her mother Nondumiso Phaahla.She spoke to us about how Setsong aims to develop the economy, establish and create jobs within the rural areas of South Africa through tea harvesting & crafting . Setsong is an indigenous tea found in the natural landscapes of South Africa, more prominently within the rural areas of Limpopo.

Adrian Hayes is a British record-breaking adventurer, author, keynote speaker, leadership, team and executive coach & consultant, documentary presenter After sold-out book tours in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore, he will be in SA from 15 - 19 July to launch his latest book: One Man's Climb: A Journey of Trauma, Tragedy and Triumph on K2.

Asif Hoosen, Head of Marketing and Product at Audi South Africa spoke about Audi introducing a virtual reality-enabled private lounge, which allows potential buyers to virtually customise any Audi model.The new Audi Customer Private Lounge , at the Audi Centre Centurion in Gauteng, consists of a 75-inch VR screen, a tablet, 3D headsets, graphics that are seen in three-dimensional and in 360-degree views, supported with light and surround sound effects.

Megan Werner founder of NGO, U-Dream spoke about her project U-Dream Which selected a group of South African teenagers to build an which has successfully landed in Egypt three weeks after it set off from Cape Town. Megan Werner is a 17 year old model, author, speaker who dreams of becoming Miss Universe one day.

Richard Richard Mabaso, CEO of the Ibumba Foundation spoke about the 8th edition of Trek4Mandela, an annual expedition to summit Africa's highest peak Mount Kilimanjaro, in celebration of the vision of Nelson Mandela.

The Boikanyo Foundation has partnered with Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital to help deliver critical surgeries to children with congenital and acquired heart defects, admitted at the hospital.Alex Staniland is the driver of the 1972 VW Beetle, the Boikanyo Bug which was launched to will soon set off on a 14 500km journey from Cape Town to Romania to raise funds to help underprivileged children receive heart surgeries at the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital in Parktown.

Portia Mavhungu is the inventor of Para Tube a device that helps the disabled use the toilet. She spoke to us about how the device allows those in wheelchairs to use the toilet without having to be lifted from their chair.

Prof Nigel Holt, PRofessor of Psychology at Aberystwyth University spoke to us about a recent research study which looked at how often people in 40 different countries decided to return a lost wallet to the owner.In 38 countries, the wallets with higher sums of money were returned more often than those with smaller amounts.

Courtney Bentley, CEO of Vizibiliti Insights was named one of the 2019 Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 on Friday 28th June. He spoke about this milestone and establishing Vizibilitiy, which is a globally recognised credit scoring company.

Ursina Rusch, project co-ordinator of WWF Black Rhino Range Expansion Project spoke about the project which is one of WWF's most successful species conservation projects.The project is central to the goal of increasing the population growth of black rhinos, which are listed as critically endangered, with only 2 000 left in South Africa.

South African indie-pop group, Watershed, has returned with the release of its seventh studio album titled 'Harbour,' which was officially released in November 2018. Multi-disciplinary artist, David Brits, has unveiled his first public sculpture at the new Aerobiology TB Research Facility at the Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation in Masiphumelele, an area near to where the artist grew up and a community close to his heart.He spoke to us about the sculpture which explores pattern as the basis for understanding.

South African milliner Crystal Birch is one of the designers of the beautiful hats that will be showcasing at Vodacom Durban July 2019 Having conquered the styling and millinery worlds, Crystal Birch is now a co-owner of one of the last three hat factories in South Africa and whose irreverent designs of classic hats have become beloved adornments on the heads of South Africa’s fashion conscious.
