Award-Winning Filmmaker and screenwriter Jahmil X.T. Qubeka was our Guest Presenter. His chosen guests were Faniswa Yisa South African actress best known for her starring role as Gladys Sondlo, Bee's stubborn, troubled mother who is a nurse at the local community clinic, in the SABC1 drama series JAB.We were also joined on the line by 3 time SAFTA nominated Sivuyile “Siv” Ngesi who is one of SA’s most dynamic performers, whose diverse talents have seen him making waves in the South African entertainment industry.Also joining us was Zolisa Xaluva is a South African actor best known for his roles as Jason on the SABC1 soapie Generations (2005-2006), and as Lwazi Mboweni on the fourth season of the SABC1 drama series Tsha Tsha, in 2006. Jahmil Qubeka’s career has spanned over 15 years covering an entire spectrum of filmmaking disciplines, most notably, his documentary and feature film work has enjoyed screenings at various prestigious international film festivals including Toronto International Film Festival, Rotterdam Film Festival, London International Film Festival, Pusan International Film Festival (Korea), Dubai Film Festival amongst others.

Portia Mavhungu is the inventor of Para Tube a device that helps the disabled use the toilet. She spoke to us about how the device allows those in wheelchairs to use the toilet without having to be lifted from their chair.

Prof Nigel Holt, PRofessor of Psychology at Aberystwyth University spoke to us about a recent research study which looked at how often people in 40 different countries decided to return a lost wallet to the owner.In 38 countries, the wallets with higher sums of money were returned more often than those with smaller amounts.

Courtney Bentley, CEO of Vizibiliti Insights was named one of the 2019 Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 on Friday 28th June. He spoke about this milestone and establishing Vizibilitiy, which is a globally recognised credit scoring company.

Ursina Rusch, project co-ordinator of WWF Black Rhino Range Expansion Project spoke about the project which is one of WWF's most successful species conservation projects.The project is central to the goal of increasing the population growth of black rhinos, which are listed as critically endangered, with only 2 000 left in South Africa.

South African indie-pop group, Watershed, has returned with the release of its seventh studio album titled 'Harbour,' which was officially released in November 2018. Craig Hinds, member of Watershed, talks to us about the album, which was nominated for a South African Music Award (SAMA) for Best Adult Contemporary Album – only seven months after its release.

Chelsea Paull, Founder of Umoya Foods joined us in studio to talk about her food venture of ccaled Impact. Multi-disciplinary artist, David Brits, has unveiled his first public sculpture at the new Aerobiology TB Research Facility at the Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation in Masiphumelele, an area near to where the artist grew up and a community close to his heart.He spoke to us about the sculpture which explores pattern as the basis for understanding.

South African milliner Crystal Birch is one of the designers of the beautiful hats that will be showcasing at Vodacom Durban July 2019 Having conquered the styling and millinery worlds, Crystal Birch is now a co-owner of one of the last three hat factories in South Africa and whose irreverent designs of classic hats have become beloved adornments on the heads of South Africa’s fashion conscious.

Shouqat Mugjenker, Mental Health Portfolio Manager at Pharma Dynamics spoke to us about the long term effects of bullying in school. It is estimated that around 41% of children in South African school’s experience some sort of bullying during their school career.

Lebogang Lebogo, Bio technologist & first drone pilot for the South African National Blood Service spoke to us about delivering emergency blood to remote, rural areas in SA . She will operate the Tron unmanned aerial vehicle, a highly specialised aircraft to transport emergency blood packs from blood banks to district hospitals.

Leana de Beer, CEO of Feenix spoke to us about her Crowdfunding organisation Feenix, which was born out the need to address the issue of access to tertiary education for all. It serves as a digital platform, where businesses and individuals are able to donate funds to students.

Our guest Josh Ansley is part of the production team that will be performing the songs of Simon & Garfunkel between 4 and 28 July, He spoke about the music concert titled Here’s To You, which Is performed by a stellar all South African cast of 8 talented singers who all play musical instruments.
